I wish I’d walked out of the Detroit “Clerks II” critics screening at the point Joel Siegel did in New York.
Siegel, ABC’s “Good Morning America” film critic, walked out of the movie when characters were talking about paying a woman to perform oral sex on a donkey. Unfortunately, I stayed and saw the part where a man actually does that–and anal sex with the animal, too.
Where is People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals–and Moviegoers–when you need them? This is the deviant “cultural” level to which America has declined. I hope it’s the nadir, but I fear we will decline much further. I’m no prude, but I know what sick is. And Clerks II is the epitome of it.
“Clerks“–a mid-1990s low-budget “indie” film–put director Kevin Smith on the map. But, as the disgusting sequel, “Clerks II,” proves, he never deserved to make it there.

Don’t Waste Your Time on “Clerks II”:
Depraved Movie About Depraved Losers
When I saw the original “Clerks” after much praise and hoopla for the genius boy-wonder filmmaker, I couldn’t understand the hype. The film had maybe three funny scenes and a lot of other boring, obscenity-laced ones. It was the most over-rated film of its day.
Now, “Clerks II” will replace its predecessor for that title. The film is garbage. It’s depraved, disgusting, and demented–all of which reflect the same on its writer/director, the now-worshipped idol of the slacker set, Smith.
The movie is a celluloid monument to the continuing decline of America–and civilization in general. What is funny about bestiality (or “interspecies erotica,” as the movie calls it)? What is funny about losers who have no human decency? What is funny about drug dealers? What is funny about putting flies in someone’s cheeseburger and urine in someone’s drink at a fast-food joint?
If that’s funny to you, you’re a loser, much like Kevin Smith and his characters are. Sure, Smith–creator of the loseratti culture–is now a multi-millionaire from his movies, proving there’s no accounting for good taste in America. But he’s just a loser with money. He is subhuman, as evidenced by this sad, sick silver screen tale. He’ll never arise from the gutter.
The movie was not funny, not interesting, and not the least bit entertaining. It was just frightening–frightening that something like this could make it to the big screen and merit the hype of a repeatedly looping one-hour VH1 special. The cult-following that Smith and his Clerks movies garner is disturbing. But maybe that’s why it’s called a cult following. After all, a whole cult drank poisoned Kool-Aid to their fatal detriment.
And this movie, “Clerks II,” is a moving picture version of that Kool-Aid for our decrepit society. What is likeable about 33-year-old losers who swear and dream up depraved, obscene scenarios all day long? This is Gen-X “wit”? You can hear that on satellite radio. It’s no big whoop. What is likeable about drug dealers who do the same? Nothing.
But Smith likes those kinds of people. What he doesn’t like–as we know from the rest of his repertoire of garbage flicks–are Christians or any religious persons. Clerks II has a heavy, partially-hydrogenated dose of that. A slow, dimwitted fast food worker is–of course!–a Christian. Worse, he’s a Christian who believes in the Bible, was home-schooled, and at age 19 hasn’t had sex with his girlfriend. And–of course!–he’s the one turned on by the “interspecies erotica.” It’s the obligatory, predictable, undue ridicule of morality and decency in this latest Kevin Smith celebration of juvenile, moronic idiots who still haven’t grown up in their mid-30s.
Incredibly, there is a documentary about the making of this trash.
There is nothing likeable or redeeming about any of the characters in “Clerks II.” In fact, if Middle America were truly populated entirely by the Clerks II crew, we should all commit suicide now. There’s nothing worth living for.
But, thank G-d, it’s make believe. That’s why the heroes who save the day are Jay and Silent Bob, drug dealers who’ve made some extra cash through their wise peddling of pot and coke. Drug dealers are the only businessmen the left seems to like. All hail the left’s new twisted, revered version of capitalism.
I didn’t do the smart thing like Joel Siegel and walk out of Clerks II. Instead, I stayed until the end. Unlike the perverted rest of the movie, it’s strangely sanguine–as if this excuses the despicable nature of the rest of the movie to that point. It doesn’t.
But what the long, boring Clerks II does provide is a great opportunity. For an enterprising trial attorney to file a Class Action suit. It’s the only way for thousands of duped movie-goers to get compensation for almost two disturbing hours of their life they wasted.

Among my many writings over the years about Hezbollah, the recent ones illustrate the epitome of Hezbollah supporters’ chutzpah. And the eagerness of America to pander to it. Most recently, I’ve written about whining Lebanese Americans in Lebanon, the . I’ve also written about .
Now, something even more outrageous: You–the U.S. taxpayer–are picking up the $3,000 plus cost per person of ships, helicopters, and other transport of terror-supporting, America-hating Americans back to our shores. The cruise ship for which we’re paying is nothing more than the Hezbollah Love Boat, minus the gratuitous bikini shots, cheesy celeb guests, and Gopher.

This is unprecedented. All other Americans must pay the U.S. government for such rescue and transport. But not the mostly Muslim, mostly Hezbollah-supporting returnees from Lebanon. It’s a double standard, discrimination, and most of all, a violation of the Constitutional clause that requires Congress to establish no national religion. Pursuant to this clause, the U.S. government can’t prefer or favor a religion either. But it is doing exactly that by waiving the $3,000-plus fee to Arab, mostly-Muslim Americans. Congress passed a law requiring payment for such transport. So why is our government waiving it only for a group of people consisting of mostly one ethnic, religious group?
Then, there are the cruise ships we’re paying for–the Hezbollah Love Boats. Here’s what a high-ranking ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agent writes about those:

In response to the evacuation of people from Lebanon, did the use of a cruise ship ring any bells?
During Katrina, DHS used old cruise ships to house people. The use of cruise ships were done without any competitive bidding (ostensibly to save time) and the companies providing the ships charged a premium to house people ($300/day from what I read). A great deal for the cruise line as the ships were too old to be put in service.
Later, DHS, again, came up with the great idea to house aliens of these cruise ships, and of course, the cruise lines were only too happy to have their ships used; again, non-competitive contracts. I think the idea was dashed by Congress.
And when the Lebanon situation occurred, again, the use of cruise ships again reappeared. I bet the government is paying quite a premium for that cruise ship. Don’t we have a navy that could evacuate those people? From where did the cruise ship contract emanate?

He raises good questions. We’ll look into them.

But in the Detroit area–the heart of Islamic America–it’s a different story. Hezbollah supporters connected to Iran are feted by top federal officials.
Take , head of the shi’ite Islamic House of Wisdom–one of the largest mosques in North America. He was the spiritual leader of Ayatollah Khomeini’s Navy in Iran. Despite that, Elahi–who came here in the 1990s on a visitor visa to speak to a mosque in San Francisco–is now a U.S. citizen. Elahi’s ties to Iran are so strong that his former mosque, the Islamic Center of America, fired him–even though that mosque also backs Hezbollah.

Elahi’s mosque newsletter proudly featured a photo of him meeting in May 2005 with Hezbollah spiritual leader Sheikh Mohammed Fadlallah. Several congregants of Elahi’s mosque have been indicted and convicted of crimes involving money laundering to Hezbollah. One, restaurateur , was indicted for evading federal income taxes and laundering at least $20 million to Hezbollah. His son, , was convicted of murdering Paul Hallis–a Maronite Lebanese Christian who was engaged to his Muslim ex-girlfriend. (Islamic Honor killings do happen in America.) After 9/11, Elahi claimed Israel was behind the attacks, repeating the canard about Jews allegedly not coming to work that day.

Given all this, you’d think Imam Elahi would be an outcast under investigation. Instead, Elahi is a regular columnist for The Detroit News, attacking Jews, Christians, and Israel, and praising Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Detroit News Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley stands by his decision to run Elahi’s incendiary columns.
Then, there are the feds. In September 2005, U.S. Attorney a/k/a “Abu Porno”–incredibly, also now a –organized a . At his urging, Michigan FBI Chief and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Official shared the stage with him and far-left U.S. Congressman John Conyers.
(Though Elahi is believed to be an agent of the Government of Iran and did not disclose his ties to Hezbollah in his paperwork for U.S. citizenship, which should, therefore, be stripped. Unfortunately, Murphy and Moskowitz are the only ones who can investigate this and initiate such proceedings, and they refuse to do so, preferring to pander to him, instead. Murphy also deliberately allowed Elahi congregant/Hezbollah $20 million man Chahine, as well as the Hammoud family of Hezbollah operatives .)

Elahi gave the introductory speech saying, “No-one can say that I am not against terrorism. But what’s going on in the South of Lebanon–that group in the South of Lebanon–is not terrorism. It’s legitimate resistance against terrorism.” Though it was clear that Elahi was praising Hezbollah, the federal officials clapped enthusiastically, and Murphy responded: “We come with . . . humility and respect . . . . It’s a real honor to be here.”
During a question and answer period, they were asked why Hezbollah is on the State Department Terrorism list. The FBI and ICE officials said the decision isn’t up to them and didn’t seem to know why Hezbollah is on the list. U.S. Attorney Murphy laughed and joked about it, saying that he recently had lunch with a good friend who said that Hezbollah is a great group that provides social services for people.
The moderator of the event, Osama Siblani, responded, “That was me. I told you that.” Murphy confirmed, “Yes, I think that was you.” But Siblani–Editor of the Arab American News–was at a meeting held at Dearborn’s “Adonis” restaurant described in June by Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Seyassah as a gathering of Hezbollah’s American representatives and supporters of Christian leader Michel Aoun. Aoun and Hezbollah’s Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah recently signed an alliance pact.
At the Town Hall meeting, a crying woman asked the federal officials why her husband was in jail because of “credit card problems.” She said he was arrested after FBI agents raided her home and found a poster on the wall of “our leader, Hassan Nasrallah.” FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge William Kowalski ran to her side, gave her his business card and patted her on the back.
The woman, Rania Rahal, and her husband, Nemr Ali Rahal–both Elahi congregants–were later indicted for credit card, bank, and mortgage fraud in a scheme to obtain $500,000. When agents raided their home, they found a video of a 2002 Hezbollah rally attended by Rahal, a video entitled, “A Martyr Speaks About Martyrs,” and a Hezbollah recruitment video, in addition to a photo of Rahal tearing and burning the American flag. In February, Customs agents at the Detroit U.S.-Canada border found “military-quality” explosives on Rahal’s and his sons’ passports. The Rahals have since pled guilty. At Mr. Rahal’s sentencing, instead of being contrite, he apologized for ruining his credit record.
Both Michigan FBI’s Roberts and Michigan ICE’s Moskowitz refused to answer questions on camera about Elahi or his mosque . U.S. Attorney Murphy also delivered a friendly address to Hezbollah supporters at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center in Dearborn, last October, saying the group and the U.S. government had issues of common interest and concern. But the club is the site of many Hezbollah rallies. Bint Jebail, from which most club members emanate, is the Hezbollah-controlled town in Southern Lebanon from which Hezbollah frequently shells Northern Israel. Hezbollah leader Nasrallah is a frequent, honored guest and delivers many anti-Israel speeches there.
Then, there is the Knollenberg family–Republican U.S. Congressmen Joe Knollenberg and his son Marty, a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives. Both Knollenbergs accepted thousands in campaign contributions from the Nijad Fares family. Until recently, Fares’ father, Issam Fares, was the Syrian-installed, Hezbollah-backed Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon. Why would the Fareses care about the Michigan legislature? Well, they wouldn’t. But Mary Knollenberg’s Congressman father–as a high-ranking member of the House International Relations Committee–introduced successful legislation in 2000 (along with then-U.S. Senator ), which sent at least $86 million (Knollenberg sought $268 million) in USAID funds to Hezbollah-controlled Southern Lebanon for the ostensible purpose of rebuilding hospitals and infrastructure allegedly “destroyed” by Israel. The money has never been tracked.
Unfortunately, sometimes the adage that “all politics is local” couldn’t be more wrong. In the case of federal officials, sometimes their politics is what’s best for America’s enemies and their supporters over here, who are anything but loyal Americans.

We recently were advised of criminal activity involving US Government license plates. The incident involved GSA plates, but may apply to your agency owned vehicles as well.

We received a call from Immigration and Customs Service stating they had two of our GSA plates in their custody. It turns out they got the plates from an illegal immigrant smuggler’s vehicle trunk. When questioned, the suspect said immigrant and drug smugglers regularly “borrow” Gov’t. plates from parked vehicles, use them to do their business, then return them to the Gov’t. vehicles within one or two days (before they are noticed missing by the using agency).
It is not only an issue with smugglers, but also a potential national security threat when Gov’t. plates are used for criminal purposes. Therefore, we are asking you again to regularly check your GSA vehicles to ensure both plates are there, and if possible keep vehicles in a secured area. If one or both plates are missing, contact your GSA Fleet Management Center right away and report the loss.
Your diligence in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Some advice: If you’re stopped by someone with Govt. plates, ask to see ID and a badge.

A Detroit area man, James Rutherford Mell, puts a 6-FOOT BOA CONSTRICTOR(!) in his mailbox to “play a joke” on his mail-lady. And the “humor” in that is . . .? When she opened the mailbox and–as would be expected–was frightened, the man laughs in his driveway.
HaHaHa . . . so funny. And listen to this loser’s defense:

The snake, which he keeps as a pet, is not poisonous, does not bite and has tiny teeth, so Anderson was not in any danger, he said.
“It will only strike at something that it can actually eat.”

Throw the book at this idiot. Unfortunately, WE must pay for his federal public defender. Just plead guilty, jerk.
We have a theory about grown adults who still have snakes as pets (this guy is 31). Something–or, rather many things–is not right there.

One thing is lost in all the press coverage of the whining Americans who went to Lebanon of their own accord and now want us to pick up the tab to get them out.
THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS IN LEBANON ARE HEZBOLLAH SUPPORTERS.
Most of them are Shi’ite Muslims, many of whom hold dual U.S. and Lebanese citizenship. Many are anchor babies born here to Muslims in the U.S. illegally. Some are illegal aliens who became citizens through rubber-stamping Citizenship and Immigration Services (and its INS predecessor) coupled with political pressure by spineless politicians.
Of the 25,000 American citizens and green-card holders in Lebanon, at least 7,000 are from Dearborn, Michigan, the heart of Islamic America, and especially Shia Islam America. These 7,000 are mostly Shi’ite Muslims who openly and strongly support Hezbollah. Ditto for many of the rest of the 25,000 that are there.

Many of the 7,000 plus Detroiters in Lebanon are active in Dearborn’s Bint Jbeil cultural center (the Lebanese American Heritage Club also features mostly Hezbollah fans). Bint Jbeil is a Hezbollah-dominated city in the South of Lebanon, a frequent destination of Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, who is very at home there. Bint Jbeil is a frequent source of shellings on Northern Israel.
Bint Jbeil natives now living in our country so strongly support Hezbollah that they got Republican Congressman Joe Knollenberg (and his then top staffer, Paul Welday) and then-U.S. Senator Spencer Abraham to give Hezbollah forces in Southern Lebanon about $86 million of our tax money, no strings.
Given this information, and the fact–as I’ve detailed numerous times on this site–that several Shi’ite Muslim Lebanese U.S. citizens from Dearborn have been indicted and/or convicted of laundering money to Hezbollah, is it a good idea to rush to bring 25,000 such persons back to the U.S. at a time when Hezbollah is at war against the strongest U.S. ally? Does the fact, that Hezbollah numerous times–and especially now–has announced veiled and not-so-veiled intentions to attack Americans on U.S. soil, necessitate urgently bringing these terror-sympathizing Americans back to U.S. soil? Many are individuals whose activity should have mandated prosecution and jail-time. But they are free because of a spineless a/k/a “Abu Porno,” and equally weak federal law enforcement chiefs of and who pander to them.
These are people who hold U.S. citizenship but support a group that murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and civilians, some through torture; a group that is part of the Al-Qaeda network; a group that trains insurgent terrorists against our troops in Iraq, giving them IEDs to blow our soldiers up; a group that worked with Qaeda to bomb the Khobar Towers. Americans who support this group are not American. They merely possess the proper paperwork.
And they are very dangerous. One of them, –a student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and an officer of the Hezbollah-supporting Arab American PAC–threatened my life and that of my family members because I’ve written about the group’s Detroit-area extremist Hezbollah sympathizers. Hezbollah’s violence has already arrived in America, and we don’t need to pay to transport 25,000 of its sympathizers back to our shores from their chosen vacation destination.
While the government has announced it will charge these individuals for the expensive transport out of Lebanon via Cyprus back to the U.S., the feds say they will accept IOUs for that transport. Think we’ll get the money back? Just ask the Katrina aid administrators.
**** UPDATE, 11:08 p.m.: Even more outrageous, our government has now relented and will not charge these people for exorbitant, tax-paid transport back to the U.S. $3,000 per person on the U.S. taxpayer dime. This is ABSURD! And unprecedented (in other airlifts/evacuations, Americans must pay). Who told them to visit Lebanon? Not us (State Dept. warned against travel to Lebanon). Just Sheikh Nasrallah. Let him and his Iranian/Syrian patrons pay. ****
Do you want your tax dollars to subsidize Hezbollah supporters’ return to America? Are these the kind of U.S. citizens we badly need back in our country at this time?
Should Hezbollah supporters be transported on a ship named for one of the most heroic events in U.S. history, the U.S.S Iwo Jima? Should U.S. tax dollars fund the charter of commercial ships to transport the rest of these terror-sympathizers?
The instant answer from all freedom-loving Americans to these questions should be a loud “NO.”
These people went to Hezbollah-dominated Lebanon of their own accord. And they were safe there because they support the terrorist group. Now, their fortune has changed. Tough.
It is not the responsibility of U.S. taxpayers to rescue terrorist-supporters who voluntarily went to a dangerous area . . . just because their whines are loud and annoying.
We are picking up the tab for this unfortunate rescue. U.S. funds used to rescue terrorist-sympathizers–YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK.
So, is America too slow to get these undesirable U.S. citizens out of Lebanon? On the contrary, not slow enough.
