I liked all the new movies at the box office this weekend. Two were decent. One was absolutely fabulous. (I did not see Monsters University. Sorry.)
* “The Bling Ring“: I expected to hate this movie, based on the real-life story of a group of Los Angeles-area teens who rob the homes of their favorite celebrities. But I really liked it, as an excellent portrait of today’s fame-obsessed, airheaded, Valley Girl-esque youth, who feel they are entitled to the good life without working for it, that they can just steal it. It was also a great insight into the clueless, vapid parents littered all over America. The movie was funny, entertaining, fast-paced, and didn’t leave you bored for a second. It’s also a great statement on today’s celebrities, who didn’t actually do anything substantive to earn their fame, for the most part. Paris Hilton, whose real-life, gaudy brothel-esque home was used in the filming of this movie, makes a cameo, and she’s Exhibit A (she’s famous for making a porno tape and little else).
A fashion conscious glamor girl from Calabasas, California befriends the new guy at high school, and they start breaking into homes of rich kids they know are out of town, stealing glamorous fashion items and jewelry (bling) from the homes. Soon, the two and the rest of their friends are breaking into various celebrities’ homes when they learn online that the celebs are out of town. They steal the celebrities’ expensive designer clothes, shoes, purses, and other items (including a gun), and they’re brazen about it, including on social media. Hmmm . . . some bizarre stories in the news in the last couple of days, and here are my reactions via tweets on Twitter (follow me on Twitter). Also, check out my response, below, to a typically disgusting Shi’ite Muslim from Dearbornistan. They all seem to have these weird, forced sexual fantasies about me.
* Chelsea Clinton said she is upset her great-grandmother didn’t have access to Planned Parenthood (and that her granny’s birth was “an unintended pregnancy”). Huh? Here’s my response.
Actually, make that, “We’re upset all four of your great-grandmas didn’t have access to Planned Parenthood, Chelsea.”
* Skanky porn star Kim Kardashian and racist Black Panther son/Muslim Kanye West named their new daughter the absurd name, “North West.” Not kidding. Read the rest of this entry »

For those who think that FOX News is “better” or “more accurate” than or “different” from CNN, you should ask yourself why FOX News keeps hiring the dregs of CNN rejects. The arrogant, smug, hypocritical Howard “Howie” Kurtz is Exhibit A, FOX News’ newest on-air hire. He’s not just liberal. He’s a stark example of how liberal mainstream media reporters lie and make things up. Now he’ll be doing it at FOX News, after years of such blather on CNN. Oh, and he’s also a fan of Muslim extremists.
For decades, Kurtz hosted the most boring show on television, “Unreliable Sources,” on CNN and wasn’t afraid to lie on the air . . . and share his left-wing points of view. He was recently canned by The Daily Beast and Newsweek after he showed his penchant for inaccurate “reporting” and inability to read. He criticized Jason Collins, the former NBA player who came out as gay, for not disclosing that he was previously engaged to a woman. But, in fact, Collins explicitly disclosed that in the Sports Illustrated article in which he announced he is gay. Great stuff for a guy who markets himself as a “reliable source” in journalism and calls his show, “Reliable Sources.” (Kurtz had no problem, though, with the fact that Collins didn’t bother to tell his fiancee that he’s gay . . . for eight years! And that’s Collins’ real transgression. That and expecting us to give him accolades for telling us he likes to sleep with men.)
Then, there was Kurtz’s “interview” with Jihad Darrell Issa in The Daily Beast. Kurtz did his typical softball interview with the Hezbollah-supporting/Arafat fan Republican Member of Congress . . . except the interview wasn’t with Issa at all, but his spokesman. Kurtz lied and reported that the interview was with Issa, anyway. And even after Issa’s spokesman told him to correct it, Kurtz kept the interview as it was for two months, because if Kurtz’s employers knew his “reporting” was that fictional, he might get fired. So he kept the interview he claimed was with Issa up for months (despite knowing it was not with Issa) until he got caught. Although this incident wasn’t enough to get him fired, the Collins incident was the last straw for The Daily Beast and Newsweek, and nearly the last straw for CNN. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m not supporter of PETA–or as we call it on this site, “PUTAh–People for the Unethical Treatment of Animals and humans”–but if there was ever a time to ask, “Where’s PETA when you need ’em?” this is it! Check out what some woman did to her dog to win a competition. And other dog owners have done the same ludicrous thing. Um, G-d created a dog to look like a dog, not a bad hooked rug design from your great-aunt in 1973. Your dog is not supposed to look like the Muppets or a giraffe or the band KISS. It’s especially NOT supposed to look like a raccoon is permanently having sex with it. (Photos of all of that, below.) Sorry. It’s just wrong. And you probably have Waaaay. Tooooo. Muuuuch. Time on your hands.

Would Serena Williams have attacked a rape victim in Steubenville, Ohio if the races were reversed? If the victim had been Black and both of her two convicted rapists had been White (one was Black)?
That’s the question no one dares ask in the outrage over the champion tennis player’s comments attacking the rape victim. And I think we all know the answer. No, she wouldn’t have said a thing. Richard Williams, father of Venus and Serena Williams, is well known for playing the race card and saying–despite all his daughters’ success in the tennis world–that the whole world is raaaaacist! against them. It’s the thousand-pound chip the Williams family seems to enjoy wearing on its collective shoulder as its fave fashion accessory. Keep that in mind as you read her controversial statement, which should be more controversial because of the racism involved, rather than the question about the actions of the victim. With regard to the convicted football player rapists (a Black guy and a White guy), she told Rolling Stone:
Do you think it was fair, what they got? They did something stupid, but I don’t know. I’m not blaming the girl, but if you’re a 16-year-old and you’re drunk like that, your parents should teach you: don’t take drinks from other people. She’s 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn’t remember? It could have been much worse. She’s lucky. Obviously I don’t know, maybe she wasn’t a virgin, but she shouldn’t have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that’s different. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m not ashamed to say that I have a few songs from the ’80s pop duo, “Pet Shop Boys,” on my iPod for working out. (Their rendition of Where The Streets Have No Name (I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You) (2003 – Remaster)
British pop duo The Pet Shop Boys is facing pressure in Britain to call off its planned performance in Tel Aviv next Sunday. Pro-Palestinian are planning to protest outside an event the band members will be participating in later this week. “Open your eyes to the ugly reality of apartheid Israel,” reads a poster prepared for the protest, which is being promoted by a pro-Palestinian called Innovative Minds. “Cancel your Tel Aviv concert. Stand with the oppressed.”
Neil Tennant [DS: one of the two “Pet Shop Boys”] said in response to the boycott calls that there was no room to compare between the Israeli government’s policy and apartheid in South Africa. “I don’t agree with this comparison of Israel to apartheid-era South Africa,” Tennant wrote on the group’s official website. “It’s a caricature. Israel has (in my opinion) some crude and cruel policies based on defense; it also has universal suffrage and equality of rights for all its citizens, both Jewish and Arab. Meet yet another of Jeb Bush’s “more fertile” immigrants to America and one of Marco Boob-io’s sparkling candidates for a “path to citizenship,” Omar Abdelbadie.
The Egyptian Muslim immigrant is a Dean’s List student at the University of Washington, majoring in neurobiology and minoring in Japanese. He’s also a child molesting rapist, who got a 12-year-old girl high and raped her because, he said, she was “dressed provocatively.” Shouldn’t America make “pathway to citizenship for him,” so he no longer has to “hide in the shadows,” like Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, and Jeb Bush keep tellin’ us?
Why is this only second-degree child rape, and why did the judge give this child molester, who is a danger to society, bond? He’s out on bond now, and will probably flee the country.
A 22-year-old University of Washington senior is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl he met in Seattle’s University District. Court documents say Omar Abdelbadie, who is on the University’s dean’s list, saw the girl walking on “The Ave” Sunday and talked to her because she was dressed provocatively. The new Superman wants you to know he’s a sensitive girlieman type of “guy.”
Recently, I saw a commercial for annoying TV reality show, “The Bachelorette,” which advertised that the show will feature a lot of “man tears.” Like “man purse,” “mannie,” “man girdle,” and “mantyhose,” it’s just more of the feminization and chickification of America’s–and the Western World’s men–encouraging men to adopt the clothing, emotions, behavior, and characteristics of women. And, now, Superman is a vessel for this sad development.
Henry Cavill, the actor who plays “Man of Steel,” wants you to know he enjoys crying . . . a lot. Cavill gave several interviews saying he almost cried three times in the first half hour when he watched the new Superman movie in which he stars. (He also said he cried to his mom repeatedly while away at boarding school.) And in the June 24th issue of People magazine, Cavill says:

Hey, it’s more of Barack Obama’s War on Men at work.
If you believe in the free market as I do, then you believe that the only restraints on what you can achieve and how far you can go should be the limits on your own talents and abilities. But affirmative action says something else. It mandates that if you aren’t of the right gender or ethnicity, your talents and skills are subverted to quotas and those who aren’t as qualified as you get a leg up if they had the luck of being born to the right preferred group. And so it goes with Barack Obama’s new crop of astronauts. The Obama Administration announced that half of the eight new astronauts picked by NASA are women. This isn’t because they were more qualified or even AS QUALIFIED as the men against whom they competed. It’s because they have female plumbing a/k/a vaginas and breasts.
I’m not sure that it matters much anyway, since our space program doesn’t really exist anymore without manned flights to the moon or elsewhere, while China is up-up-and-away into space. And, so, American astronauts are like grounded cowboys without horses or land. But, still, the fact is that the Obamaniks not only transformed NASA into a Muslim outreach program, but also into an affirmative action cesspool. 6,300 applicants applied to become astronauts, and the vast majority of that pool were men. Statistically, it’s highly unlikely that half those picked would be women if they were judged only on qualifications and merits and not on gender.
Below are the backgrounds of the eight new astronaut candidates. Although all are impressive, the women’s backgrounds are not nearly as impressive as those of the men, and it’s pretty obvious that there were four (and many more) other men among the 6,300 applicants who had more impressive credentials than the chick who’s hanging out in American Samoa or the one who flies a helicopter:
