This has to be the most absurd claim of racism and intimidation of Blacks I’ve heard yet–that America’s national parks are racist and that Blacks don’t visit because the dirt and the soil remind them of slavery. Hilarious. Blacks have been farmers in America for centuries. But now, soil and dirt at parks reminds them of slavery?
Hmmm . . . maybe the reason they don’t like national parks is that Yosemite’s only Black ranger wears two earrings, if ya know what I mean. Maybe Blacks don’t go to national parks because they don’t want to. Maybe they prefer something else for their free time. Why is this a problem? It’s their business what they choose to do with their free time and their free choice, not a national crisis that needs to be socially engineered otherwise.
As I always say, if you look for racism, you’ll find it. Time to stop looking for it and move beyond absurdities like this.
Oh, and by the way, Snoop Dogg at the national parks–bad idea.

As you may know, tonight on “60 Minutes,” Ookie a/k/a “Ron Mexico” a/k/a Michael Vick gives an exclusive interview to my friend, James Brown. I like James Brown, he’s interviewed me many times for several of his radio and TV projects, and I think he’ll do a good job. I doubt he’ll shy away from asking the dog killer/quarterback some tough questions about his “Bad Newz Kennels,” though he’ll probably do it in his usual more subdued, classy way.

As you probably know, Ookie (vick’s dog-fighting biz name) signed with the Philadelphie Eagles of the National Football League, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has allowed dog torturer Vick to play, this season.
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it’s not just that Vick abused dogs, it’s that he was extremely cruel to living creatures (read the indictment for the details on what he did to the dogs). Anyone who is as cruel as he was to the dogs (literally throwing them against a wall or the ground, repeatedly and making them suffer) is sick–and I don’t think it’s curable. You don’t have to agree with the extremist views and goals of PETA a/k/a PUTAh (People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans) to recognize that such cruelty to living creatures is indicative of violent tendencies to ALL living creatures, including–and very likely–humans.
On the other hand, Vick has served his time, spent a good deal of his sentence in prison. And that’s hardly the case with NFL players that actually killed human beings, as opposed to animals. Ray Lewis, for example, took part in the stabbing murder of three people. And he was never suspended from the NFL for it. After the fact, this multiple murderer was a Superbowl MVP. Donte Stallworth, who killed a man while he was drunk driving and stoned on marijuana, served less than 30 days in jail, and he will only be suspended for one NFL season. (And, as I noted earlier this year, the 2009 Superbowl MVP, Santonio Holmes, is a chick-beating, drug-dealing, multiple-times baby daddy who likes to expose himself.)

Tonight at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, the third season of “Mad Men” begins on cable’s AMC. The show takes place in the early 1960s at a mid-sized Manhattan advertising agency, Sterling Cooper. As mine is a cable-free household (I’d never get anything done if I had that much garbage to watch, plus who needs to see more vapid freaks on season 532 of “The Real World” or “The Hills”?), I’ve caught up on the series via DVD and will try to catch this episode online, when it becomes available.
Jon Hamm as “Mad Men’s” Don Draper/Dick Whitman
If you enjoy “Mad Men”–as I do–that means you’re probably either a woman or a gay man (male designers love the show). Yes, for me, it’s a guilty pleasure, mostly because I like the early ’60s clothes and sets and the eye candy of the very hot (but uber-liberal) Jon Hamm who plays the suave and dapper protagonist–more like anti-hero–of the show, “Don Draper.” But let’s face it, it’s a soap opera no less than “Desperate Housewives,” with the addition of period clothing, hairstyles, furniture and news events of the early 1960s woven in.
And let’s be honest: while the show is entertaining, it’s anti-male. It’s written for women. All of the men–especially lead Don Draper–are boozy, smoking lecherous, womanizing, cheating, bigoted jerks (except–per leftist orthodoxy–the closeted gay and the civil rights activist), and the women–even the ones who sleep around–are the sympathetic “victims.” I always assumed the show’s writers were women or gay men.
That’s why it came as no surprise to me when I read the Wall Street Journal profile of the show’s writers–seven of nine of whom are women (and one of the male writers is married a female writer, so he doesn’t count)–and the Journal’s note that “Mad Men” has had more women direct the show than most TV shows do. The show’s portrayal of straight men in a nuclear family–regardless of the era–can only be the work of feminist women or gay men (as “Desperate Housewives” is–creator Mark Cherry is openly gay). And in this case, it’s the former.
Draper is using a fake name (his real name is Dick Whitman, but he stole his current moniker off a dead fellow Korean War soldier in his unit), his mother was a hooker (he’s the product of her union with a john), he was abused by his religious Christian stepfather (there’s that anti-Christian theme that’s like crack to Hollywood writers), he was a used car salesman, he was in a fake first marriage his wife doesn’t know about, and he’s had four affairs/four different women in two seasons of the show.

Forty years ago tomorrow (Saturday), a stupid concert that helped hasten America’s decline happened. And because of it, this past week, we’ve been treated to an endless undue nostalgia for something unworthy–an orgy to America’s end. That’s what Woodstock was, nothing more. And certainly nothing worthy of celebration or glamorizing.

For those of us with critical thinking skills, the nakedness and pothead mania at that jerk Max Yasgur’s farm is not only not worth celebrating or remembering with fondness, it’s worth looking back upon with the only things it deserves: disgust and condemnation.
I really don’t care that the “greatest names in rock of the day” performed there. So what? And who cares if Jimi Hendrix played there? Look what happened to him just over a year later. Dead of a drug overdose and too much alcohol. Typical of the Woodstock idiots. They, the rockers, and the hippies, yippies, and other numbskulls making up the boomer generation at this infest-o-fest brought us free love . . . and STDs and AIDs, single mothers and baby mamas, and a whole new hipness to out-of-wedlock births that has brought us crime waves, sensitive men a/k/a wimps, and a whole lot of other problems. Their sexual mores brought us sky-high divorce rates and a rate of out of wedlock mothers–40%–that rivals many Western democracies.
Their anti-war peace and love was really just America-hatred which glamorized violent protest against the country and parents and authorities who gave them everything; it was uber-tolerance for Black panther racism, violence, and murder (of cops and others); and it was the big love and tolerance of those who hate and want to destroy us. Woodstock was anti-patriotism-palooza.
Yup, the drugged-out Woodstock free-lovers of 40 years ago are the aging ACLU lawyers for Islamic terrorists of today. And don’t forget how they spit on our Vietnam Veterans . . . the ones who didn’t return in body bags, while their fellow Americans–Woodstock pondscum–had educational deferments and other methods of staying in America for this stupid self-esteem-on-steroids party.
The Woodstock alumni are the 60-something-year-old cat ladies who watch America’s Al-Jazeera, PBS (while your tax dollars subsidize it), and idolized Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan, and they are the converse: the aging groupies who slept with every hippie and druggie that ever professed a hatred of Nixon and the Vietnam war (the chicks who now look like burnt leather in overstretched lace camisoles and tank tops covered by ugly multi-colored jackets from Chico’s). They slept around so much, they brought us abortion on demand to help eliminate the “baggage.”

This week presents an interesting juxtaposition between the sci-fi/alien invasion flick “District 9” (aimed at guys) and “The Traveler’s Wife” (a chick flick). Both were decent. I did not see “The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard” but will be seeing it this weekend and will add my review later.
* “District 9“: It’s rare that I enjoy a left-wing piece of pure propaganda. But I enjoyed District 9 because it’s well done, even if it has a nauseating, “Aliens are people, too” message. Sorry, they ain’t.
We’ve seen this before: Robots are people, too; Animals are people, too; etc. It’s not a new theme in the movies. And here it’s pimped in an equally heavy-handed manner. Still, to me, if you can watch the movie through a critical eye, you can enjoy it. It was entertaining and better than the usual crappy August release.
In this case, producer Peter Jackson says it’s supposed to be, by analogy, the telling of the story of how Blacks were treated under apartheid in South Africa. But, then, I guess he’s saying that Blacks were murderous, violent thugs who contributed nothing, because that’s what the aliens do in this movie. And if I were Black South Africans–or any Blacks–I’d be pretty miffed at the comparison, even if, now that Blacks do control South Africa, things are very violent there, and there’s a lot of Black-on-White violence and rape there.
The story: an alien spaceship hovers over urban South Africa for a long time, and finally authorities go up to the spaceship and rescue the dirty, slime covered aliens, cleaning ’em up and giving them a place to live–a camp called “District 9.” The aliens, who look like giant crustaceans are nicknamed “prawns.” No-one wants them there–except left-wing human rights advocates (typical). They are violent, they maim and kill people, and they are a drain on resources. Idiotic government bureaucrats–finally deciding, under civilian pressure, to get rid of them–come to District 9 to give the alien prawns eviction notices. The aliens laugh and mock them, violently attacking them. One bureaucrat, a happy-go-lucky, not-too-bright bureaucrat (who got his job through his father-in-law, who is in the South African government), gets infected with prawn blood and soon becomes very sympathetic to their cause, given what happens to him.
The movie, shot in documentary/news report style, wants us to feel sorry for the prawns. But I didn’t. I felt they should have dropped a giant bomb on “District 9” . . . sent me one of the “No Non-Human Loitering” signs as a souvenir (if you are reading this and are from the studio, please send me one).
Think the Palestinians. That’s what I did throughout the movie.

This morning, down the street from where I live, at the local Christian-owned gas station (I don’t buy gas at Muslim-owned gas stations; don’t want to fund the jihad), I spotted one of only three genuine General Lee Dodge Chargers in existence (the rest are fakes, er . . . “replicas”). As you probably know, the cars are from “The Dukes of Hazzard” TV show. (The one owned by Kid Rock is a fake and, while he bought it from “Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider, it was never used in the show).
I didn’t have my camera, so you’ll have to take my word for it. It was very cool, and looked exactly like the picture above (except it’s waaay cooler in person–the bright orange paint is, believe it or not, stunning). The dashboard is signed by “Hazzard” stars John Schneider and “Daisy Duke,” Catherine Bach. The owner, Mark, has the Michigan license plate “NOKLONE” to indicate that his is real (unlike Kid Rock’s). He lives right near me. Mark said the other two General Lee owners are the owner of L.A. Gear and a guy who lives in Minnesota.
This weekend, in the Detroit area, we are having something called “The Dream Cruise” down a major road, Woodward Avenue, that spans Detroit and many of Detroit’s major suburbs. People drive their exotic and classic cars up and down the street all week and definitely all weekend. I love cool cars, but try to avoid the event because the traffic is soooo bad. But there are classic cars driving around here everywhere this week, including Mark’s General Lee.

Maslamani, a Lebanese Muslim alien (he has no social security number) who claims he is from Liberia and can’t speak English. But the part about his Lebanese and “Liberian” heritage (and his status as a Muslim) is not being covered much by local media. Nor are questions about how and why this Lebanese Shi’ite Muslim illegal alien remains here, wasn’t deported, and was tax-funded in the Michigan foster care system, which screwed up and lost contact with him.
The 17-year-old Maslamani (whose last name is being incorrectly reported in the press and reflected in the court system as “Masalmani”) was in and out of the Michigan foster care system, from which he disappeared in June. Since then, Maslamani (that’s how his Arabic surname is correctly spelled and was listed in Michigan Department of Human Service Records until MDHS chief and Muslim Ismael Ahmed had the record erased this morning) has been engaged in a series of violent and serious crimes, including bank robbery, carjacking, and, now, murder. A man, 21-year-old pizza delivery guy, Matthew Landry, who went missing has now turned up dead (he was shot in the head), and Maslamani’s face appeared in video involving the use of the man’s ATM card. Chilling video and photos of his crimes, including one in which he sticks his gun in a woman’s head, are disturbing. Watch this video, which I’m unable to download or post on this site. Although Michigan’s Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel (a Democrat I like) told members of the press (watch this video) that Maslamani a/k/a Masalmani was of “Liberian descent” and asked for a translator, the fact is that Liberia is a mostly Black country where English is spoken. But Maslamani is a (primarily Arabic) Muslim surname, and many Lebanese Shi’ite Muslims own businesses and have built Hezbollah cells in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the Ivory Coast, along the African coast. The Shi’ite Maslamanis–several of whom can be found in Liberia–originally hail from the South Lebanese Hezbollah strongholds of Al-Gandouria and Al-Jebain. Maslamani comes from one of those families, and that’s why he needs a translator . . . an ARABIC translator. (The Arabic website, Al Shahid (“The Martyr”), discusses two Lebanese Shi’ite Maslamani brothers who were Hezbollah terrorists killed by the Israeli Defense Forces.)

The Michigan foster care system–in the care of which Maslamani was supposed to be–is under the control of Michigan Department of Human Services chief, Ismael Ahmed. As I’ve noted on this site repeatedly, Ahmed, a Muslim activist and open supporter of terrorist groups HAMAS and Hezbollah, defrauded the State of Michigan to the tune of billions of dollars when he headed the organization ACCESS–the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services–and helped pregnant Muslim alien women commit Medicaid fraud to have Michigan and federal taxpayers cover the births of their kids (who also got U.S. citizenship in the scam). That’s not to mention his first wife (a non-Arab, non-Muslim) who was going to divorce him, and who mysteriously ended up “falling down” an elevator shaft, when he took her on a trip to New York.
**** UPDATE: I have confirmed that Ihab Maslamani was born in Lebanon–to Shi’ite Muslims involved in Hezbollah (his mother is Zeinab Hammoud, from the Shi’ite Hezbollah Hammoud/Hamoud family) and came here illegally when he was eight years old and lived in Dearbornistan for several years. His father, Isam Masolmany, was under a death sentence in Lebanon (probably for involvement in a terrorist group) and fled to Libya. Ihab Maslamani needs to be put in prison for life, but should have been deported.
This tragedy could have been avoided, had Ismael Ahmed–who believes in bringing illegal aliens here and helping them break the law and stay–ousted him from the tax-funded Michigan foster care system and given him to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) for deportation. And Ahmed is at fault twice. Ihab Maslamani had frequent contact with the Islamic community, living in Dearborn for some time and going in and out of ACCESS–the Muslim Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, founded and headed by Ahmed, which failed. ****
