Schlussel 1 for 1 on US Olympic Hockey Team: No Roenick

By Debbie Schlussel
Last night, the 2006 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team was announced.
Yesterday, that Chris Chelios and Jeremy Roenick would be denied. And, at least, we prevailed on one count: Roenick was denied, and is now whining that he’s been “blackballed.” So what? He deserves to be blackballed, given .
Unfortunately, bloviating blowhard Chris Chelios was not blackballed and did, in fact, make the roster. Fortunately, at age 43, it’s his last time. After that, we say: Good Riddance to this bully in skates.

Debbie, in the interest of any future open and honest relationship we might have, I think I should point out that Schlussel was 1 for 2 on this hockey thing. Free Darko M.
