NBC’s Saudi Concubine to Become New “Today” Host?

Showbiz insider website TMZ.com reports that if NBC “Today” hostess leaves the show, Campbell Brown is the leading candidate to become new host of the “Today Show.”
If that’s the case, it’s cause for concern. As we , just as , Brown “dated” (euphemism?) slimy Saudi spokesman and Islamist apologist Adel Al-Jubeir. Reportedly, she even jaunted to Saudi Arabia with him. And, like Jennings, her “dating” situation clouded her reporting.
NBC’s Saudi Concubine?:
At the time, she was an NBC White House correspondent and covered then-Crown Prince (now King) Abdullah’s trip to the Bush Ranch in Crawford, Texas. Not a peep out of her regarding the Saudi’s request that women be kept off the tarmac and out of the air traffic control tower at the Waco, Texas airport. Instead it was all glowing coverage from brown-nosing Brown. Wouldn’t want to disappoint that fat-walleted Saudi boyfriend, now would she?
If NBC News officials had any interest in real journalism, they would have noted this glaring conflict of interest and pulled her off the Saudi visit coverage, but no way, Jose. Who needs concubines and harems, when you’ve got NBC doing the job.

Debbie, you may want to do a little more fact checking. I believe Ms. Brown is engaged to Dan Senor who was a senior advisor to Amb. Bremmer. He has been a strong supporter of Israel and the American mission in Iraq.
If she is that pursuaded by her “significant other” whoever it may be, then perhaps she will have a “slant” or “leaning” that may indeed be more favorable than as you set forth in this posting.
As this is my first comment to a posting, I hope that approval will be forthcoming.
“FACT-CHECKING”? HELLO? . . . YOU’VE NOT POINTED TO A SINGLE MISSTATEMENT. THAT CAMPBELL BROWN IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY RECEPTACLE DOESN’T CHANGE A THING OR NEGATE ANYTHING IN THIS POST.
SO, WHAT? THEIR ENGAGEMENT JUST CONFIRMS WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT DAN SENOR MORE THAN IT TELLS US ANYTHING RESPECTABLE ABOUT CAMPBELL BROWN, WHO IS JUST AS PRO-ISLAMIST AND CLUELESS AS EVER. WHY, SHE EVEN DID A FRIENDLY INTERVIEW WITH A NOW-DEAD (THANKFULLY, THE ISRAELIS BLEW HIM UP) LEADER OF HAMAS (ABDUL AZIZ RANTISI), NOT TOO LONG AGO, AND BRAGGED ABOUT IT IN A WOMEN’S MAGAZINE.
WE’RE NOT WORRIED THAT DAN’S “PILLOW TALK” WILL CHANGE HER. SOME OF US WHO’VE HAD THE “PLEASURE” OF DEALING WITH HIM DISLIKE BOTH HIS FACES. IF HE IS SO PRO-ISRAEL, WHY DID HE CONTINUALLY FLACK FOR PRO-CAIR/PRO-ISLAMIST WATERBOY, THEN-SENATOR SPENCER ABRAHAM? HE CONTINUED TO SHILL FOR SPENCE EVEN WHEN HE WAS NO LONGER WORKING FOR HIM AND SPENCE WAS GIVING MILLIONS OF OUR TAX MONEY IN USAID TO HEZBOLLAH IN SOUTHERN LEBANON. YEAH. . . THAT HELPED ISRAEL. RI-I-I-IGHT. AND WHY DID DANNY BOY WORK FOR THE CARLYLE GROUP? NOT EXACTLY A TRACK RECORD OF WHAT HE OR YOU CLAIM ABOUT HIM.
BASED ON OUR OWN EXPERIENCE–AND THE FACTS YOU SO CRAVE, BUT DON’T SEEM TO GRASP–WE KNOW DAN IS PRO-ONLY ONE THING, HIMSELF. LOOKS LIKE YOU NEED TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR ON THE “FACT-CHECKING” ASSERTION.
