As long as top public officials in the West–including America and the UK–continue to look the other way on the immigration status of those they hire, we will never even begin to lick the illegal alien invasion.  Their “do as I say, not as I do,” “only the little people obey immigration laws” attitude is a big part of the problem.

Brit Attorney Gen Patricia Scotland Employs Illegal Alien

The latest example of this is British Attorney General Patricia Scotland.  You’d think that with Muslims quickly taking over the UK via immigration and then birthrates, she’d think twice about employing an illegal alien.  That’s not to mention the fact that she’s supposed to be the top official enforcing the law, not violating it.

But you would be wrong.

Immigration officials launched an investigation today into revelations that the Attorney General, Baroness Scotland, employed an illegal migrant.

The Government’s top law officer sacked her housekeeper, Loloahi Tapui, yesterday after it emerged that the 27-year-old Tongan was in the UK illegally.

Lady Scotland, who has denied knowing Tapui did not have the right to work here, faces a civil penalty of up to £10,000 if found guilty. . .  ..

The Daily Mail revealed this morning how Lady Scotland has paid Loloahi Tapui, 27, to look after her large family home in West London for the past six months.

Miss Tapui has been living in Britain illegally for five years after overstaying a student visa. She is still using her National Insurance number from her time as a student.

Lady Scotland could theoretically be prosecuted under laws that she is paid to enforce.

Even unknowingly employing an illegal is still an offence, punishable by a £10,000 fine, under legislation that she helped steer through Parliament as a Home Office minister in 2006.

The revelations are a major embarrassment to Lady Scotland, who attends the Cabinet as the Government’s most senior law officer and is responsible for all court litigation. . . .

The fact that Britain’s top law officer could be so easily hoodwinked highlights the lax controls that critics claim are a feature of Labour’s immigration policy.

The revelations are a grave personal embarrassment for Caribbean-born Lady Scotland  –  the first-ever female Attorney General  –  and could lead to calls for her to resign.

Remember all of Bill Clinton’s (and Bush’s) nominees who had to resign because they employed illegal alien nannies and housekeepers?

Lady Scotland should resign, but she’s Black.  And, sadly, throughout the West, minorities get away with that which non-minorities never would.

Average Brits must obey the immigration laws, but not, apparently, the top woman charged with enforcing them.

Oh, and by the way, this illegal alien was using Britain’s NHS to take care of her healthcare needs:

Questioned about how she was able to work and pay tax, she said she still used the National Insurance number from her student days.

Keep that in mind whenever Barack Obama and the ObamaCare advocates tell you illegal aliens won’t be involved in an American national healthcare program. If it happens there, there’s nothing unique about us that would prevent it from being rampant here. In fact, in many ways, we are just a couple of decades or less behind Britain in all the nasty characteristics of socialism and Islamic immigration.
