Our friend, Johnnie Scoutten of Operation Thank You, is doing wonderful work sending packages to troops, and you can help.
Operation Thank You is dedicated to supporting our troops in the war zones. It’s a project of “Shooting USA,” a national television show on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) and the Armed Forces Network, but is strictly set up to connect the troops with those that wish to show their support.
Says Johnnie:

Our mission is to select the unit, fine-tune the details and supply the contact information each month so cards, letters and packages can find their way each month to our soldiers.

Please go to this site and see how you can help send packages to the troops. It’s a great Christmas or Chanukah Thank You (my cousin, who is Jewish, recently finished his tour of duty serving in Iraq) even if the package arrives after the Holidays. We’re sure it will be appreciated.
