So, a top Dubaian executive–who is a woman–is murdered in her New York City condo . . . in a Dubai-owned hotel.  I don’t believe for a second that this was just a random act committed by hotel worker, Derrick W. Praileau, 29, of the Bronx, solely of his own volition.  Muslim Arabs have a history of exploiting Black guys and making them take the fall  (remember slavery and who sold them into it?).  And this fits the M.O.

On Saturday, the body of Andree “Sara” Bejjani was found on Saturday in a 10th-floor apartment at the Jumeirah Essex House hotel.  Ms. Bejjani wasn’t just anyone.  The Lebanese-born Obama campaign volunteer headed Royal Investments, LLC, which advised wealthy Arabs on investments.

Now that all things and paper cuts Islam are major news–because we must show our concern for the religion of mass murder and 19 hijackers–I doubt you don’t know that today is Eid Al-Fitr, the Islamic festival marking the end of Ramadan.

Stephen Prothero: PC BU Prof Worried That Americans Won’t Accept Islam

And to that end, USA Today has a half-page op-ed with the chutzpah-dik title, “Will Americans Accept Islam?”  It’s written by Stephen Prothero, a religion professor at Boston University, and a great example of the mindless, West-hating, Islamo-apologist profs that are reprogramming America’s kids from ivory towers.

USA Today subtitles this baloney, “Illuminating the National Conversation.”  PUH-LEEZE.

Uh, here are some better questions which you’ll never see on the pages of McPaper, questions to which we already know the answer:

*  Will Islam Accept Americans?

*  Will Islam Accept America?

*  Will Muslims Accept America?

*  Will Islam Accept Christianity?

*  Will Islam Accept Judaism?

*  Will Islam Accept the West?

*  Will Islam Accept Zoroastrianism and the Ba’hai Faith (two religions that have been persecuted and driven out of Islamic countries, a la Judaism and Christianity)?

The answer to all of these questions is a resounding NO.  So, why should we care if Americans will accept Islam?  The other questions–which wimpy Americans slink away from–are far more important.  And they will decide the long-term future of our country and how we should protect it.

Sadly, we won’t ask those questions.  At our own peril.

Whether or not you like Matt Damon’s far left politics–and I certainly do not–his “The Informant!” is the best of the new movie releases at theaters, today.  In fact, it’s the only one I liked.

*  “The Informant!“:  Although this movie–based on a true story–begins as an anti-business/anti-corporate tale, it turns out to be something far different than that.  Instead, it’s the hilarious story of a not-so-bright FBI informant, Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon)–who thinks he’s a genius (hmm . . . kinda like Matt Damon thinks of himself).

Whitacre, a vice president at Archer Daniels Midland corporation, initially informs the FBI that ADM is fixing prices with competitors.  He begins spying on his co-workers and superiors atop this multi-billion dollar agri-business.

Because I’m in court today representing a client, as well as getting ready for the Jewish holiday, my movie reviews are late today.  But they’ll be up by 7 pm Eastern or so, G-d-willing.

In the meantime, here’s a hint:  The only movie I liked that’s opening this week is “The Informant.”  Although it starts out as an anti-business movie (which I don’t like), it ends up being something else as well, and it’s really funny.

Tonight, at sundown, Rosh HaShanah–the Jewish New Year–begins.  One of the two most important Jewish holidays (the other is Yom Kippur), it marks the beginning of the Jewish “Ten Days of Repentance,” during which we repent for our sins and pray for a good new year. We believe that on Rosh HaShanah, G-d inscribes our fate for the year, and that at the end of Yom Kippur, that fate is sealed.

On the holiday, we traditionally eat apples with honey (and other items with honey) to signify that we seek a new year that is as sweet as that uber-sweet combination. (My favorite apples, BTW, are McIntosh.)  The holiday ends at nightfall on Sunday Night.  During two days of intense prayer at synagogue, we hear the blowing of a ram’s horn (called a “shofar”), which makes several different kinds of sounds we are required to hear.

A little bit more about the Jewish New Year excerpted from my post on this in a previous year. My prayers will be the same as they were then (with a few added extras, now that we are stuck in the Obama era):

I have mixed feelings about Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s lawsuit, which alleges that Wells Fargo & Co. used “respected” Blacks, Tavis Smiley and Kelvin Boston to lure Blacks to obtain high-risk, subprime loans.

Hypocrite:

On the one hand, it’s enlightening.  Smiley, a hypocritical liberal, who blames Republicans and conservatives for everything (including the subprime loan mess and the bad economy), is shown for the charlatan he really is (a hypocrite and a fraud) . . . and the person who is somewhat at fault. This is the same guy who hosts annual “State of the Black Union” symposiums. Hmmm . . . maybe he should change that to “Pimping the Black Union.”

On the other hand, no-one put a gun to anyone’s head, forcing them to invest in real estate they couldn’t afford and for which they didn’t have the cash.  Ethnic marketing is a way of life, and it’s smart business.  Though in this case it is quite sleazy, dishonest, and predatory, I don’t see how that’s illegal.  You wouldn’t market gefilte fish and menorahs to Muslims.  And you market subprime loans to people with bad credit.  Those people tend to be urban and minorities.

Still, I find it interesting that the blame is being placed with Wells Fargo and not with Smiley and the Black media, which sold their people down this river in exchange for enriching themselves.

Just got back from a critics’ screening of Michael Moore’s new movie, “Capitalism:  A Love Story.”  Can’t post my review until it debuts in early October (stay tuned for that).  Moore is coming to town to do interviews, and I’m really bummed I can’t make those because I have a lot of pointed questions for him–I’ve had my run-ins with him before (here and here), and he does, at least, answer questions (in my experience).  But it’s scheduled on the Jewish High Holidays, and when it comes to a contest between G-d and Michael Moore, it’s really a no-brainer.  No contest.  Not even close.  I’ll be in synagogue praying for forgiveness and a good year. And the flabulous filmmaker will be Schlussel-free.

Don’t forget, by the way, that Moore’s agent, Ari Emanuel, is Rahm Emanuel’s bro. Like I said, my review goes up when the movie debuts.  But in the meantime, here’s the trailer:

The Ramadan Iftar dinner paid for by you–via the CIA–took place at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center a/k/a “The Hezbollah Social Club,” which is owned and run by open supporters of Hezbollah and–as I’ve reported–has been the scene of Hezbollah rallies (which I attended undercover) and anti-Semitic, anti-American speeches to thousands of Shi’ite Muslim Dearbornistan residents.

And as I predicted, Panetta kissed the rears of the usual suspects.  He was photographed laughing with FBI award revokee, marriage and immigration fraud perpetrator, and “former” Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist Imad Hamad.  Yup, the same Hamad who praised as “patriotic” the Palestinian Authority TV “Children’s Club” programs that teach 3-year-olds to become homicide bombers.

You’d think that a man who made such a big deal about a Muslim Congressman getting sworn into Congress using a Koran would be the last person to spend Judaism’s most important holiday with an extremist Muslim–the last person to use the day as an exercise in moral equivalency and interfaith multi-culti crap.

On Yom Kippur, Dennis Prager Does Interfaith BS w/ Muslim Levent Akbarut

But you would be wrong.  Because that’s exactly what Salem Radio talk show host Dennis Prager plans to do on Yom Kippur in less than two weeks.  And, because you might ask, the answer is, no, Prager is not a rabbi.  Not even close.  But he sure makes it sound like that, since he’s hosting his own “alternative” Yom Kippur “services.”  I used to like and respect Dennis Prager, but with this development, that’s no longer the case.

Here’s the e-mail he’s been sending out about his event with Islamic victimhood whiner Levent Akbarut, who was an active part of an extremist mosque, where polygamy and Jew-hatred was encouraged. Note how Prager claims he’s against using Yom Kippur as “a forum for political advocacy” and then announces his interfaith moral equivalency event. That’s not “political advocacy”? Only in an ignoramus’ fantasy.
