Is it any surprise () that someone (probably a Muslim) just bombed the Baltimore Hebrew University? It shouldn’t be.
It just so happens to be located next to a burgeoning Muslim neighborhood filled with extremists and their mosques.
In 2003, a . And yet, clueless federal authorities said they had no reason to believe that a) anything was amiss; or that b) the Muslims were targeting Jews by sneaking into Jewish institutions and secretly videotaping them.
Get a clue, people. Take your heads out of the sand. Wake up, America!
And by the way, why bomb a Jewish establishment, today? Maybe it’s because many Jews around the world, like me, are fasting today. It’s Tisha B’Av–a Jewish fast day. No food or liquid (incl. water) for 25 hours.
What follows is the about the Muslims casing the Jewish joints of Baltimore (it only mentions the womens’ school, but other Jewish locations were cased and videotaped by the Muslim couple, too).

Why were an Islamic Saudi man and his American Muslim-convert wife secretly videotaping a Jewish school in Baltimore? And why did they send the footage back home to Saudi Arabia?
Gee, maybe they wanted to convert to Judaism and start a Jewish girls’ school in the Kingdom of Saud. Fat chance.
A reader sent us this frightening Boston Globe story from late 2003, which is still relevant and frightening today:

The Saudi man, who came to the United States on a student visa four years ago, and his wife were seen videotaping an Orthodox school for girls, Beit Yakov, on Oct. 26 and fled after witnesses wrote down their automobile’s license plate number, officials said. Law enforcement officials were contacted and later interviewed the couple, who said the video was intended for the man’s parents in Saudi Arabia.
The couple has not been charged, and law enforcement officials have declined to identify them.
Federal and local law enforcement officials emphasized that they have not uncovered any reason to believe the couple was casing the school.

Hmmm . . . . Maybe they were looking for a soda machine . . . or doing an “architectural study.”
We’re less concerned that the feds won’t release the names of the videographer Muslims who’ve taken a sudden interest in Judaism. We’re more interested in getting the names of the feds.The feds referred to in the story are Homeland Security and FBI personnel. Which begs the question: Does one need a negative IQ to get hired by either of them? A Muslim couple surreptitiously videotapes a Jewish school and sends the tape back to “philo-Semitic” Saudi Arabia. And the feds have “not uncovered any reason to believe the couple was casing the school.”
Remind us NOT to hire them as my security consultants. And, oh yeah, they let the videotape go, too.

[A]uthorities reported that the man and his wife, a Muslim convert, were not initially asked for a copy of the tape by local authorities because they had no legal grounds to seize it. But he said officials at the US Embassy in Saudi Arabia are trying to help the FBI recover it as part of the investigation.

[DS: We’re sure that effort will be really successful. Not.]

“The tape that he had used ended up not being seen by local authorities,” [Baltimore Jewish Community Council Executive Director Arthur C.] Abramson said. “It ended up in Saudi Arabia.” He added that officials said the Saudi end of the investigation has been delayed somewhat, in part because American officials there have been focused on the aftermath of recent terrorist attacks on a housing complex in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

Jewish schools (and Christian ones, too) all around America need to be on the alert. The feds certainly aren’t doing it for them.

Well, yesterday, half the op-ed page went to a silly article by George E. Bisharat, a professor at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. The absurd headline:

“Did Israel Really Need to Savage the Beauty of Beirut?”

Terrorists from his precious Beirut are murdering innocent people in his precious Beirut and in Israel (and they already murdered over 241 U.S. Marines and civilians). And he’s worried about the “Beauty of Beirut”?!
It figures that he’s a law professor in come-out-of-the-closet-land. Because only a girlie-man would be concerned about “beauty” when an ugly terrorist group is killing innocent people.

Bisharat’s silly article–an excuse to bash Israel and do the work of Al-Manar (Hezbo TV Network)–speaks of the “breathtaking” Bekaa Valley–the same “breathtaking Bekaa Valley in which his precious Hezbollah grows one of the worlds largest crops of pot and coke. (And of course, predictably, USA Today had no pro-Israel op-ed to “balance” things out.)
Here are a few questions in response to his dumb one:

While we constantly hear about American flag-burning (which we find highly offensive and disgusting), we hear a lot less about something that’s also offensive: snooty condo and homeowner associations that ban display of the flag.
Now, that issue has been addressed (to very little press notice). Last week, President Bush signed into law the Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005, a law that bars condominium and homeowner associations from restricting how the American flag can be displayed.
We congratulate Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) for sponsoring the bill that allows residents to display the flag on their own property without interference from anti-Patriots and snoots who care more about the view of green lawns and McMansions than the freedoms that allowed them to acquire them.
More on the new law here. Don’t let your neighbors unlawfully harass you for your proud display of the flag.

Question: What’s the fastest growing religion in Ireland?
Answer: No, not Catholicism. Not the Protestant Church. Nope. It’s Islam.
So, does that have anything to do with last week’s obnoxious, anti-American jury decision? Perhaps.
Regardless, last week, a Dublin jury acquitted five protesters who admitted–yes, admitted!–using hammers and an ax to attack a U.S. Navy cargo plane at Shannon Airport in February 2003. They claimed they committed the $2.5 million worth of damage to the cargo plane so they could “save lives in Iraq.”

The O.J.-style jury acquitted these five anti-American vandalous criminals after a 12-day trial. But, it gets worse. This was the third Irish O.J.-style jury in the case. Two previous juries were deadlocked in two previous trials of these thugs.
And here’s a clue: The Navy cargo plane, a Boeing 737, was carrying spare parts from Texas to an air base on Sicily, Italy–NOT Iraq.
And frequent Islamofascist ally, the IRA, chimed in by hailing this absurd decision:

Sinn Fein, the political arm of the Irish Republican Army, said vandalising US aircraft was “a justified response to Irish complicity in the illegal occupation of Iraq and use of Irish facilities as a pit stop for US warplanes.”

Thanks, Ireland. Where’s St. Patrick when we need him? Apparently, he missed a few snakes.

DEARBORNISTAN, USA–To all those who had any doubt where the loyalty of Shia Muslims in America is, take the comments of Hayat Taleb–at yesterday’s latest pro-Hezbollah rally to heart.
Taleb, aged 24, who grew up here, lives in Dearbornistan, and is a mother of two U.S. citizens she is raising to share her beliefs said this to The Detroit Spews:

“I’d rather die there [Lebanon] than live here [America].”

So, why are you still here, Hayat? What are you waiting for? Get the heck out. Perhaps we should chip in for a 1-way ticket. And a couple of tix for her two young America-haters in training, too.
Also, check out this barely visible sign from yesterday’s rally. It features the name “Bush” and a picture of the American flag in the shape of a Jewish star. Hmmm . . . they’re not anti-Semitic, are they?! Memo to Neil Cavuto.

Oh, and by the way, Neil, you might want to check out some of those Hezbollah planning and financing sessions going on at restaurants, like Adonis and others all over Dearbornistan and up and down Warren Ave., where yesterday’s Hezbollah rally took place.

During my doubted that Muslims in America actually want to attack Jews (and Christians) and send death threats. Is this really rocket science?

You are wrong–I have plenty of soles. I happen to like shoes. As for wearing a hijab, what’s the problem? Don’t you want all women to be modest? One of the most abused claims made by immigration lawyers to keep their illegal alien clients in the U.S. is a petition for asylum. Now, there is a list of immigration judges who don’t fall for it.
And Judge Mahlon Hanson of Miami topped the list, rejecting 96.7% of the 1,118 claims for asylum before him. That’s our kind of judge. This comes from a report done by the Transaction Records Access Clearinghouse. Here’s the data, by judge, from 2000-2005.
We note that a Detroit immigration judge we like, Elizabeth A. Hacker–one of our –was also high up the list, rejecting 81.9 percent of the 767 Asylum requests before her. Glad to hear it. In the heart of Islamic America, we need tough judges to turn away phony requests for asylum. She also ruled against Islamic terrorist , for which we are thankful.
Foreigners who don’t qualify for U.S. citizenship–especially those on the verge of being deported, and who should be long gone–often claim that they have to stay here because they will be tortured, abused, or persecuted, if they’re deported. It’s a claim often used by Islamic terrorists, like (who tried unsuccesfully to claim this), and other undesirable Muslims from Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority (like by sleazy lawyer to terrorists, ).
In 2005, the U.S. granted asylum to 13,520 people seeking it. It’s a good bet that many of them did not deserve it.
We’re glad to see that judges like Mahlon Hanson exist and wish there were more. Unfortunately, there are also immigration judges like New York Judge Margaret McManus, who rejected only 9.8% of 1,638 cases before her. That means she let almost 1,500 of these aliens in. Sucker.
Fortunately, the median rate of rejection by all judges working for the Federal Executive Office of Immigration Review was 65%. But that’s not high enough. That means more than one out of every three persons seeking asylum got it, a pretty good set of odds for someone here illegally and seeking to stay after he/she has been caught.
