Super Bowl Odds & Ends: Snooper Bowl Disgrace; Funding Cuban Despotism

By
* Snoop Dogg
If I had it my way, I’d stay far away from this week’s Super Bowl festivities in Detroit. I hate crowds and congestion, and for the first–and last–time in 40 years, there are both in the nation’s poor, crime-ridden city headed by the Pimp-Daddy Mayor.
But, alas, I had to meet friends in town to cover the game, and then to see my friends at FOX Sports Net’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period” (a show on which I’ve appeared), to which I took my little brother and his friend.

Great Kids Role Model: Official Commissioner of the Snooper Bowl

There, we saw the man I consider among the most repugnant in “entertainment” today, Calvin Broadus a/k/a “Snoop Dogg”. He is in town because he is overseeing Saturday’s “Snooper Bowl”, the football championship for kids in the Snoop Youth Football League that he founded and heads.
The sad thing is that Snoopball is on its way to replacing Pop Warner football for kids in inner cities. How nice: Your young boys playing for the former drug dealing Crip and Girls Gone Wild and “Snoop Dogg’s Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp” host. (Not to mention, .) Shame on the Detroit Police for allowing its Athletic League to participating in “Snooper Bowl” festivities.
Even sadder: We watched how the crowd of football fans in town for the Big Game all worshipped this unworthy thug with the fanaticism reserved for a real hero, which he certainly isn’t.
When the cold-eyed Snoop Dogg walked by us with his posse of many large thugs, look-alike Crip-types, and assorted unattractive harlots, it reeked like a giant bomb of his signature cologne–Eau de Cannabis–had been dropped on the venue. Blechhhh!
* Cuban Cigars
There are a lot of reports that Super Bowl visitors to Detroit will also go over the border to Canada to partake in, among other things, fully-nude strip bars (known here as “the Windsor Ballet”) and Cuban cigars.
Just a reminder: If you buy Cuban cigars, you are helping to support Communist tyranny, persecution, and brutal repression. Besides it’s still illegal, under American law, to buy Cuban products abroad–and/or to smoke them.
Don’t do it.

Debbie, it was our tradition that on super sunday mom would take every kid around to Disnyland and being the neighborhood school teacher all the parents loved it someone to watch the kids..it was dead there(no lines)that was many moons ago. When you could run around with no adults. It was safe.No rap stars or muslin bombers.

Reminder: In addition to Cuban cigars, if you buy anything from Wal-Mart you are also helping to support Communist tyranny, persecution and brutal repression. That’s because Wal-Mart buys the vast majority of their manufactured goods from Communist China.
So therefore, as I have always said…Cuban cigars and Wal-Mart are evil.

Technically it’s not the first Super Bowl in the Detroit area, although XVI way back in 1982 was a million miles away in suburban Pontiac (I always thought the excuse that a cold-weather city could host the Bowl if it had a domed stadium was kind of lame, I mean what if there’s a 2 ft. blizzard outside and no one can get to the game :-))
I didn’t realize that Mr. Snoop Dogg has hijacked and thugged Pop Warner League. What a crime! Thanks for pointing that out, now I have reason to hate him even more.

First of all, you cannot buy Cuban cigars in this country legally. Even if you could they are not nearly as good as the pre-Castro cuban cigars. You see, most of the cigar makers that made those cigars great fled the country.
There are cigars made from tobacco grown from Cuban seed that are sold here legally, but cigars made in Cuba are not.
Personally, I would laugh quite heartily if Snoop were buying counterfeits that were really Philly Blunts with a fake Cohiba band on them.
READ MORE CLOSELY. NEVER WROTE THAT THE CIGARS ARE HERE IN DETROIT. THEY ARE SOLD–LEGALLY–IN CANADA. WINDSOR, CANADA IS JUST OVER THE BORDER. THAT’S WHAT I WROTE ABOUT. YOU MISSED IT.

Jrob, but they sure taste good. Anyways, Snoop is a has-been, if the locals want Snoop as coach, fine, let him be coach, but to see him in the Inland Empire, teaching football, from gangsta rap king, that is so funny. Oh, next time anyone sees Snoop? Yell out: (Boy (emphasis on boy), I could go for some crabs (emphasis on crab), because, if he is a crip, he would go nuts. Crab is a derogatory word for crips.

I work downtown everyday in the Compuware building. Let’s not forget that there’s a lot of hard-working people trying to make Detroit a better place to work and live.

It’s a pretty bad sign when Americans have to go to Canada to see women dance. Don’t women have a right to choose (to be naked)?

king of all japs.as you like to be called:although you do your best to turn a blind eye. Snoop is getting larger by the day. He and the likes of him are in every form of the media.Movie, song, radio+ print.Far from a has-been.

They don’t have to be in Detroit. Even if you buy them in Canada, the purchase of Cuban cigars with US currency, or even US currency converted to the coin of the realm, is a violation of US law and subject to sanctions of said law. Does not matter if it is Canada, UK or France.
That said, you are still right, the purchase of them supports the Castro dictatorship. For that reason if ever offered one, even as a gift, I would refuse it, and not politely either.
NO OFFENSE, BUT YOU DID NOT READ MY POST CAREFULLY. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WROTE. TO WIT: “Besides it’s still illegal, under American law, to buy Cuban products abroad–and/or to smoke them.”

“Just a reminder: If you buy Cuban cigars, you are helping to support Communist tyranny, persecution, and brutal repression.”
Well, cigars in Cuba are very cheap. The people making the real money are the middlemen, not the Cubans themselves.
By the way considering that most of what American consumers is currently made in China (not exactly a stronghold of human rights and democracy) and considering that most of the oil that your Hummers spend comes from the Middle East (ditto, and the extra that unlike the impotent Cuban commies, the crazy mullahs actually want us dead), I can’t see how that argument of yours can hold.
The truth is that the embargo is a Cold War left-over that – in the 21st century – is completely out of touch with reality. Yes, Castro is a bitch (and a boring one at that!), but is he really worth all the trouble? I think not. Changing the American stance versus Cuba would royally piss off the anti-Castro Cuban community living in Florida (which means loss of votes), and so this hypocrisy lives on.
Chavez and Evo Moralez are as annoying and as radical as Castro. Bolivia doesn’t have anything worth selling, but why not a blockade on Venezuela? Because Chavez supplies 25% of all your oil imports. Hypocrisy. If you really like to smoke, smoke Cuban. Dominican tobacco isn’t half as good, and life’s too short to be bent to someone’s idiocy.

1) The anti-Castro Cuban community is by and large the most loyal, patriotic immigrant community there is (next to Romanians of course). They have been underappreciated by the government, while other groups have been overcompensated.
2) Dominican cigars are nearly as good, they just don’t that Commie outlaw chic.
3) Am I the only one who’s sick of these stupid Che Guevera T-shirts all over the place? I should start making Pinochet shirts and sell them to other anti-Communists.

If this is your drug of choice, you can expect a life where
you are trapped in the stress zone. Sprinkle
the top with the crushed peppermint candy. While the bananas are caramelizing, desperate the bwatch, spwatch
with the butter, and spatter with the bark and nutmeg.
