Sadly, many mainstream media sources (like Matt Drudge-yes, he’s now part of the mainstream media, whether you admit it or not) and much of Britain is in love with Nick Clegg of the UK’s Liberal Democrat party.  Clegg is leading in the polls and may very well be the next Prime Minister.  But he’s dangerous because he has dangerous alliances . . . with the Arab Street and the Islamic world.

Clegg is tight with Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi Muslim billionaire who supports HAMAS and helped fund a boat convoy to Gaza to provide aid and comfort to the terrorist group.  And he funds one of the most anti-Semitic, anti-Israel websites in Great Britain.  That’s not to mention that the sleazy Auchi is part of the Tony Rezko/Barack Obama axis and was involved in some of their many improper dealings.

Unlike the conventional wisdom, I think Sammy Hagar was the better Van Halen lead singer than David Lee Roth (though Diamond Dave was quite great, himself–like on “Running With the Devil”).  And the market bears it out, since Hagar as lead singer sold more VH albums than DLR did in the same capacity.  Below is the video of my fave Sammy Tune, which is part of my workout music and is on my Zune and iPod.  And I think it stands the test of time.  It’s part of pre-Van Halen Sammy and part of what got him the job fronting Van Halen.  So am I right that this is a classic?  Or is it a cheesy relic from ’80s hair bands?  And whom did you like better as Van Halen’s lead (and, please, no votes for Gary Charone)? Hagar, BTW, is a strong supporter of the troops and a conservative-leaning libertarian who refused to participate in lefty anti-War stuff during the first Gulf War. Could have done without the lewd title of the album, “Standing Hampton,” though.

Below that video is another video of what may be the most interesting/odd pairing of rock and country, with Kenny Chesney and Hagar singing the song in December.  Could make a good country song, too, if done right.  Strong language alert at the end. As you watch, pretend you’re sipping from a bottle of Cabo Wabo Tequila (“Vitamin T”).

When I was a little kid, my dad would buy me Archie comics to read on the Jewish Sabbath.  The comic books were given as a special treat.  My dad loved comics as a kid, had a big collection of Archie and Captain Marvel comics, and wanted to pass that interest along to me.  (Unfortunately, most of our collection got ruined in a basement flood.)

But, if he were still alive, I doubt he’d give a seven-year-old daughter (that was the age he started giving me the comic books to read) today’s Archie Comics.  You see, they’re pushing a new openly gay character on kids.  Kevin Keller is his name, and Betty and Veronica are more interested in him than Archie.  (I went to elementary school with a kid named Kevin Keller; perhaps he should sue for defamation.)  It’s kind of sad that children are exposed to this stuff and pimped on it at such earlier and earlier ages.  Forget about any kids today really having a childhood.  That concept is gone and over.  Kaput.  Now, little kids will read about “Kevin.”

I’ve been writing about the uber-fraud who calls himself “Dr. Phil” for years.  The same goes for his wife, Mrs. Phil, and his son, Son of Phil, all of whom have pushed their accomplishments of nothing onto America and turned it into a waste-of-time advice-giving media empire for suckers.  (His friend, Sean Vannity, even had him on his radio show to give people financial advice.  A con artist and a snake oil salesman are quite a pair.)

His real name is MR. Phillip McGraw. From now on, I’m calling “Dr.” Phil, “Dr. Mr. Phil.”  The guy isn’t a doctor.  And since I have a J.D. degree, I’m actually more of a doctor than he is.  But I wouldn’t dispense any advice to you on how to live your personal life.  Only Dr. Feel can do that.  He has a degree from the University of Oprah Medical School.  (I think his degree is signed by Art Vandelay.)  The guy’s name is Mr. McGraw.  Anything else ain’t accurate.

Sadly, though, this uber-annoying verbal manufacturer of worthless New Age honky-tonk twattle is venturing out beyond his usual “telling you how to live” baloney.  And, today, he’s telling America that we are being mean to Muslims.  His show’s topic, today, is some Muslim woman’s claim that her kids are being bullied because of their religion (and I’m sure that’s the reason one of her sons is in jail, too, right?).  Check out the video preview, above. Even more sad, this isn’t the first time that Dr. Feel (my other name for this mustachioed TV charlatan) has ventured into the brown-my-nose-with-Islam business.

Remember Maria Pinto?  She’s Michelle Obama’s high-priced clothing designer–the one who was the toast of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post fashionistas.  Or, rather, she was.  But not anymore.

Along with so many American businesses taxed to death and neither helped nor saved by Barack Obama’s and the Democrats’ wasteful stimulus package and other spending, Pinto went out of business and closed up shop.  Times are bad for everyone .  .  . even the First Ms. Thang’s clothier.  The Obamas stimulated no-one. Ditto for HRHSBotU [Her Royal Highness Supreme Being of the Universe] Oprah, for whom Pinto also made clothes.

Pinto’s shop–where her haute couture duds sold for thousands of dollars–opened in the summer of 2008, when morons and naifs across America thought Obama would save the country and pave our streets with candy and gold. Her West Side Chicago boutique quietly closed, last month, with nary a peep. Why?

For years, I’ve repeatedly written about the myth of “Islamic modesty.” It’s bunk, but we somehow assign an exoticism and strange respect for devout Muslims who actually engage in some of the worst sexual, immodest practices, including using young boys as sex slaves all over the Islamic world (something I’ve also written about).  And our hand-picked Prime Minister, Afghanistan’s Hamid Karzai, actually allows this pimping and human trafficking of poor, young boys to devout Muslims to gang rape them.  And that’s after they make the boys wear women’s clothing and dance for them.  It’s truly disgusting.  If you saw the movie or read the book, “The Kite Runner” (read my review), you are probably familiar with the practice.

You must watch this video of last night’s “Frontline” on this (for some reason the embed code isn’t working, so PLEASE click on the link and watch–it’s important).  It will blow your mind.  Even though I knew about this stuff, it blew mine–the brazen statements and excuses for raping young kids.  They even have a brazen name for it:  “Bacha Bazi” or “Boy Play.”  FINALLY, PBS a/k/a Palestinian Broadcasting Service did something right!  I commend producer Jamie Doran for making this film.  But I have the utmost respect for the courageous Afghan journalist in exile, Najibullah Quraishi, for having the bravery and guts to do this, even though it surely puts a death sentence on him.  Why are our soldiers there?  Why are they dying for these people who pimp out their kids, their nephews for gang rape?  When Muslims do this to their own, no-one cares.  When Israelis build a few apartments on their own land, that’s cause for outrage.

Here are some previews followed by my summary of some of the disturbing stuff, Afghan police and government officials all in on the slavery and pimping of young boys for sex, and many of them admitting they like to have sex with these kids.

Again, PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE THING!.

The most disturbing parts of this program were the frank, shameless talk by many Afghan men about having sex with (actually, raping) these young boys, as if it’s nothing, no big deal. Ditto for the parents and relatives who knowingly sell their kids into this for money.

You’ve probably read about Barack Obama’s allegedly “stepped-up” outreach to Muslims in America (and elsewhere).  So far, it’s no different than Bush’s disgusting Islamo-pandering, and it’s just as bad.  It’s something I’ve been upset about since Bush’s first run for President when his ass-kissing was so fierce, he beat out Al Gore for the Islamic endorsement (which didn’t help him much at all).  And now, of course, it’s just as execrable coming from Obama.  Also, as you probably know, federal and local law enforcement are also doing the uber wet butt-kiss to Islam (when they should be doing a Butkus tackle on Islam).

So, recently, Reuters interviewed me on the topic for it’s “Special Report: U.S. Shifts Gears to Tackle Homespun Terrorism.”  And here’s a tiny chunk of what I said, as the only non-Muslim and non-appeasement proponent:

“Outreach is a joke,” said conservative commentator Debbie Schlussel, who advocates being tough on mosques and immigration. “Muslims don’t respect people who kowtow to them. I think they respect those whom they fear.”

I don’t recall adding the “I think” part. Because it’s not an “I think” kind of thing. It’s fact to anyone who knows anything about the Arab and Islamic worlds.

This has to be the most ridiculous release-without-charges of an apparent shoe bombing terrorist attempt yet.

Who Needs Foam/Gel Lifts, When You Can Have the Comfort of Shrapnel/Batteries?

A guy tries to get on a plane with batteries and shrapnel in his shoes, and the authorities buy his excuse that he–ya know–just wanted to look taller.  Wow, a great, comfortable, novel idea for lifts.  Because batteries and shrapnel in shoes would never be used as a shoe bomb.  And anyone who thinks so is an anti-Muslim, alarmist bigot, right?

Who needs foam inserts or Dr. Scholl’s gel inserts, when you can enjoy the comfort of walking on shrapnel and batteries?  And then they not only release the guy, but discuss whether or not he’d be reimbursed for a missed flight.  Incredible.  Incredibly stupid.  More stupid?  That this guy who uses shrapnel and batteries to “look taller” on planes is now in the U.S.  YAY!!!  Lucky us.

Police say a man stopped at Toronto’s Pearson airport today with suspicious material has been released without charge.

As I’ve said over and over and over again, there is no such thing as moderate Islam.  By definition, it’s an extremist religion.  And whenever we are told that American Muslims are “moderate” because of their education and opportunities here, it’s bunk.  Nidal Malik Hasan was exhibit #56,122 of that.

And now here’s Exhibit #59,376, Abdulllah Mohammed Muslim a/k/a Johnnie P. Clagg, whom I meant to get to, last week. It’s hard to keep up. Interesting to note is that the public cannot access his plea agreement, which appears to be sealed. Read the Criminal Information in the federal case against him, as well as the Federal Criminal Complaint against him in a previous case, now consolidated with the current one. This guy is dangerous.

Federal officials said on Friday that a large amount of weapons were found at the home of a man who allegedly stole the identity of someone bound to a wheelchair and suffering from cerebral palsy, and used it to try to flee the country.

Abdullah Mohammed Muslim, formerly known as Johnnie Clagg, faces felony gun charges, 10TV’s Andy Hirsch reported.

Watch this Boing Boing interview with “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.  They’re celebrating their 200th episode and they want to mock Mohammed.  But, in the past, ViaCom, parent company of Comedy Central, on which their show is broadcast, refused to let their Mohammed episode air.  They discuss this and their planned attempt to bring back Mohammed.  They’re right on target, ripping on the New York Times, Viacom, Comedy Central, etc. for all kowtowing to Islamic extremism.  (Thanks, reader Duane.)
