Veterans Day 2013: Remember the Sacrifices & Bring Our Troops in Afghanistan Home So They’ll Be Vets, Not Casualties

By Debbie Schlussel

As I always say on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, the service and sacrifices of those brave men who served on the battlefield and in other capacities should be remembered every single day and not just on these two holidays. And as I also always say, on this day, let’s remember those who are still serving America and bring them home safely so that they, too, will be veterans and not casualties. Without them, we wouldn’t be here, and we certainly wouldn’t be free. But their lives and limbs should be sacrificed sparingly . . . for things that matter, for wars that matter.

Today, as we celebrate Veterans Day and remember the service and sacrifices of those who served and survived, let’s remember that while they may have survived, many of our former troops came home with arms and legs missing, with eyes gone and whole faces and body parts disfigured, making life difficult for them forever. And let’s ask ourselves why we went into Iraq and Afghanistan, and why more than a decade later, we still have troops on the ground in Afghanistan, giving their limbs and lives on a regular basis. Think of those still in Afghanistan and ask why Barack Obama, who made a campaign pledge in 2008 to bring them all home, has not fulfilled his promise. These men are sitting ducks, being picked off daily. For what?

We went to “war” in Iraq and Afghanistan without actually going to war. While our military men were handing out candy and building roads to nowhere, Muslims surrounding them were always at war, constantly blowing our boys to bits. We went to war in Iraq to essentially hand over the country from Sunni Muslims who hate us (but maintained a sort of stability and bulwark against Iran) to Shi’ite Muslims who hate us and take orders from the Iranian Ayatollahs.

On this Veterans Day, I remember those who served in World War II, a war which America actually had the guts to fight. We weren’t there handing out candy and building roads while bombs fell upon us. We were prosecuting a war. And that’s why we won. I wonder what most of those World War II heroes–almost all of them now dead–think of the appeasement of the new (and old) Nazis, the Muslims, that has been going on in this country for years and became appeasement on steroids after 9/11 and ever since. Would we have appeased the Japanese because they bombed us at Pearl Harbor? No way. Read the rest of this entry »

75th Anniversary of Kristallnacht: Far Too Many Have Forgotten; Doomed for Repeat?

By Debbie Schlussel

Can’t let the weekend go by without remembering that this is the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht – the “Night” of the Broken Glass” – and the official start of the Holocaust. It took place on November 9-10 of 1938.

On that night, Nazis raided, vandalized, burned down, or otherwise destroyed German Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues, while non-Jewish residents and police and fireman watched and did nothing. More than 90 Jewish people were murdered, and about 30,000 Jewish men were sent to concentration camps where they, too, would mostly face death.

Anti-Semitism always dominated Europe, which is why my paternal grandfather’s immediate family left for America at the turn of the century and my paternal grandmother left not long after. But the night of November 9, 1938 marked the stark notice that this European anti-Semitism had escalated to a level of even more unspeakable horrors against Jews than previously imagined.

It was a loud disruption to the cocooned view of German Jews that they were cultured and mostly assimilated and, many of them, wealthy, and that their fellow Germans would never harm them. To date, many Jews refer to German Jews as “Yeccas,” or “Jackets,” because they were so high-cultured, so formal, and so much a part of German high society. And, yet, on that night, they learned it all meant nothing. On Kristallnacht, they finally realized that, in fact, they were not the equals in society they’d believed for centuries that they were. Weekend Box Office: Thor: The Dark World, Diana (a/k/a “I Like Muslim Penis”)

By Debbie Schlussel

Nothing to really recommend that’s new at the movies, this weekend.

thordarkworlddiana

* “Thor: The Dark World“: I like a good superhero movie. This ain’t it. I didn’t especially like the first “Thor” movie (read my review). This one was far worse. Long, boring, dull, and confusing. The story/plot of this movie looks like someone phoned it in. It’s silly and hard to follow. This movie has so much action and so many special effects, and yet I struggled to stay awake because, at the same time, it was so slow.

Natalie Portman is bummed out that Thor, the love of her life, disappeared from Earth without saying good-bye, two years ago. But he returns because Earth and the other realms over which he has power are in danger from some group called the “Dark Elves.” It’s strange because they are pale white and not elfin or height-challenged in the least. Thor must partner with his evil brother, Loki, to fight off the Dark Elves (headed by some dude named Malekith), in defiance of his king father’s efforts. And, eventually, the day is saved. There is a lot of confusing scientific mumbo-jumbo and jargon and other silly stuff that seems to serve as filler. Also, there’s some running debate as to whether Loki is still a bad guy or now a good guy. Who cares? Read the rest of this entry »

Nermin Spahic: Iowa Muslim Imam Says Criminal Sex Charges Violate His “Religious Freedom” – Islamic Modesty Case #4,593,322

By Debbie Schlussel

Time for another edition of “Your Day in Islamic Modesty.”

You know how Muslims, Islamo-pandering politicians, and idiots like Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby are always lecturing us on “Islamic modesty” (and how their alleged claim to modesty is supreme to that of all other religions)? Well, here’s case # 4,593,322 of “Islamic Modesty”. Oh, and it’s also case #26,344,781 of “Awesome Naturalized Immigrants & Supermodels for Amnesty.”

Nermin Spahic: Muslim Imam is Latest Supermodel for “Islamic Modesty” & “Religious Freedom”

An attorney for a Des Moines Islamic leader charged with sexual abuse and exploitation has asked a judge to drop two of the charges, arguing that they violate the man’s religious freedom. . . . Nermin Spahic, 40, . . . faces one count of third-degree sexual abuse and two counts of sexual exploitation by a counselor or therapist. He was arrested in August after a 42-year-old woman and her 18-year-old daughter told police that Spahic sexually assaulted them during a religious ceremony. Read the rest of this entry »

Animal Rights Anti-Horsemeat Coalition Wins Again: Jihad Against Eating Horse

By Debbie Schlussel

The jihad against horse meat continues with the same fervor as the Muslim jihad against pigs and Mohammed cartoons. And now it’s clogging our federal courts for no legitimate reason.

horsemeat

I like and have ridden horses. I don’t eat horse meat and never would even if I could because it isn’t kosher and the idea is absolutely disgusting and stomach-turning to me. But there is absolutely no reason whatsoever why Americans should be barred from slaughtering horses for the purpose of consumption, just because the idea of it repels me and others. There are no sacred cows. And there aren’t any sacred horses, either. And, by the way, I’ve owned horsehair boots and belts. And I don’t think twice about it. Animals–all of them–were made to serve man. Anyone who believes otherwise is an animal rights crazy. It’s one thing to torture animals. I’m against that as any decent human is. It’s entirely another to slaughter them for food.

I’ve written about this before. But, now, the fight against horse meat is front and center in federal court in New Mexico. Last week, Federal Judge Christina Armijo threw out a lawsuit filed by the Humane Society to halt inspection of horses for slaughter. The suit was an attempt to block the slaughter of horses for meat and consumption purposes. But, this week, the Humane Society got a Federal Appeals Court to issue a restraining order, preventing plants in Missouri and New Mexico from proceeding with the inspections and slaughter. Marvel Comics Adds Muslim Chick Superhero (to Appease Marvel’s Muslim Chick Editor)

By Debbie Schlussel

No word on how many IEDs she’ll be carrying or how many Jews she’ll kill while saving Muslims from accidentally living near a pig farm or a swimming pool that features both sexes swimming at the same time. No word on how many gay Arafats she’ll pretend to sleep with either. How many Fort Hoods she’ll shoot up or bras she’ll rig with explosives to blow up planes. But Marvel is pimping you on a Muslim superhero. Oh, and since they couldn’t come up with anything new, she hijacks Captain Marvel’s uniform the way the 19 men hijacked planes on 9/11. As-Shazaam aleikum? No thanks.

kamalakhan

Marvel’s Bait-and-Switch Muslima Superjihadista

By the way, note that this superheroine Muslima does not wear a hijab and is in a minidress. That’s how they bait and switch you on Islam. Just ask Betty Mahmoody. allahu FUBAR:

In February, as part of a continuing effort to diversify its offerings, Marvel Comics will begin a series whose lead character, Kamala Khan, is a teenage Muslim girl living in Jersey City. . . . Her genesis began . . . in a conversation between Sana Amanat and Steve Wacker, two editors at Marvel. “I was telling him some crazy anecdote about my childhood, growing up as a Muslim-American,” Ms. Amanat said. “He found it hilarious.” Ms. Amanat and Mr. Wacker noted the dearth of female superhero series and, even more so, of comics with cultural specificity.

When they told G. Willow Wilson, an author, comic book writer and convert to Islam, about their idea, she was eager to come on board as the series’ writer. “Any time you do something like this, it is a bit of a risk,” Ms. Wilson said. “You’re trying to bring the audience on board and they are used to seeing something else in the pages of a comic book.” Read the rest of this entry »

California Foundation Pays to Pimp ObamaCare on Your Fave TV Show, Movie

By Debbie Schlussel

Will the broadcast of your favorite TV show–or the digital projection of that movie you want to see–malfunction as badly as the ObamaCare website? Nope, but TV shows and movies will pimp the “wonders” of ObamaCare, thanks to a California foundation.

hollywoodobamagloves

Bend Over for the ObamaCare Pimps

The California Endowment, a private foundation that is spending millions to promote President Barack Obama’s signature law, recently provided a $500,000 grant to ensure TV writers and producers have information about the Affordable Care Act that can be stitched into plot lines watched by millions. The aim is to produce compelling prime-time narratives that encourage Americans to enroll, especially the young and healthy, Hispanics and other key demographic groups needed to make the overhaul a success. eBay Did What?!: The “Outrage” of PC Dummies

By Debbie Schlussel

eBay’s move to pull Holocaust paraphernalia from its site is so typical. Yet another bad move that comes as a result of the unfounded outrage of politically correct dummies.

holocaustitemsjudestar

ebay

These USED TO BE for Sale on eBay. Now, You Have to Go to iCollector.com

We’ve had several such stupid moves in our PC world: Congressmen, Senators, and the Obama Administration responding to the shrieks over leaks by traitor Edward Snowden, for instance (and jeopardizing our intelligence operations and national security in the process). And remember the post-9/11 Pentagon idea for a “futures market” in which experts would bet on and try to predict terrorist attacks on America and upheaval in the Middle East? That was scrapped after it came to light in 2003 because of unfounded hysterical reaction from U.S. Senators. It would have been a helpful scientific model to predict danger to Americans and try to avoid it. But loud idiots really control the dynamics of what Western institutions do. The voice of common sense is like a dog whistle. Humans don’t seem to hear it.

And so it goes with eBay, which responded to “outrage”–outrage!–from media outlets and paid Holocaust careerists by pulling items from Nazi death camps, including arm bands, stars, and striped pajamas Jews were forced to wear. Several days ago, a Jewish friend sent me an article from the Daily Mail attacking “eBay’s sick trade in Holocaust souvenirs.” My friend was disgusted with eBay. But I responded that I have no problem with these sales and noted that I, myself, have purchased such items because it is important to show the world what happened, and not sweep it under the rug. The friend did not respond.

Unfortunately, eBay did respond. Read the rest of this entry »

Saudi King Abdullah “Treasures” Hitler’s Dagger; Given by Fuhrer as Token of Jew-Killing

By Debbie Schlussel

Obama bowed down to him. Bush smooched him and held his hands multiple times, like they were lovers at a Frankie Goes to Hollywood concert. And, yet, he prefers Hitler’s dagger to both of ’em.

bushkissesabdullahobamabowkingabdullah

kingabdulllahhitler2

It’s a trite saying that you can tell a lot about a person by the company he keeps. But you can apparently tell even more about a person by the trinkets he treasures. And so it goes with Saudi King Abdullah, who “treasures” a dagger Hitler gave a visiting Saudi delegation in 1939. The delegation met with Hitler to obtain more arms so Arabs could kill more Jews in the Middle East and help carry out the Final Solution. As we know, Hajj Amin El-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (and Yasser Arafat’s uncle), also met with Hitler for the same purpose: to urge him to hasten the Final Solution of the Jews and to extend it to the Jews of the Middle East.

Muslims are the new Nazis, but they are also the same old Nazis. And, yes, this is the same King Abdullah for whom George W. Bush removed women from the air traffic control tower and tarmac at the Waco airport. Yup, same guy that Barack Obama bowed down to. They kissed the ass that kisses Hitler’s dagger.

Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah keeps, “treasures” and sometimes shows off a dagger given by Adolf Hitler himself to a visiting Saudi delegation in 1939. This tidbit is contained in “The U.S.-Saudi Royal Rumble”, an article by Washington Institute expert Simon Henderson published on Sunday in Foreign Policy on the current tensions between the two countries.

“However, King Abdullah still treasures a dagger given as a gift from the Fuhrer himself, and occasionally shows it off to guests. Visiting U.S. officials are briefed in advance so they can display appropriate diplomatic sang-froid if Abdullah points out the memento,” Henderson writes. Read the rest of this entry »

How Many of These Fabulous Immigrants Came to America? Muslims w/ Fake Tix, No Visas on Flight to Toronto

By Debbie Schlussel

How many of these Afghan and Iranian Muslim “immigrants” made their way into the U.S.? These are the ones they caught trying to fly to Toronto. You can bet many like them made it in via the same route and completely escaping scrutiny. And, since we know there are plenty like them here, how the heck do you expect Homeland Security to verify who they really are, once the amnesty process begins?

islamiccrescent.jpgmuslimgivingthefinger.jpg

If it weren’t for this observant pilot, these Iranians and Afghans would have arrived in Canada undetected, and you can bet that there are plenty of pilots who aren’t that observant flying into the U.S.

A Toronto-bound flight was stopped shortly before departure from Caracas when four Iranians and an Afghan were found aboard with fake tickets and no visas, Venezuelan officials said Saturday. The captain of Air Canada Flight 075 discovered there were five extra passengers aboard his flight as it was scheduled to depart late Friday, said Luis Graterol, the head of the Simon Bolivar Maiquetia International Airport.
