“21”: Best Movie of the Year, So Far

By Debbie Schlussel
I’m prohibited from reviewing “21” until it comes out at the end of the month. But it’s simply the best movie I’ve seen, so far, this year.

21.jpg

It’s based on the true story of MIT students who won big money at Vegas casinos by counting cards at the blackjack tables. Even if you don’t like gambling, you will like this. It stars Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne, Jim Sturgess (the lead), and Kate Bosworth. Here’s the trailer:

Stay tuned for my complete review when the movie debuts in theaters.

The Obama “Race Speech” Did Nothin’ For Me, How ‘Bout You?

By Debbie Schlussel
Readers are asking me why I haven’t commented on the race speech” delivered by Barack Hussein Obama, this morning (video here). Well, because he didn’t say anything that really addressed or assuaged me or anyone with any reason on his historically racist pastor. He basically said nothing.
But here’s what he did say:
* On Rev. Jeremiah “Shabbos” Wright’s views:

A profoundly distorted view of this country – a view that sees white racism as endemic and that elevates what is wrong with America above all that we know is right with America.

obigot.jpg

Obigot by Reader Tom of Hawaii

Well, Duh. We already knew that. What he didn’t say is why he sat by for those views for years, even though he admitted to the New York Times and others that he knew about it. Hello . . .? That’s the issue. Unaddressed. Can’t be addressed.
* He claims that we are distorting Wright’s comments (How can you distort the statement, “G-d Damn America!”? I’m not sure.) And he gives what I call the Hezbollah/HAMAS/Hitler excuse–that Wright is okay because, hey, he helps the poor. B-F-D:

Caricatures being peddled by some commentators [distort Wright’s appeal]. The man I met more than 20 years ago is a man who helped introduce me to my Christian faith, a man who spoke to me about our obligations to love one another, to care for the sick and lift up the poor . . . . [Wright] is a man who served his country as a U.S. Marine . . . and who for over 30 years led a church that serves the community by doing G-d’s work on Earth by housing the homeless, ministering to the needy.

Um, attacking Jews, Whites, America, etc., and defending Cuba, Palestinian terrorists, and Muslim 9/11 hijackers is NOT G-d’s work. Sorry. Never was. Never will be.
* MOST IMPORTANT PART: Obama refused to disown Rev. David Duke, er . . . Grand Wizard Wright. This should disqualify him from the White House, PERIOD:

I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother–a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street. . . . These people are a part of me. And they are a part of America, this country that I love.

This is a giant, “F-U, America.” Please take note of it.

obamajeremiahwright.jpg

I beg of you, my fellow Michigan readers, to vote in the Michigan mail-in revote for the Democratic primary and vote for Cankles. As I said, I will. Even Hillary, is not as scary as this man. She’s scary, but he’s far more so.
The bottom line is that he knew of Rev. Wright’s racism, he went along with it, and even now that he’s been caught, he won’t disown him.

The Lies Called “Letters to the Editor”

By Debbie Schlussel
I rarely read the “Letters to the Editor” in Detroit’s two major newspapers. When it comes to The Detroit Newsistan, I skip its editorial page and op-ed pages altogether. Other than birdcage liner, those pages have become the spouting platforms for Islamists, including a Hezbollah agent and former Khomeini official.
But the Wall Street Journal, well that’s a different story. I try to read the paper’s “Letters to the Editor,” every day because the letters are well-written, often share important information, and are as enlightening as the editorial content of the paper. And important people read them.
But there are exceptions. Yesterday, a propaganda letter by pro-Palestinian ignoramus Ed Kendall of Eastover, South Carolina, unfortunately got through editors and made its way onto the page with this enormously false statement:

Almost all the Arab radical organizations we now face: Hamas, Hezbollah, etc., got their start struggling for justice for the Palestinians. This fight has been the major generator of extremism in the Middle East. It’s vital to our self-interest that America be evenhanded in the Arab-Israeli conflict; this would do more for us in this critical and unstable region than anything else.
Ed Kendall
Eastover, S.C.

hezbollah4.jpgploemblem.jpg

The Truth:

In Lebanon, Hezbollah Fought Against and Replaced Yesterday’s P.L.O.

But this statement is patently false because, as I’ve noted on this site extensively, Hezbollah was founded well before Israel was ever in Lebanon, and it was founded not by Sunni Palestinians, but by Shi’ite Muslims who were oppressed by Palestinians conquering them, killing their sons, and raping their daughters. While I don’t know whether the Journal will publish my response or publish it in its entirety, here’s the “Letter to the Editor” I wrote, correcting this highly inaccurate information:

To the Editor:
In his March 17th letters to the editor (Letters, March 17), Ed Kendall fallaciously claims that Hezbollah got its “start struggling for justice for the Palestinians.” He could not be more wrong.
On the contrary, Hezbollah, originally known as “The Organization for the Oppressed of the Earth,” was founded in response to Palestinian occupation of Lebanon. At that time–from the mid ’70s until the early ’80s, Palestinians captured and destroyed Shi’ite (and Christian Lebanese) property and killed the sons and raped the daughters of the Shi’ites of Southern Lebanon who are now the nucleus of Hezbollah in Lebanon. South Lebanon–today’s Hezbollah sub-state of Lebanon–was then known as Fatah-land, as the P.L.O. dominated it by force–allied with a brutal leftist Lebanese militia, the Morabeitoun, headed by Ibrahim Kleilat. That is why Hezbollah was founded, not in support of the Palestinians who oppressed Hezbollah’s members.
Much of this was documented in the front-page reporting of New York Times reporter David Shipler, no friend of Israel’s, when he reported on the horrors that Shi’ite Muslims (and Christians) in Lebanon suffered daily and en masse at the hands of the Palestinians who controlled Lebanon from West Beirut to Lebanon’s southern border. Shipler’s July 25, 1982 front-page story, “Lebanese Tell of Anguish of Living Under the P.L.O.,” detailed how Arafat and company nearly established a Palestinian State . . . in Lebanon. And he reported on how the Shi’ite Muslims in the heart of Hezbollah-controlled South Lebanon welcomed the Israelis as liberators from that awful life of terror.
While it is true that Hezbollah’s memory bank has unfortunately been erased of the experience of Israel as its liberator, this quote–among many–from Mr. Shipler’s July 1982 piece says it all:
“Some are still circumspect, afraid the P.L.O. will return after Israel withdraws; others open up in a spirit of relief [about the Israeli liberation].”
Also documenting this, Shi’ite Lebanese Fouad Ajami–a frequent Journal op-ed contributor–wrote at the time in U.S. News and World Report:
“They boarded ships firing in to the air, freeing the Lebanese to embark on a new history of their own. . . . Israel had done for Shi’ites–Lebanon’s largest and most disadvantaged community–what they had been unable to do for themselves. In a chapter now long forgotten, those villages in the southern hinterland had welcomed Israel’s push into Lebanon.”
To assert, as Mr. Kendall does, that Hezbollah was founded by the Palestinians’ then-victims in support of their then-oppressors is to engage in utter myth and revisionism.
Debbie Schlussel
Detroit, Michigan

Oh, and by the way, HAMAS was also founded to oppose Fatah/the P.L.O., not to help fight in favor of the Palestinians per se.
Please read my extensive column on Palestinian aggression in Lebanon and why Hezbollah was founded–against the Palestinians, not in support of them.

The Audacity of a Black Man Exposing Obama

By Debbie Schlussel
When we criticize and expose Barack Hussein Obama, we’re called “racists.” But when a Black intellectual does it, he’s probably called an “Uncle Tom.”
Regardless, in today’s Wall Street Journal, the great American thinker, Shelby Steele (who happens to be Black), has the guts to say what others will not. Here is part of it, but you must read the whole thing, which is solid gold. He writes of “bargainers” (Obama) versus “challengers” (Jackson and Sharpton):

Race helps Mr. Obama in another way — it lifts his political campaign to the level of allegory, making it the stuff of a far higher drama than budget deficits and education reform. His dark skin, with its powerful evocations of America’s tortured racial past, frames the political contest as a morality play. . . .

shelbysteele.jpgbarackobama.jpg

Shelby Steele Calls Out B Hussein O

Because he is black, there is a sense that profound questions stand to be resolved in the unfolding of his political destiny. And, as the Clintons have discovered, it is hard in the real world to run against a candidate of destiny. For many Americans — black and white — Barack Obama is simply too good (and too rare) an opportunity to pass up. For whites, here is the opportunity to document their deliverance from the shames of their forbearers. And for blacks, here is the chance to document the end of inferiority. So the Clintons have found themselves running more against America’s very highest possibilities than against a man. And the press, normally happy to dispel every political pretension, has all but quivered before Mr. Obama. They, too, have feared being on the wrong side of destiny.
And yet, in the end, Barack Obama’s candidacy is not qualitatively different from Al Sharpton’s or Jesse Jackson’s. Like these more irascible of his forbearers, Mr. Obama’s run at the presidency is based more on the manipulation of white guilt than on substance. Messrs. Sharpton and Jackson were “challengers,” not bargainers. They intimidated whites and demanded, in the name of historical justice, that they be brought forward. Mr. Obama flatters whites, grants them racial innocence, and hopes to ascend on the back of their gratitude. Two sides of the same coin.
But bargainers have an Achilles heel. They succeed as conduits of white innocence only as long as they are largely invisible as complex human beings. They hope to become icons that can be identified with rather than seen, and their individual complexity gets in the way of this. So bargainers are always laboring to stay invisible. (We don’t know the real politics or convictions of Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan or Oprah Winfrey [DS: Here, I beg to differ with Mr. Steele, as we are well aware of Ms. Winfrey’s uber-left-wing politics, even if they are couches in a colorful glossy magazine and an insipid daytime talk show.], bargainers all.) . . . .
Thus, nothing could be more dangerous to Mr. Obama’s political aspirations than the revelation that he, the son of a white woman, sat Sunday after Sunday — for 20 years — in an Afrocentric, black nationalist church in which his own mother, not to mention other whites, could never feel comfortable. His pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is a challenger who goes far past Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in his anti-American outrage (“G-d damn America”).
How does one “transcend” race in this church? The fact is that Barack Obama has fellow-traveled with a hate-filled, anti-American black nationalism all his adult life, failing to stand and challenge an ideology that would have no place for his own mother. And what portent of presidential judgment is it to have exposed his two daughters for their entire lives to what is, at the very least, a subtext of anti-white vitriol?
What could he have been thinking? Of course he wasn’t thinking. He was driven by insecurity, by a need to “be black” despite his biracial background. And so fellow-traveling with a little race hatred seemed a small price to pay for a more secure racial identity. And anyway, wasn’t this hatred more rhetorical than real?
But now the floodlight of a presidential campaign has trained on this usually hidden corner of contemporary black life: a mindless indulgence in a rhetorical anti-Americanism as a way of bonding and of asserting one’s blackness. Yet Jeremiah Wright, splashed across America’s television screens, has shown us that there is no real difference between rhetorical hatred and real hatred.
No matter his ultimate political fate, there is already enough pathos in Barack Obama to make him a cautionary tale. His public persona thrives on a manipulation of whites (bargaining), and his private sense of racial identity demands both self-betrayal and duplicity.

Amen, Brother!

Everything Old–AND Ugly–Is New Again: America’s Mullet Auto Makes a Comeback

By Debbie Schlussel
America’s national mullet of a car–“business in the front, party in the back”–is making a comeback. And like a mullet, some things shouldn’t make a come back. The El Camino could be one of ’em, depending upon whether odd looks or functionality and truck mileage are your priority.
Yup, possibly the ugliest American car ever made–but with a cult following and certain kitsch–the El Camino is baaaack. No joke. GM–in its dire economic conditions–is for some reason bringing back the half-breed vehicle, half-car/half-truck, from the ’70s.
Old El Camino . . .

elcamino.jpg

New 2010 El Camino . . .
newelcamino2.jpg

newelcamino.jpg

It’s strange that GM would do this because the car was phased out and became less popular in America as gas prices went up. It was guzzler. In addition, the El Camino won’t even be made here. GM is making the Chevy El Camino in Australia, not here. So, the company won’t even benefit from the “Made in America” ethos among patriotic buyers. The El Camino will be a 2010 Pontiac G8-based sport truck, equipped with a 361-horsepower V8 engine, which can haul more than 1,000 pounds. It basically looks like a Pontiac Fiero (which was ugly enough) with a longer trunk, or a very flat low-rider truck.
Again, I’m not sure why anyone–with gas approaching $4 per gallon–would want a V8 engine and a car that has very little passenger room.
I asked my friend, Ray Wert, independent auto industry journalist–he’s like the Matt Drudge (only way better) of cars and gets all the car scoops before everyone else (and his staff does road tests, etc.)–and Editor-in-Chief of the cool car site, Jalopnik, for the mileage of the new El Camino, since I couldn’t find it anywhere. Here’s what he had to say, and he addresses my questions about the gas guzzling:

[The mileage is] unannounced, but if it’s the same as the V8-engined G8 GT, it s car-sized brother, it’s 15 MPG city / 24 MPG highway. That would give it better fuel economy than any truck GM currently makes — also faster than any truck GM currently makes.
It [the mileage] is better than any truck anyone makes. For instance, the Toyota Tundra gets 14 MPG city / 19 MPG highway, the Honda Ridgeline gets 15 MPG city / 20 MPG highway and the Nissan Frontier gets 14 MPG city / 19 MPG highway. Standard trucks use more gas than cars do because they’re heavy, have larger tires and are built on platforms that are not designed for optimal fuel efficiency. The new El Camino is built on a car-based platform and therefore uses less gas than standard pickups.
Many people buy standard pickups and other haulers because they need them. There are also many people who buy them because they don’t need them. The people that don’t need them are rapidly leaving the segment in search for better fuel economy — some may decide to get “in-between” vehicles like the new El Cam. Most will move to cars.

Currently, GM’s Pontiac Web site is holding a contest to name the new El Camino (I guess they don’t want to call an El Camino, “El Camino”). The winner gets a free new “Car Formerly Known As El Camino” encrusted with his/her winning euphemism. One of my friends suggests, “The Sheik Mobile.” My suggestions: “K-Fed’s New Ride,” “Mullet Wheelz,” “Ahmadinejad’s Hearse,” “Non-WNBA Player Ride,” “El Illegal Alien Smuggalino,” and “PimpMobile ’10”. I can see this car becoming the “Hooptee” of choice for Gangsta America.
Jalopnik has more specifics, details, and video about the new El Cam (including details and pics of everything “under the skin” of the new El Camino). And like I said, it’s the go-to site for all the early scoops and details on cars. (Who sez Jews don’t know about cars? That’s right, Ray is one of my peeps.)
Flashback: Jalopnik on the 1975 El Camino.
Here’s a pic of my kind of El Camino. Too bad it’s a toy (from Patto’s Place) . . .

Last But Not Least St. Patrick’s Day Music/Video: Dropkick Murphys

By Debbie Schlussel
Nearly forgot this, but investigator extraordinaire Bill Warner reminds me of this great song from the awesome “The Departed” Soundtrack: “Shipping Off to Boston,” by the Dropkick Murphys.
Says Bill Warner:

My guys for the Irish music is this Dropkick Murphy band and it’s Celtic punk, just love it.
Love this guy, Al Barr of the Dropkick Murphys, his high energy Gallic punk with bag pipes (what a bizarre oxymoron) is infectious, his most famous song, “Shipping up to Boston”–from “https://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2006/10/weekend_box_off_25.htmlThe Departed“– helped make the movie with the band’s background music.

On St. Patrick’s Day, Irish Music My Father Loved

By Debbie Schlussel
**** UPDATE: Check Out More Good Irish Music by Dropkick Murphys Here ****
My late father, H.L. Schlussel MD, loved Irish music. When we (my sisters and brother and I) were little, he would play us music from his collection of “Irish Rovers,””Clancy Brothers,” and “The Chieftains” music.
And while I can’t listen to his collection until the 1-year anniversary of his death (under Jewish law, the year-long mourning period prohibits listening to music among other things), I was looking at some of his old albums, tapes, and CDs. Among them, there are these that you might like if you like Irish music:
* The Clancy Bros. & Tommy Makem–Self-titled (songs include “Paddy Doyle’s Boots”)
* Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem and Their Families–“Irish Folk Airs
* The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem–“Irish Songs of Rebellion
* The Chieftains 9–“Boil the Breakfast Early
* The Chieftains–Self-titled
And my dad had much more. He loved listening to this stuff and took me to see the Irish-Canadian group, “Leahy,” in Canada. I still have the self-titled Leahy cassette he bought me (it was pre-CD).
Here’re a few videos, including this, my favorite, Leahy & The Chieftains–Now, This is Irish Music . . .

B Hussein O Pants on Fire: Stark Evidence that Obama Lied About Rev. Jeremiah “Shabbos” Wright AND Rezko

By Debbie Schlussel
If you’re one of the Pied Piper followers who actually believes Barack Hussein Obama’s lies that he and Michelle Hussein Obama had no idea of the hatred for Jews, America, White people, and even the kitchen sink after over two decades of a tight relationship with this man who married them, perhaps this quote from over a year ago in the New York Times might persuade you otherwise (then again, probably not, since logic never enters into the I Heart Obama equation):

According to the pastor, Mr. Obama then told him, “You can get kind of rough in the sermons, so what we’ve decided is that it’s best for you not to be out there in public.”

obamajeremiahwright.jpg

And there’s this comment from that same article–again from over a year ago–from Obama’s spokesman Bill Burton:

Senator Obama is proud of his pastor and his church, but because of the type of attention it was receiving on blogs and conservative talk shows, he decided to avoid having statements and beliefs being used out of context and forcing the entire church to defend itself.

Hmmm . . . what statements? What beliefs? I thought he just found this stuff out last week, over a year later. Right?
One more time, this is from over a year ago, from March 6, 2007. Obama did not dispute this. It B Hussein O’s pastor saying Obama was well aware of his nuclear-explosion-and-brimstone sermons. And get this, he hates Jews, but then invokes the Yiddish reference to the Jewish Sabbath–“Shabbos” (uh, no thanks, Rev. Wright). And the anti-White stuff was in this article. So, Obama was not aware of this NYTimes article about his own campaign from over a year ago? Hello . . . . :

The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., senior pastor of the popular Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago and spiritual mentor to Senator Barack Obama, thought he knew what he would be doing on Feb. 10, the day of Senator Obama’s presidential announcement.
After all, back in January, Mr. Obama had asked Mr. Wright if he would begin the event by delivering a public invocation.
But Mr. Wright said Mr. Obama called him the night before the Feb. 10 announcement and rescinded the invitation to give the invocation.
“Fifteen minutes before Shabbos I get a call from Barack,” Mr. Wright said in an interview on Monday, recalling that he was at an interfaith conference at the time. “One of his members had talked him into uninviting me,” Mr. Wright said, referring to Mr. Obama’s campaign advisers.
Some black leaders are questioning Mr. Obama’s decision to distance his campaign from Mr. Wright because of the campaign’s apparent fear of criticism over Mr. Wright’s teachings, which some say are overly Afrocentric to the point of excluding whites.

Remember, this article is from over a year ago. Obama knew then. And he’s lying now. Don’t elect this liar for Prez.
Then, there’s this other nugget from today’s Wall Street Journal about Tony Rezko. In addition to Obama admitting over the weekend that he underestimated the amount of contributions donated to him through Tony Rezko by $100,000 (Rezko’s peeps donated $250,000 to Obama, not “just” $150,000), Rezko never gave a dime to Obama:

Mr. Rezko hasn’t donated to Sen. Obama’s presidential campaign.

That’s of interest, since–as I’ve noted–the majority of the donors to Obama, that came to Obama from Antoin “Tony” Rezko are Muslims and Arabs. Since Rezko didn’t donate a dime directly, Rezko apparently got the word from Obama that he couldn’t, himself, donate to Obama, and Obama apparently put that word out and let it be known that he could take money indirectly.
If he wasn’t going to accept money from Rezko, how did he know that $250,000 worth of donors were connected to Rezko and who they were? Because he WAS, indeed, going to accept money from Rezko and he did. That’s how. And he got caught. Oh, and when is he going to give “the house that Tony bought”–“Rezko Manor”–back?
Obama cannot have it both ways. He’s repeatedly changed his story about when he learned of Rezko’s criminal shenanigans for which he was later indicted. He clearly was aware of it, even at the time he accepted the structured transaction for the Obama house, “Rezko Manor.” And even if he wasn’t, he was certainly aware of it at the point at which he announced he was running for Prez, last year. And even after that he knowingly took money garnered for him by Rezko, even if Rezko himself did not donate. This was no accident. It was all very clearly by design.
That is proof that Obama and Rezko knew of the source of the money, but were trying to hide and launder it from public scrutiny of the true donor. That the conduit donors of the $250K were mostly Muslim Arabs should be a hint on which side the Obama bread is buttered.
Can you afford to have this lying con artist occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
I cannot. And that’s why, for the first time in my life, I will identify as a Democrat to vote in the Michigan Primary redo, so that I can vote for Hillary Rodham Cankles Clinton. She’s the less evil of two lessers.

To My Irish-American Friends & Readers, Happy St. Patrick’s Day; Old Irish Joke No Longer Funny–Your Homeland is Becoming Muslim

By Debbie Schlussel
**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE: An Irish Reader Tells us of the Muslim Expansion Among only 5 Million Irish ****
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to my Irish-American friends and readers. You drink green beer today. Some of us (not me) eat green bagels.
I have always had so many friends who are proud of their Irish heritage. After Hispanics, Blacks, and Germans, those with Irish heritage are the fourth largest ethnic group in America, numbering in the tens of millions. They’ve overcome what was once an “Irish Need Not Apply” ethos at the beginning of the last century to become Presidents of the U.S., CEOs, and the summits of every field.
And there has always been a special calendar relationship between this holiday and a Jewish holiday, Purim. They usually occur close in time. And while you drink today, on Thursday Night and Friday, the Jewish holiday of Purim, Jews are commanded to drink so much that they cannot tell the difference between the hero, Mordechai, and villain, Haman, of Purim.

luckofthemuslims.jpg

Luck of the Irish, er . . . Muslims by the Great David Lunde

There have been several Jewish Irish politicians, including a former Mayor of Dublin. And while I don’t celebrate the disappearance of the Jewish people, statistics show that Jewish intermarriage in America is most commonly to Irish Catholics. (One of my closest lifelond friends, Beth, is the daughter of an Irish Catholic who converted to Orthodox Judaism.) Famous Irish American composer George M. Cohan, a philo-Semitc, sympathized with Jewish Americans when he was once refused a hotel room because his surname caused him to be mistaken for a Jew.
But while today celebrates that St. Patrick drove out all of the snakes from Ireland, he has a new enemy to slay, a new giant snake that is growing in Ireland. I used to tell this joke to my Irish friends, but sadly it’s no longer a joke, but becoming true (here’s the much shortened version):

A tourist is on a tour of Ireland. He’s told not to stray from the group in the midst of the war between the Catholics and the Protestants. But while he’s taking photos, the tourist soon finds himself lost from his group in a back alley.
Soon, a man from a distance away is running towards him. It’s clear the man running is some sort of soldier or terrorist. He’s armed with a machine gun and a lot of bullets. The armed man asks, in his Irish accent, “Who are you? State your name and your religion, or I’ll kill you.”
The tourist doesn’t know what to do. If he says he’s Catholic and the armed figure charging toward him is Protestant, he’ll die. If he says he’s Protestant and the armed man is Catholic, he’s also a goner. So, as the armed man continues demanding the tourist’s identity and gets closer and closer to shooting range, the tourist figures out how to save his life.
Tourist: My name is David O’Houlihan Horowitz. I’m a Jew.
Armed Man: Glory Be! I’m the luckiest Palestinian Muslim in all of Ireland!

Like I said, that used to be funny. But, now, Islam is in the stages where it will slowly dominate Ireland. Right now, the numbers are still minute, but in a few generations, St. Patrick might be known as St. Fouad. Islam is the fastest growing religion in Ireland.

irishmuslim.jpgirishmuslim2.jpg

KISS ME, I’M IRISH: Irish Muslim Abiola Egbeyemi w/Niqab “Enhanced” By David Lunde
Muslims are immigrating to Ireland in greater numbers and the ones already in the Emerald Isle are putting on niqabs (full face veils) and burqas (the full Ninja) where they once did not. An example is this Irish woman, Abiola Egbeyemi of Carlow, Ireland, who went from clubbing and drinking to wearing a niqab and becoming an extremist Sunni Muslim. Prominent Irish magazine/website Metro Eirann has a special section for Islam. “Current Affairs,” “Business,” “Sports,” “Arts & Culture,” “Islam.”
Although Shi’ites claim only 2,000 Shi’ite Muslims in Ireland, there are far more–tens of thousands–Sunnis there. And both groups are dominated, in Ireland–as in the rest of the world, by extremists. A visit to Irish Sunni site IslamIreland shows giant mosques sprouting up all over, extremist Islamic schools for kids and seminars.
While the Harvard gym bows to Muslims here, there are enough Muslims in Ireland to merit their own “ladies only” gyms. Oh, and the mosques? Well, just like here in America, giant monstrosities, like the Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland (ICCI), are funded by the Gulf states. In the case of the ICCI, it’s funded by the UAE’s Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Maktoum Foundation.
This is all possible because, like America, the Irish have been far too tolerant, far too welcoming of Islam. That’s why Ibrahim Tahir, a devout Muslim bookseller from Singapore, wrote this on his blog, about his time living in Ireland:

I was once asked to come on county radio to talk about Islam during Ramadhan ‚Äî this was in 1996. One of the questions asked by the host was, “Have you ever been a victim of bigotry here in Ireland because you’re a Muslim?”
I famously replied, “No, in fact people are nicer here than they are back home!”

Yes, too nice.
So, to my Irish American friends and readers who today are celebrating their homeland and heritage, remember that while today you drink beer that is the green of Ireland, tomorrow, or in a not to distant future generation, you will not allowed to drink beer in your homeland. But it will still share the color of the Irish. Green, after all, is the color of Islam (a reason why it dominates the Saudi and HAMAS flags, and that of other not so nice Muslim groups).
Once the Muslims (the Spanish Moors) came to your island homeland and left behind them the “Black Irish.” Today, they are on the Irish Isle not to leave anything behind.
But to dominate and take over.
Blarney = Looking the Other Way as Islam Invades Ireland.
**** UPDATE: This is from a loyal Irish reader and frequent correspondent:

You forgot to mention we are just about 5 million and if these people keep breeding we will be overwhelmed in a very short time.
We suffer from Elites and I mean Elites. It took us 800 hundred years to be free from England and now we are about to spend etentity serving animals.
May God and St. Patrick help us from these Devils.
Keep up the good work. May God protect you.
