Even if you are not a “Star Wars” fan (I am), you’re probably familiar with Jabba the Hutt, the giant blob of a character who enslaves Princess Leia in “Return of the Jedi” and kidnaps and freezes Han Solo. Well, now, apparently Jabba and his palace are anti-Muslim and racist, according to the followers of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage . . . and “Peace.” Muslims want an apology from Lego, the Danish toy company, because they say that the Lego Jabba the Hutt Palace resembles two mosques and is therefore an abomination to Islam. My only question is: do mosques come equipped with a leashed woman in a metal bikini and a strange braided hairstyle? Might liven things up if they did. Just sayin’. On the other hand, no Muslim ever had a harem or a scantilly clad chick perform a belly dance for him, right? Just askin’. Even more hilarious is that these people call Jabba a “terrorist” and are upset that he likes to smoke a hookah. Um, look in the mirror, Muslims. Just sayin’ #2.

Oh, and note that one of the mosques that the Muslims believe is being imitated by Jabba’s Palace was originally a CHURCH (but, per usual, forcibly taken over by Muslims and converted into a mosque). Helloooooo . . .?

Austria’s Turkish community said the model was based on Hagia Sophia mosque in Istanbul and that the accompanying figures depicted Asians and Orientals as people with “deceitful and criminal personalities.”

The Turkish Cultural Community of Austria released a statement calling for Lego to apologise for affronting religious and cultural feelings.

The anger was provoked by “Jabba’s Palace”, a model of the home of Jabba the Hutt from Lego’s Star Wars product range based on the blockbusting series of science fiction films. . . . Read the rest of this entry »

Can’t let the week go by without noting the passing of Michael Winner, the multi-talented director of the first three “Death Wish” movies and the original, “The Mechanic,” all of them starring one of my favorite actors, the late Charles Bronson. Although he directed many other films and pursued other career paths in the public eye, Winner was best known for the Death Wish films because mainstream movie critics–all of them liberal at the time–panned them. But they struck a nerve with the rest of America, especially the original 1974 Death Wish, because Americans identified with the main character, Paul Kersey–a wealthy, liberal New York City architect who strikes back after criminals murder his wife and rape his daughter. My late father, a fan of the movie and of Bronson, introduced me to “Death Wish” in 1984, when liberals and authorities were going after Bernhard Goetz for shooting criminal thugs who were about to mug and stab him with sharpened screw drivers on the New York subway and do who knows what else to him.

Paul Winner’s original Death Wish stands the test of time, and with violent crime rising to 1970s levels in places like Detroit and the Obama Administration and liberals like Diane Feinstein trying to take our guns, it is more relevant than ever. I believe I captured the attraction to Winner’s movie in my column on the 35th anniversary of “Death Wish.” Here’s part of it:

Liberals hated “Death Wish,” because of its message that vengeance and vigilantism work. They hated that the hero of the movie is a liberal pacifist who realizes his way is the wrong way. And they hated Charles Bronson for the rest of his life–the rest of his acting career–for playing Paul Kersey, “Death Wish’s” sly, silent, and clever protagonist who shoots criminals after his wife is murdered and his daughter raped into a state of catatonia. They never forgave him for it.

Below is Mercedes Benz’s new Super Bowl ad, starring model Kate Upton, heiress to the Whirlpool fortune and niece of effeminate, liberal, pro-Muslim Republican Fred Upton. It’s spurring a lot of controversy, and the Parents’ Television Council is blasting it as too sexual. I totally get that and think that everything in society now is way too sexualized to the point that kids long ago stopped having a childhood and so on. Plus the ad is kinda cheap and low-class. On the other hand, to me the ad is nothing new and merely a rip off of a superior (in comparison) 1992 Pepsi Super Bowl ad starring the Kate Upton of her day, Cindy Crawford. That ad is also posted below. Yes, Cindy’s denim cut-off jean shorts are maybe an inch longer and her tank top shows probably an inch less cleavage. But it’s essentially the same ad featuring a similar woman–they both even have the same mole above the mouth (though Crawford is far better looking). Also, I’ve seen far worse, more objectionable stuff, including a sleazy Kate Upton ad for Carl’s Jr. Frankly, I don’t think it’ll help Mercedes sell more cars, as you barely notice the product and it defeats the purpose of the ad, as well as cheapening what, until now, was marketed as something of refinement and featured the voice of “Mad Men’s” Jon Hamm.

It’s sad that Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced that he’s making it official that women are allowed in combat roles in the U.S. Armed Forces. But if we’re honest with ourselves, we’ll admit that women have already been in combat roles for the U.S. for years. And it’s long been a failure (just like we had three chick Secretaries of State and each of them has been a failure).

Last year, I wrote about the female U.S. Marines who tried to become infantrymen. Only two of them made it through the requirements to enter the program (probably because they were given an extra leg up merely because they were women). And both dropped out because they couldn’t keep up. They simply couldn’t meet the standards. And so, now, the Marines are going to lower the standards for the Marine infantry training so that more women can enter the program and at least one of them can pass. It’s a disaster. And it’s the same disaster that’s set up to occur with the newly opened combat positions to women. The standards will be lowered for women to succeed. I know I’m not the only American genuinely outraged by Hillary Clinton’s faux-drama and self-righteous, self-serving indignation about who murdered four Americans at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. As you saw during her well-rehearsed testimony yesterday, several of the Republican Senators weren’t buying it either. But her comments were really outrageous if you look at them. She was essentially saying that Islamic terrorism doesn’t matter, that Islamic terrorist attacks on Americans don’t matter, and that Islamic terrorists are just some guys going out for a walk like the average couple in your neighborhood walking their dog.

With all due respect [DS: meaning Hillary Clinton has no respect for these guys and thinks none is due], the fact is we had four dead Americans. . . . Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?

That a Secretary of State of the United States of America–a wannabe President who is already unofficially running for that office for the second time–would make such a statement is incredible. It makes all the difference in the world why the U.S. Consulate was attacked and why four Americans–including the U.S. Ambassador–were murdered. And why, instead of denouncing Islamic terrorists who did it, this same Secretary of State Clinton denounced American free speech as exercised in an amateurish so-called movie trailer and at the same time apologized to Muslims around the world for the Islamic killing of Americans whom she abandoned and didn’t keep safe. It’s not that I would ever push weed on our kids. But if they wanted to, I would love to show them how.

–Snoop Lion a/k/a Snoop Dogg a/k/a former pimp/drug dealer Calvin Broadus, Jr. on what he wants to teach eight-year-old boys who play in his youth football league across America.

Since back in early 2006, I’ve decried the fact that rapper Snoop Dogg a/k/a Calvin Broadus (who recently announced he was gonna go by the name, “Snoop Lion”) is embraced by “parents” all over urban areas, who send their eight- and nine-year-old sons to play in the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL), which is fast overtaking Pop Warner youth football as the football league of choice for kids in inner city America. As I’ve noted, Snoop got his start as a drug dealer and pimp and continues to glorify the drug and pimp culture through reality TV shows, explicit raps, and other “activities” in his gangsta lifestyle. For a lot of kids in Black America, born out of wedlock, Snoop will be the only male “role model” they will ever have. And it won’t end well. Now, Snoop says he wants to teach the eight-year-old kids in his youth football league how to smoke marijuana.

I don’t just blame Snoop for this horror story. I blame the NFL for elevating and partnering with this jerk. And I blame supposedly “responsible” authorities, like the Detroit Police Department, for honoring and promoting this thug and his Pot-Smoking-Fo’-Yo’-Kidzz Football League. When Superbowl 2006 happened in Detroit, the Detroit Police Athletic League sponsored Snoop’s SYFL “Snooper Bowl.” And the NFL has repeatedly promoted Snoop’s kiddie football league, lending it credibility and promoting it on the NFL website and the NFL Network.

My dear friends and readers, I’m so sorry for my absence the last day or so, but, rest assured, I was helping the Good Guys, with 2 capital “G”s. I was in downtown Detroit with the Feds all day yesterday representing a client pro bono in a matter I can’t discuss because it’s not public record. But, again, we were helping the Good Guys against the forces of Evil with a capital “E,” and I hope when the matter becomes public, I can tell you about it. Wish I could tell you more, but I can’t, right now. And it was so cold, yesterday in Tundrageddon a/k/a D-Meccapocalypse a/k/a the ghost town that is Detroit, that when I returned, I was exhausted. Also, I’m desperately trying to finish another project for the good guys that I can’t disclose at this time (but very soon I shall), so I have been absent from here a bit. That’ll change back real soon.

Thanks to all of you who expressed concern. No, the Muslims and Polish Nazis who regularly send me death threats haven’t taken me yet. I’m still here to fight another day. Thanks to all of you for your support and continued readership. Stay tuned and ya’ll come back now, ya hear?

More “you stay classy” stuff from the Obamas today, this time from Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Hussein, er . . . “H.” Obama Idi Amin Dada. At today’s Inauguration lunch, she rudely rolled her eyes at Speaker of the House John Boehner, her hubby’s not-so-opposite Republican “opposition.” The eye telegram is what’s known as “throwing shade,” a term meant to describe denouncing, trash-talking, or otherwise disrespecting someone else. Mrs. Obama knew all the cameras were on her, and she didn’t just do this by accident. Nothing is “by accident” with the Obamas. When will they realize they won and act like graceful winners? Never.

New hairstyle/wig/bangs. New clothes. New Presidential term. Same ol’ low class. Now you know why I call this haughty woman the First Ms. Thang. She thinks she’s something special. But she isn’t. I betcha Ann Romney would not be caught in the eye roll dissin’.

As you know, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I’m working on an important project I must finish and since things haven’t changed a lick, I’m reposting what I wrote last year on this day. Two things remain constant: King was pro-Israel and a philo-Semite, and Jew-hating, anti-Israel Muslims (a redundant phrase) continue to hijack his name and memory for their evil, hateful purposes. Their experience in hijacking wasn’t just confined to 9/11.

Peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous example of what can be done, how desert land can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.

He Had a Dream: That One Day Israel Would Be Secure & Jew-Haters Would Stop Attacking Israel . . .

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Every year on this day, I have to write this . . . because every year the Muslim phonies hijack the name of Martin Luther King, Jr.–who was PRO-ISRAEL–and try to make the civil rights struggle of Black people (many of whose ancestors were sold into slavery by Muslim Arabs) into the same thing as defending a violent religion that commits terrorist acts around the world every single hour. It’s amazing that a religion whose US-based “leaders” constantly claim that the 9/11 hijackers hijacked a religion (rather than what really happened–Islam hijacked them), is so consistent in its hijacking of things that stand counter to what Islam stands for. And, with Martin Luther King, Jr., they hijack the name and legacy of a man who stood with Israel and against them. Paul Ryan could have skipped today’s coronation, er . . . inauguration of Barack now-just-“H.” Obama for a second term. After all, Ryan expected to be there in Joe Biden’s place before the depressing election night results were in. But he did the classy thing and attended as a Member of Congress, saying it was his obligation. He even congratulated Obama and praised him. And how was he repaid? With the typical “class” of the ObamaPhone crowd: boos. If Romney had won, I doubt the Republican audience would have done the same for Obama. Oh, and, then, there’s the typical “class” of Barack Obama, who attacked Paul Ryan in his Inauguration speech. Talk about piling on and rubbing it in. Cheap, Mr. President. Cheap.

If things had gone differently in November, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) might have departed the Capitol on Monday as the vice president of the United States.
