Since we know that Muslims throughout the world–including and especially in the Palestinian realm–often recruit children (including mentally retarded ones) to become homicide bombers; and since we know they teach kids as young as age three in school and on kids’ television programs to become martyrs, I’m not sure why this is a surprise. It’s not like they don’t train kids to kill and engage in terrorist attacks, every single day, all over the Islamic world, including Sudan, the Palestinian Authority, Hezbo-dominated Lebanon, etc.
But today’s USA Today has an inside-front page piece on an Al-Qaeda training video, in which young boys are taught to kidnap and assassinate on behalf of the terrorist group:

A video that shows young boys being trained in kidnapping and assassination was discovered during a raid on an al-Qaeda safe house in Iraq, the U.S. military said Tuesday.
The video shows about 20 boys wearing ski masks and carrying pistols, assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenade launchers. In some cases the weapons appear to dwarf the youngsters carrying them.
Excerpts, which were viewed by USA TODAY, appear to show the boys running through training exercises under the supervision of trainers, said Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, spokesman for the coalition command in Iraq. Portions of the video, the content of which could not be independently verified, will be released publicly today.
An analysis of the video provided by the U.S. command in Baghdad said the boys were proclaiming allegiance to al-Qaeda.
The tape was found among other al-Qaeda material uncovered during a raid north of Baghdad on Dec. 4, Smith said.
Smith said the video was being released to illustrate al-Qaeda’s increasing willingness to use women and children to carry out its objectives.
“That is a disturbing trend that obviously shows the desperation that al-Qaeda is currently going through to use whatever means possible to achieve its ends,” Smith said. “It knows no bounds.” . . .
A teenager was used in a suicide attack in Anbar province, west of Baghdad, last month. . . .
The video was captured during a raid targeting an al-Qaeda leader in the town of Khan Bani Saad.
A date stamp on the video indicates it was taken last summer. . . .
A U.S. military description of the video provided by Smith said one of the trainers spoke with an Iraqi accent.
The written description said a narrator at one point spoke with an Egyptian accent.
It is not clear who the boys are or how they were brought into the training.

It’s pretty clear to me. One word: Islam.

**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE: Top Ten Moments of Bobby Knight ****
While many sports columnists and commentators liked to vilify college basketball coach Bobby Knight over the years, I was not one of them. I always like Knight, despite his legendary temper. Regardless of his temperament, he was the last of something that is no longer present in college and pro athletics–values for hard work and no tolerance for bad behavior. In today’s win at all cost, dollar is the be-all/end-all, Bobby Knight was different. Athletes that committed crimes were dumped. Their behavior was not tolerated. And his players actually graduated from college . . . legitimately and fully literate.
And Bobby Knight and I agreed on many things. More of why I like and will miss Bobby Knight, from my March 2001 column, “The Real ‘March Madness’“:

Unlike most college sports coaches, Knight instills discipline in his players. And he’s paying for it, every step of the way. Not only did Indiana fire him, but Tech’s high and mighty faculty opposes him, too. While Knight might’ve been slightly overly exuberant in discipline methods at Indiana, it’s important that he did, indeed, discipline his players — something that happens far too infrequently in college sports, today. Knight’s athletes never committed crimes. The one — just one — who did, Sherron Wilkerson, accused of beating his girlfriend, was immediately off the team. And virtually all of Knight’s athletes graduated — rare in big-time college sports.
On the other hand, there are coaches, like Tom Osborne, now a Republican Congressman, who allowed criminal after criminal on his University of Nebraska football team. His athletes almost literally got away with murder — or at least, attempted murder. But, unduly revered as some sort of deity by Nebraskans and Nebraska’s faculty, as well as the local press, you’d never hear an unkind word about him. And if you did — as I found out last year — the author (in this case, me) would be attacked with hate mail from Osborne’s blind followers. There were never any anti-Osborne petitions from Nebraska’s faculty.
Maybe because they were impressed by his Ph.D. But probably because, despite claiming to be a conservative, Osborne treated the many criminal players on his team, like convicted thugs Lawrence Phillips and Christian Peter, the way Ted Kennedy liberals treat criminals — giving them chance after chance without punishment and shamelessly attacking their victims in the press.
Never any petitions against the win-at-all-costs, anti-discipline coach, Osborne, by professors. Just against Bobby Knight, who — against his own interests to win — was the exact opposite.
Nor have intellectual elitists ever signed petitions regarding student athletes, like Osborne’s, who’ve committed crimes and have been allowed to return to play on the field or court. Or student athletes who took ridiculously easy courses to graduate, yet didn’t know even the basics about anything.
That’s because many college professors buy into the liberal mentality of allowing college athletes, despite criminal proclivities, free passes through academic life because many are from the black underclass, even though most would hardly qualify to graduate high school. And academics hate conservative, disciplinarian coaches who actually believe athletes are responsible for their actions. . . .
Wall Street Journal’s sports columnist Frederick C. Klein noted that, during his attendance at an academic conference on the evils of college sports, professors pontificated that athletes’ crimes and academic failings were no fault of their own — but that of their youth, bad upbringings and “the adults who manipulated them.”
Those professors who do demand even the very minimum in academic performance from college athletes are shunned. . . .
But Knight has the last laugh. Despite elitist professors’ protests, he was hired. Now they will have to put up with Knight’s demands of crime-free and graduation-prone athletes.
The nerve of that man.

Bobby Knight, you have retired. And so, sadly, have your values from the realm of college sports.
And America is worse off for it.
Let’s hope Bobby Knight’s son, who replaces him, has those good, old-fashioned Bobby Knight values.

You’ve no doubt heard of that tiny little attraction of the coast of San Francisco known as Alcatraz. It’s only the second most popular paid tourist attraction in San Fran, with 1.4 million visitors a year. (The most popular is the Liberace/Mike Brady Memorial Bath House/Disco/Laundromat. No, actually, the cable cars are number one).
But some lefties (is there any other sort of person in San Fran?) think that Alcatraz should be scrapped as a successful tourist attraction and made into . . . an international peace center?! HUH?

The proposal is on the loony San Fran Super Tuesday ballot today. No surprise, as the unofficial motto of Frisco is no longer, “Home of Rice-a-Roni.” Now, it’s: If it ain’t broke, “fix” it. Gives new meaning to the movie title, “Escape from Alcatraz,” and not in a good way. Those proposing this idea claim that a global peace center on Alcatraz would draw even more tourists than the former prison. Um, maybe a mental institution is more appropriate for the island . . . to house these delusionally afflicted.
A better idea: Make Alcatraz a prison for international peace activists. That combines the best of both ideas. Better yet, make it a prison for international peace activists and Gitmo detainees to battle it out for positions as martyrs for Allah. Then, it would make an even more spectacular tourist attraction. And libs would finally get their wish of closing Gitmo.

Here is the link to the Israeli news report showing the heroic Israeli Police Superintendent Kobi Mor, shooting to death the second homicide bomber as he tries to detonate himself, yesterday, at the homicide bombing in Dimona, Israel. I can’t post the video here, b/c the embedding code is disabled. But click over. That’s how it’s done. Kill ’em dead before they kill more of you. No mercy.
Then, there is this video, which is even more important. Remember the ugly Palestinian (redundant adjectives) woman who handed out candy on 9/11 to the rest of her celebrating countrymen as they cheered on the murder of 3,000 Americans by Muslims? This one is reminiscent. Taken yesterday, this video shows the Palestinians celebrating, passing out candy and flowers on the streets of the Palestinian Authority. “Religion of Peace”–celebrating the murder of at least two people and the serious maiming of countless others? Take note of the comments by various Palis on how they can’t wait to take over all of Israel:

They talk about the “extermination” of the Jews. Sound familiar? Yup, Hitler talk from the New Nazis. All hail these citizens of Greater Barbaria, with whom President Bush insists Israel make “peace” and entrust with land giveaways parceled out from its ever shrinking borders.
And finally, there is this video from eye-witnesses who were at yesterday’s homicide bombing attack. They saw “legs, a head of a young boy . . . intestines falling out.” Yup, that’s yer “Religion of Peace.”

A few comments:
Most press outlets–including the Wall Street Journal, TWICE today–are claiming this is the first homicide bombing in Israel, this year. That’s bunk. There have been several homicide bombings and regardless of that, many terrorist attacks by Islamic terrorists on Jews in Israel, on an almost-hourly basis in Israel, since the beginning of the year, and every day before that. You just don’t hear about it, b/c it isn’t reported in the Western media. The only “first” that yesterday’s homicide bombing in Dimona constitutes is the first homicide bombing in Dimona this year. Not the first inside Israel. And that is the important distinction here.
Also, it’s important to note that this latest homicide bombing was committed by homicide bombers from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)–FBI/ICE buddy Imad Hamad‘s group–and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Both are groups allied with and controlled by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas–you know, the dude, President Bush told us in the State of the Union, is committed to peace and against terrorism. Uh-huh. Also, as I wrote last year, reports in Israeli newspaper HaZofe say that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade is now controlled by Hezbollah in Israel. But PFLP is pure Fatah–Prez Abbas’ group.
The pics in most newspapers, like today’s Detroit Newsistan, show the weepy ugly mommy of suicide bomber Mousa Arafat. But a picture speaks louder than headlines. Most people don’t read the stories. All they see is what I see in today’s Detroit Newsistan coverage, a crying Palestinian woman holding pics of her son and the word “Israel.” You get the point. Yet, when Israel bombs terrorist leaders, we again see photos of wailing Pali mothers. There is never any fair treatment in the photo editing of these papers. It’s pure propaganda.
Finally, it’s known that thse homicide bombers are from Gaza and came to Israel by sneaking through impotent Egypt’s porous border, 35 miles from Dimona. Thanks, Ariel Sharon, your giving them Gaza really achieved peace . . . pieces of bodies.

Who cares about slave labor and lack of human rights in Communist China, when animal rights are so much more important there?
PETA a/k/a PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) is upset that China doesn’t treat rats nicely. The Year of the Rat is about to begin, and the PUTAh fanatics don’t realize that in China, the motto is: “Rats. It’s What’s For Dinner.”
PUTAh is asking China to treat rats with kindness and respect. Says Coco Yu of PETA’s Asia-Pacific brnach:

Rats sing, they dream, and they express empathy for others.

Rats singing and dreaming? Um, Coco, “Ratatouille” was JUST A MOVIE. It’s fiction.

Now, that all-important Jeff Spicoli demographic is sewn up. Sorry, Hillary, looks like Bill and Ted have an excellent adventure in mind for a different candidate.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) bars gay men from donating blood. It’s not about discrimination–as the agency also bars non-gay persons who also are at risk for fatal diseases and viruses. It’s about protecting the blood supply from AIDS and protecting Americans’ health.
The fact is that AIDS tests are not always certain. The disease can show up in the infected up to ten years after the fact. Not accepting blood donations from gay men is an important safety precaution. And unlike the warnings they gave us in the ’80s, we never saw the explosion of AIDS in the general population–just in the gay male and intravenous drug user population.
But common sense and safety precautions are not a good thing in the mind of San Jose State University President Don Kassing. He says this violate SJSU’s non-discrimination policy. So, how is he responding? Well, the numbskull with a Ph.D. is banning ALL blood drives on campus. This, at a time when American blood donations are low and hospitals are running short.

I wish some daring students at SJSU would flout the policy and hold a blood drive, because I can’t believe this policy is Constitutional. SJSU receives a great deal of federal funds, including federal student loans and grants, and it cannot flout FDA policy, nor can it ban students from freedom of association and assembly in holding a blood drive. If SJSU’s president Kassing’s fatwa is challenged in court, I doubt it will pass Constitutional muster. Discrimination–as in this case–is lawful, where there are legitimate national security and/or safety concerns, as there are with the blood supply.
Would you take blood from anonymous donors, if you knew it could come from a gay male who might have undetected AIDS? Hello . . . ?:

San Jose State University President Don Kassing said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s position conflicts with the school’s policy prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation.
A campus employee brought the matter to Kassing’s attention last year, and school officials gathered information and spoke with the FDA before Kassing decided to discontinue on-campus blood drives until he is satisfied the agency reevaluates its stand, he said.
“I recognize the importance of giving blood and we know that universities are a significant source of blood,” Kassing wrote in an e-mail sent Tuesday to faculty, staff, students and alumni. “Our hope is that the FDA will revisit its deferral policy in a timely manner and we may soon be able to hold blood drives on this campus again.” . . .
People with past histories of intravenous drug use, prostitution, hemophilia, hepatitis or certain heart and lung diseases are subject to the same lifetime ban on giving, according to the FDA. Individuals are ruled out when they fill out a questionnaire that asks about medical histories and past behaviors.
People who have been treated for cancer, women who have sex with bisexual men and travelers who may have been exposed to the human form of mad cow disease by spending three months or more in the United Kingdom between 1980 and 1996 also are generally disqualified for periods ranging from one to five years.
“The persons who are deferred, this is not based at all upon judgment of their behaviors themselves. They are simply based on the mathematical model of risk,” said FDA spokeswoman Peper Long.

This is ridiculous. The SJSU policy will not get the FDA to change its sound policy barring all of those who contribute a high risk of potentially-fatal virus to the blood supply.
And it has a significant impact in the long-term:

Local blood banks say that position comes at a steep cost.
Blood drives on the San Jose campus bring in an estimated 1,000 pints a year, estimates Michele Hyndman of the Stanford Blood Center. In general, she said high school and college campuses account for about 20 percent of all donated blood.
Hyndman argues the effects of the ban go further, however, since many students who first give blood in campus drives go on to become lifelong donors.
Lisa Bloch, spokeswoman for San Francisco-based Blood Centers of the Pacific, agreed, calling Kassman’s decision “irresponsible.”

As I’ve said repeatedly on this site and elsewhere, PETA a/k/a PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) has won. The animal rights freaks are still crusading, but they’ve already gotten Americans to spend billions on silly things like aromatherapy and blueberry facials for their pets. They’ve gotten dogs semi-human legal status in divorce settlements and wills.
And, most important, they convinced a federal judge to tell the United States Navy, yesterday, that whales are more important than maritime national security. This time, it isn’t PUTAh, it’s their buddies at the Natural Resources Defense Council. Same diff.
Now, the Navy cannot conduct practice exercises of the coast of California–important missions to train for detecting hostile watercraft from enemies like Iran, North Korea, Al-Qaeda, etc.

And if I were a terrorist planning to approach the U.S. by sea–and we know from FBI alerts, Al-Qaeda is, indeed, investing in scuba gear–I’d make sure I’m swimming and stowing my amphibious gear and dingy in the path of the whales:

A federal judge in Los Angeles on Monday rejected the Bush administration’s attempt to exempt Navy sonar training from key environmental laws, saying that there’s no real emergency to justify overruling court-ordered protections for whales and dolphins.
U.S. District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper [DS: A Clinton appointee] also suggested that President Bush’s effort to maneuver around an earlier federal court order was “constitutionally suspect,” although she made no ruling on that issue.
The 36-page order means the Navy will have to follow Cooper’s previous injunction forbidding the use of powerful submarine-detecting sonar in areas where whales are abundant, such as within 12 nautical miles of the coast and between Santa Catalina and San Clemente islands.
That January order also will require the Navy to shut down sonar when whales or other marine mammals are spotted within 2,200 yards of vessels or under certain sea conditions that allow the sonic blasts to travel farther than usual. This type of sonar has been linked to mass deaths of whales in the Bahamas, the Canary Islands and elsewhere, although never off Southern California. . . .
“I don’t know what it’s going to take for the Navy to get it,” Douglas said. “The courts have said over and over that the Navy must follow the law.”
The Navy maintains that the lives of its sailors depend on being properly trained to detect vessels operated by China, Iran, North Korea and other potentially hostile nations.
“The Navy’s current ’emergency’ is simply a creature of its own making, i.e., its failure to prepare adequate environmental documentation in a timely fashion,” [Judge] Cooper wrote.
Joel Reynolds, a senior attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council, applauded the ruling.

The judge says there’s “no real emergency” justifying the use of sonar to detect terrorists. I just love when judges think they are national security experts (another example is Detroit-area Federal Judge Gerald Rosen).
Hmmm . . . If I’m Bin Laden, I’m telling my guys to take a water route within 12 nautical miles of the coast and between Santa Catalina and San Clemente islands, where whales are in abundance and U.S. Navy sonar won’t be.

One of the reasons I was disappointed in Newt Gingrich and the House Republican “revolutionaries” of 1994 was that they didn’t do most of the important things they set out to do–whether in the Contract with America or not. One of those things was abolishing PBS. They had it in their grasp, but they didn’t have the guts to seal the deal. Now, we must live with–and you must continue to tax-fund–the consequences.
I typically refer to PBS a/k/a Public Broadcasting Service by more appropriate nomenclature, such as “People’s Broadcasting System” or “Palestinian Broadcasting System.”
Now, though, I think the general “Pan-Islamist Bull-S**t” is vastly more appropos.
Tonight, in honor of Black History Month, PBS presents to you, “Prince Among Slaves,” the much-embellished/vastly unverified story of “Abdul Rahman,” a Black slave who was allegedly a Muslim and an African prince. The story of Abdul Rahman is questionable and is propaganda that CAIR–the Saudi/UAE-funded Council on American-Islamic Relations–and other Islamic groups have been bandying about for years.

And this “documentary” is no exception. It is co-executive produced by Michael Wolfe, who produced PBS’ previous CAIR-orchestrated “Mohammed” special. In addition, those consulted for this docu-fakery include: Hamza Yusuf Hanson and Zaid Shakir, Islamic scholars at the Zaytuna Institute. FYI, Hamza Yusuf called the Jews a “racist little tribe,” and warned on the Sunday before 9/11 that America had a great disaster from Allah coming. He’s tied to Al-Qaeda and his mosque brought Ayman Al-Zawahiri to the U.S. twice to raise money for the terrorist group. The Zaytuna Institute is equally extremist.
(And you are paying for this twice–not just through PBS, but through the National Endowment for the Humanities, which underwrote this entire baloney production. Although Republicans tried to cut NEH funding, the Bushes–Georgie and hijab-donning Laura–opposed that, raising more money for it.)
CAIR and company claim that “Abdul Rahman” was a Muslim and represents many of Black slaves in America–that most of them were Muslims who were oppressed by the evil Christian White man in America. It’s a lot of baloney. And we all know what this propaganda is really about.
Blacks are treated horribly by Islam. They are referred to as “Abed” or the plural, “Abeed”–slave or slaves. They are treated as trash. We all know and see how Blacks are treated throughout the Gulf–where they are slaves and in Saudi Arabia are routinely executed for nothing. We’ve all seen how Blacks are treated by Arab Muslims in Sudan–where, for decades, they’ve been gang-raped, tortured, and murdered en masse.
This “Black slaves were Muslim” crap is an attempt to cover that up, and make us overlook the way Blacks around the world are treated by Muslims and other Arabs. And it’s an attempt to hide from us the real story of slavery: That Arab Muslim traders captured, kidnapped, and sold many Blacks into slavery throughout the world. That Muslim countries are the places, today, where slavery of Blacks continues, while it is unacceptable throughout the rest of the world.
And if “Abdul Rahman” was actually a Muslim, he was unlikely to have been a prince of any kind. In fact, any Black Muslim slave in America at that time was likely only Muslim because he or his ancestors were forcibly converted by White Arab Muslims, then shipped and ultimately sold to slavemasters in the New World.
That’s the real story about Islam and Black slaves in America in the 1700s and 1800s. But you won’t hear it on PBS, where Pan-Islamist BS is the order of the day, of the week, of the month, of the year, of the last four decades. This so-called “documentary” is largely re-enactments that are highly speculative in nature. Sorry, but that’s not documentary. That’s fiction.
Supervisory producer and re-enactment director Bill Duke says:

Too many people continue to be enslaved by poverty, drugs and bad decisions. But like Abdul Rahman, they can come out of it and regain their dignity and respect.

Get it? The evil American White man caused today’s poverty, drugs, and poor plight of Black America. But if you’re a Muslim, then you can survive, “regain [your] dignity and respect.” Uh-huh. Go tell it to the Blacks of Sudan and elsewhere in Africa and the Mid-East.
FYI, to impress their baloney point upon the two 69-year-old cat-lady spinsters who still watch this boring waste of broadcast airwaves, the “Prince Among Slaves” special is narrated by Mos Def, a Black rapper who is a Muslim.
Good luck understanding it, since Mos Def speaks Mumblish and you can barely understand a thing he says.
Also, FYI, it figures that this “history” fake-umentary was written and directed by Andrea Kalin. Judging from her surname, she is likely one of my fellow co-religionists. It figures. Sadly, liberal Jews–who’ve dumped their religion and replaced it with self-hatred and worship at the alter of Hillary, Barack, and Ben & Jerry–are among the biggest enablers of the so-called “Religion of Peace.”
And so it continues, tonight on Pan-Islamist BS, your tax-funded, little-watched Jazeera sister-network.
Remember, the only place Islam has in Black History is as a subjugator and oppressor of Blacks worldwide. If ever there was “the man” who kept them down, Islam was–and continues to be–it.

Ever since 9/11, there have been many reports of stolen trucks carrying explosives, hazardous chemicals, and others–like Schwan’s Ice Cream trucks, which have more room in and around their engines to pack explosives. The Schwan’s trucks were the subject of an FBI bulletin sent to the Michigan State Police and other law enforcement authorities.
None of these missing trucks have ever been found. And the FBI and DHS haven’t made it a priority to find them or take precautions.
Now, a trailer carrying Detroit Pistons fireworks and explosives “that easily could blow off body parts” is missing. Yet, it’s only the subject of a local police investigation focusing on stolen property.

Where is Famous But Incompetent? Too busy, breaking pita with Detroit-area Muslims at La Shish, Hezbollah’s fave eats. I mean, no biggie that these explosives could blow people up and that they were stolen in the heart of Islamic America, right?:

Someone in metro Detroit is hauling a stolen trailer carrying about $70,000 worth of explosives meant to pump up the crowd before Pistons games.
Employees of Band-Ayd Systems International Inc., which provides for five years has provided the flames and flash that kick off home games, discovered the trailer was missing about 8 a.m. Sunday.
Loaded inside were dragons – the devices that shoot flames skyward during the starting line-up’s introductions – and concussive explosions that easily could blow off body parts.
“My fear is they stole it for scrap,” said Nino De Benedetti, Band-Ayd’s president. “And when open it and find it’s this monstrous thing, they‚Äôll just start cutting into it.”
That, he said, could be deadly.

That’s not my fear. I would not be surprised if it was stolen for the explosives inside. And that should be federal law enforcement’s concern. Sadly, it appears it is not.
