Take a Cool Sip of Summer on Independence Day

By Debbie Schlussel

Since it’s Fourth of July/Independence Day weekend and very hot around most of the country, here’s a refreshing drink recipe to help celebrate our country’s birth from chef Emeril Lagasse (from today’s USA Today).  I recommend that you alter this Watermelon Limeade recipe a little, either with alcohol, if you’re seeking an adult beverage, or as I’d make it, with less sugar for a tarter and healthier taste, plus I’d lighten it up by diluting it with club soda and ice.  It’s quick, easy, and great for an Independence Day party/barbecue or alone outside later on during the summer.

Regardless of how you make it, enjoy.  I’ll bet the Founding Fathers would have enjoyed it.  Hits the spot.  Print it out for your recipe collection and upcoming summer events.

British Judge & Jury: Crime is Okay . . . If It’s Against the JOOOOS

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve long ago said, Europe is lost forever.  Lost to Islam.  Lost to anti-Semitism.  Lost to extremism.  Lost to perverted moral relativism.  And, of course, the last three are because of the first one–Islam.

That Was Then . . .

swastika.jpgyellowstar.jpg

This Is Now . . .

islamiccrescent.jpgyellowstar.jpg

So, it’s no surprise that a British judge and jury said that vandalism–destruction that could have killed many and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars–is okay . . . so long as it’s against the Jews or Israel (or someone doing business with or helping them).  It’s really not too different than laws the Nazis had in place.  And that’s no hyperbole.

The ends justifies the means, Judenrein-style.  Yup, 1940 Europe repeats itself 70 years later. Today, they use the euphemism “Israel” as their excuse, but tomorrow, they’ll openly use the word “Jew”:

Five activists who caused £180,000 damage to an arms factory were acquitted after they argued they were seeking to prevent Israeli war crimes.

But Some Are More Equal Than Others – Mel Gibson’s Latest Bigoted Rant

By Debbie Schlussel

As George Orwell observed in “Animal Farm,” all of the animals in the barnyard are equal, but some are more equal than others.  And so it goes with Mel Gibson’s latest bigoted rant.

melgibsonhitleranimalfarm2

Gibson was allegedly caught on tape using the N-word with his estranged concubine/babymama, Oksana Grigorieva, as well as uttering all kinds of obscenities, including the c-word and other standard low-class stuff.

But what’s interesting to me and reader/attorney Jon Grant (see his on-target comments below) is all the fuss being made over Gibson’s use of the N-word and calling Blacks gang rapists.  It’s extremely offensive, but no surprise.  The guy’s  a bigot.  And we’ve known that for quite a while.  It’s not new.

In fact, the outrage now seems to go far beyond that caused by his anti-Semitic rant against a Jewish Los Angeles police officer.  Talk now is that this alleged conversation could end his career.  But why didn’t his anti-Semitic remarks about the Jews end his career?  Why did he still get to make movies and have half of Hollywood defending him, including anti-Semitism scholars, Rabbis Jodie Foster and Patrick Swayze?  Is bigotry against Blacks less acceptable, anti-Semitism more acceptable?  For me, it’s not a question, but a fact.  And it’s not new, either.  When Blacks, Muslims, or liberals are attacked, it’s important.  When Jews, other White people, and conservatives are attacked . . . cue the crickets.

Harry Potter Actress Learns Real Prob Ain’t Sorcery; It’s Islam

By Debbie Schlussel

When the Harry Potter books and movies came out, some parents in the West worried about the sorcery and witchcraft in the books.  But, as Potter movie actress Afshan Azad recently learned from personal experience, the real problem the West faces isn’t fictional wizards or magic.  It’s ISLAM.

islamiccrescent.jpgafshadazadharrypotter

Harry Potter Actress Afshan Azad (Right):

Victim of Attempted Muslim Honor-Killing

Even the pan-Muslim BBC (British Broadcasting for the Crescent-esque) reports that, last month, Ms. Azad was the victim of an attempted honor-killing by her Muslim family (but, predictably, fails to mention that key word: Islam). Her brother and father threatened the honor-killing, and her bro apparently tried to follow through, assaulting her at home in Manchester, England.

Hey, let’s hear it for the “peacefulness” of the “Religion of Peace”:

The father and brother of an actress who starred in Harry Potter have been charged with threatening to kill her at her home in Manchester.

Who is Eskender Mafarani & Why Did “Canadian” Smuggle $2 Milln Into US?

By Debbie Schlussel

Yesterday, Eskender Henareh Mafarani was sentenced to 37 months in prison for trying to smuggle into the U.S. more than $2.1 million in U.S. cash, six cell phones, and a laptop computer in late 2008.  The cash was wrapped in 130 bundles and it and the cellphone and computer were hidden inside Mafarani’s truck as it attempted to cross into the U.S. from Canada over the Ambassador Bridge to Detroit.  Mafarani lied to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

islamiccrescent.jpgicebadge.jpg

But press reports refer to Mafarani as only a “Canadian.”  Here’s the full scoop on Mafarani:  he is an Iranian Muslim of Kurdish descent who emigrated to Canada.  Because of the way the money was packaged and the multiple cell phones, ICE agents believed that he was involved in drug dealing.  And it appears he could also have been involved in terrorist financing.  According to documents concerning Mafarani, he made many trips in and out of the U.S. from Canada, using similar trucks.  X-Ray images caught the hidden cash.  Check out the affidavit signed by ICE Senior Special Agent Anthony C. Romolino in the Federal Criminal Complaint against Mafarani.

Mid-Week Box Office: “The Last Airbender”

By Debbie Schlussel

Based on a Nickelodeon cartoon, “The Last Airbender” debuts in theaters, today, and is directed by M. Night Shyamalan.  It’s aimed at kids and is a non-animated story of a young monk who saves the world from the evil fire lord.  The most (unintentionally) funny part about this movie is that I thought the monk looked more like a Jewish kid than a monk.  And, sure enough, it appears that my Jew-dar is functioning well, as the actor who plays the monk is 12-year-old First-Degree Taekwondo Black Belt Noah Ringer (“The Karate Kid-owitz”?).

lastairbender

The story:  the earth is divided into four nations: air, water, fire, and earth.  Each has benders, who have powers to move and transform their respective element with their minds.  Two young eskimo types (played by White kids, but no biggie, since a Jewish kid is the heavily tattooed monk) are searching for food on the ice, when they discover a bulging sphere.  They crack it open and out comes a kid who is an airbending monk, “Aang,” and his giant flying animal.  He is the last survivor of the air nation and is the “avatar,” who can save the world.  But the fire nation is looking for the monk.  They want to capture him and make him theirs.  The fire lord’s son, a loser who desperately seeks to prove himself to a loveless dad, is on a ship seeking the monk.  He and his father kidnap the monk over and over.  And he’s freed over and over.  The end.  Lots of epic music, but not much epic stuff in this flick to accompany it, as much as they want us to think so.  Unexciting, unmoving.  And just not all that interesting.

The Marketplace Decides: Miley Cyrus’ Slut Turn Fails

By Debbie Schlussel

On this site, we’ve chronicled the desperate efforts by Miley Cyrus (I call her, Miley Virus) and her sick dad, Sean Hannity’s friend Billy Ray Cyrus, to respectively slut and pimp herself out in an effort to separate herself from her ‘tween Hannah Montana character and establish herself as a “grown up” singer.

So Sad, Too Bad: Miley Virus’ Tacky Sex Siren Act is a Flop

The 17-year-old Cyrus  gyrated on a stripper pole on Nickelodeon, then shot some racy scenes of herself in girl-on-girl kisses and naked crotch shots.  And then there were those clownish skin outfits.

Well, stick a fork in it. ‘Cuz her career is basically done.  She’s just a White Todd Bridges in development.  The slut factor didn’t sizzle with fans, and her new album is a disaster.  My friend, Detroit Newsistan music critic and pop culture writer Adam Graham, reports:

Miley Cyrus tumbled hard with her latest, “Can’t Be Tamed.” The album — which was promoted via a series of faux-taboo, risque awards show performances — sold a disappointing 102,000 copies its first week, a 73 percent slide from the 371,000-unit week one debut of her last album, 2008’s “Breakout.” It seems that while Miley can’t be tamed, her record sales are anything but wild.

Must-Watch Moron VIDEO of the Day: Why Women Shouldn’t Be U.S. Senators

By Debbie Schlussel

Only a stupid liberal Democrat chick parading as a  U.S. Senator would use a Supreme Court nominee’s confirmation hearings to ask and discuss something this moronic.  Sorry, but I just can’t see a male U.S. Senator–from either party or side of the ideological divide–asking a Supreme Court nominee whether he or she prefers Alien or Predator when it comes to AVP movies.  Even Elena Kagan didn’t want to answer this imbecilic baloney.  I second the, “I wish you wouldn’t.” Um, why do we need to know what Amy Klobuchar’s daughters did?  Yup, the people of Minnesota–a plurality of ’em, anyway–are that dumb that they elected this idiotette. If I were her opponent in the next election, I’d make this my campaign commercial, with the tagline, “Senator Klobuchar . . .focusing on the issues important to Minnesota’s vampires and werewolves. You, not so much.”

Please Help DebbieSchlussel.com Continue & Show Your Support

By Debbie Schlussel

DebbieSchlussel.com has now been in existence for five years.  In those five years, you’ve read my thousands of entries, posts, exclusive columns, and breaking stories you won’t read anywhere else–whether it’s stories about Islamic intolerance and encroachment on America and the rest of the West, Israel’s part in that fight and its struggle to survive, or our side in the culture war as we try to preserve our country and Western society from within.  We’ve tried to keep costs down and only once asked for your support over those five years and literally thousands of hours of exclusive investigative reporting work and dedication of heart, soul, and mind.  Although we operate on a spartan existence and budget compared to most sites of this magnitude, we need your help to continue, to update, and to expand and improve. That includes donating by clicking on the yellow “Donate” button on the right-hand side of my site and/or purchasing a regular subscription.  We’d really appreciate your help.  You can also help this site by contacting my advertising team to promote your business with an ad on this site.

pleasedonatesitemaintenance2

Over the next few months, we’ll be expanding, offering new and exciting (and mostly free) opportunities to read and hear my exclusive commentary and analysis, including a live online show.  And you’ll be reading more new and original items, including exclusive breaking stories, scoops, and my original movie reviews which tell you what’s really in the movies so you save your money and time and protect your kids.  Later today, I’ll be sharing another new exclusive on Iranian immigration defrauders who, sadly,  have been granted and are about to be granted U.S. citizenship over the protests of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.  And we have many such items on deck in the coming days, weeks, and months that you won’t read or see anywhere else. But we need your help to continue to present this information and do this important work.

My site is also growing more and more each day, as I continue to bring you breaking stories and original content that you can’t find anywhere else (unless others steal it, which is so often the case, unfortunately). But you read it here first, whether it was my exclusive scoop, back in early March, on Barack Obama’s new ICE official and pro-illegal alien troublemaker Harold Hurtt, a story later regurgitated last week by the also-rans in the mainstream liberal and conservative media AFTER Obama gave him the job.  Or whether it was my work on Miss Hezbollah USA, an MTV personality’s anti-Israel propaganda, my exposure of Barack Obama’s fraudulent Selective Service Registration, and a new and important story I’ll be posting later today you won’t otherwise know about.  Eventually, some of the mainstream media–including even the liberal New York Times–cites my work and this site, but you help get it out there by supporting this site.  And there’s also my pro bono legal work on behalf of good Americans against Muslims who’ve perpetrated litigation jihads against them and fighting–and beating– false criminal charges and frame-up jobs cleverly committed by them.  And there’s so much more of that to come, G-d-willing and with your help.

If there are other ways you can help, please drop me a line. I welcome and encourage your donations to keep this site and its continuing growth and expansion going. Again, please use the yellow donate PayPal button to the right.

Even when new stuff isn’t immediately posted, it’s because we are working on some new and exciting things behind the scenes to help fight the encroachment of Islam on America. Those things involve a lot of time and money, which we have expended and which we’ll be telling you about in the coming days and weeks. Things that deserve and need your support and donations to expand and succeed.

Thank you for your continued readership and for supporting my work!

Mid-Week Box Office: “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” (Graphic Dismemberment, References Gang Rape)

By Debbie Schlussel

If you want to know my review of “The Twilight Saga:  Eclipse,” in theaters today, check out my review of “The Twilight Saga:  New Moon.” It’s the same movie, only this latest regurgitation is far more boring.  Been there, induced to sleep through that.  The only difference is that this one has graphic violence and a not-vague-enough mention of gang rape. Yay.

twilighteclipse

It’s no coincidence that the movie posters for this and the second installment of the teen angst vampires versus wolves saga are almost exactly the same.  The story is identical.  A brooding high school teen , Bella, is in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen.  But her American Indian friend, Jacob, is a werewolf who is in love with her, too, and fights over her.  Meanwhile, “newbie” vampires are thirsting for human blood and planning to drink that of Bella and her town.

Yawn.  Like I said, it’s the same boring, overwrought story as the second movie:  the vampire and the werewolf fighting over the mortal chick.  The same icky late-40s and 50-something moms are flocking to see it and pedophile-esquely drooling over 17-year-old Taylor Lautner (Jakob) showing his ripped bare chest, etc.   “Eeuuww:  The sequel.”  And the same over-abundant uber-excess of making out and brooding goes on throughout this one as it did in the second installment.  It’s just warmed over old milk, tasting even more spoiled.
