Recently, I told you how the typical anti-Israel thugs were demanding that Madonna cancel her planned Israeli trip and concert.  Although I’ve been a frequent Madonna critic, I lauded her for ignoring them.

Well, it’s now official.  Ignoring the Jew-haters and self-hating Jews, Madonna performed her concert in Tel Aviv, yesterday.  And– a bonus–she raised the Israeli flag.  That’s brave for her, and I give her credit and props for that.  And now she’s under attack from every segment of the Muslim and extremist world, not to mention nutty YouTube commenters (though that could be redundant).

Some readers complained to me, upset that Madonna met with Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni and not just Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.  But to me, that’s not  a big deal.  We should be happy that she didn’t pull an Al Sharpton or Sharon Stone and go visit Fatah leader and Palestinian Authority Prez Mahmoud Abbas a/k/a Abu Mazen. And frankly, I think her actions in Israel showed courage. Yasher Kochech [May Your Strength Be Firm–a Hebrew congratulation], Madonna!

As I’ve noted on this site before, in the federal court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Detroit, etc.), there are only three federal judges who are reliably reasonable and fair (and who actually apply the law). And one of them is Judge Paul D. Borman.

Yesterday, Judge Borman demonstrated, yet again, why he’s such a great judge, and why it will be sad when he retires.  He is not afraid of the pressures of Muslim extremists and political correctness.

Borman ruled in favor of American Airlines in a lawsuit by five Iraqi men who said their nationality cause the  plane’s captain to cancel their flight.  Read Judge Borman’s brilliant Order Granting Defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment.

The flight was canceled after the men glared at crewmembers and one of them had a blanket over  his head.  A female passenger who was uncomfortable got off the flight, and the men made others nervous with their behavior.  As a result American Airlines returned the plane to the gate in San Diego and canceled the flight.

The men were on the flight, headed to Chicago, in August 2007, after training Marines in California about Iraqi culture.  No word on whether they taught the infidel Marines serving the great satan, about Muta’aeen (Shi’ite temporary marriages for the purpose of sex) and IED construction.

Most of the Iraqi plaintiffs–David Al-Watan, Ali Alzerej, Hasan Al-Zerej, Mohammed Al-Saedy, Hussein Alsalih–are Shi’ite Muslims and most likely support Hezbollah.  Plaintiff Talal Cholagh has a Chaldean (Iraqi Catholic) surname.

And, by the way, remember that two American Airlines planes–Flight 11 and Flight 77–were hijacked on 9/11 by Muslims who acted suspicious. They’re supposed to ignore this stuff?

Capt. John Plummer’s decision to return to the gate in San Diego was not “arbitrary and capricious,” a key legal standard in the case, U.S. District Judge Paul Borman said.

“The fact that the individuals who engaged in the suspicious conduct were of Middle Eastern/Iraqi descent does not support the conclusion that the decision to return to the gate was race-based rather than fact-based,” Borman wrote. . . .

Plummer described the behavior as “odd.” He returned the plane to the gate, and police interviewed the men. . . .

“The suspicious conduct at issue was not, as plaintiffs’ counsel characterized it at oral argument, ‘innocent’ or ‘completely silly,'” Borman said.

Rupert Murdoch and FOX News are about to increase their dangerous intercourse with a vehemently anti-Israel Saudi Prince’s business interests.  And you can bet it will affect FOX News’ already soft coverage of Islam and negative stories involving violent Muslims.

Several years ago, I told you about Saudi Prince AlWaleed Bin Talal’s purchase of 5.46% of News Corp., the parent company of FOX News (and now of the Wall Street Journal), through AlWaleed’s Kingdom Holding Co.

I also told you about Prince AlWaleed’s bragging that when FOX News reported on the perennial Muslim riots in France, he called Rupert Murdoch, demanding the word “Muslim” be removed.  A half hour later, FOX News was calling these Muslim riots “civilian” riots, with the word Muslim nowhere to be found or heard.  This is why I routinely refer to FOX News by it’s real name, PAWNN–the Prince Al-Waleed News Network.

And as I reminded you, AlWaleed is the sleazy, keffiyeh-encrusted Saudi who, just after the 9/11 attacks, offered then-New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani a $10 million check, if America would change its foreign policy on Israel, implying that the Israelis are morally equivalent to the 9/11 Islamic terrorist hijackers.  And he supported Palestinian homicide bombers.

Now, Prince AlWaleed has declared he’s upped his (Kingdom Holding’s) stake in News Corp to 5.7%.  Alwaleed also owns Rotana Media, the company that has the exclusive rights to broadcast FOX News Channel in Saudi Arabia.

But that’s not the news here.  The news is that AlWaleed Bin Talal’s 5.7 percent share of News Corp. is about to jump even higher because Rupert Murdoch and News Corp. are increasing their incestuous business holdings in Saudi Arabia and Prince AlWaleed’s media ventures there.  Murdoch and New Corp. are looking to buy 20% of Rotana, and apparently the deal will be for an exchange of News Corp. stock.

Yes, not only will AlWaleed yield even more control over what’s shown on FOX News–the way he did with the Paris Muslim riots, but Murdoch and News Corp. will likely take further steps to please their new Saudi patrons.  The given reason for News Corp.’s investment in Rotana is that it needs new markets, due to falling ad revenue in the U.S. and Europe.

A stake in Rotana could help expand News Corp.’s presence to the more than 300 million people in the Arab world.

In his column, this week–“Did Hitler Want War?”–America’s most famous neo-Nazi tells us that Hitler only wanted peace.  Apparently it’s Poland’s and Great Britain’s fault that World War II happened.  And, you know, Hitler–who “wanted to end the war in 1940”–was “forced” into it.  I suppose he was forced into turning on the ovens and showers of Auschwitz and Bergen Belsen and Lodz and Treblinka and Majdanek and Gross Rosen, too.  You know, he only wanted peace.

Ask yourself why Sean Hannity and others, whom you think are not extremists, continue to promote America’s neo-Nazi-in-Chief and give him a loud voice when he’s long past jumped the shark.  Why do they lend legitimacy to Hitler revisionism from a draft-dodging anti-Semite?  In Vannity’s case, he’s never uttered a word of disagreement because it appears–based on his decade-long relationship with neo-Nazi Hal Turner–that he agrees with Buchanan.

Yes, Barack Obama and his ObamaCare minions declared surrender on the “public option” portion of their proposed mammoth nationalized healthcare.  But that changes little about this impending disaster.  The bottom  line is that it’s a government program, which will be run by public bureaucrats.

You know, the same government bureaucrats who are doing this:

Todd Lindberg has lived for a year and a half in a storage garage in northwest Des Moines. He sleeps on a well-worn couch in a dark corner of the building, amid construction equipment, tools and snowmobiles.

With most of one foot amputated and part of the other missing, he qualifies for federal disability benefits that would pay for an apartment and groceries.

But getting those benefits is not easy.

A massive backlog of unresolved disability claims at the Social Security Administration has kept Lindberg and millions of others waiting years for benefits they earned while in the work force. The delays have led to splintered families, foreclosed homes and suicides.

Last year, a 49-year-old Missouri truck driver died in the lobby of a Social Security office while waiting to be called into the office for a hearing on his three-year-old claim for benefits.

During the past year, the number of people waiting to have their claims processed has increased more than 30 percent, from 556,000 to more than 736,000. The head of the Social Security Administration, Michael Astrue, has acknowledged that the situation might soon get worse. The agency is “moving backwards” in its efforts to keep pace with a recession-driven influx of new claims, he said.

Nationally, applicants for benefits are waiting an average of 505 days to bring their cases before a Social Security judge for a hearing. In Iowa, the wait is slightly longer: 541 days. . . .

So, this evening, NBC News anchor Brian Williams and a host of other liberal mainstream media reporters covered the raging California fires.  Williams even hosted NBC Nightly News near the flames.

But unlike him and the other libs, this new wild fire reporter is the most accurate of them all.  She doesn’t distort what’s going on with her own agenda.

A week from Friday will be September 11th, the eighth anniversary of coordinated Islamic terrorist attacks on our soil that mass-murdered 3,000 Americans.

So how does Oprah “remember”?  Well, she’s having a REAL “victim” on her daytime TV talk show:  ESPN reporter Erin Andrews to talk about the peeping tom  (I still don’t know–do you capitalize “Tom” when it’s preceded by “peeping”?) video of her that emerged on the internet.

Sorry she got peeped on, but the fact is that no-one would have ever been aware of the video or that its grainy subject was her, had Andrews and  her lawyer not sent out letters identifying herself as the subject.  They turned it into a big deal, and it’s time to move on.

But Andrews won’t move on . .. milking it for all it’s worth. She claims, “I just felt like I was continuing to be victimized.”

Whenever you hear our government and military officials spouting off about “winning the hearts and minds” of the Muslim world, think of Daoud Sediqi.  He’s the cover guy for how it’s “working.”  More about him later.

Daoud Sediqi: Yet Another Example of How Winning “Hearts & Minds” is a Losing Strategy

Remember, we don’t win Islamic “hearts and minds” by being nice, giving them Levis and “American Idol,” and allowing them to elect their chosen barbarians in free elections.  You win hearts and minds by dropping bombs and, yes, killing people.  In that part of the world, it’s the only thing they understand.  And the only thing they respect.  Period.  They laugh at our “hearts and minds” crap.

Aside from that, it’s kind of hard to win “hearts and minds,” when there is no heart–only cold and calculating emptiness aimed at defeating the west;  and the mind is possessed by an intolerant death cult philosophy.  Just ask the deprogrammers who spend weeks deprogramming kids from cults.  And we don’t have deprogrammers running our “hearts and minds” programs in the Islamic world.

As longtime readers know, I’ve frequently written about how we have not only wasted our time in Iraq, we’ve essentially changed the balance of power so that Iran now has a giant Shi’ite crescent, without Sunni Saddam Hussein blocking the Iranians.  Iranian-backed Shi’ites have already announced they no longer support infinitesimally pro-U.S. Nouri Al-Maliki as Iraq chief, and they’ll pick a new guy more to their World Shi’ite Domination goals.

Our invasion of Iraq–ostensibly for the purpose of giving them this nebulous “democracy”–merely gave barbarians the chance to elect their own barbarians.  It’s not long before Iraq is part of greater Iran.  Right now, it’s already an Iranian satellite state.  If we weren’t prepared to install a ruthless, pro-American, Shah-like, Sunni dictator in Iraq–and we weren’t thanks to George W. “Democracy for Muslims” Bush, then we never should have invaded.

The same thing is going on in Afghanistan.  We invaded allegedly to destroy the Taliban, at which we’ve now failed miserably for several years.  Oh, and there’s that “free elections” thing.  You know, that awesome “democracy” for barbarians.

It’s more of the “hearts and minds” crap we’ve been hearing not just from Obama administration lowlights, but from President Bush and his entire administration for several years. The latest utterance of this baloney comes from General Stanley McChrystal, who continues to focus on winning Afghan “hearts.” Good luck with that.

Now, George Will is making big news by saying that we should just get out of Afghanistan.  And, yes, he’s right.  The only bad thing about it is that it will give Bin Laden and the Muslim world yet another reason to smile and laugh at us.  Yet another pull out after we lost.  Like in Vietnam (where we were winning but the lefties in the press and Congress made us “lose” and leave).  Like in Beirut, where we did nothing about more than 300 Marines and U.S. officials murdered, hamstrung the Israelis, and allowed Hezbollah to take over.  Like in Somalia (“Black Hawk Down”).  And now, like in Iraq, where Iran’s Shi’ites rule the roost.

The reason we continue to lose in Afghanistan is that we aren’t tough.  We don’t just drop bombs indiscriminately and kill lots of people, which is what you need to do if you have any hope of winning a war and defeating the enemy.

And that’s where the “hearts and minds” crap comes in, along with one of America’s newest asylees, Daoud Sediqi, the host of Afghanistan’s “American Idol,” “Afghan Star.”
