Big Business: Who Owns the Freedom Concerts? How Sean Hannity’s Private Jets, Luxe SUVs, Suites Were Paid

By Debbie Schlussel

Last week, I told you about Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concert scam and how the ultimate recipient of some of the proceeds, Freedom Alliance, spent millions on cronies and expenses, very little on severely wounded soldiers and scholarships for America’s fallen.  In fact, it’s far worse than I originally reported.  The scam is far bigger.  And it’s big business. . . . for cronies and friends of Sean Hannity and Oliver North.  I’ll be writing more in the coming days about the Freedom Alliance, itself, and where the money the charity receives is really going.

Duane Ward & Sean Hannity: Freedom Concerts are Big Business for Them

In fact, despite the written denials of both North and Freedom Alliance chief Thomas Kilgannon, Sean Hannity did NOT pay for his own private jet flights to the various Freedom Concerts.  In fact, the money for his expensive travel came right from the revenue of the Freedom Concerts, a big, profitable business, which isn’t owned or operated by Freedom Alliance.  While the charity is technically correct that Freedom Alliance didn’t pay for it in recent years, in fact Freedom Concert revenue, which is controlled by Hannity’s speaking engagement agents, did.  The operant question here is, who owns the Freedom Concerts?

The answer, according to an insider, is apparently Premiere Speakers Bureau, owned by Duane Ward, Oliver North’s longtime PR man, and the speaking engagement agent for both North and Hannity, as well as many FOX News and other conservative personalities.  Premiere runs the Freedom Concerts and owns the FreedomConcerts.com domain name, sells the Freedom Concerts merchandise, etc.  While only a $4 surcharge on Freedom Concert tickets goes to Freedom Alliance, the rest is controlled by Ward and his various companies.  I contacted Duane Ward via e-mail (duane@premierespeakers.com) and telephone.  He did not respond to questions, which included a request for Freedom Concerts’ financial records and an accounting of Freedom Concert revenues and Premiere travel arrangements for Hannity to fly in high-style to the events.  And the inside source–who asked to remain anonymous because of legitimate fears of retaliation by Ward and Hannity–says it’s a huge profit center for Ward and Premiere.

freedomconcertwhois

freedomconcertwhoisinfo

So huge that on May 3, 2008, Hannity hosted a Freedom Concert in Las Vegas, under the name, “Sean Hannity & Friends Freedom Concert,” but the concert was apparently not even connected to the Freedom Alliance.  A disabled retired Marine whom I know said:

I called Freedom Alliance and asked them about it and was told that they–Freedom Alliance–weren’t affiliated with this particular event, even though North would be there.

So where did the money go? Ask Duane Ward. The man needs to release a full accounting and all the financial records for these concerts.

While those buying tickets think all of the proceeds of the concerts go to the Freedom Alliance, in fact, none of the proceeds go to the charity, only the $4 surcharge.  The source confirmed that Premiere paid for Hannity (out of Freedom Concerts revenue) to fly to many of the concerts on private jets, along with his entourage, and the source confirms the conversation I described in my report last week, in which North scolded Hannity for wasting so much of the Freedom Concert money on private jets, swanky suites, and luxe SUVs.  The source is the second source to confirm the conversation. The particular conversation cited took place in 2008, and there were several witnesses to it, including one of Hannity’s radio producers, who is married to Oliver North’s former personal assistant. Don’t look for her to tell the truth . . . if either of them ever wants to work again.

Humorous Video: Finally, PETA a/k/a PUTAh Has a Point

By Debbie Schlussel

They’ve donated to eco-terrorists and pro-animal terrorists.  They’ve murdered dogs en masse.  And they’re just flat-out nuts.  But finally the minions of PETA–or as we call it here, PUTAh, People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans–have a point.

petaoctomom

Yes, I believe one should be able to have as many kids as she wants, provided it’s in a marriage and the taxpayers aren’t footing the bill.  But, by no means, do I support the OctoMom, Palestinian Nadya Suleman.  Not only did she soak taxpayers for millions of dollars in Medicaid and other entitlements, but she’s about to be kicked out of her home, unless . . . . Unless she accepts PETA’s offer to pay for her and the multi-kiddies to stay, so long as she posts this sign on her front lawn.  Well, to be accurate, PETA is actually only offering $5,000 (and a month’s supply of veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs for her and the kids).  But can this mother of a gazillion kids really afford to turn it down?  Still, you gotta ask:  is that all they can offer her after Bob Barker gave them millions?

Cue the funny video:

Bloody Brits: UK Expels Israeli Diplomat over Dubai House-Cleaning

By Debbie Schlussel

Since the faltering Dubai and Dubai World own like half of Great Britain and internal infestations of Muslim immigrants and residents control a good deal of the rest, it’s no surprise that the British were the first to cave over the Dubai assassination of Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh a/k/a “Abu Abed,” a known Islamic terrorist, and blame Israel.

Yesterday, the UK openly attacked Israel, accusing it of the Dubai clean-up on aisle eight, and expelling an Israeli diplomat connected with the Mossad.

Semantics of Vannity: New Hannity Soldiers Scam – “Buy My Book, (Non-Existent) Profits Go to Troops Charity”

By Debbie Schlussel

I recently told you about the scam called “Freedom Concerts” and the Freedom Alliance, the charity that spends most of its money on wasteful expenses and consultants and very little on severely wounded American soldiers and scholarships for the children of fallen soldiers.  I showed you that, while Hannity lied to his radio audience, stating that a $30,000 donation from Boca Java would pay for a whole year in college for one of these kids, in fact Freedom Alliance has yet to pay for the whole year in college for a single such child of an American soldier who died in battle.  In fact, I’ve since discovered that the scam is even larger than I originally reported, that in fact–despite his denials–Freedom Concert money, in fact, went to fly Hannity around the country in private jets and put him and his family and friends in swanky hotel suites.  I’ll be writing more about this in the coming days.

Wyclef Sean – New Hannity Scam:

“Buy My Book; [Non-Existent] ‘Profits’ Will go to Troops”

For now, though, let’s take a look at Hannity’s latest fraud on his blind followers and listeners.  Next week, “Conservative Victory,” Sean Hannity’s new book will be released.  Hannity said that he will donate all of the proceeds of the book to the Freedom Alliance. But that’s a semantics game and a cute trick.  In fact, few books–the biggest best sellers among them–ever have “proceeds” or “profits,” and that’s likely to be the case here.

That’s Conservative?: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Praises Silencing Ann Coulter

By Debbie Schlussel

As I’ve long told you, airhead/ignoramus Elisabeth Hasselbeck of ABC’s daytime hag-fest, “The View,” is hardly a conservative.  Whether it’s her praise of Snoop Dogg, transsexuals, gay marriage and gays in the military, Al Sharpton, affirmative action, Title IX, Obama’s choice of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, her claim that John McCain was the most conservative 2008 candidate for the Republican nomination for President, or her outing of a Federal Air Marshal live on the air, or any number of other ridiculous statements, the woman is clueless . . . until she gets her FOX News talking points.  And even then, she still doesn’t get it.

Two Mouths, But Only the Open One Needs Shutting

Today’s episode of the uber-annoying show took the cake.  While liberal Joy Behar defended Ann Coulter’s right to speak and decried officials’ decision to cancel a Coulter speech at a the University of Ottawa, Hasselbeck praised the move.  First, she said, “They did the right thing,” and muttered some of her typical stupidity about the safety of the students.  Then she went on and on about her multiple orgasms for Canada.

I’m so in love with Canada [DS:  reminds me of Angelina Jolie, saying, “I’m so in love with my brother right now] . . . . And they’ve done so much for this country, like what they did for us on 9/11.

Photo of the Day: Illegal Aliens Set Free by Obama White House Mock ICE, Show Off “Bracelets”

By Debbie Schlussel

As we know, Barack Obama’s next push–now that he’s achieved ObamaCare passage–is amnesty for illegal aliens, er . . . “comprehensive immigration reform.”

Esvin Blanco, Oved Vigil and Edwin Mazariegos: Illegal Aliens

Set Free By Obama White House Mock Immigration Enforcement @ Rally

The buzz around Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) headquarters in Washington is all about Sunday’s illegal alien rally in Washington.  While ICE agents were ordered to stay away, they were essentially mocked because illegal aliens–who long ago should have been deported–instead displayed their Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) monitoring and tracking ankle bracelets. Three illegal aliens who were arrested at Timbuktu restaurant in Maryland were paraded on-stage for the other illegal aliens to show off the arrest bracelets.  The Washington Post took pictures of Esvin Blanco, Oved Vigil and Edwin Mazariegos, happily showing off their new jewelry.  Two of the photos are posted above.

So why are they free . .  . when they should be deported and back in their native countries by now? The Obama White House specifically ordered them freed.

Did Hillary Clinton Endorse Removing Muslims From Israel?; AIPAC: Obama’s Partner in Amputating Israel

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to the annual convention of AIPAC–the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. And, as you may have heard, she attacked Israel and told it that it must give up more land and further amputate itself into oblivion–that Israel’s refusal to do this (after it’s already done so several times with no positive results) is the “obstacle” to peace.

hillaryclinton.jpg

aipac2.jpg

Since Hillary Supports Demographically Jewish Israel,

Time to Expel the Muslims Like They Expel the Jews

But, in her speech, she unwittingly gave Israel approval for something else that her logic must dictate:  removing Muslims from Israel’s land within the green zone.  After all, that is the only way, demographically, that Israel can survive as both a democracy and a Jewish State–both of which she admitted Israel should remain.  And that is the turnabout that’s fair play, since Clinton implicitly advocated no Jews in the so-called “territory” of the “Israeli occupation,” a term she used in her speech and the lingua franca of Al-Jazeera and the Muslim world.  More on that below.  But first a little bit about the forum in which Mrs. Clinton spoke, yesterday.

Trial Lawyer on ObamaCare: “Get Ready for $25 (or $30) Hamburgers”

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, I was talking to a good friend of mine, who is one of the most prominent trial lawyers in the Detroit area.  He’s a Republican and a staunch conservative on most fiscal issues . . . except what he does for a living.

$25 or $30 Under ObamaCare? Don’t Bet Against It.

My friend, the trial lawyer, and I were discussing the impending disaster to come as a result of the ObamaCare bill’s passage.  And we both decried it from a personal perspective, with my friend agreeing that this will significantly raise the prices of everything and how it will put many businesses out of work and cause a steep loss in jobs.

“But it’s great for trial lawyers like me,” my friend said.  “Get ready for $25 hamburgers.  Actually, with our lawsuits, maybe even $30 hamburgers.”

Muslim UN Peacekeepers Committed Rape, Dodge Discipline

By Debbie Schlussel

If American or Israeli soldiers did this, there would be outrage around the world.  And there would be courts-martial galore.

unpeacekeepers

But when United Nations “Peacekeepers” rape women and father children, well, it’s not only no big deal, but they escape any and all discipline.  Yup, for all of the Blacks who convert to Islam, it’s bad enough that Muslims first traded them into slavery (and in many places still have them as slaves today).  But if that doesn’t make the case for them, this example of 14 Muslim U.N. soldiers engaging in “wide-spread sexual exploitation and abuse” against Blacks in the Ivory Coast should at least make a dent. And it’s yet another reason the U.S. should do what it doesn’t have the guts to: get out of the U.N.  There’s a reason they call the U.N. “peacekeepers,” the “beasts in blue berets.”  Or as my friend, Dean, says, “Muslim peacekeepers, the official definition of oxymoron.”

As the United Nations worked to restore peace and protect women and children in Africa’s troubled Cote d’Ivoire three years ago, it announced it was investigating “serious allegations of wide-spread sexual exploitation and abuse.”

Shockingly, the alleged perpetrators were with the U.N.—Moroccan troops serving as peacekeepers.

A confidential probe by U.N. and Moroccan investigators turned up evidence that 14 soldiers were involved, according to a person familiar with the matter; DNA analysis showed some of them had fathered children with the victims. But the U.N. has never disclosed the results of the investigation or whether any of the soldiers were punished.

Muslim “Democracy”: Iraq Refuses Recount After Rejecting 50% of Christian Votes

By Debbie Schlussel

Did our American soldiers really go to Iraq to fight and die so that Shi’ite Muslim extremists tied to Iran could take over?  Sure seems like it.

Last week, I told you about the rejection of 30% of American, mostly Christian votes cast in the Iraqi elections.  I’ve since learned from Chaldean (Iraqi Catholic) sources in the Detroit area that at least 50% of their votes were thrown out, in order to keep Shi’ite Muslims in power and help Iran-friendly extremist and murderer Muqtada Al-Sadr gain power (as he did in the elections).  As I noted, this is the “democracy” that Wall Street Journal columnist Bret Stephens said shows us that Iraqis “love democracy more” than Westerners do.

nochristiansiraqielection

“Elections”: Iraq’s Faux-Democracy is For Muslims Only

Now, more of this Bret Stephens delusion:  despite throwing out the ballots of the Iraqi Christians (who’ve largely been driven out of their country via death threats, kidnapping, murder, and other forms of persecution and violent intimidation), the Iraqi electoral commission refused to have a recount.

Iraq’s electoral commission on Sunday brushed aside increased pressure from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other politicians demanding a recount in the close parliamentary race that could unseat the incumbent leader and other officials who have dominated Iraq’s transition to democracy.
