Lebanon has a thriving new industry, “Jihadi Tourism,” focusing primarily on Hezbollah’s new anti-Israel “War Museum.”  The concept is reminiscent of Nazi museums mocking Jews and celebrating their destruction at the time the Third Reich was in power.  More disturbing is that the museum solidifies Hezbollah’s hold over Lebanon, as the country is making a mint from the “tourists” from other countries who make the hajj to visit this new Jew-hating mecca.  The question is, how much of the museum was financed by U.S. taxpayers?  Likely, a good chunk of it.

As I told you in 2006, Hezbollah received hundreds of thousands of dollars in USAID money and other U.S. taxpayer funds, which went straight to the terrorist group to “distribute and rebuild infrastructure.”  As I also told you, in 2000, when he was a U.S. Senator, Fred Thompson’s campaign manager, Spencer Abraham and current Michigan Republican candidate for Congress, Paul Welday, got a whopping $86 million in USAID money for Hezbollah “to rebuild infrastructure in South Lebanon.”  Neither of these huge sets of U.S. money giveaways were ever tracked.

And, while it’s quite likely that a good chunk of the money went to Hezbollah weapons build-ups and terrorist training, even if it did not it strengthened the terrorist group’s hold over Lebanon, as those who wanted aid got it only through Hezbollah.  Also, as we know, money is a fungible good.  What little of the U.S. tax money actually went to food and other legit aid gave Hezbollah more money to spend on its anti-Semitic museum.

Hezbollah has opened its first permanent museum atop a wooded hill here that was strategic territory in a 2006 war with Israel, the latest step in the group’s evolution from a band of militants to an established political force in Lebanon. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m embarrassed that it’s taken me this long to put this up.  But I hope you’ll support my friend, Republican Bill Randall, a candidate for the U.S. Congress from North Carolina’s 13th District.  He did well in the primary but needs your financial help for his campaign to lead to victory in his run-off on Tuesday.

I rarely ask you to contribute to candidates (I can’t remember when I last did that), but this year, there are a very few in select Republican primaries and run-offs whom I strongly endorse.  Bill is one of them.  Bill’s run-off is this Tuesday, June 22.

Bill Randall is a solid conservative on all of the issues, including a strong Second Amendment.  He served in the U.S. Navy for 27 years, re-enlisting several times, and is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.  Not only was he a career Navy man, but he is the only candidate in Tuesday’s primary with any military experience.  He also has a Masters in Business Administration.  Read his full bio.

A religious Christian, Bill Randall is a man who truly gets it regarding fighting Islamic terrorism. On Facebook and on his website, Bill has always consistently and unequivocally supported Israel, including and especially its response to the HAMAS Gaza Flotilla. With respect to the Middle East diplomacy, the nation of Israel should always be acknowledged as an ally that the United States will unwaveringly support. Any threat or action against Israel should always be viewed as an identical action against the USA.

By the way, Bill’s sister, Chasidah Alice Randall Flanders, achieved the rank of Lt. Commander in her U.S. Navy career and converted to Orthodox Judaism ten years ago.

If there is one man I’d love to see in Congress, it’s Bill Randall.  I hope you will support his campaign in these last days of the campaign which make or break victory.

I’m often asked which conservative commentators and politicians I like and follow.  My answer is always the same:  I don’t follow, I think.  I’m an independent thinker and a critical thinker.  Sheep on the right are no different from sheep on the left.  Sorry, but the only kind of sheep that have any value are the livestock version.  The human kind are worthless . . . unless you are one of those that has a radio talk show, FOX News show, books to sell, etc., and feel the need to have a built in market, because you have no confidence in the strength of your arguments and delivery of them.  A nation of sheep is a nation of cowards. So, as I always say: think, don’t follow.  If you don’t think, you are the problem, not the solution.  Only you should tell you what to think and how to think, not some person reading GOP or DNC talking points on cable news network talk shows.  I despise anyone who puts personalities over principles.  Sadly, so many do this on the left AND the right, whether it’s Barack Obama or Sarah Palin.

But, if I had to point to one person I admire, one who is largely right and consistent on almost every topic on which he writes or speaks, it’s Cal Thomas, the most published syndicated political columnist.  A religious Christian, the man is not just principled, he tells it like it is.  I was a fan of his work before he became a personal friend I am proud to have on my side, on our side.  And let me tell you, not only is Cal a brilliant, eloquent patriot, but a real mensch, a kind heart, and a special soul.  There is no-one like him.  If he were running things in either the U.S. or Israel, the countries would be batting a thousand.

And that brings me to his commentary, today, in USA Today.  Every Thursday, he and liberal Bob Beckel have half a page to discuss issues in their “Common Ground” column.  Today’s theme is Israel and the Flotilla.  Both Thomas and Beckel agree that “Israel’s War is Our War, Too.”  An excerpt:

Since Islam is mostly ripped off from Judaism and Christianity, it’s no surprise that religious Jews, like myself, do not eat or use any pig products.  Islam stole this practice from Judaism.

But, unlike Islam, we Jews do not impose our religious requirements on anyone else.  We don’t insist that the rest of the world comply.  We keep our religion, and celebrate that you keep yours and live your life.  But not Islam.  Muslims want everyone to submit.  That’s why Islam means submission, forced submission.

It’s no surprise that Islamic law is dominating France.  That’s why, several years ago, I told you that French police began using government permits to shut down soup kitchens which served pork soup.  They didn’t want to offend Muslims.  Now, it’s getting worse, as the French prohibit pork AND alcohol from street fairs.  Again, this is done to pander and capitulate to Islam:

French police have banned a street party whose organizers planned to serve alcoholic cocktails and pork sausages in a heavily Muslim neighborhood of Paris, authorities said in a statement Tuesday.

Last week, a Muslim activist from the charity, Islamic Relief, sent out this e-mail, below, bragging about an Obama White House visit by Muslim activists and concessions to the Muslim world that Obama promised them.  A number of these things–most of them–are things President Bush actually was the first to do, and, thus, he opened the floodgates. Plus he was the one who made the boneheaded decision to establish a White House office for “faith-based partnerships” referenced below. I warned (nine years ago!) this was going to be used to steer your tax money to promote Islam and Islamic hate, and I was right. Also important to note here, though, is that Islamic Relief (IR) is a HAMAS charity, which I’ve written much about and even went undercover to its fundraising events.  IR was booted from Israel, when its top official there had Hitler and Bin Laden screen savers on his computer and was a HAMAS activist.

It was founded by a member of the El-Banna family which founded the Muslim Brotherhood, from which HAMAS and Al-Qaeda also emanated.  When I went undercover to two of IR’s Detroit-area fundraisers, I was horrified when, at one of them, the Milwaukee boy’s dance troupe, Sanabel Al-Quds, simulated beheadings, with kids using guns, rifles, and machetes to pretend to kill kids wearing the American, Israeli, and British flags.  As I’ve also noted on this site that the same dance troupe performed at a Chicago dinner for the Arab American Action Network where Barack Obama was in attendance, several years before he ran for President.  But it should also be noted that the Mormon Church has given Islamic Relief over $2o million.  And when a McCain campaign worker asked Mitt Romney to denounce this, he refused to answer, called the man a “religious bigot,” and got McCain to fire him.  Remember that, when Mitt Romney tells you he understands ab0ut jihad.

I had the good fortune to be with a delegation of 30 prominent National Muslim leaders representing various Islamic organizations across North America. Earlier in the day we had a luncheon at Ronald Reagan building in honor of Rashad Hussain’s appointment as US special envoy to the organization of the Islamic conference and to discuss the anniversary of the President’s historic Cairo Speech. Rashad Hussain was joined by the Associate director of White House office of public engagement Mr. Paul Monteiro. Later on in the day we went to the white house for briefings from various agencies organized by the white house staff and met individuals such as Ben Rose who assists President’s in his speeches and communications. Mazen Basrawi from department of justice civil rights division, Dennis Macdeon Presidents advisor on National security and Rev Joshua Dubois White House office of Faith based and neighborhood partnerships.

Check out this photo, below.  Is it a two-bit backwoods hooker . . . or an anti-Semitic “conservative” blogger who, today, joined the Twitter chorus of anti-Semitic bloggers on the right who’ve defended and praised lunatic Emily Zanotti and her four-year campaign of stalking me, filing raving (and quickly dismissed) complaints against me to the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, and praising Holocaust-denying death, rape, and torture threats on my life?  It looks like the former, but “looks” (if you can call this sleaziness that) are deceiving.  I’d give you her name, but her site is barely read, and I don’t want to give her any new readers or traffic.  She’s currently in oblivion where she belongs.   Sorry, I’m not sure what she charges, but the outfit screams “no dolla, no holla.”  Trash is trash.  Belongs on the curb to get picked up.

Gary Brooks Faulkner Tried to Deliver

I don’t get why everyone–every armchair bounty hunter–is denouncing and savaging Gary Brooks Faulkner, the Colorado man and American citizen who was arrested in Pakistan for trying to find and kill Bin Laden.  We barely know anything about the guy, and, already, they’re assassinating his character.  Frankly, he’s–as Presidents Bush and Obama have said about illegal aliens–doing the work that some Americans won’t do.  It’s now apparently some sort of “crime” that Faulkner wanted to “avenge 9/11.”  If only we ever had a President, elected officials, and a military that wanted to “avenge 9/11” instead of intently pretending it didn’t happen and kissing Muslim butt.

The attacks ridicule the man because he was carrying Christian literature.  Oooh, an “evil Christian.”  It rolls off the tongue with the same beauty as “evil Zionist” at a HAMAS potluck shawarmeh picnic.  And, at the same time, when Muslims planning terrorist attacks are caught with Korans (Nidal Malik Hasan, Faisal Shahzad, etc., etc. ad absurdum) , we’re told that’s irrelevant.  Christian literature = fanatic.  Koran = cool, exotic peaceful dude, so stop being a bigot.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the Hezbollah torture murder of American Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem on the hijacked TWA flight 847.  But you’d hardly know it.  There’s nary a peep about it anywhere.  Why hasn’t America remembered?

As I write this, there is only one link on Google News which references the event.  But I remember.

Twenty-five years ago, this week, Hezbollah and Harakat Amal (Shi’ite Amal Militia) terrorists hijacked TWA 847.  They trampled Stethem to death for the “crime” of being American and being a serviceman. In the ultimate patriotism, Stethem refused the hijackers’ demands that he denounce America. Each time he refused they tortured him more, until finally they murdered him. The beginning scenes in the unfairly maligned 1986 movie, “The Delta Force,” are a pretty accurate portrayal of what happened, though not quite as graphic as the real thing.

But, whereas yesterday, the Bush Administration and Condoleeza Rice floated the idea that the U.S. should recognize Hezbollah, today, the Obama Administration does the same.

Yesterday, we despised this terrorist group, Hezbollah, that–with Harakat Amal–murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and officials (in addition to Rob Stethem). Today, Donald Trump and his idiots pick a Hezbollah supporter from a family of Hezbollah terrorists as Miss USA, and not a single journalist–from FOX News’ bimbo morning show to the Voice of America’s “Mideast Monitor” host David Byrd–will dare ask her to say three words, “I condemn Hezbollah.”  Yesterday, we vowed to do something about Hezbollah and put it out of business, but we did nothing.

Today, we have over 30,000 open Hezbollah supporters alive and well living in Dearbornistan  (and beyond) on our shores, and more are coming to America every day.  Yesterday, we condemned Hezbollah, but today our top Homeland Security officials (in both Bush and Obama administrations) hang out with its American agents and Iran-backed imams including Imams Mohammed Ali Elahi and Hassan Qazwini.  Yesterday, Republicans and conservatives claimed to be tough on Islamic terrorism.  Today, those same Republicans and conservatives embrace open Hezbollah and Syria supporter, Congressman Darrell Issa a/k/a Jihad Darrell.

Today, fraudulent “opponents” of Islamic terrorism, like talk show host Mark Levin, make excuses for embracing Hezbollah supporters and enablers.  When his candidate for President, Fred Thompson, hired Hezbollah supporter and financier Spencer Abraham as his campaign manager (a story I broke on this site), Levin said (on his nationally syndicated radio show) that this was okay, “because he needs him to win Michigan.”  Huh?  Remember that the next time Levin attacks the Dems and Obama for being soft on terrorism.  Look in the mirror, Mark.  And stop gushing over Jihad Darrell.  The ADL (Anti-Defamation League), which claims to fight Islamic terrorism, gushingly hosted a Hezbollah supporter and lawyer, for its “diversity” programming. Thank airheaded ADL Michigan chieftess, Betsy Kellman, for that one.

Mark Levin Gives Thumbs Up to Hezbollah . . . When it Helps His Friends Win Elections

Below is an excerpt of my 2005 column on the hijacking, what they did to Robert Stethem, and the inroads Hezbollah has made in this country.  That was on the 20th anniversary of his murder. Sadly, five years later, nothing has changed.  It’s only gotten worse. Please also note that Ronald Reagan never did anything in response to the hijacking and murder. There were no bombings, no nothing. Hezbollah got the message loud and clear, a message the group gets to this day: that it can kidnap, torture, and murder with impunity.

The hijacking and murder was among the first televised Islamic terror attacks against Americans, unfolding on TV screens over 17 days. . . .

On June 15, 1985, Hezbollah hijackers seized the TWA flight in Athens. Identifying Robert Dean Stethem as an American serviceman, they brutally beat and tortured the 23-year-old Stethem to death. Then, they threw his body off the plane, like garbage. Stethem was so badly beaten that he could only be identified from fingerprints. He was on his way home after a tour of duty with the US Navy in the Middle East.

But Stethem never made it home. His next and final stop was Arlington National Cemetery.
