Japanese Michelle & Barack Give Us Their Version of Obama Speech to Nation

By Debbie Schlussel
Like a Saturday Night Live skit, this is funny for like the first minute and 15 seconds. Is it just me or does the Japanese Mrs. Obama look like Michael Jackson? Some people are saying this is racist because the Japanese Barack is in blackface. I post, you decide.

LOL, the Japanese get it.

Is the person portraying Michelle Obama a man or a woman? I noticed this person keeps her (or his) hands crossed covering her (or his) genitals. I didn’t recognize this as a typical Michelle Obama posture. It made me wonder if it was to hide the evidence of being a man.
[P: IT’S DEFINITELY A MAN. DS]

The Japanese do indeed, get it. They still have the capacity to laugh at themselves, therefore, this would never be perceived as racist in their country. They would be equally comfortable laughing at a black comedian impersonating one of their celebrities. 50 years of liberal guilt pushed upon our nation through the schools and the media, has made us incapable of laughing at anything that isn’t scatological.

Some of the jokes are funnier if you know Japanese. When he introduces the bag and shows that there’s nothing in it, he says, “See? This is just an ordinary bag with nothing in it that you use to do magic tricks.” It’s the line that goes over really well with the audience. Made me laugh, too.
I’ve seen way worse stuff than this on Japanese TV. I’m not sure why anyone would think a guy dressed up as Obama is racist. They’re not even mocking him or anything.
