Not only shouldn’t we be shocked that two released Gitmo terrorists are behind the Christmas terrorist attack on Northwest Flight 253, but we shouldn’t be surprised that The East London Mosque, where Flight 253 Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab worshipped, is tied to Al Muhajiroun, the Al-Qaeda branch of which “Captain Hook” a/k/a Abu Hamza Al-Masri is a prominent member and which planned “The Magnificent 19” celebration, honoring the 9/11 hijackers.  Abdel Rahim a/k/a Richard Reid, the Shoe Bomber, was involved in Al-Muhajiroun.

Terrorism investigator Bill Warner has the whole scoop and all the details, as he’s had on many, many stories recently and over the years.  Maybe he should be working our counterterrorism, instead of lame-asses we have.  If Bill were running things, I’m sure he’d be monitoring the place and everyone would long have been on to Abdulmutallab.  Sadly, the English just discovered Abdulmutallab’s connection to the mosque . . . now that it’s too late.

Absolutely no one with a brain should be surprised that the Bush-Obama Gitmo Terrorist Catch & Release program is behind the Christmas Day Northwest Airlines Flight 253 attack by Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Released Gitmo Detainees Muhamad Al-Awfi & Said Ali Al Shari Planned Flt 253 Attack

Yes, it’s true.  The latest news is that two released Guantanamo Bay detainees were masterminds of Friday’s attempt to blow up the plane and murder hundreds of passengers headed for Detroit.  Plenty of released Gitmo terrorists have returned to terrorist activity.  So, why wouldn’t they also be involved in hijackings and explosions of planes?

Well, I guess that New Age psychobabble “art therapy” really worked, huh?:

Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents.

American officials agreed to send the two terrorists to Saudi Arabia where they entered into an “art therapy rehabilitation program” and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.

Ritter, a Dearbornistan Christian “chick” (who looks like she has season tickets to the WNBA if  ya know what I mean), wasted her Christmas flying to the Gaza Strip to protest the “evil Zionist Israelis.”  She went there not to protest the persecution, killings, bombings, and other violent attacks by Gaza Palestinian Muslims on Christians (which have driven almost all of the Palestinian Christians out of Gaza), but to protest Israel for “blockading” Gaza from getting terrorist supplies and reinforcements.

Last week, Ford Motor Company finally won a suit by a former employee, Arab Muslim Saleem Shariff, who cheered the 9/11 attacks and high-fived fellow Arab Muslim employees on the day of the attacks.  Three others–Khalid Ali Alward, Abdul Mohamed, and Saleh Mohamed Omar–also Arab Muslims, participated and did the same thing:  they cheered and high-fived the 9/11 attacks.  And they all sued when they were not hired for permanent employment, but only Shariff appealed after losing at the trial court level.  The Michigan Court of Appeals, in an unpublished decision (which I obtained and you can read here), decided in Ford’s favor.

This case is yet another refutation of the mainstream media claim that Muslims in America didn’t cheer the 9/11 attacks and were upset like every other group of Americans.  That simply wasn’t the case.  And Saleem Shariff and his three buddies weren’t the only Muslim U.S. residents (AINOs–Americans in Name Only; pronounced:  “Ay-Nuhss”) who celebrated the mass murder of thousands of Americans.

I’m glad Ford won, but only kinda glass-four-fifths-empty glad.  You see, I’m perplexed as to why a major American automotive manufacturer with a name brand to protect, would keep in its employ four employees who cheered the wholesale murder of nearly 3,000 Americans.  Ford didn’t fire Shariff or the others until 2004, three years after he cheered and high-fived the attacks. Why not?  There is simply no excuse for it.  And it’s basically saying, well, yes, we’re a company based in America, but we’ll tolerate employees who cheer the mass murder of Americans, because we have no backbone and worship at the altar of political correctness and uber-tolerance.

You’d think that with an extremely wealthy family and a father who was the Chairman of the First Bank of Nigeria,  Northwest Airlines Flight 253 Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab would have the best defense lawyer money can buy . . . and that he or his family would be paying for it.

But you’d be wrong.  In fact, YOU–the American taxpayer–are paying for his defense.  And his federal public defender, Miriam Siefer, has a record of sleaze and unethical behavior . . . some of it illegal.

Over the weekend, I told you about Northwest Airlines Flight 253 Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s:

*  family’s incredible wealth (noting that he’s yet another example debunking the absurd myth that Muslims turn to terrorism because of poverty or lack of opportunity–Nope, it’s because of Islam);

*  that he made an eleven-day trip to Houston in August 2008–why?  Who did he meet with and where did he go? (the FBI was too busy having Muslim outreach butt-kissing sessions to do the investigations they needed to do before Friday’s attempted attack);

*  that a Michigan couple who were on flight 253 say a “sharp-dressed man” helped Abdulmutallab get on the flight without a passport and that a second man was arrested when they got to Detroit;

* that the FBI appears to by lying about Sunday’s second incident on Flight 253–because the “ill businessman” who locked himself in the plane’s bathroom for an hour had no luggage and couldn’t tell authorities why he wanted to go to the U.S.

Now, meet Umar Abdulmutallab’s lawyer, Miriam Siefer, whose salary you are paying.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because you’ve read about Siefer on this site, before.  During the Detroit terror cell case, she represented Karim Koubriti, an Islamic terrorist in a cell, which plotted to blow up the U.S. Air Force Base in Turkey, where U.S. AWACS and Israeli F-16s are based and from where they took off.  They also plotted to blow up hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and planned to detonate in Disneyland.

Earlier today, I posted excerpts of an article about Kurt and Lori Haskell, Michigan lawyers who were passengers on Northwest Airlines Flight 253.  The Haskells said that they observed a “sharp-dressed man” assist Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab get on the plane without a passport.  They also said that a second man–perhaps the “sharp dressed man”–was arrested when the plane landed in Detroit.  But the FBI contradicted them, essentially calling them liars and saying no other persons had been arrested.

Just an “Ill Businessman” w/ No Luggage Who Can’t Say Why He’s Going to US

Per usual, the FBI probably lied, as the agency always seems to do in these cases.  This should be a lesson to readers who doubted me or called me a liar, when I posted the story of Tedd J. Petruna, a passenger on an AirTran flight in November, who said that Middle Eastern men refused to get off their cellphones and attempted to stage what was either “testing the system” or a terrorist hijacking dry run.  I trust the passengers far more than the feds, who always tell us, Nothing to see here, move along you little people.  I’d bet the Haskells are right.  And I’d also bet that if Abdulmutallab’s crotch bomb hadn’t detonated, we’d see the same cover up.

That’s why I don’t believe the claim that a Nigerian who was an unruly passenger, today, on the same Amsterdam-to-Detroit flight was “merely ill” and was a “businessman” (as if being a businessman and being a terrorist are mutually exclusive by the laws of nature), as authorities and the airline are now telling us.  I think there’s far more to the story than authorities and Delta Air Line (which owns Northwest) are letting on.  It’s not just that the man spent an hour in the bathroom.  It’s that the FBI arrested him upon arrival in Detroit. Why arrest the guy if he was merely “sick”?  Does this sound like a “merely sick businessman” to you?:

The man, who is in his 30s, reportedly locked himself in a toilet for more than an hour as the plane flew over the US.

The more we learn about Islamic terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the more absurd the whole situation seems because it not only could have been prevented, but because every single U.S. agency and authority involved behaved with incompetence.

Kurt & Lori Haskell Say NWA Flt 253 Terrorist AbdulMutallab Had No Passport

The latest is the allegation that Abdulmutallab was able to get on the flight even though he had NO PASSPORT! (I can’t even go to Canada for a few hours, without a passport.)  Given that, I have to laugh at the diaries that the Wall Street Journal published from the Shoe Bomber Abdel Rahim a/k/a Richard Reid.  Reid detailed the tremendous trouble he went through in 2001, to mask his passport prior to boarding a U.S.-bound flight from Amsterdam and trying to bomb it.  Reid didn’t want his British passport to reflect that he’s traveled to the Middle East.  So he tore out those pages, threw his passport in his jeans pocket and put it in a laundry washing machine repeatedly.  Then, when he went to get a replacement passport and told officials his story about “accidentally” throwing his passport in the laundry, suspicious officials issued him a new passport anyway.

Well, apparently, security was stricter back then.  Because, eight years later, Abdulmutallab didn’t even need a passport.  Passengers on Flight 253 say they watched a “sharp dressed man” (cue the ZZ Top song) convince authorities to let Abdul Mutallab on the flight WITHOUT a passport.  You let a dude from a Muslim country and no luggage on a U.S.-bound plane with NO passport?!  Hellooooo . . .?:

No, Christmas and his attempted terrorist attack on a plane wasn’t the first time, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab used his two-year visa to the U.S. Many reports say that Northwest Airlines Flight 253 Islamic Terrorist Abdulmutallab visited Houston in August 2008.  Some reports say he was in Houston for eleven days.

Why Houston?  What was he doing there?  And with whom did he meet?  Did he scope out sites for possible terrorist attacks?  Did he meet with Islamic terrorists in Houston to send them messages from Al Qaeda in Yemen or other Islamic terrorists?  At which Houston-area mosques did he pray?  And who are the imams of those mosques?  There is a huge extremist Muslim (redundant) community in suburban Houston, just as there is in suburban Dallas, in Austin, and elsewhere around Texas.  They are everywhere.

****  SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE:  Terrorist’s Father Warned US About Son  ****

While I was away observing the Jewish Sabbath, news broke that a Muslim Nigerian attempted to bomb a Detroit-bound Northwest Airline (now Delta)  flight from Europe, Flight 253.  Apparently the liquid and powder bomb he had strapped to his leg blew up and his lap caught on fire . . . which, if you ask me, is poetic justice.

New just broke that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was charged in a federal criminal complaint for the attempted Islamic terrorist attack.  READ THE FEDERAL CRIMINAL COMPLAINT, just publicly filed in Detroit (at the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan) within the last hour or so.  I’m glad to see that the Federal Judge presiding over this case is the always wise Judge Paul D. Borman, who–as I’ve reported on this site–takes no BS from Islamic terrorists and their supporters.

Also note, though, that the Assistant U.S. Attorneys on this case are Eric M. Straus (known for having a dartboard in his office with the picture of the FBI Detroit’s top terrorism intelligence agent, Paul George, on it) and Jonathan Tukel, who wantonly outed the name of a terrorism confidential informant to the Detroit Free Press and other news sources, in an attempt to get revenge on a rival. The informant was my client, and, as I noted, I believe he’s dead because of the outrageous conduct of Tukel, giving out his name.  These two lawyers are total sleazebags, so good luck, America.

Alhaji Umaru Mutallab: Father of Northwest Flight 253 Terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab & Former CEO of First Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian Govt. Minister

Abdulmutallab–from a prominent, wealthy, religious Muslim Nigerian family–was recruited to become a jihadist, not in his native Nigeria, but in Great Britain, where he spent three years as a student at University College London.  It’s yet another reason why the Visa Waiver program (granting certain designated Western countries an exemption from the usually more stringent visa process to travel to the U.S.) is a huge mistake.  We know Muslims come to the U.S. from various assorted Western Visa Waiver countries, and even though Abdulmutallab did not, he was recruited and radicalized in a Visa Waiver Country, Britain, where British nationals are also recruited for Islamic terrorism.
