I thought Europe was lost forever to Islam . . . and it’s, frankly, quickly headed there, despite this development.  But it’s always good news when the general public rebels against sharia and Islamic intolerance, and the marketplace responds accordingly, as in this case.  However, one day, the marketplace will be dominated by them, and as I’ve noted, it’s quickly becoming the case around the world, with Nestle and other powerhouses quickly responding to Islamic demands and restrictions on your food.

It’s nice, though, that at least at this point in time, the British marketplace says leh [Arabic for “no”] to halal.  And that KFC is listening.

KFC has scrapped its policy of serving halal food only in some of its takeaways [DS: British slang for carry-outs], following customer protests.

The little girls . . . Who are they?  Are they really their children?  Or what are they?

Not long ago, I reviewed “The Joneses,” a movie with an interesting concept of sleeper cell faux-families designed to influence public opinion and consumer buying habits.  As I said then, don’t think Muslims aren’t doing the same things with their sleeper cells and cultural jihads.  This video report on the Russian spy ring is essentially that.  There’s no proof, so far, that the Russian spies received or passed any classified information or intelligence (though they made contact with some top national security figures and insiders and probably attempted to get the info).  They were mostly agents of influence, rather than espionage.  And don’t think for a second that Muslims aren’t doing the exact same thing.  Not all spies are as overt as “Boris & Natasha,” . . . or Ahmed and Hamida.  The Russian spies assumed the identities of Irish-American real estate agents and financial consultants and Hispanic “reporters.”  So do Islamic infiltrators.  And, in many ways, we are, sadly, no brighter or sharp-witted than Bullwinkle in catching on.  These Russians were only caught because the FBI was tipped off by a Russian defector.

Just who was the “unnamed” New York financier and major fundraiser for a political party who met with the Russian spies?  Who do you think it is?

Exit question:  how does a Russian chick get the surname, “Chapman”?  (Anna Chapman was the ringleader of the the spy group.)  Exit answer:  When you’re a spy, you’re anyone you want to be.  It’s up to those you are infiltrating to blindly believe it or dig deeper.

I eat a very healthy diet, and even if kosher dietary prohibitions didn’t keep me from eating most of these items, below, I still wouldn’t.  The idea turns my stomach.   But I believe in freedom of consumption.  Even though I wouldn’t eat it, if you want to, that’s your bid’ness.  Keep the food police far away and out of our lives.

Check out these high-calorie, stomach- and appetite-expanding items on restaurant menus across America.  What’s the grossest, most calorie-laden thing you’ve ever eaten?  Do any beat these choices?

•In Georgia, you can get what’s called a Luther Burger, supposedly named after singer Luther Vandross. It’s a ground beef patty topped with bacon and cheese, sandwiched between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts instead of a bun.

•In Iowa, there’s a hot beef sundae, which made its debut at the Iowa State Fair a few years ago, O’Connor says. It’s mashed potatoes, roast beef, beef gravy, cheddar cheese and a little cherry tomato on top to look like a cherry on a sundae.

When Rima Fakih–a Shi’ite Muslim Hezbollah supporter (from a family of top Hezbollah officials and “martyrs”)–was chosen as Miss USA, last month, many ignoramuses, including several on the right, claimed she couldn’t possibly be an extremist or Hezbollah supporter because she wore a bikini.  Just like Mohammed Atta couldn’t possibly be an Islamic terrorist because he drank alcohol at strip clubs and gambled in Vegas.

Now, MTV is pulling a Miss Hezbo USA in casting Lebanese Sh’ite Muslim Sahar Dika--a graduate of Dearbornistan’s Hezbollah High (Fordson High School)–in the newest season of its lame reality show, “The Real World.”  And Dika is openly anti-Israel.  Check out her tweet, below, from her Twitter account, attacking Israel over the HAMAS Gaza terrorist flotilla.  But, hey, since she’s wearing a low-cut halter top in the picture, she couldn’t possibly be a Muslim extremist or Jew-hater, right?  And if you believe that, I have a strip joint in the Bekaa Valley to sell you.

Last week, I told you about violent attacks by German Muslims on a Jewish dancing troupe.  And now there’s yet another violent attack, this one more bloody–same religion of the victims (Jews), same religion of the perpetrators (Muslim).  If you think this can’t or won’t happen here, think again.  There is no difference. And, in fact, I know of several equally violent attacks on Jews by Muslims on the University of Michigan campus, one of which put a Jewish kid in the hospital for months (but University of Michigan Marxist Hillel Director for Life, Michael Brooks, tried to hush these things up).

A Berlin police spokesman told the Jerusalem Post on Monday that two young Israelis were violently attacked in a Berlin disco because of their nationality. The spokesman said the attack prompted the police to issue a statement terming the attack as “anti-Semitic.”

According to statements from two male Israelis aged 18 and 22, a Palestinian man was responsible for the assault. He asked the 22-year-old Israeli about his nationality, who replied that he is a citizen of Israel.

This isn’t the story of the Russian spy ring.  It’s the story of the Iranian nuclear scientist and CIA spy Sharam Amiri.  Amiri provided the most important information to the U.S. from inside the Iranian nuclear weapons operation.  He confirmed a second nuclear site and counteracted a false 2007 CIA report claiming the Iranian nuclear program was not as advanced as we thought.  Amiri confirmed that, in fact, the program was far more advanced and headed toward nuclear weapons. Amiri’s return to Iran is thought to be the hostage swap Iran is seeking in exchange for the three American hikers.

The intriguing video, below, appeared on last night’s edition of ABC News’ “Nightline.”  It shows that the same cold-war tactics from yesteryear are very much in operation.  But the old school tactics use new school battlefields–in this case, YouTube.

The tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists in the Islamic world (and that’s 99% of ’em) are working overtime.  When they can’t see their soccer, you know whose fault it is . . . the JOOOS.  Yup, when in doubt, blame the Jews.  Especially if you’re a fan of the game that unites our enemies.  Soccer–the game which (along with Michael Jackson) unites Islamic terrorists, Third World republics, and other America haters.  And, of course, it’s the game whose televised reception is “blocked out” by the Jews, according to Jew-haters.

One of the times I was on Al-Jazeera, the network was so backward, they were literally using MCI phone cards for the satellite feed.  The cards kept running out and the satellite feed kept ending.  Methinks it’s that kind of backward, al-cheapo behavior by the network funded by emirs and sheiks that led to World Cup interruptions.  But that’s not who they blame (thanks to longtime friend David Hazony of Shalem):

The network’s troubles began on the first day of the World Cup, when viewers were unable to watch the opening match between South Africa and Mexico. The network claimed that a “third party” disrupted the broadcast and even convinced FIFA to investigate the matter.

I’ve written about a similar matter before, when a Missouri legislator wanted to legalize horse meat packing plants in the state.  I wrote that I was all for it.  Because of that, Bonni Intall, the crazy woman who owns and runs Bare Naked Islam, went nuts, attacking my readers in the comments section, saying she’d eat their dogs, making bigoted statements against religious Jews like myself for keeping kosher (claiming it was okay for her to be anti-Semitic b/c she has Jewish heritage), and calling all of you readers “gullible” and stupid in an e-mail to me, in which she continued to viciously and fallaciously attack religious Jews and kashrut (the noun form of kosher).   (If you visit her site, that’s what you’re supporting.) **** UPDATE: Bonni Intall of Bare Naked Islam responds in a long, unhinged e-mail, “You are a c**t.” [Asterisks inserted by me.] You stay, classy and sane, Bonni. ****

As I said then, I would not eat horse meat because it is not kosher, and it would turn my stomach to eat it, even if it was not prohibited by my religious diet.  But I see eating horses as no different from eating chicken or beef.  They are all animals, meant to be consumed or otherwise serve man.  The same goes for lions.  They’re now serving it in Arizona in honor of South Africa and the World Cup.  Cameron Selogie, owner of Il Vinaio restaurant, is serving African lion meat burgers.  I wouldn’t eat it–religious rules prohibit me from doing so, and if they didn’t, I still wouldn’t eat it.  But I see no reason for the outcry about it.  Lions are no different from any other animal.  If people choose to eat it, enjoy.

Despite what they want you to think (that they are modern and cosmopolitan), this recently posted video of an Arab sheikh tells us that things really haven’t advanced past the 14th Century.  Note that the sheikh constantly throws bricks of cash–handed to him by two of his servants–at the immodestly dressed  (by Muslim standards) singer, while he whispers all kinds of sweet nothings in her ear as she screechily “sings” some air-splitting noise.  Note that at 6:50 in the video, the sheikh burns a $100 bill. As I always say, ignore the moralizing to us about the “modesty” of Muslims.  (I suggest you turn the volume down, as it’s painful to listen to.)

This is the true “modesty” of the Islamic world–as in, there ain’t none . . . on either end, whether from the john, er . . . sheikh, or the prostitute, er . . . Islamic singer. And by the way, you can’t be a sheikh unless you’re Muslim, as it’s a religious title. And, clearly, from the behavior of this sheikh, they hand out the title quite easily. Yes, Islam has few standards, despite its hypocritical, claimed orthodoxy. It’s all a sham, except when they apply it to non-Muslims.
