Chelsea Clinton & Jimmy Kimmel Teach Me A New Hipster Word Amid Much Clintonista-Slobber

By Debbie Schlussel

*** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ***

If you thought Jimmy Kimmel’s recent pandering infomercial for Barack Obama was bad, you should watch video of last night’s slobber-fest Kimmel had over Chelsea Clinton. Whatever happened to the good old days of Amy Carter, when former American Presidents’ daughters went off into the sunset and lived normal lives?

chelseaclintonjimmykimmel

And what the hell happened to Jimmy Kimmel? He used to be irreverent. He used to be iconoclastic. And, above all, he used to be funny. Now, he’s just a junior version of bitter, old, stubborn liberal, David Letterman. He panders to celebrities he used to mock. And he is a total butt-snorkeler when it comes to liberal politicians. So it goes with Dr. Chelsea Clinton, Ph.D. (likely in B.S.).

Chelsea Clinton isn’t even a politician. She’s just the fortuitous (for her) combination of the sperm and egg of two immoral, cheating, lying liberal politicians who might have had sex once, before her father became the self-anointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contest Court. But Jimmy Kimmel gave Chelsea Clinton top billing on his late night show, last night, ahead of more famous, more popular celebs, like Adam Carolla. And Kimmel pandered on and on and on, as Chelsea Clinton claimed that Bill Clinton changed his new granddaughter’s diapers. Um, do you really believe that? “Stars . . . they’re just like us!” She also claimed that she is a big fan of action movies. Again, if you believe that, I have some Whitewater stock and Benghazi e-mails to sell you. Then, the little Clinton jewelette and Kimmel did some promotion of some new group called, “Serve a Year,” asking Americans to take a whole year off and volunteer. Of course, it’s really not about that. Serve a Year is a project of the Clinton Foundation, so this whole thing is just a major pimping of Hillary for Prez. I think we’ve already served eight years-plus to the Clintons’ throne. We don’t need any more. I guess they don’t realize that because of liberal economic policies (like ObamaCare!), most Americans are hurting and can’t afford to work for a whole year for free.

Oh, and by the way, while they were pimping us on all things Clinton, I learned a new pretentious phrase from Dr. Chelsea Clinton: Read the rest of this entry »

Wknd Box Office: Divergent Series: Insurgent, The Gunman, It Follows, Deli Man

By Debbie Schlussel

Nothing I can really recommend that’s new today at movie theaters:

insurgentdivergentthegunman

itfollowsdeliman

* “The Divergent Series: Insurgent“: This is the second installment of the dull Hunger Games rip-off, The Divergent Series. I didn’t like the first one much (read my review), and this one is only slightly better. Like the first one, this is long, slow, and boring. But at least there’s more action and special effects. Still, the movie is confusing and pointless.

And at the end, we learn that all the killing and animosity between various factions of humans was just “an experiment” performed by humanitarians. Really? This is what passes for humanitarian only in place like Iran. By the way, if you don’t know what I’m talking about it’s for two reasons. First, you need to have seen the first installment of this movie series to understand what’s going on in this boring, blah, dystopian world. Second, I saw the first movie, and I still didn’t really know all of what was going on. It’s confusing. And it’s hard to remember a first movie from over a year ago that was so boring I struggled to stay awake. Read the rest of this entry »

OUTRAGE: FBI Let ISIS Muslim Be US Airline Mechanic, Join US Army in Iraq

By Debbie Schlussel

The FBI knew that Tairod Nathan Webster Pugh, the American Muslim convert who tried to join ISIS, was an extremist bent on jihad against America. And, yet, the agency AND the Bush and Obama Justice Departments let Pugh remain as a U.S. airline mechanic and go to Iraq as a U.S. Army contractor, anyway.

There’s a reason other federal agents refer to the FBI as “Famous But Incompetent.” Because the agency often fits that description. And that’s especially the case with Pugh, who was indicted this week for trying to join ISIS, after he was stopped by Turkish authorities from crossing over into Iraq or Syria. Harry Jubas, Z”L: American Patriot, Saintly Holocaust Survivor Taken By Nazis @ Age 7

By Debbie Schlussel

The story of Dr. Harry Jubas, an American patriot and one of the youngest Holocaust survivors to live through the Nazi death camps, is truly amazing. And a lesson and example for us all.

Dr. Rabbi Harry Jubas

Late last week, I did one of my regular early morning radio appearances I do most days around the country. This one was on the morning show on KIDO-AM in Boise, Idaho. On the show, I discussed the Israeli elections, the Netanyahu speech to Congress, and the Iranian threat. Then, a caller phoned in to tell me that Israel is America’s worst enemy (Israel is actually America’s best friend). I asked the caller if he believed the Holocaust happened, and he denied it, with the typical BS of Holocaust-deniers. I told the audience that my maternal grandparents lived to tell what happened in the Nazi death camps, after surviving them, and that most of both sides of my family were wiped out. After my appearance was over, I checked my e-mail to learn that my longtime family friend, Dr. Harry Jubas, died at age 82, and that his funeral was being held that afternoon.

Harry Jubas was living, breathing evidence that the Holocaust happened and what it did to destroy families and lives. But, more important, he was living, breathing evidence that the Nazis lost and that good triumphed over evil. And Harry Jubas’ life was also the story of the great opportunities America gives to those who arrive, deserve to be here, and work hard. I wish you could have heard his three children’s touching eulogies at the funeral. They brought more than one tear to my eye, and not just because I knew this great man and was touched by him in life. I feel compelled to share his amazing story with you. I put it off for a week because it is daunting and difficult to put into words a description of such a special person. Read the rest of this entry »

Some Questions I’d Like to Ask the Starbucks Barista About Race & Other Stuff

By Debbie Schlussel

I’d really rather not talk about–or be subjected to–Starbucks baristas’ views on race in America. But just in case–since I now apparently have no choice in the matter (other than the choice to skip Starbucks)–I have a few things, several of which I sent out on Twitter yesterday (follow me on Twitter), that I’d like to ask.

racetogethersanforddummy.jpg

(Yes, there was a Rolex Dior, and, yes, I correctly guessed that he was Black. Most women named, “Chanel”–also mostly Black. Contrary to popular race-baiting, noting cues to a person’s race or ethnicity isn’t racist. It’s just common sense. #RaceTogether with Starbucks.)

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is a smart businessman. He parlayed what used to be a plain two-bucks-a-pop cup of coffee in America into a “gourmet” experience that transformed him into a billionaire. But he’s an unabashed uber-liberal (but for his support for Israel and pride in being Jewish–he was attacked and Muslims boycotted Starbucks for that reason). And he’s made several very boneheaded decisions. His latest–to encourage his employees to start conversations on race with customers–is the most boneheaded. Schultz claims he’s instituting this “Race Together” policy (in conjunction with USA Today) because Americans don’t like to talk about race, and he wants to change that. But ya know what? They don’t like to talk about boogers and bowel movements either. Do you want to hear about that from Starbucks employees while they hand you your coffee? Didn’t think so. And I’d like to hear about race just as much. Maybe even less. There are some things maybe you shouldn’t talk about while you’re trying to sell coffee. Like politics, religion . . . or race (which falls into the politics category). Who says I need a smattering of Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright with my Caramel Macchiato? (For the record, I like Starbucks’ new racist-named coffee, “Flat White.”)

This will do nothing to address the reason most Americans don’t feel comfortable in discussions about race. The reason they don’t like to talk about race is that most Americans are White and branded as “RAAAAAAYYYYYYYCISSSSSST!” whenever they make a legitimate, well-reasoned comment about race that doesn’t fit the standard, accepted liberal narrative that Blacks are victims, that only Whites can be racist, that everything Whites do and everything that happens in society to Black people is racist, that any criticism of anyone in a position of prominence who happens to be Black (Barack Obama!) is racist, and so on. Try talking about the unfairness of affirmative action–which IS racism mostly practiced against White males–and you are essentially the same as a Grand Wizard of the Klan. The Biggest Winners in Today’s Israel Elections Aren’t Who You Think – It’s Scary Who Is

By Debbie Schlussel

The biggest winners in today’s Israeli elections aren’t Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his Likud coalition (the likely victors, despite the naysaying in the last week) or the Israeli Labor-Left (headed by candidate Isaac Herzog). It’s the Israeli Arabs, who now call themselves Palestinians. If the polls are correct on their showing today (and those polls appear to track more closely with fact than the ones that showed Netanyahu losing), the anti-Israel Arabs in the Israeli Knesset, bent on Israel’s destruction, will have gained more seats and more power.

hamasterrorist.jpg

The Biggest Winner Isn’t Netanyahu; It’s Them (Projected Polling Results)

Yes, there is at least one pro-Israel (and Christian) Arab in the Knesset. But, as I’ve told you on this site, there are several Muslim Arabs who hate Israel and openly support HAMAS and Hezbollah. They are a fifth column with voting power in the Israeli government. And they are an omen for what will happen here in America–what has already happened here (see Congressmen Keith Ellison and Andre Carson, and former Members of Congress Mary Rose Oakar and Nick Joe Rahall, among many others). We will see more of this and so will Israel, regardless of the outcome of today’s elections in the Jewish State. In no other country in the Middle East, does the government allow members of its own government to call for its destruction . . . and allow those people live to the end of the day.

I never believed the polls showing Netanyahu losing. Most Israelis, despite domestic economic problems, know the national security threats they face every second of their lives, and choosing a left-winger in Herzog, would solve neither domestic nor national security problems–only make them worse. Israelis aren’t stupid, though they do have a strong lefty component of the population, bent on self-hatred and political suicide. But today’s elections won’t likely yield definite results, as Israel’s government is generally run by whichever party is able to build the bigger coalition of Knesset seats. For a few years in the 1990s, Israel had direct elections of the Prime Minister, as we do for President here in the States. But that was the exception, and instead, the Prime Minister is determined by the majority coalition of Knesset seats.

The most disturbing coalition, however, is that of the Arabs in Israel along with some fringe left-wing parties. Together, they are expected to amass the third largest number of seats in today’s elections–and that was the real danger to Netanyahu. Most of the Jewish religious parties in Israel would likely get behind Netanyahu. But the Arabs and the far lefties could have amassed enough seats to join Herzog’s Labor party. The Arabs used to splinter among several parties, but now they’ve joined to become, “The United List,” also known as “The Arab List.” Read the rest of this entry »

St. Patrick’s Day MUST-SEE VIDEO Remains Spot-on Unintentional Commentary on America

By Debbie Schlussel

So, it’s St. Patrick’s Day, and although there’s little for the Irish to really celebrate–Islam remains and is accelerating as the fastest growing religion in all of Ireland–I would be remiss if I didn’t post the best St. Patrick’s Day video ever: the leprechaun “sighting” in Mobile, Alabama. I post this almost every year on St. Patty’s Day. I believe it’s from back in 2006, but it is a timeless unintentional commentary on the sad state of contemporary America. I could watch this over and over again.

Hillary Clinton, David Petraeus v. Larry Franklin: A Tale of Double Standards on Classified Materials

By Debbie Schlussel

Both Hillary Clinton and David Petraeus should do serious jail time for mishandling and improperly possessing classified information and risking America’s national security. But, sadly, neither will. And, yet, Larry Franklin was initially sentenced to 12.5 years in jail for it. Jonathan Pollard still rots there.

hillaryclinton.jpgobamasmiling.jpg

Mrs. Clinton lives a life of luxury. So does Petraeus. And yet Franklin was set to go to jail for it, served 10 months in a halfway house, and was forced to dig ditches and clean bathrooms for a living. Franklin was warning Israel about the Iranian threat, though. And, so, the Bush Administration prosecuted him. It’s a tale of double standards.

I’ve been galled over the last two weeks as both former General Petraues and Mrs. Clinton got away with what you or I would be prosecuted for.

According to news stories, Mrs. Clinton had all kinds of classified information stored in e-mails she sent through private e-mail on a private server. As Secretary of State, she likely would have had access to information on which employees at U.S. Embassies were really CIA spies. She might even know the details of covert operations and security missions of those CIA spies. If those agents were from the State Department’s own agents–a lesser-known group of federal agents–she definitely would have had details of their operations and missions. And all of that likely went through her private e-mail server, all improper and all illegal. Read the rest of this entry »

Wknd Box Office: Cinderella, Run All Night, ’71, Kidnapping Mr. Heineken

By Debbie Schlussel

Well, the new movies at the theater this weekend are getting better (relatively speaking), so Spring and Summer must be just around the corner.

* “Cinderella“: When I first heard about this Disney project, I thought, “Again?! Do we really need yet another ‘Cinderella’?” But, actually, after seeing this, the answer is, “Yes.” This was just fantastic, from the beautiful costumes and sets to the acting to the computer generated images and effects. Everything about this was terrific and charming. And, for once in all of these years I’ve been reviewing movies, there is finally a prince in the Cinderella story who isn’t an effeminate, bumbling dope. The prince in this one is principled, courageous, and masculine. The movie is great, wholesome fare to which to take the entire family. Even the adults will enjoy this. Read the rest of this entry »

VIDEO: Muslims Did What?! To Jews on the Temple Mount

By Debbie Schlussel

Imagine if Muslims built a mosque on top of St. Peter’s Basilica. Then imagine if Catholics and others tried to visit the church and were repeatedly harassed and/or denied entry. That’s what happens repeatedly to Jews who try to visit the Temple Mount, which is the holiest site in Judaism and on top of which Muslims deliberately built an ugly mosque. Watch this video below, as Australian tourists are stalked, chased, attacked, and harassed by crazy, shrieking Muslim chicks in niqabs (full face veils–I call it, “the full Ninja,” with apologies to Ninjas for the comparison).

Would they allow this at St. Peter’s Basilica? Nope. So, why do the Jews and Israel allow this at the Holy Temple Mount? Watch the video . . . Read the rest of this entry »
