It says a lot about blithering liberal whack job Piers Morgan that even the liberal New York Times was taken aback by his obnoxious, unhinged behavior on last night’s edition of his little-watched CNN show. The New York Times accurately said Morgan was “losing it” when he was unable to respond with reasoned arguments to the well-reasoned, well-spoken, and even-keeled Gun Owners of America chief Larry Pratt. Instead, because he could not refute Pratt’s terrific arguments and solid statements, Morgan resorted to utter rudeness, belittling Pratt and calling him an “idiot.” The thing is, the exchange made quite clear that Pratt was the brilliant one, Morgan the obvious idiot. He’s just obnoxious. You must watch the video, below. Pratt cleaned Morgan’s clock, and Morgan couldn’t handle it (he clearly needs medication or anger management or something). I also think that his last attack on Pratt was because he raised the specter of Neville Chamberlain, and I believe that Piers Morgan is so ignorant that he doesn’t know who Chamberlain was or his significance in “fighting the good fight” for capitulation to Nazis (the same fight Morgan seems to be fighting today).

Oh, and by the way, as I’ve noted on this site, before, Piers Morgan was fired from the newspaper he ran in England, after running fake photos of “atrocities” committed by British troops in Iraq, photos that were not only false but which cost some British soldiers their lives. Morgan also helped himself to some insider trading while at the paper, too. (No wonder this jerk is on the Crescent/Coran News Network.) Read the rest of this entry »

I think we’ve found the family of the year: this nutty family, the Festermans. I’m surprised they’re even married (assuming the reporter got that part right and I don’t assume a thing with Detroit’s lying FOX News operation that constantly broadcasts bunk as “fact”). The “father” a/k/a sperm donor really set a great example for his son. Normally, I’d say that filing charges against this guy is going overboard, but in this case, I’d say teach this lying fool a lesson–the one he won’t teach his son, which is why his son brought this stuff to school and sprayed it. These parents seem kind of proud of it all. Very sad. If I were the judge, I’d sentence this guy to a whole day in a room scented with “Liquid Ass.”

Also, why the heck is this “news”? Yet, it was the lead story on Detroit’s FOX News owned-and-operated Detroit FOX 2 News newscast, last night. But, then, that’s typical for this lowest of the low newscasts that panders to an urban audience like much of the rest of its programming.

When will the feds stop calling Muslims who claim allegiance to Al-Qaeda and want to mass murder Americans, “lone wolves”? Probably never, but it’s like calling Barack Obama a conservative. Neither could be less accurate. And so it goes for the Jihad Bros. Raees Alam Qazi and his brother, Sheheryar Alam Qazi, planned to bomb various targets in New York City to take revenge on America for drone attacks on Islamic terrorists. They researched how to use Christmas tree lights (“allahu fubar, let’s kill the Christians!”) for attacks, and they looked into targets on Wall Street (“allahu fubar, let’s kill the evil Zionists!”). They also looked into attacks on Times Square and Broadway (“allahu fubar,” let’s kill the gays!”). Oh, and did I mention that at least one of them slept at a mosque in the course of his travels to New York for the Christmas Jihad?

One other thing of note, other than their religion–which ain’t mentioned in any of the mainstream media news stories: they were naturalized U.S. citizens who grew up here. Yet more evidence, a la Nidal Malik Hasan, of what we already know: that exposure to American culture doesn’t make ’em hate us any less. It just makes us a host for hungry and quickly metastasizing cancer.

A Pakistani-born man wanted to avenge the deaths of U.S. drone attacks in Afghanistan by blowing up a New York City landmark but lacked the money and materials to carry out the plan, a federal prosecutor said Tuesday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Karen Gilbert said at a bail hearing that Raees Alam Qazi, 20, researched bomb-making techniques on Internet sites affiliated with al-Qaida, including one using Christmas tree lights, and the FBI recorded phone calls and conversations linking Qazi to a purported “lone wolf” plot. **** UPDATE: Sadly, Cerberus caved and is selling Remington. Hmmm . . . is this the dog guarding the gates of hell or the one opening the gates of hell to wreak havoc upon us? Isn’t this the same outfit that made a mess of Chrysler at one point in recent history?****

The attacks on the Second Amendment and gun makers, in the aftermath of the mass shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School, are getting really ridiculous beyond anything we’ve seen before after other school shootings. It’s the biggest hijacking of a tragedy yet by the gun grabbers. Now, the country’s largest teacher pension fund is looking at pulling $500 million in investment capital from a private equity firm because of its ownership in a gun maker. What if guns were not available to Adam Lanza, and he detonated a bomb instead and killed even more people, even more kids? What then? Would we divest from and ban basic household substances and chemicals?

Really? This is really happening? Sadly, yes, and it could be the start of a disturbing trend:

Donya Berry Paniccia is a devout Shi’ite Muslim resident of Dearbornistan who hails from the prominent Hezbollah Berry family. Her relative, Nabih Berri, is the Hezbollah-backed speaker of the Lebanese Parliament who heads Harakat Amal, the Shi’ite Amal militia terrorist group. And Ms. Berry, who supports gun control in the wake of Friday’s mass murder shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, also has another “solution” to the world’s problems: take licenses away from Black people, or, in her preferred vernacular, “N-ggers.” (Oh, and she also hates Jews like me, as she’s made clear.)

I’ve long written on this site about the racism against Black people throughout the Muslim world–in which Blacks are derogatorily referred to as “abeed” (Arabic for “slaves” but used as the N-word–“abed” is singular, or “slave”), and that includes throughout the Islamic world in the U.S. This is just another manifestation of it, as Ms. Berry so “eloquently” stated on Twitter (follow me on Twitter):

It’s another weekend of not-so-thrilling new movies at theaters:

* “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey“: I was so bored during this nearly-three-hours-long “prequel” to the “Lord of the Rings” movies that while I was watching I made up a rap song for my review:

Bilbo Baggins,
Your story is saggin’;

Great special effects,
But this movie is as thrilling as counting to googolplex;

Way too violent for kids,
Beheadings, dismemberments, and mutilations–gee whiz.

There was much more to my rap (I had almost three hours to compose it), but you get the point. I wasn’t sure what the point of this movie was, other than to make a gazillion more dollars for filmmakers. The movie got much better in the last hour or so, but up to that point, it was a long, slow, boring slog and very desperately in need of editing down to half its time. Dwarves who fight off dog-like, bald, human-beast giants who ride giant dogs, monsters, and so on and so forth. Terrific special effects and computer-generated images. If you’ve seen the other Hobbit/Lord of the Rings movies (which I haven’t seen but am told are better than this), you know what to expect. Read the rest of this entry »

Many readers and friends have asked my reaction to today’s shooting and murder of 26 people (including 20 children who were students) at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. My first response is sorrow and condolences for the families of the victims. My second response is: how long will it take for gun-grabbing opportunists to predictably step on these shattered lives and call for more gun control? And the answer to that is the usual–not long at all.

A Michigan law that is working its way through the legislature to allow Concealed Pistol License (CPL) holders to bring guns into schools (with a few hours of additional training by the CPL holder) may now be held up because gun-grabbers will use this tragic incident as an argument against it. And, essentially, they will compare innocent, law-abiding, trained gun owners to this crazy person who shot up the kids today.

But schools need more guns in the hands of law-abiding adults, not less. In Israel, there are armed security guards at schools. And despite the fact that Israel is surrounded by those who would destroy it, despite the fact that there are rocket and other terrorist attacks against Israelis every single day, the kids at Israeli schools are very safe. The only times when they’ve been killed is when there were no guns around, as with the Merkaz HaRav Yeshivah, where students were shot up and murdered by two Islamic terrorists in 2008. (They were finally stopped by guns.)

In fact, because schools are guarded by armed guards in Israel, students at schools there have a much greater chance of being attacked and/or killed in a bus bomb on the way to or from school than when they are in their classrooms. And while in their classrooms, the greatest threat is a HAMAS rocket, not a crazy armed gunman like the one at Sandy Hook Elementary today. Read the rest of this entry »

Earlier in the week, I said that I thought something was not all there about Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who committed suicide after a minor connection to the Australian DJ radio prank on the hospital where Princess Kate was staying for morning sickness (and that the radio DJs shouldn’t be blamed for her suicide). Now, it’s come out that Saldanha left not just one suicide note, but THREE. Huh? Who does that? How many times have you ever heard of a person committing suicide leaving three notes?

I now wonder if she actually committed suicide. Maybe someone wanted to get rid of her and this was the perfect opportunity. In any event, three suicide notes is not the norm and makes the whole thing very suspicious. And one of the notes blames the hospital (apparently not the DJs) for not treating her so well after the incident, contrary to the hospital’s statement that it was supportive of her.

Hmmm . . .

The nurse found dead following a hoax call to the hospital treating the Duchess of Cambridge criticised senior colleagues over her treatment in one of three suicide notes, it has emerged. Read the rest of this entry »
