Should Chimp Lady Get to Cut to Front of Line for Face Transplant?

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember Charla Nash, the woman who tried to help lure a chimpanzee pet back into her friend’s house, and was mauled and disfigured by it?  Her friend was warned not to keep a pet like that, but did it anyway.  And she, herself, must have known of the danger.

dramafaces

Now, Nash is a candidate for a face transplant, a rare and costly procedure which few disfigured people are lucky enough to get.  Part of the reason that it’s rare is that there aren’t a lot of suitable faces that are donated for transplant.  Plus, it’s a very difficult and lengthy procedure that has been done less than a handful of times.

But there are many people whose faces were disfigured through no fault of their own–whether by tumor, growths, or accidents.  They are more deserving than this woman who took tremendous risk by helping to try to lure a wild chimpanzee back into a house, despite every common sense notion of staying away from it.

French Embassy Upset w/ Schlussel Over Iran

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, I told you about France’s outrageous, but predictable, release of an Iranian arms dealer who was wanted by the U.S.  France refused to extradite the man, Majid Kakavand, despite the fact that he deliberately set up a fake Malaysian company, bought nuclear and electronic components from the U.S., then sent them to his ayatollah comrades in Iran.  Instead, France released the guy to freedom.

France is Way to Sarkozy with Iran

Well, now, apparently, the French Embassy is upset and is asking questions, trying to probe the influence of this site. Today, I got this e-mail from an Arab Muslim intern at the French Embassy (her name is definitely Arabic, apparently North African–from the way her last name is spelled, and I doubt she is anything but Muslim, since there are few French Christian Arabs).

Good Afternoon,

I work as an Inter [sic] at the French Embassy in the Press/Communication Department. I would like to know how many readers you have each day on your blog?

Taking Bets: How Many of These Women Will Be Pregnant by 2013?

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve been telling you (over and over) about Barack Obama’s boneheaded decision to allow female sailors on Navy submarines a la “Operation Petticoat.”  Sadly, it’s not just an old, hoaky movie from decades past, but a reality that will cause a lot of problems . . . and, as I’ve been predicting, a lot of sailorettes sent home for getting pregnant.

Midshipman Jessica Wilcox & Fellow Sailoratrixes Brag About Invading Navy Subs

obamasmiling.jpgoperationpetticoat

Now, Associated Press is, predictably, getting in on the propaganda.  The news wire is touting the women who will begin training this summer to become submarine officers and report for duty on subs by 2012.

Above is a pic of some of the women, including Midshipmen Jessica Wilcox (the blonde with her mouth open), Misty Webster, Kristin Lyles, Kayla Sax,  and Laura Martindale.  AP reports that 11-20 women have been selected to participate.  How many of these women do you think will be pregnant by 2013?  I’m taking bets.  I say at least 6 out of the 20, but past experience–with female soldiers aboard ships–says that’s low and that it’s more like 8-10.

Hilarious: World Gushes Over Dubai Police Keystone Koppery in HAMAS Assassination

By Debbie Schlussel

Remember the January assassination of HAMAS terrorist arms dealer Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh a/k/a “Abu Abed” in Dubai?

World Fawns Over Inept Dubai Police Chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim

“Extraordinary . . . depth” of Dubai Police Hasn’t Caught or Even ID’d a Single One

mahmoudalmabhouh

Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh a/k/a Abu Abed, Rot In Jehenim [Hell]

How could you forget, since the CCTV video was all over the net, and I brought it to you here.  Plus, the whole word was outraged–outraged!–at this clean-up job, erasing a mass murderer from the world.  Though it’s never been proven (but is likely the case), the world attacked Israel, investigations all over the place began, and Great Britain sent an Israeli diplomat packing.

In the four months since the clean, quick, and successful assassination, the BS gushing over the incompetent Dubai police has reached epic proportions, even though not one of the 11 assassination team members has been identified or caught to date.  It’s affirmative action PR for the jihad because the world is too politically correct to point out that Muslims are better Keystone Kops than even the Keystone Kops were.  Here’s a taste of the gushing from the Wall Street Journal and Interpol. No, it’s not Inspector Clouseau they’re talking about, but same difference:

International law-enforcement officials have praised Dubai’s police work in the case. Dubai has released closed-circuit video showing suspects—some in disguise—in the hotel where the assassination took place, at one point sharing an elevator ride with their alleged victim.

Don’t Believe the Hype: Israel Still Winning Hummus War Where it Counts

By Debbie Schlussel

The Arab and Muslim worlds are gloating that a giant group of Lebanese chefs recently beat Israel’s Guinness World Record for the largest serving of hummus.  Big deal.

sabrahumus.jpg

Where it Counts, Israel is the Never-Beaten Hummus Champ, Even Among Muslims

Yes, these mostly Hezbollah-supporting Lebanese chefs made the world’s biggest serving (for now). But where it really counts–who is selling more–Israeli wipes the floor with all Arab and Muslim nations. And that’s worth a lot more than bragging rights.

On the international market, Israel’s Sabra is the world’s largest seller of hummus.  As I’ve noted, it dominates the market and, even more embarrassing to these Muslims, their own countries prefer Sabra Salads hummus to their own.  Despite the Arab boycott of Israel, Sabra sells more hummus in the Islamic world than any other brand does.

Videos: Hilarious Mother’s Day Worst Gift Idea That Doesn’t Quite Translate

By Debbie Schlussel

I don’t know about the spilling-water-on-sleeping-people idea (which is apparently okay for Jimmy Kimmel viewers’ relatives, but G-d forbid that we try it on Islamic terrorists bent on our destruction), as I didn’t think it was funny. But I thought Jimmy Kimmel’s idea for Mother’s Day gift videos was hilarious.  Unfortunately, only at the concept stage. I did a search on YouTube for the results of “Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Gave My Mother a Very Crappy Gift,” and most of them aren’t funny, just mean and lame.  The best I saw is below, the mom who actually hugs her daughter for probably the worst give you could give.

We’ve Officially Lost: US Pediatrician Assoc Approves “Pin-Prick” Female Genital Mutilation

By Debbie Schlussel

We’ve officially lost the war against Islamic barbarism.  You probably didn’t notice because we don’t have the streets filled with “Chop-Chop Squares” a la Saudi Arabia.

fgm

pediatrics

But don’t let your general vision crowd out the sub rosa nod and wink toward the disgusting disfigurement officially sanctioned by Muslims around the world . . . and now by the official association of America’s pediatricians, which has now given its own nod and wink toward  a “lesser” version of female genital mutilation.

Oh, and note the use of the words “Asian” and “African” as euphemisms for what it really means: Muslim

In a controversial change to a longstanding policy concerning the practice of female circumcision in some African and Asian cultures, the American Academy of Pediatrics is suggesting that American doctors be given permission to perform a ceremonial pinprick or “nick” on girls from these cultures if it would keep their families from sending them overseas for the full circumcision.

With Kagan, Obama Replaces US Military Vet w/ US Military Opponent

By Debbie Schlussel

That Barack Obama’s new Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, is extremely liberal is no surprise.  We expected that.

obamakagan

Check Out George Washington’s Face. He’s Not Happy.

That she’s against America’s military is an outrage, though.  Say what you want about uber-liberal Justice John Paul Stevens.  At least, he served the country in the U.S. Navy, enlisting during World War II and earning a Bronze Star.  Contrast that with Kagan’s harsh position against military recruiting on college campuses.

According to Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness (she was appointed by President Reagan to serve on the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Services),

Senators considering this nomination should question Elena Kagan’s flawed logic and anti-military attitude that she expressed by signing an amicus brief challenging the Solomon Amendment in Rumsfeld v. Fair.  It is significant that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of that legislation, which protects equal access for military recruiters on college campuses, with a unanimous (8-0) vote.  Even Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg did not agree with Kagan’s anti-military views.

Clearly, she’s against First Amendment rights and equal protection for military recruiters.  Who’s next on her list for denial of these rights?

To say this is not a good development is the understatement of the year.  But this was predictable.  It’s Barack Obama, after all.

France Protects Iran Nukes From U.S. Justice . . . Again

By Debbie Schlussel

Mon dieu.

Time to change the name of French fries to “freedom fries” again.  Actually, I thought that was a stupid move, but I understood the sentiment during the invasion of Iraq when the French opposed us every step of the way.  Looking back, perhaps they made the right decision for the wrong reasons.

majidkakavandahmadinejadsmile.jpg

nuclearbomb

But, now, France–long a trading partner and enabler of Iran–is stepping up its alliances with our Islamic enemies, in this case Iran.  The country refused to extradite a key figure in Iran’s nuclear development program, who duped U.S. manufacturers and enabled Iran’s nuke program.

Last week, on Wednesday, a French court ruled against extraditing Majid Kakavand, an Iranian businessman who violated U.S. trade sanctions against Iran.  He ran a Malaysian trading firm through which he sold products and components to Iranian companies involved in the country’s nuclear and weapons programs.  The products were bought in the U.S. and shipped to Iran from Malaysia.  Kakavand was arrested in France in March 2009, when he was there on vacation.

But, on Friday, France released Kakavand to freedom, which is, of course, being hailed by Iran and its “news” outlet.  The French are using the fate of one of its citizens in Iran as an excuse for this outrage.  But how many of its citizens might be snuffed out in the future when Iran’s nukes are complete and it uses them? That a lefty French chick went to Iran, knowing the risks, isn’t our problem and shouldn’t be a reason to enable the world’s destruction by a madman and an equally mad country run by ayatollahs.

As I’ve long said, we’ve already lost Europe, which has welcomed and allowed Muslims to rule the roost all over the place.  But this move is particularly sleazy and outrageous.  No more J’Adore perfume for me.  I’ll stick with Clinique “Happy.”  No need to repeat what we already know:  that Nicolas Sarkozy is a eunuch.

More:

Iran on Saturday welcomed France’s refusal to extradite a detained Iranian to the United States where he is accused of buying electronic parts and exporting them illegally, news agencies reported.

Who is Jerry Joseph a/k/a Guerdwich Montimere? Mysterious Illegal Alien Basketball Player Dupes ICE Fingerprint Database

By Debbie Schlussel

****  bumped up from Friday, 5:59 p.m.  ****

Can’t let the end of the week go by without telling you about Jerry Joseph . . . or is that Guerdwich Montimere?

icebadge.jpgguerdwichmontimerejerryjoseph

Jerry Joseph a/k/a Guerdwich Montimere:

The Illegal Alien Who Beat ICE’s Fingerprint Database

That’s the problem.  We don’t really know who he is, other than that he’s an illegal alien and star basketball player who is either 16 years old or 22 years old and scamming the system.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) says he’s 16-year-old illegal alien Joseph.  But everyone who knows him swears he’s actually the older Geurdwich Montimere.  And that’s been a problem with many, many illegal aliens, especially of the Muslim variety.  We don’t really know who they are and have to go on the names and backgrounds they give us–names and backgrounds which are often false, as was the case with Noureddine X, an alien Muslim who became a naturalized U.S. citizen  and U.S. military contractor, then gave our troops’ movements to Al-Qaeda–causing the ambush murders of several of our soldiers in Iraq.

The case of Joseph/Montimere/Whomever is not as severe, but it gives you a taste of what is an every day  occurrence and difficulty in the cases of far too many illegal aliens and visa violators in our midst.  It also tells me that ICE fingerprint databases don’t work.  Since pretty much everyone else who has encountered “them” says it’s the same person–that Joseph is Montimere, I don’t believe the ICE computer fingerprints that say otherwise.  It begs the question: how many other terrorists and illegal aliens have gone free because ICE’s computerized fingerprint database is a bust? Clearly, ICE’s computers got beaten here and can be duped.

It’s truly a bizarre story, but I think I’ve seen several TV shows and feature movies with the same plot/fact pattern:

Jerry Joseph is either a promising 16-year-old sophomore basketball player at Permian (Odessa, Texas) or he’s Guerdwich Montimere, a 22-year-old who three years ago as a senior helped lead Dillard (Fort Lauderdale) to the Florida 5A state semifinals and was a McDonald’s All American nominee.
