If you’re wondering why college tuition costs so much for something so useless as a college degree, you might wanna check out tonight’s edition of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

On the show, a college professor will display her absolutely worthless area of expertise on the backs of hard-working American parents paying tuition to fund her unnecessary salary.  And there are many, many academics and researchers on university payrolls studying similarly useless items and concepts that are of absolutely no use or necessary application in the real world.  Of course, there are many reasons college costs too much–from lazy professors who teach an hour a week and have tenure to lazy administrators who collect high salaries for pushing paper in giant university bureaucracies.  But esoteric wastes of time like this are a huge part of the problem:

Over the years I’ve warned people about Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.  He talks tough, but usually relents and gives in to the enemies of Israel and those who apply pressure on the country.  He did it during the Clinton Presidency when he was ready to give the Palestinians a good deal of Israel through the Wye Accords.  Fortunately, that disaster was avoided when Yasser Arafat said no.  But now there is no recalcitrant Arafat.  There is the more political Abbas, a better pretender.

And now Netanyahu–despite talking tough about the 1,600 apartments being built in Jerusalem–has quietly halted all building in the Eastern part of the city.  It isn’t the first time either.  Since he took office, he’s frequently frozen building on the so-called West Bank by Jews on Jewish land that they own.  And he even dismantled some settlements there. It takes his more lefty opposition to point out that Netanyahu’s public swagger is fake, as usual. And he’s doing it to appease Barack Obama. The pressure behind the scenes must be very great from the Obamaniks. But Netanyahu’s strength must be greater.

– Israel’s main opposition party said on Monday the government has quietly frozen approval of Jewish housing projects in East Jerusalem in a bid to heal a rift with Washington and coax the Palestinians into peace talks.

Many readers are asking me to comment on Arizona’s new law doing the job that some Americans–the feds–won’t do.

Arizona Has to Do the Job DHS’ Lesbionic Woman, ICE’s Moron Won’t Do

I didn’t think it needed comment because, of course, I support it.  Why wouldn’t I?  It’s essentially a law deputizing and requiring Arizona local and state cops to enforce immigration laws already on the books.  And I’m not worried about threats of boycotts.  Won’t hurt the state.  Most Americans support what Arizona is doing.  If illegal aliens boycott the state, well . . . that’s the aim, isn’t it?  And Mexico’s President condemning the law–ha, what a joke!  He’s just mad that he’ll actually have to feed and support his people instead of Arizonans.  Look at his immigration laws–much tougher than Airzona’s.  The only reason Arizona needed to do this is because we have a giant federal government agency charged with enforcing these laws that just isn’t doing the job. (And because the current head of Homeland Security didn’t do her job when she headed Arizona.)

Agents at ICE–Immigration and Customs Enforcement–have repeatedly told me they are not allowed to arrest any illegal aliens unless they are violent criminals.  Moreover, even to arrest those, they have to fill out about seven tedious forms AND get approval from ICE headquarters in Washington.  That isn’t how a nation polices its borders and interior and enforces immigration laws.  It’s how a government intentionally invents extra layers of bureaucracy to ensure that large numbers of new Obama voters and workers for greedy businesses who don’t want to pay Americans a decent wage are allowed to enter the country and stay here.  The Obama-niks don’t want Arizona’s law because it betrays their claim that we need amnesty for illegal aliens because we “can’t” solve the problem.  Uh, Barack, Yes. We. Can.  Arizona will enforce the law and show we need to send illegal aliens packin’– not roll-out the amnesty welcome mat–to tackle the problem.

To all of my struggling fellow Americans who are out of work, struggling to save their business, or trying to start a new one but starved for cash, time to convert to Islam.  That stuff in the Constitution’s Establishment Clause about Congress not establishing a national religion–well that’s all bunk, unless you’re talkin’ Christianity or Judaism.

But Islam, well . . . Barack Obama is using your tax dollars to help Muslims start businesses.  Alhamdillullah [praise allah], Uncle Sam is a sucker.

Oh, and by the way, who said Muslims needed help being entrepreneurs.  They have the worldwide market on IEDs cornered better than Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd cornered orange juice in “Trading Places.”  And in places like Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, they’ve cornered the market on marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs.  And their fellow Muslims in Afghanistan have the whole poppy opium thing covered.  And that’s not to mention the many sex trade entrepreneurs throughout the Gulf States and Afghanistan, selling Afghan and Sri Lankan ten-year-olds as sex slaves.  Do they really need our help to do more of that?

And while Americans are struggling all over the place, is our money best spent helping our unrepentant, condescending enemy laugh at us and our butt-kissing efforts yet again?

Barry Obama seems to think that’s the ticket. Just how much this little extravaganza is costing the U.S. taxpayer, no one is saying. But you can bet it’s neatly hidden in the State Department budget.

Delivering on a promise he made nearly a year ago, President Obama will host a two-day entrepreneurship summit beginning Monday designed to improve relations with the Muslim world.

Several months ago, I told you about Barack Obama’s boneheaded plan to put women in Navy submarines, where there are very close quarters, and thus, sanitary and sex issues.  It’s not a good idea.  And as I noted, when women were put on ships, it immediately resulted in many of them getting pregnant, with many of them having to be sent home during the first Gulf War on one ship alone.

But logic, facts, and consequences aren’t important to the Obama administration, especially not as important as pleasing special interests, like the feminist crowd.  So, the Obama-niks okayed it, and women are now being phased into Navy subs.

And the Obama people are declaring victory, no problems, everything’s a success.  Obama’s Navy Secretary Ray Mabus says  he’s getting “little or no resistance inside the Navy” since announcing he’s letting women serve aboard.

PUH-LEEZE.  Imagine you are an officer in the Navy, perhaps a commanding officer of many troops, maybe even a high-ranking Admiral.

Those who committed treason during Vietnam and helped us lose a war in the media that we were winning on the ground continue to be rewarded handsomely.  Their bad deeds never even mentioned.  Last year, when Walter Cronkite died, he was lionized . . . everywhere–on FOX News and on CNN, on ABC and CBS News and on MSNBC.  I was one of the few to speak the truth on this media emperor with no clothing and traitor who savaged America’s soldiers and helped ensure that more of them died.

And so it goes with Jane Fonda.  There is never a mention of her treasonous activities with the Viet Cong  while our soldiers were fighting them.  There is never a mention of her most famous workout video–when she posed with a tank and the anti-aircraft gun pointed at our troops, while they were dying at Viet Cong hands. But forget about that. Today’s USA Today has a whole page about her new workout video, with a quote from this traitor about how “unconscionable” it is that our country “is as unfit as it is.” Wow, that’s unconscionable. But betraying our young fighting men on enemy soil–that’s not unconscionable? Glad someone–an aging, spoiled bimbo–has a sense of perspective. And the traitoratrix is hosting World Fitness Day on Saturday in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome. I hope there will be protests. Her body may be fit, but the mind of someone who can help kill American soldiers is a sick one.

The Only Jane Fonda Exercise Videos You Need to Watch . . .

Yup, no mention by USA today about her traitorous activities. Just more baloney PR bunk about her latest workout video.  I thought she was done making these, especially after it came out that Fonda was thin because she consistently stuck her finger down her throat as an admitted bulimic.  But I guess I was wrong.  There are apparently fools who will still produce her phony, fraudulent workout tapes, there are still fools who will promote them, and still fools who will buy them.

As you know, my expose on Sean Hannity’s Freedom Alliance charity scam cheating severely wounded troops and the children of the fallen and my follow-up on the Freedom Concert fraud and profits, and how Hannity’s private jet rides were funded resulted in Charity Navigator cutting the charity’s rating in half and reducing its rating to “needs improvement.” It also resulted in FOX News calling Hannity back from the Cincinnati Tea Party and the people running the tea party being forced to post a budget of their spending and costs of the event online. Everything he touches turns to . . . well, the same substance that comes out of his mouth–very rich fertilizer from which nothing grows.

Sadly, some people don’t get it. Or rather, they do get it, but they want to get on FOX News and so they keep their lips firmly planted on Hannity’s exhaust pipe. And that especially goes for a fraudulent, exaggerated, and flat-out lying, so-called “debunking” of my work, which actually debunked nothing at all. The item was written by a puka-shell-wearing stooge of spineless David Frum, named Tim Mak. (I’m told that the reason Frum did a 180 after initially praising my investigation of Hannity got a call from FOX News people, including Hannity himself, telling him that if he ever wanted to be on FOX News again . . . . I’m also told it was a desperate attempt to keep his job at AEI, which he lost anyway. So sad, too bad.)

It’s another stay-home-from-the-theater-you’ll-thank-me weekend.  Both new movies at the box office stank.  But if you must go, see “The Losers,” which is waaaay better than the execrable “The Back-Up Plan,” which you must skip at any cost.

*  “The Back-Up Plan“:  To say that I hate-hate-hated this movie would be an understatement.  One of the most painfully annoying and horrible movies I’ve seen in recent months.  It’s only April, but I can confidently say that this will make my year’s top 10 worst movies.  It was that bad.  And, yes, it was a chick flick to boot.  But that’s not what made it painful.

Okay, so I don’t really know if the NFL Draft sucks.  ‘Cuz I’m not watching.

Nor are most people.  They’re at work.  Who schedules an NFL draft during weekdays?  Only a bonehead.  The draft is supposed to be non-football season watching for football fans.  It should be on a Sunday (or a Saturday and Sunday).  Not during the week.

Then, they have this stupid red carpet during the draft and who is on it?!  Two words that make all men and all football fans want to change the channel as quickly as possible:  Whoopi.  Golberg.  Yes, you read that right.  Not Bill Goldberg.  Whoopi “I make men celibate” Goldberg.  It’s the NFL Draft, for crying out loud.  They’re supposed to have sports geeks and hot supermodels.  Not the most annoying, most unattractive Marxist hag on television.  What were they thinking?  And trust me, it won’t bring more women to the NFL fan base.  They like to look at the  hot women, too.  It’s aspirational.  Nobody–man or woman–aspires to looking or sounding like Whoopi Goldberg.  No-one.

On Saturday Night, HBO will premiere, “You Don’t Know Jack,” its version of the saga of Jack Kevorkian a/k/a “Dr. Death.”  Instead of the cold-blooded, macabre performer of euthanasia murders, this movie portrays Kevorkian as some sort of saint, some sort of civil rights crusader.

And he even gets one of the greatest contemporary actors, Al Pacino, to portray him (and although Pacino uses a Sarah Palin accent, not a Detroit-area one, he’s a dead ringer for Kevorkian).  From cold-hearted mob boss and killer Michael Corleone at the beginning of his career to cold-hearted killer with a medical degree Jack Kevorkian, at his career’s twilight, Pacino has come full circle in masterfully glamorizing what are essentially thugs who take human lives against the law and the dictates of a moral society.  One wore fancy Italian suits and headed up a Cosa Nostra family.  The other wears old, ratty, Mr. Rogers style cardigan sweaters.  But they aren’t that different, other than that Kevorkian’s victims made appointments to get whacked.

The gushing in the Detroit area and on the national stage is deafening this week.  There is so much unearned drool over Kevorkian, it could supply water for the entire Third World.  But let’s be clear.  Kevorkian was a mass murderer, not a savior or a great humanitarian.  He wasn’t even much of a doctor, having lost much of his ability to practice because of a series of strange behavior and action throughout his career.  Kevorkian’s “hobby” was painting sick photos of dismembered and disemboweled humans.  Look at this disgusting painting he made depicting himself and a beheaded human at dinner. Yes, there’s something wrong with the guy, a lot wrong.
