Dumb Names Crime Story of the Day

By Debbie Schlussel

Since no-one has created a category for criminals with stupid names, I guess I’m gonna have to do it.

Criminal Twins w/Dumb Names: Karhonda & Kashaunda Prophet

In 1991, twin girls from Detroit attacked a mother and her daughter at the Detroit Freedom Festival, a summer-long series of concerts in Downtown Detroit right near the Detroit River.  The crime was racially motivated, as the teen-aged twins, who were Black and in a gang, shouted anti-White racial epithets at the White mother and daughter, as they beat them senseless for no reason.  Prior to that, they were bumping into White people, seeking to provoke a fight.  The incident caused many suburbanites–of both races–to stop going downtown for the Freedom Festival.  But I found at least one sadly amusing thing in this tragic story:  the racist twin thug-ettes were named Cossandra and Cassandra Rutherford.  Yup, almost the same spelling–different pronunciation:  one was “COH-Sandra,” and the other was “CUH-Sandra.”

And, so I’m reminded of Cossandra and Cassandra with this–yet another charming Detroit twin sisters with stupid names story:

Twin sisters who sold their kids’ Social Security numbers so tax filers could falsely claim them as dependents face prison after pleading guilty today to felony tax charges.

More Islamic “Feminism” On Display Worldwide; Where is NOW?

By Debbie Schlussel

Yet two more examples of Islamic feminism on display for the world to see.  And, yet, predictably, the feminist hags from NOW (the National Organization for ugly Women) and other so-called women’s rights groups exhibit the usual crickets chirping.  Utter silence.

islamiccrescent.jpghonorkilling.jpg

First there is our “friend and ally in the War on Terror” (and the enabler of it), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Don’t dare complain there . . . if you have female plumbing and aren’t accompanied by your male watcher.  It could lead to some unwanted scars and a long, um, “vacation” from society.

A Saudi woman who filed harassment claims in Saudi Arabia without being accompanied by a male relative has been sentenced to 300 lashes and 18 months in jail, Human Rights Watch said.

EXCLUSIVE: Who is Harold Hurtt? Meet the Immigration Enforcement Foe . . . Who Wants to be ICE’s Public Face

By Debbie Schlussel

Think immigration enforcement is bad enough, now? Well, it could soon be in a world of hurt . . . and Hurtt. Same difference. The Obama Administration wants to put an outspoken opponent of immigration enforcement in a position of immigration enforcement. No, not the head of La Raza. But Harold Hurtt–close enough.

World of Hurtt: Illegal Aliens’ Best Friend Wants Key ICE Job

If the name Harold Hurtt sounds familiar to you, it might be because, last year, I wrote about his disgusting interview with Al-Jazeera.  The then-police chief of Houston told the Terrorist News Network how “horrible” our prison system is and how the mentally ill “aren’t treated well,” a complete crock.  But it was useful propaganda for Jazeera to spread to the Muslim world about how “evil” America is (even though our prisons are luxe resorts compared to every day life in most of those countries, let alone in their prisons or mental institutions).  More important, Hurtt built his career on adamantly opposing every form of immigration law enforcement and proudly “enforced” Houston’s sanctuary city status to shield illegal aliens.

Incredibly, Hurtt wants to become the public face of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and is the Napolitano/Obama prospective choice to head up the agency’s Office of State and Local Coordination (OSLC).  It’s the primary position overseeing ICE’s Section 287 (g) program, which works with and allows state and local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws and round up illegal aliens.

ICE agents from the top on down are livid.  Hurtt made a mockery of their efforts throughout his Houston career and opposes what they do.

Caterpillar Does the Right Thing on Iran (Finally); When Will Shell?

By Debbie Schlussel

As I’ve noted over the years, U.S. companies get around our embargoes and boycotts of nations like Iran (and, previously, Iraq and Libya) by trading through foreign subsidiaries.  Prior to becoming Vice President, when Dick Cheney was Chairman of Halliburton, the company got around our embargo on Libya, using a foreign subsidiary.  Using its subsidiary, KBR (then known as “Brown and Root”), Halliburton built underground steel tunnels, which allowed Libya to move vehicles and weaponry underground, impervious to our satellite views.

caterpillarlogoahmadinejadsmile.jpg

And, since then,  many U.S. companies like General Electric and Caterpillar, have been doing business with Iran through their foreign arms.  As I’ve noted, even Coke and Pepsi sell to Iran through their Irish subsidiaries. It emasculates our sanctions and severely hampers our efforts at foreign policy sticks with regard to Iran and other such human rights violators and Islamic nuclear proliferaters.

But now, at least, Caterpillar–under pressure from a lobbying group, United Against Nuclear Iran–is doing the right thing, and has announced it will no longer sell its heavy equipment to Iran though its European subsidiary and its Iranian distributor, Arya Machinery.  Caterpillar has also done the right thing by refusing to bow to Palestinian Muslim pressure to stop selling equipment to Israel.  And for doing the right thing in two instances–especially when this tough economy includes shrinking sales for Caterpillar, anyway–the company should be applauded.  GE’s board, too, voted to stop new business in the country in 2005.

More:

Caterpillar Inc. has prohibited its non-U.S. subsidiaries from accepting orders known to be headed to Iran, the heavy-equipment manufacturer said in a letter to a lobbyist group.

Epic Fail: E-Verify Employer Immigration Check Doesn’t Work

By Debbie Schlussel

E-Verify, the program touted by both the Bush and Obama Administrations to weed out illegal alien employees, fails more than 50% of the time to catch illegal aliens.  The computerized system, designed to weed out illegal alien employees, doesn’t work.

illegalaliens.jpg

iceraidbellingham

ICE Agents @ Their Last Major Raid in Bellingham, WA

That’s significant because it was used as a precursory centerpiece by both the past and current administrations in their planned “comprehensive immigration reform” a/k/a illegal alien amnesty programs.  The program has also been used by the Napolitano Department of Homeland Security to curtail current immigration enforcement by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents.

As I’ve noted previously, ICE agents tell me they have been reduced to doing nothing in the category of apprehending illegal aliens because Napolitano and her figurehead ICE chief, John Morton a/k/a “Moron,” have made it nearly impossible to arrest illegal aliens, requiring lots of paperwork, up to seven forms per alien arrest, and approval from ICE headquarters BEFORE arresting each alien.  Napolitano has focused on the failed E-Verify as a way for employers to do the work she won’t allow ICE agents to do, since she ended workplace raids and worksite enforcement by ICE agents and put those who conducted a raid in the Seattle area under investigation, themselves (for the crime of doing their jobs).

So, as the execrable Dr. Phil would say, “Howz that workin’ for ya?”  Not too well:

The Department of Homeland Security’s controversial and much-touted E-Verify program might be failing to detect one out of two illegal workers whose employment authorizations are screened, outside consultants have told the agency. . . .

Religion of (Rest In) Peace . . . And Murdering Cyclists

By Debbie Schlussel

Here’s yet another good reason not to go cycling in Saudi Arabia . . . or, better yet, not to go to Saudi Arabia, period.  As we know, Islamic terrorists repeatedly targeted Americans in Saudi Arabia, whether it’s the blowing up the Khobar Towers or the kidnapping and video beheading of contractor, Paul Johnson.

islamiccrescent.jpgcrashedbike

This is just the latest in their barbarism against the West.  And don’t forget that while the Saudi government secretly smiles upon Al-Qaeda, if the Saudis were to have free elections, the Al-Qaeda garbage would be elected to run the government there.  It’s a fact that all the Scamelas in the world–who constantly shriek about “democracy” and “free elections” in the Middle East–never seem to get in their thick, ignorant skulls.

John Currie, who worked for BAE Systems – formerly British Aerospace – is believed to have been one four cyclists who started being “cut up” by local youths in two cars on a main road on the outskirts of Riyadh, the Saudi capital.

The Prob w/ Starstruck Federal Air Marshals – Kim Kardashian Edition

By Debbie Schlussel

What is it with starstruck Federal Air Marshals (FAMs) who can’t stop blabbing their real identities to attractive female celebrities (who also then re-blab)?  The Air Marshals are supposed to be undercover and on the lookout for men who would storm the cockpit and try to use the plane as a weapon . . . not their next “dating” (euphemism) opportunity or tickets to the taping of some TV show.

kimkardashianairmarshal1

kimkardashianairmarshal2

Last year, I told you about airhead faux-conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s outing of a Federal Air Marshal.  The ditzy co-host of ABC’s anti-male hag-fest, “The View,” told the audience the full name of a Federal Air Marshal who sat next to her on a New York to Los Angeles flight.  Not only did we learn the air marshal’s full name, but the time of the flight, its departure city and destination, where the Air Marshal sat on the flight, and what his cover story was (a cover story used by many FAMs).  As a result, the blabbermouth FAM was put under investigation and Federal Air Marshal Service brass had to contact ABC to remove his name from the episode, which was repeated during “The View’s” summer break.

Now, the same has happened with Kim Kardashian, but for the big-mouthed Air Marshal’s last name.

More Evidence of Palestinians, King Suleyman . . . Oh Wait, It’s the Jews & King Solomon

By Debbie Schlussel

More and more archeological evidence piles up every year, betraying the Palestinians’ specious claim that they ever had anything to do with Jerusalem or what is now the State of Israel.  Each time, the excavations find more Jewish construction and objects dating back thousands of years, but not a single item or structure from the so-called “Palestinians” or any other Arabic or Muslim community.  Although I’m jaded and not surprised by a single propaganda tactic or lie put forth by the artificially-created “Palestinians” and their Muslim allies, they have yet to point to a single ancient discovery that establishes any claim to these areas.  And all of this is, of course, on top of the Jewish Temple, of which the Western Wall remains.  It always was a Jewish site and has been there since ancient times.

Archeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar & Ancient Jewish Walls of Jerusalem

The latest is the recently excavated fortifications of Jerusalem, which date back 3,000 years to the time of King Solomon and King David and support the Biblical narrative about the area. Pottery found in the area bears ancient Hebrew, NOT Arabic. Ditto for royal seals bearing Hebrew names. It also answers that anti-Israel ignoramus, Pat Condell, and his baloney claims that Jerusalem was never a Jewish city.

“It’s the most significant construction we have from First Temple days in Israel,” says archeologist Eilat Mazar.

Ancient stone fortifications that were recently uncovered outside the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City date back some 3,000 years to the time of King Solomon and support the biblical narrative about the era, according to archeologist Dr. Eilat Mazar, who spoke to a group of reporters at the site on Monday.

Happy Purim! Fun & Most Politically Incorrect Holiday Ever (How Jewish U.S. Soldiers Celebrated)

By Debbie Schlussel

Tonight at sundown, the Jewish holiday of Purim began.  It’s one of my favorite Jewish holidays and lasts until tomorrow night.  “Purim” means “lots” or “lottery.” It’s the story of the Jewish people’s survival, when our absolute destruction was decreed by King Xerxes, after his evil advisor, Haman, got him to order it. And we’ve celebrated it ever since.

purimworldwari
purimworldwaria

Above is a Jewish Welfare Board greeting card which many Jewish American soldiers, fighting in World War I, sent home during Purim nearly a century ago. It’s from my personal collection of Jewish American U.S. military memorabilia. (And trust me, there were no Ramadan or Eid Al-Fitr cards coming home from World War I–there weren’t any Muslim soldiers fighting for the U.S. Armed Forces there. They simply don’t have the history of fighting for America from the very beginning that we do.)

Purim marks the victory of the Jews against the evil Persian advisor Haman and his decree to destroy the Jews. But more than that, it’s one of the most anti-feminist, politically incorrect holidays ever, even though a woman–Queen Esther–is the heroine. One of the villains, Zeresh–the wife of villain Haman, and one of the most annoying, whiny, henpecking wives in history–is also a woman. The Scroll of Esther, which we read tonight and, again, tomorrow, is full of her whining about her ambitions for her hubby, most of which are never realized. And then she’s hung on a tree along with her husband and her their ten sons. All of that is after drunken parties for men and a worldwide beauty contest. Here’s the story:

Proud of Team USA? Two Reasons Not to be

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m glad the 2010 Winter Olympics is finally ending, this weekend.  You know how I feel about the Olympics (see here, also). I didn’t watch a minute of it.

Some readers told me I should root for Team USA because it’s patriotic to do so and they stand for our country.  But, as I’ve noted, they don’t.  Many are a bunch of overpaid, spoiled professionals who have no allegiance to America, other than what their phony patriotism can earn them in endorsements or chicks or what have you.

olympicwomenshockeycrybabie

scottylago

Two examples of Team USA that should not make anyone proud–in fact, they are embarrassments–are Scotty Lago and the USA Women’s Hockey Team. Their behavior reminds me of the USA Hockey Team, back in 1998, when Chris Chelios and Brett Hull smashed furniture and trashed their rooms at the Nagano Winter Olympics. Plus they whined about accommodations because they did not have giant suites and First Class plane tix.  Lago and the women hockey players weren’t as bad.  But close enough.
