It’s January, the other pet cemetery to which Hollywood sends its crappy movies to die a quick and painless death (the other movie cemetery is August). So, the new movies Hollywood dumped on us this weekend ain’t no great shakes. Oddly enough, the most enjoyable and only entertaining one of the bunch stars an aged liberal ex-Governor whom I despise.

* “The Last Stand“: This is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s comeback vehicle for senior citizen action hero status. And while it’s a crummy movie, it’s mildly entertaining and far better than I expected. You know what you’re gonna get with this–lots of guns, shooting, action, car chases, stunts, and other stuff typical to pre-Governator, Maid-Impregnator Schwarzenegger movies. Keep in mind that this extremely bloody and violent movie, filled with guns is the comeback vehicle of a man who exuberantly supported gun control as the Governor of California.

Also, I had to laugh at Arnie’s lines like, “My honor can’t be bought,” when I think of how the real-life guy uttering those lines has no honor at all. Remember, this is the guy who invited major Nazi and Wehrmacht intelligence office Kurt Waldheim (who sent tens of thousands of Yugoslavian Jews to their deaths in the camps) to the Arnold-Maria wedding. At the Schwarzenegger-Shriver wedding, Arnold opened a gift from the Nazi Waldheim, who could not attend because, at that point, his Nazi past was exposed and he was on the no fly-list. And it’s time for another episode of “Your Day” in “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness.” They say that a million Muslims now live in New York City and its boroughs, so you can expect more and more of this, as their numbers increase. Kevin McCarron, 24, of Massachusetts, is fighting for his life after Palestinian Muslim, Hatem Farsakh, his Muslim buddy, Sharif Rizk (who is probably Egyptian or Lebanese), and their gang of Muslim thugs savagely beat McCarron with a tire iron, bat, and other weapons, for the “crime” of being a non-Muslim tourist in New York’s Greenwich Village. McCarron’s skull was severely fractured by these Bahayim [Arabic for “animals”]. Farsakh, a Palestinian activist from Brooklyn, claims he was enjoying falafel from “Mamoun’s Falafel” when the brutal beating took place. Even if McCarron lives, he will never be the same and has suffered lasting, serious damage to his ability to function as a person. See, they don’t just do this to the Saturday People. They do it to the Sunday (and no day) People, too.

Muslims Hatem Farsakh & Sharif Rizk Perpetrated Savage Hate Crime on Kevin McCarron . . .

Hatem Farsakh, 24, denies he was part of a six-member crew that clubbed 24-year-old Kevin McCarron with a bat, tire iron and blackjack in the middle of McDougal St. near Artichoke pizza.

Cops say he participated in a beating that nearly killed a man in Greenwich Village — but Hatem Farsakh seemed to care more about his sandwich. Farsakh, 24, was relaxed Wednesday, hours after being charged with brutalizing Kevin McCarron, 24, of Andover, Mass.

Video showed a prone McCarron getting clobbered on MacDougal St. . . . The brutes, who were celebrating Sherif Rizk’s graduation from Brooklyn College, are seen bashing McCarron’s head with a tire iron, baseball bat and blackjack — but Farsakh denies it. Read the rest of this entry »

Would Nicholas Kristof still have a New York Times column if he tweeted that the Gay lobby, HAMAS CAIR, and the NAACP were “pigs”? Nope. But he tweeted that the NRA and AIPAC–the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (the pro-Israel lobby, which BTW has remained mum on the Chuck Hagel nomination) are the two biggest “pigs.” And so hardly an eyelash is batted.

Barack Obama’s statist gun control package dovetails all too conveniently with a lawsuit just filed by the widow of a victim of the Colorado Batman shooting at a movie theater showing of “The Dark Knight.” Chantel Blunk filed suit against Dr. Lynne Fenton, a psychiatrist who treated mass murderer James Holmes. In her lawsuit, Blunk argues that the psychiatrist should have told police about her patient. And that’s what Barack Obama wants your doctor to do about you. It’ll put a stunning crimp on the health of Americans and turn all of your doctors into the thought police. Thought police like my former pediatrician, Dr. George Blum. He’d take everyone’s guns away if he could.

When I was a kid, I went for years to Dr. Blum. I have no complaints about his check-ups or his treatment. But he was an orthodox liberal who mistook his leftist political views for healthcare. I learned this years later, when I was running for the Michigan House of Representatives for a second time, having lost by just one vote the first time around. I was endorsed by the Michigan State Medical Society, and I held a fundraiser for doctors at a friend’s lakeside home. While it was sparsely attended, the event was a huge success because most doctors were at work but they sent checks (which is the point of a campaign fundraiser). But who did attend? My childhood doctor, Dr. Blum. And so did then-Michigan State Medical Society lobbyist Gregory Aronin. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting sick and tired of hearing about how Mr. Arrogant, Lance Armstrong, is giving his confession about steroids to HRHSBotU [Her Royal Highness Supreme Being of the Universe] Oprah, Ms. Arrogant. I was sick of the story the first time I heard it. Now, it’s really overkill. It is as if Oprah is some god or high priestess and only she can hear confessions from us lesser mortals–but only the lesser mortals that are celebs, not us little people–and that, she, and she alone, can confer the necessary forgiveness to make it all go away. And only she can deign who is worthy of forgiveness.

It elevates this calorically-gifted, New Age psychobabblist to godlike status. And it’s disgusting. But what else is new? This is what you get when two symbiotic hyper-narcissist frauds perpetrate something on America . . . the Kardashian-viewing segment of the country that actually cares about this crap (and voted for Obama).

There probably aren’t two more arrogant people in this world (except the Obamas) than Lance Armstrong and Oprah Winfrey. He is on his own Conceit and Deceit World Tour, and she is just on her Everlasting Lifelong Conceit World Tour (Sponsored by Upper Class Liberal White Housewives Who Want to Feel Unracist & So They Buy $500 Cashmere Q-Tips From Oprah’s Favorite Things). I was disgusted, back in the summer, when Rush Limbaugh–and his constant echo chamber copycat, Sean Hannity–repeatedly defended Armstrong after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and cycling’s governing body declared that Armstrong doped and that they were pulling all of his cycling wins, including several Tour De France titles. Why are they defending this jerk? They acted as if he was some huge victim and a conservative cause celebre. Not even close. He’s a dude who dumped his wife (and kids) who stuck with him while he had cancer and made his comeback, so that he could now be free to “date” (euphemism) a bevy of blonde heiresses and celebrity bimbos, living the life of a super jock (when he wasn’t really one) with multiple glamorous sperm receptacles.

I really couldn’t care less that Lance Armstrong was doping. I’ve written before on this site about how I don’t oppose the use of steroids and performance-enhancing drugs in professional sports, so long as they are made legal for adults and are out in the open. And, unlike in other pro sports, virtually the entire class of elite cyclists was doping when Armstrong was. But he’s a liar and a fraud (and a liberal who whined about counterterrorism spending after 9/11) who lucked out by appearing at the Bush White House and cycling with George W. Bush and getting out of being prosecuted by the Justice Department, which closed its investigation of him, despite going after doctors and others. He sued newspapers for defamation and went after fellow cyclists who admitted to doping and said Armstrong did, too. And it was all a fake-out. Read the rest of this entry »

If you’re planning to visit the City of Detroit, keep this in mind: almost 16% of those murdered in D-Mecca are visitors from out of town. Makes ya wanna visit, huh? On the other hand, some in the know claim that the 66 homicides of out-of-towners in the city are people who visit to procure prostitutes and illegal drugs (though this is the standard attack by nativist Detroiters on the evil “suburbs” a/k/a White people). In that case, I don’t feel too bad for them. On the other hand, others are innocent, like the ten visitors to Detroit for the Super Bowl who were killed with 10,000 members of local, state, and federal law enforcement on the streets at the time and whose murders were never solved.

The rage at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit is the new 2014 Corvette Stingray. It reminds me of a Datsun from the ’80s. Yes, I know it’s “sleek” and all the usual gushing jargon you’ll hear from some car fanatics. But it looks just like the Aston Martins I saw at a Detroit screening of the James Bond movie, “Skyfall.” Big price tag, small Datsun-esque (or Nissan-esque), average look. The car has a 6.2 liter V8 engine, goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in four seconds, and gets 26 miles to the gallon. Does that meet Obama standards? Presumably it was designed with the Obama people in charge at the time. I like cool cars, but this doesn’t do it for me. How about you? (If you want to know the price, they aren’t telling . . . yet.)

Tonight, Stone and his friend, Peter Kuznick, broadcast the final episode of their revisionist, anti-American history of the United States on Showtime. The show, “The Untold History of the United States,” follows their revisionist, Anti-American book of the same name. To promote the show, they authored a long attack on America in today’s USA Today. Perhaps a name change of Anti-USA Today is in order. While their article is an attack on Barack Obama from the far-left–lumping him in with George W. Bush in saying that both want an “American empire,” among their comments are loud and obnoxious attacks on Israel and praise of Iran and Hagel.

Obama has been hard on Iran, tightening sanctions and threatening military action if it pursues a nuclear weapons program that the intelligence community has consistently said it abandoned in 2003, and soft on Israel, whose government’s recalcitrance and expansion of settlements undermine the prospects for a two-state solution. . . .

There are, however, a few signs of hope that Obama’s approach is changing. Nominating Chuck Hagel as secretary of Defense — with his criticism of the Israel lobby, sensible approach toward Iran, opposition to the surge in Iraq and repudiation of nuclear weapons — and John Kerry as secretary of State represents a major break with the hawks who populated Obama’s first administration. The mainstream media, pop culture, and Hollywood are all abuzz about the “coming out” speech at last night’s “Golden Globes” Clinton-Fest awards show by Jodie Foster, who actually outed herself as a lesbian over five years ago when she praised her then-“partner” Cydney Bernard. It was bizarre to watch her two fatherless sons cheering on her rambling, weird speech. And Bill Clinton was there because, like all liberal Presidents, he loves to hobnob with Hollywood’s royalty of proud high school grads. And also because when someone asked him if he’d like to attend the Golden Globes, he probably thought they were referring to the upper part of a woman’s anatomy. But the most outrageous thing is that Hollywood, in honoring Jodie Foster, was honoring someone who has served as the apologist for assorted real-life Nazis and their wannabe imitators. Not that excusing Jew-hatred and Nazi-love in Hollywood is anything new.

As I’ve previously told you, Jodie Foster wanted to play Nazi filmmaker and Hitler girlfriend Leni Riefenstahl in a biopic she was to produce, glorifying Riefenstahl, who forced concentration camp inmates to play extras in her propaganda movies on behalf of the Third Reich. Foster said Riefenstahl was “misunderstood” and actually a great person. I guess I can’t blame just Foster, since the Academy Awards fondly remembered Riefenstahl a few years ago. Then, “Rabbi Jodie” told us that her “surrogate father” Mel Gibson (as she called him at last night’s Globes show) wasn’t anti-Semitic, despite a history of his and his father’s anti-Semitic comments against Jews (and their Holocaust-denial).
