Testing the System . . . Again: RFK Triborough Bridge U-Haul an Obvious Dry Run

By Debbie Schlussel

Tonight, the news world is abuzz about an abandoned U-Haul truck on New York’s busy RFK a/k/a Triborough Bridge.  If you’ve ridden on that bridge, as I have many times, you know that it’s a very busy bridge, even in the middle of the night, and an important artery connecting the Manhattan island to some of its boroughs.

triboroughbridge

A man abandoned the truck on the bridge, near the toll booth, and an employee at the booth smelled leaking gasoline.  Plus, the driver left the truck on the way to New York City and ran away, according to several witnesses.  The bridge was shut down as bomb technicians and other law enforcement officials checked the truck out.  They found it to be harmless. . . .  Or was it?  Sure looks like this is a dry run.  After all, police haven’t found the driver and are looking to speak with him.

Bush–Not Obama–Approved Most of Terrorist Shahzad’s Visas, Citizenship Papers, Allowed Stay in US

By Debbie Schlussel

Miss Bush yet? No, I don’t. It wasn’t as grand as you nostalgia-afflicted fantasists believe. I don’t want Obama, either. But Bush paved the way for him. And the story of Times Square Islamic terrorist Faisal Shahzad is a big reason why.

Brought to You by Bush

In the last day, I’ve received several e-mails and comments from readers and others asking me if I blame President Obama for Shahzad’s presence in the U.S.

No, I blame President Bush.  Sorry, but we have to be intellectually honest here.  Shahzad’s visas and various applications for citizenship were approved, nearly every step of the way by President Bush–the man who pushed through rubber-stamping of many Islamic immigration requests and increased the number of Muslim immigrants and visas to Muslim entrants into this country.

Shahzad originally came here on an F-1 student visa, which he was granted in December 1998. President Clinton’s administration granted the visa, because, sadly, we don’t refuse Muslim student visas–and even sadder, President Bush deliberately quadrupled the number of Muslim student visas Clinton gave out, a promise to Bush’s Saudi buddies. When Shahzad was no longer in school–during the Bush Administration–Bush made no effort to deport Shahzad, as his student visa was no longer valid and he was here illegally. Instead, Bush’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement chieftess, Julie L. Myers, gave ICE agent brass bonuses for the number of visa violator files they closed, whether or not they actually tried to find the people.

After he was no longer a student, Shahzad applied in April 2002 for an H1-B visa, and was granted this. After all, the Bush Administration was big on the baloney that there aren’t enough skilled workers and we need to bring them here (to take American jobs). What was his “specialty occupation,” a requirement for an H1-B? Apparently, it was making failed bombs because the guy worked as a financial analyst, a job plenty of Americans could do but can’t because guys like him steal the jobs away at lower wages. Another failure of the Bush immigration machine, as it declined to investigate and prosecute most H1-B visa fraud.

“Los Suns” for Los Morons: NBA Team Protests Arizona Law, Honors NBA’s . . . “Hispanic Heritage”?!

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m not surprised that the NBA’s Phoenix Suns team is attacking the Arizona immigration law with “Los Suns” jerseys in protest, today.  Frankly, I think the team is bigoted, because they’ve abandoned the chance to honor a whole category of illegal aliens who go as “Al-Suns.”  (The same goes for the San Antonio Spurs, who are playing as Los Spurs.)  I think Arizona CAIR should file a discrimination suit.

illegalalienssmaller2.jpglossuns

Sports teams are generally politically correct panderers.  They can afford to be.  Sports team execs know they can get away with it because sports fans are generally unprincipled morons who won’t give up watching their favorite teams play or wearing their favorite licensed NBA gear, to take a stand in favor of enforcing our borders.  So what if an Islamic terrorist or murdering alien thug is now living in Arizona because they snuck in?  They need their pro hoops fix.  And nothing will stop them.  Not even the internal destruction of this country by the invasion of lawbreakers.

The people who care about our borders are generally not NBA fans.  They don’t walk around in stupid NBA jerseys and gullibly buy every new uniform change  and Air Moron sneaker to make people like Suns owner Robert Sarver–who blasted the new immigration law–and Kobe Bryant even richer. They have principles and care about this country and its national security more than a score or a dunk by some abnormally tall freak of nature who will be filing for bankruptcy six years from now.

NBA fans are largely stupid, and that’s why the NBA is lying to them.  As part of its protest of the Arizona immigration law, the Suns are involved in the NBA’s “Noche Latina,” honoring the NBA’s “Hispanic heritage.”  Hilarious.  The NBA has a “Hispanic heritage”?

Good News: Feds/Justice Dept Hard @ Work Prosecuting Hardened Criminals

By Debbie Schlussel

I wrote about this case before. But it gets even more ridiculous.

tigerwoodsgatorade

While Islamic terrorists roam the country along with criminal illegal aliens and other hardened criminal perpetrators, our Justice Department is going after the “real” criminal problem:   a dude who altered the labels on a few Gatorade bottle to show pics of Tiger Woods, with a notation about him cheating on his wife.

Yup, that’s the crime of the century.  The guy should have been fined by the local prosecutor.  But, instead, it became a federal case . . . literally.  Even FDA agents were involved, because there are apparently no more serious problems with our food or drugs, right?  Yes, we have an interest in promoting food safety.  But come on.  And there’s no evidence any of the contents were tampered with.  It was just a smart-alecky joke.

A Colorado man who replaced labels on dozens of Gatorade bottles with an image of Tiger Woods and his wife and the word “unfaithful” has been sentenced to two years of probation and fined $1,000.

Hmmm . . . Luggage From Amsterdam Explodes in America, But No Way It’s Muslim, Right? (Gotta Be a Wiccan Terrorist)

By Debbie Schlussel

So, let’s see.  Luggage on a plane from Amsterdam–the same departure point from which Islamic terrorist undiebomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab flew–blows up in a Texas airport.  Gotta be Wiccan or Zoroastrian terrorists, right?  The Religion of Peace would never ever do such a thing.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Police Detonate Suspicious Bag at Bush Airport: Ground crews reported small explosion in luggage

HOUSTON – A reported small explosion in a bag at Bush Intercontinental Airport led officers to detonate a piece of luggage, airport officials said.

It all started while airport ground crews were removing luggage from a flight that just arrived from Amsterdam.

According to the Houston Airport System, it was around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday when a “pop” was heard and smoke could be seen coming from a suitcase. Crews had already offloaded the luggage and placed it on the tarmac when the smoke was seen.

I’m sure it was a “moderate” Muslim bomb. That’s why it was only a “minor” explosion. No worries.

HipHop Curriculum: Your Day in the DeeKline of PublicK SKoOL EdYOOKayshun

By Debbie Schlussel

Got problems with students who can only, um, “converse” in Ebonics and don’t want to learn real English, math, or American history?

Meet Your Kids’ New Publick Skool Teachahz

Well, Hip Hop Hooray.  Do I have a curriculum for you!  My law school and business school alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has an “if you can’t educate ’em, join ’em” way to further downgrade your teaching skills and finally “get down with the struggle” and be real with your students.

Among the new high-flown languages in which you’ll be “educated” (or rather de-educated) to speak is “Nuyorican.”  And here’s more on this scintillating way of using hip-hop in the classroom (because our students aren’t dumbed-down nearly enough). Love that multi-culturalism.

Hip-hop workshop focuses on teaching tools

Now celebrating its fifth year, the Hip-Hop Educator and Community Leader Training Institute will be held on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus from July 7-11. . . .

Boneheaded: Obama/Hillary Reveal Number of U.S. Nukes

By Debbie Schlussel

In the wake of the news about the capture of Times Square Islamic terrorist Faisal Shahzad, another important story from yesterday is going largely by the wayside:  Barack Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s deliberate and boneheaded disclosure of the number of nuclear warheads to the world.

obamasmiling.jpghillaryclinton.jpg

ahmadinejadsmile.jpgnuclearbomb

Although experts guessed the number of nukes we have and were fairly close to the number, no-one ever knew for sure.  And it was a guarded national security secret, for obvious reasons.  But no longer, now that ObamaClinton decided to spill the beans at the United Nations at the start of a conference to review the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

So, why on earth did BarackHillary give this secret away?  Well, they have this stupid notion that if we disclose the reduced number (far too reduced, frankly) of warheads we have now, we’ll convince China and Iran to be more open and reduce theirs, too.

Avoiding Prison for Manslaughter: Tackiest First Lady Memoir Ever

By Debbie Schlussel

Let’s be intellectually honest about something regarding Laura Bush v. Michelle Obama.

If Michelle Obama ran over and killed a guy because she was “distracted” while driving and too busy talking to her friend, we’d be all over it.  And we’d be wondering why the heck she was never charged with manslaughter or vehicular homicide.  We’d be asking why no jail time was served. I know that I would.

“Religion of Peace” Sandwich: This Photo Strangely Missing From Mrs. Bush’s Tacky Memoir

But that’s never been the case with Laura Bush.  It’s something I’ve written about before because it really bothers me, but it seems like I’m the only one who wonders how she got away with it.  If you or I ran over and killed someone–especially an ex-boyfriend (very suspicious)–at age 17, we’d be criminally charged and convicted.  And we’d serve, at a minimum, a few months, but, more likely, a few years in prison.  Unfortunately, even though Laura Bush ran someone over and killed him, she never did a day’s worth of punishment.  Why not?  She admits it was her fault.  I’ve asked about this before.  But now that this woman is making it the centerpiece and focal marketing point of her bland, waste-of-time First Lady tell-all, Spoken from the Heart, I’m simply disgusted. More like “Spoken from a Killer.”

This woman got away with taking a life.  She escaped punishment.  And now, so many decades later, she’s chosen to punish the family whose son’s life she took, yet again, by media-whoring herself on the dead man’s back.  They have to relive this so she can make more big bucks. It’s sleazy.

“Foreclosure” of Times Sq Bomber: Yet Another Islamic Terrorist Commits Mortgage Fraud

By Debbie Schlussel

Times Square bomber and Islamic terrorist Faisal Shahzad didn’t just try to commit violent jihad by committing mass carnage in Times Square.  He also committed economic jihad through mortgage fraud.  He was not merely “in foreclosure,” as the mainstream media is reporting.  That’s passive, when you can’t pay your bills.  He deliberately committed mortgage fraud.  That’s active and planned.  And it’s a frequent tool of Islamic terrorists and other Muslims defrauding the system.

mortgagefraudfaisalshahzad

For many years, I’ve written about large scale Muslim mortgage fraud rings (including here and here among many others).  A good deal of them are involved in Hezbollah and HAMAS financing.  In fact, there is so much mortgage fraud tied to Hezbollah that more than one in every five homes in Dearbornistan, where Shi’ite Muslims dominate, has been foreclosed.  And the high numbers in Dearborn and Muslim-dominated sections of Detroit have helped push Michigan into the top five states for mortgage fraud.

No & No: Since Times Sq Bomber is Muslim, Will Mayor Bloomberg Apologize for Defaming Us? Will NBC Fire Incompetent “Terrorism Expert” Kohlmann?

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, despite all the evidence pointing to the fact that the attempted bombing of New York Times Square was the work of an Islamic terrorist–including the Pakistani Taliban claiming credit–New York City Mayor and uber-liberal Michael Bloomberg continued to spout his left-wing BS and claim that the terrorist was probably someone who doesn’t like ObamaCare “or something.”  That’s what he told CBS’ Katie Couric (beginning at the 2:20 point in the video, below). And even reports surfaced that authorities were closing in on a Paki-American, Bloomberg continued to deny there was a terrorist connection (despite the fact that when someone tries to bomb thousands of innocent civilians, that IS terrorism).

islamiccrescent.jpgbloomberg

So, now that Faisal Shahzad, the Islamic terrorist who tried to bomb Times Square, has been caught–just in the nick of time before he was about to go Dubai-Bye–will Mayor Bloomberg say he’s sorry?  Will he apologize to those of us who want reasonable, market-based healthcare not run by the government, for defaming us as terrorists who would blow up hundreds or thousands of fellow Americans?

Don’t count on it.

Oh, and another similarly incompetent, misinformed idiot is NBC terrorism expert Evan Kohlmann, the bizarre, know-nothing, who doesn’t speak Arabic, doesn’t know much about any Islamic terrorist groups, and consistently gets everything wrong.  He was elevated to this position by non-stop man-crushing and gushing over him from Bill O’Reilly at FOX News.  Throughout the weekend, he was all over NBC and MSNBC saying there was no way the Pakistani Taliban was behind the Times Square bombing attempt, claiming “it’s bark is far worse than its bite.”  He also, like Bloomberg, dismissed it as the work of some “right wing group.” (It’s not the first time this dumbass and total moron has done that.  Just the latest.)
