I usually refrain from calling someone ugly simply because of their facial features. However, whoopi “goldberg” is an exception.

Not only is she physically ugly, no, make that butt ugly, she looks like she stinks, you can just about smell her through the television screen.

She isn’t funny, she never has been. Her physical ugliness is second only to her personality.

Did I forget to mention she is also incredibly stupid?

Here’s what’s pissing me off on this.

Let’s set aside our opinions on groups like NOW, or people like Oprah Winfrey. NOW and Winfrey have historically sided against rapists and pedophiles, yet they’ve said pitifully little (if anything) on this. Are we to believe that Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen, and the rest of the leadership of the entertainment industry have cowed these folks into silence.

Whoopi, what the hell….??? You definitely deserve a “NEGRO, PLEASE!” award from me and other Black folks for that tired explanation. She was a 13 year-old child and he was a grown-ass man. Who the hell cares what kind of rape it was? No matter what you call it, he was one sick and perverted individual if he gave drugs to and had sex with a 13 year-old girl…not a “young lady”, but a young 13 year-old girl. If you do something like that, you need to go to jail, plain and simple.

Whoopi, there is no defense for what Mr. Polanski did, so you need to slow your roll and go sit down somewhere and be quiet.

Whoopi should do just the tiniest bit of research into this incident. First of all, at the time this happened, California’s age of consent was 16 and the girl was 13, obviously statutory rape. Second, to make it worse, even though the girl’s mental faculties were impaired by the ludes and booze this pervert gave her, she still managed to tell him “NO” when he tried to rape her. How else can it be described as anything other than rape?

Somebody should give Whoopi a whole can of Whoop-Ass. It seems she has already been hit over the head with a Dumb-Ass stick. What will Whoopi say next? That Polanski was just giving this girl acting lessons.

Whoopi Goldberg is a failed comic, actress, and television personality. Also, she seems to have the intelligence of a warm glass of water. If Whoopi had had a whit of sense, she would have left the Polanski matter alone. Polanski skipped his sentencing and paid off the victim in an undisclosed financial settlement. There is no question of Polanski’s innocence here. He was and is a child molester with the means and influence to avoid justice. The celebrities and other vermin who support Mr. Polanski really need to take a good look at themselves and ask if raping a child is no big deal.

I read the grand jury report from 1977 including testimony from the 13-year old victim. It is very graphic and it most certainly IS rape, in every sense of the legal definition. In fact, quite a bit of her testimony must be paraphrased for airing. It is that vulgar honestly. The man is a repulsive pig, and I hope DA Steve Cooley doesn’t buckle under the pressure. Had he done this to my daughter, he would wake up one morning missing some very important body parts.

Debbie, you either hear what you want to hear, don’t listen properly or have a pre-existing bias (probably based on your objection to her name), which considering the fact Woopi is part of an elite group in history to win an Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy award, should warrant respect. Goldberg gave her a chance in “Promised Land 2” (aka Hollywood).

Anyway, back to the issue. She was protecting the show against legal action. Woopi knew the women would call it “rape”, and as he was never charged with THAT crime, his lawyer could sue. In actuality, he was convicted of “sex with a minor”, (which sounds the same, but isn’t). Thanks for Woopi, Joy ended up calling it what it is..”statutory rape”. Ms GOLDBERG knows that shows have been sued for less. She is smarter than people like to realize. Awards are not accidents.

What Whoopi said was that Roman Polanski wasn’t charged with ‘rape rape’, but some lesser charge. And her point was exactly what everyone here seems to have missed – when you are discussing this issue, you have to distinguish between what he was charged with and what he actually did.
