From Islamopologist to Japanderer-in-Chief: Obama in Hiroshima on Memorial Weekend

Konnichi Wa: Japanderer-In-Chief Barack Obama Hugs Hiroshima Survivor

Has Barack Obama ever hugged a survivor of Pearl Harbor or the Bataan Death March? Nope. But, today, he hugged a “survivor” of the bombing of Hiroshima.

In less than eight years Obama has gone from Islamopologist to Japanderer-in-Chief. And it’s nauseating as hell.

As we all know, timing is everything. And it’s no coincidence that Obama picked this week to go to Vietnam, where the Vietcong embraced Marxist slavery and tortured our troops. It’s no coincidence that he picked this week to announce he will lift the arms embargo America has long maintained regarding Vietnam. It’s no coincidence that Barack Obama picked today, the Friday that commences Memorial Day Weekend to visit Hiroshima. And it’s no coincidence that he picked today to do the loud pantomime of apologism to the Japanese for doing what we needed to do to save lives and end World War II–the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It’s no coincidence that Obama picked today to lay a wreath at a memorial for those who died in the bombing and to hug a “survivor.”

Again, timing is everything. And Barack Obama didn’t pick this week, and these days just prior to Memorial Day to do these things. This scheduling, these deeds that Obama perpetrated are very deliberate. They are in your face. And they are the equivalent of spitting in the eyes of the ghosts of our brave men who fought and died in World War II and in Vietnam. That’s why Obama picked the last Memorial Day Weekend of his sad and sorry presidency on which to do this. He has no shame, but he waited until the waning days of the eight-year-disaster he’s perpetrating on America to do this.

From the beginning of his Presidency, Barack Obama apologized ad nauseam and ad infinitum to Muslims who hate us. Muslims who want to kill us and have killed us (his first major speech was Islamopologism to extremist Al-Azhar University in Cairo, a speech that the pan-Muslim Hot Air moron Ed Morrissey described as “surprisingly good”). And he’s still doing it. Now, he’s doing the same with the Japanese.

We have absolutely no reason to apologize to the Japanese. As I’ve stated repeatedly over the years, we saved the world by bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The day in the late ’80s when I met the late Dr. Edward Teller (Of Blessed Memory), the Hungarian-born Jewish-American “father of the atomic bomb,” was one of the greatest days of my life. He was a hero for helping to create the means to bomb Hiroshima. The bombings helped end World War II, and they saved millions of lives, not just of Americans, but of many others in Europe and elsewhere. American soldiers were tortured alive and forced to face painful, slow deaths by the Japanese at Palawan, in the Bataan Death March, and in prisoner camps in places like the Philippines. The perpetrators who did this to our military men were the ancestors and relatives of the people to whom Barack Obama shamefully apologized today. If it weren’t for the nuclear weapons we developed and used then, most of you reading this would be saluting the descendants of Hirohito today.

America isn’t the reason Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed and thousands of Japanese died. The Japanese, Emperor Hirohito, and his military were the reason. We didn’t ask to be in World War II. The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and dragged America, kicking and screaming in resistance, into it. We didn’t ask for kamikaze pilots and the torture of American soldiers whose only crime was being American. The Japanese did this. We didn’t ask for any of this. The Japanese chose this and supported what their leaders wrought. And they reaped the dung that they sowed. That’s how it works.

They don’t deserve a hug for that. They don’t deserve our sympathy for that. They don’t deserve the President of the United States laying a wreath for them. He should be on American soil laying wreaths at the graves of those buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

And it’s disgusting that Obama would use this day to whine about his fantasy of a nuclear-free world, something that will never ever happen. In World War II, nuclear weapons helped save the world. They saved America. They saved millions of lives. Anyone who won’t admit that is a complete ignoramus or intellectually bankrupt and entirely dishonest. It’s because of Obama’s inaction that ISIS may soon get nuclear or chemical weapons, if it doesn’t have them already. But he’s too busy posing for cameras, bowing to Muslims and hugging Japanese. Americans, though, can’t expect any of this sleazy photo-op faux-affection. Thank G-d there are only a few months left of this disgusting schmuck in the White House.

When President Reagan visited the German cemetery at Bitburg–an inappropriate trip orchestrated by his openly Jew-hating adviser Pat Buchanan (who is half-German and wrote a book saying Hitler was “misunderstood”)–there was loud outrage throughout the media. As there should have been. Reagan shouldn’t have gone there, where Nazis were buried. The only good Nazis were (and still are) dead ones. And their graves were something to be celebrated, not memorialized and honored posthumously. At the time, Reagan was the most pro-Israel President in American history (and he still holds that title or should). And I remember my late father lamenting the Bitburg visit, but remarking that Ronald Reagan is a heck of a lot better to live Jews than he is to dead Nazis, and that’s what matters. (You can’t say the same about Obama. He treats all Jew-haters and America-haters the same, whether they are alive or buried six feet under: he just loves ’em.)

When you consider the loud cries of outrage over Reagan’s Bitburg visit, you have to believe the outrage was feigned when compared to the deafening silence of the media today over this sickening display by Barack Obama.

At least Ronald Reagan didn’t hug Eichmann.

But if the late Final Solution mastermind were alive today, I wouldn’t put it past Obama, our America-Hater-in-Chief.

*** UPDATE: Yes, I know that when a reporter asked Obama to specifically apologize for dropping the bomb on Hiroshima, he “declined” to . . . sort of. But not exactly. In fact, he said he wouldn’t apologize because he can’t second guess the decisions leaders make in the haste and fog of war. That’s kind of an apology without an explicit apology. He was basically saying that this was a mistake made in the haste and fog of war. And it was no such thing. The Manhattan Project was a planned, deliberate, long-term program. And dropping the bombs on the Japanese was a smart move that would be sane and absolutely right whether or not it was made in “haste” and the “fog of war.” It saved lives. And was the right thing to do. Barack Obama should have said so and adamantly defended it. Not this lukewarm apologetic “non-apology.”

Regardless, Obama’s presence at Hiroshima, at the memorial for those killed in the bombings, and his hug of the survivor is a tacit apology without a verbal one. No sitting American President has visited Hiroshima until now. And for good reason. The very appearance there is an apology. You don’t see Shinzo Abe visiting Pearl Harbor and its memorial or hugging the few survivors of the bombing there (which was perpetrated by the Japanese unprovoked).

Obama loves Communist dictators, Japanese fascists and Islamic terrorists.

He thinks America is as bad as them so that’s why he went around apologizing to our enemies for the supposed bad things we have done to them in our name.

I was disgusted. And of course, this tells us why America elected this worm of a man twice to be its President.

No, the brave and honored dead who fought for our country don’t deserve the humiliation of America. But we do – because we made Obama our President.

The reproach then, on Memorial Day eve, in some ways, appears entirely fitting.

I can’t wait to see Obama gone soon.

NormanF on May 27, 2016 at 5:06 pm

Wait I’m lost, I thought I just seen where Japan asked him to apologize and refused. He said he would not judge Truman on his decision because presidents are faced with tough decisions. Did I imagine this? I thought he refused to apologize. I’m confused.

MBB: Please read my update. You should neither be lost nor confused. Obama is very careful with what he says. But this whole visit and his lukewarm response to that reporter said it all. DS

MrBigBrain on May 27, 2016 at 5:27 pm

The Left loves every enemy of the US except for Hitler because he was against the Communists, the Left’s mentors. The Left, which now dominates the Democrat party is evil and relentless. Obama and his warped values are representative of the Left in America.

Obama is psychotic. He hates the US and Israel and some of us have known this since before he was president. MANY people know this but choose to keep their heads buried in the sand. He makes want to puke. So disgusting!

Hillel on May 27, 2016 at 5:31 pm

Oh man, columns like this burn my blood. Because it is so obvious and DS really knows how to illustrate it superbly. BDD you are still struggling in the minor leagues if you’re going by the Kabuki Theatre Obama-Putin pantomimes. You are nowhere ready to hang with the big boys. Not even close. PAY. ATTENTION…

You buggery Obama-Putin voters. YOU. DID. THIS. Twice. Two times. You let this freak fundamentally change the USA. I hope you’re proud.

You still with us, BDD? Good, ‘cuz your ass needs to pay rapt attention to this. Like someone I have been dissecting on another level, Obama-Putin has done all his duplicitous America Hating directly in front of us. His tranny-looking wife had to be reigned in during his 1st campaign because the angry bee-otch was too frank when she scolded and screamed Obama-Putin was gonna make fundamental changes and that he would never let us go back. You should have been able to translate that BDD. She meant it and he has done it.

Obama-Putin has gone to Cuba and Vietnam in quick succession. THAT IS NO MISTAKE! Yes, the Kardashian Proles will never get it but this is Obama-Putin showing his true colours, his true allegiance and for his own sick pleasure also taking his finger and shoving it up every America lover’s keister. Hope you’re following along BDD!

Have y’all been paying attention to Obama-Putin’s slow evacuation of Gitmo? Hope you are. He promised he’d do it way back in 2009 and because he couldn’t do it cleanly, he decided to ‘win ugly’. Obama-Putin knows how to win ugly. Thank every Obama-Putin voter you know. Then thank the sorry GOP Senate and Congress for bending over for this sociopathic beast…and just for the fact that he’s half Black. Thank them all. Dangerous Jihadis will be wild and free from Gitmo 100% by this time next year. NO. ACCIDENT.

This is what the Obama-Putin Proles wanted, this is what they got. Obama-Putin was exactly the destroyer we knew he would be and when he couldn’t do it clean, he got cryptically dirty. Trouble is, all the smart ones knew it all along. We were NEVER fooled.

Wake up BDD. You still don’t get it. There is no reason why you shouldn’t…it was never that hidden.

Obama-Putin is a sociopathic, malignant narcissistic, Marxist/Commie America and Jew hater. He always boldly lied and at the same time would cash a REALITY check his REAL bad-ass self wrote out in tandem. He got away with it due to a craven and scrotum-less opposition and because America is filled to the brim with Proles and virtual retards. That’s why we have Trump. He’s not good enough to even get us started thou’.

Thanks Obama-Putin voters. I hope the dopey ones hate the stink worse than I do.

Skunky on May 27, 2016 at 6:23 pm

Aside from Skunky’s personal addresses toward our resident former club manager, that was perhaps the best Skunky comment I’ve ever seen. I’ve been on this web site for pretty close to 3 1/2 years, or “half a seven” as God’s Word refers to it. I’ve also delved pretty deeply in to the archives.

Skunky has a body of work on this web site that is profound, humorous, and possessing wisdom and insight that rise far above the “rank and file” among us. THAT was perhaps the BEST.

I will add this. When Moochelle got ‘demoted’ she still wound up doing a lot of damage. She got relegated to the Hitlary Rotten C_nton role of speech maker, and she did just fine. Traveling the nation speaking to college graduation ceremonies, she has continued The Work Of The Left in grand style.

Interveaving her speech with phrases such as “people who look like you” and “people who look like them,” as well droning on about the “us” and “them” of life in general, she has no doubt deepened the indoctrination of countless others. This has served to carve in stone the epitaph which was delivered when “this once great republic” cast it’s coffin in to the sea on the second Tuesday of November, 2012.

God bless you, Skunky. God bless America. I’m a shaking, quaking, bawling baby, waiting for the death that will rain from the sky, from sea to shining sea, . . .

    in a very short while.

Japanese fascists, Communist dictators, Islamic terrorists – I noticed ‘NormanF’ forgot to mention child molesters, pederasts and pedophiles as another group that Obama panders to and allows to influence policy (I specifically think of his putting a gun to states’ heads to force so-called “transgenders” onto women, girls and little children in bathrooms meant for women – how many times has unindicted child molester Terry Bean who co-founded the so-called “Human Rights Campaign” [which should be called Inhuman Lefts Campaign] been to the White House over the course of Obama’s sorry excuse for a Presidency?), not to mention ethnocentric special-interests and race merchants. I agree his timing has been deliberate in every situation including and especially this one – and that his actions fit the patterns of malicious, sadistic sociopaths.

ConcernedPatriot on May 27, 2016 at 6:36 pm

Obamas acts in Japan could be construed as an apology. His behavior is appalling. My father OBM served in the Manhattan Project under Enrico Fermi. Japan was the aggressor & hundreds of thousands of lives were saved by the decision to use the bombs. Let us celebrate Memorial Day the proper way by honoring those who gave their all for our great country.

PaulaMalka on May 27, 2016 at 6:41 pm

Konichi waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Disgusting and very crafty behavior by The Apologist In Chief.

Debbie, when you say “disgusting schmuck in the White House,” why be so soft on him?

Paula Malka, there may have been more than a million total lives saved, although I’m splitting hairs here.

Debbie didn’t mention in her nonetheless very comprehensive article, that THERE WAS A RACE ON TO BUILD AN ATOMIC BOMB, AND THE USA WON IN A PHOTO FINISH!!!

If we hadn’t dropped the bombs when we did, in the not too distant future, nuclear weapons would have been dropped on U.S.

Believe it.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on May 27, 2016 at 6:58 pm

Also, how many of us Americans would not even be here right now had it not been for the atomic bombs? My grandfather (mother’s father) served in the Pacific during the end of WWII. He and so many others could very well have been killed in a land invasion of Japan.

John M on May 27, 2016 at 8:23 pm

“He was basically saying that this was a mistake made in the haste and fog of war.” Yes, I did catch that, funny, because I thought he was kinda sorta like he wanted to apologize, lol, but he knew he better not do it. Ha ha ha. I thought good for him for maintaining some strength, but that little sneaky disclaimer at the end, sorta made his response flaccid. I do get that

MrBigBrain on May 27, 2016 at 9:32 pm

Couldn’t agree anymore with this OT-writing Debbie, and it’s NO coincidence or a conspiracy that Mr. Obama had decided to travel to certain parts of the world, where the US was involved in previous wars in past generations.

Either Obama “personally” decided to do this on his own of visiting Japan and Vietnam, and/or, his “handlers” whispered to him and explained to him to visit those nations on this particular, insofar that leads into “Memorial Day”?

I’ve argued on some occasions when the topic is about Mr. Obama, that he’s a “pluralist”, on this scenario, he’s a pluralist from a political perspective of visiting Japan and Vietnam and doing apologies on behalf of this nation on why we were involved in such wars and also won them (Vietnam war is still til this day debatable of we won or lost, I think that we won that war, but our media undermined our troops there according to scholarly historicists), etc.!

Sean R. on May 27, 2016 at 10:38 pm

I’m surprised he hasn’t apologized to Germany. He still has 8 months so don’t rule it out yet.

“when a reporter asked Obama to specifically apologize for dropping the bomb on Hiroshima, he “declined” to” DS

Any idea who it was? Probably the first time in a long time a reporter acted as one.

theShadow on May 27, 2016 at 10:49 pm

First of all, the hugging Eichmann comment is foolish. The man Obama hugged was not a mass-murdering war criminal.

Reagan’s Bitburg visit was much worse. The Waffen SS Nazis buried there murdered American POWs in cold blood.

Reagan was the most pro-Israel president? First of all it’s not true, and secondly, even if it was true, it’s not saying a whole lot, considering the arabist policies of every president since 1948.

You seem to forget the Reagan’s hostility toward Israel during the Lebanese civil war/PLO/Israel incursion as well as his open contempt for Prime Minister Begin. Reagan colluded with the arabs behind Begin’s back to shove a so-called peace plan down Israel’s throat.

Let’s also not forget the Reagan administration’s ugly anti-Semitic insinuations of American Jewish divided loyalties and comments about Israel running American foreign policy during the AWACs to Saudi Arabia controversy.

Reagan and that fair-weather phony friend of Israel Jeanne Kirkpatrick stabbed Israel in the back when they joined the rest of the world in condemning Israel for bombing the Iraqi nuclear weapons reactor. For all his faults, Ted Kennedy stood almost alone in his immediate defense of Israel after the bombing as well as his condemnation of Reagan for betraying Israel.

Reagan allowed his openly anti-Israel defense secretary Caspar Weinberger (who Ollie North believed had self-hating Jewish issues) to openly spout anti-Israel garbage for 8 years.

Things didn’t improve until 1984 (election time). However, things got ugly again in 1987 during the Bitburg visit controversy.

Yesterday,I read on Anime News Network (a website that has a lot to do with anime and manga) that said that the creator of a Japanese manga called “Barefoot Gen” that was later made into some anime, movies, and a mini-series on Japanese television. And,at least, the manga’s creator Keiji Nakazawa knew what he was talking about. He was seven years old when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
In the letter,Nakazawa hoped there would be a nuclear-free world. He wrote it in 2009,I believe the article said and wanted to deliver it to him,but he was unable to. He passed away in 2012. There have been other anime and manga that have dealt with the war. One was called “Grave of the Fireflies,”which tells the story of a brother and sister trying to survive the last days of World War II. Another was called “Rail of the Star,”a movie about Japanese civilians fleeing Korea in the same time period.

The problem is that many in Japan don’t really have the desire to learn about the atrocities that happened during that time. There have been some anime and manga that have dealt with this like “The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service” (and believe me,it can get PRETTY gruesome) and some others, but discussing Japanese atrocities in World War II is pretty controversial.
The Hollywood film “Unbroken” was EXTREMELY controversial when it was released in Japan. It’s portrayal of a ruthless Japanese guard wasn’t well-received there. And sadly,President Obama doesn’t seem to realize how it would be received back home. It’ll be seen again as apologizing for America, once again.

What he doesn’t seem to get is that Imperial Japan committed horrific atrocities throughout Asia. Stuff like the Rape of Nanking, the Bataan Death March,”comfort women,”even atrocities that took place in Indonesia, where he’d later live. And,we in America probably aren’t alone in that sentiment. I suspect that many throughout Asia would regard the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as just for what had been done to them throughout the war years.
I don’t know if it’s true or not but many in Asia probably feel that the Americans gave the Japanese a kindness they didn’t really deserve. With the War Crimes trials and other stuff like that,I’m not sure. What I am sure about is that Japan has never really dealt with it’s past in a sincere and honest way. And,unless they do so,many in both America and throughout much of Asia will see Japan as unwilling to deal with it’s World War II behavior openly and honestly.

Ghostwriter on May 28, 2016 at 4:46 am

I think Obama was right not to apologise – even though it was his own Democrat Party in power when the bombs were dropped. The only culprit for the suffering, maiming and fatalities on both sides (both combatants and civilians) were the fascist Japanese regime of that period. It was and is a terrible thing though. Was shocked and very saddened when I visited the museum at Hiroshima a few years’ back – and I’m sure I would have also been as shocked and saddened if I’d got the chance to visit a Japanese POW camp museum or the museum at Nanking, China where the 1937 massacres of innocent civilians by the Imperial Japanese Army took place.

Becky on May 28, 2016 at 5:55 am

The visit to Hiroshima was about as close to giving an apology as Barack Obama could. Laying a wreath on a memorial and hugging a “Survivor” made clear his actual sentiments. Also, as Debbie noted, there was no fog of war. Japan was given an opportunity to surrender up until the Allied meeting at Potsdam in July of 1945. The Japanese government had refused to seriously negotiate with the Allies up to that point. Harry S. Truman made the correct decision in that the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the only alternative to a massive land invasion of Japan. If the Japanese with to blame anyone for the Second World War, they need only look at their former government and Emperor Hirohito. I am sure that the Chinese(correctly in this case)loathe what Barack Obama did in Hiroshima.

Japan was given a final warning before the atomic bombs were dropped.

There was even a three day gap between the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which was ample time for a Japanese response. That the Japanese government declined to give one spoke volumes about their attitude towards their own people and the world at large.

China is now following the Hirohito Road as we speak.

O’s 8 year apology tour is absolutely frustrating, sickening and shameful. Even more degrading was Obama’s snubbing of the Israeli gov’t in March of 2013 when he tried to get the younger, more liberal element in that country to do what the rest of the Middle East was doing–I deem it an attempt at an Israeli Spring–though much to his dismay Mo’Bama found out they’re not the barbarians that his spiritual brethren, the Muslims, are. That’s right, with all the problems our two countries are facing he saw it fitting to let loose his spiel at a university rather than the Knesset. He has a soft spot AND A LOAD OF EXCUSES for terrorists but little sympathy for their victims. I can’t believe there are self-hating Jews who still (or ever) support(ed) him.

Well here follows my take on the circumstances surrounding our Appeaser-In-Chief, for those of you old enough to identify.

Keep in mind…
Friar’s Club = International Stage
Dean Martin Roast = Obama Apology Tour
The Man (or rather Country) of the Hour = Japan
Red Buttons = Me

Why are we honoring Japan (SMART bullies don’t pick on someone bigger than themselves https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu1PjbyfVU4 ) when some of the greatest countries in the world NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!?

The United States, which for some 200 years has maintained it’s status and pride as the world’s melting pot but after the last 8 years has become a population much more interested in smoking it…NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!

Israel, who when moving into his new home some 4,000 years ago was told by his real estate agent, Moishe, “It’s a peaceful neighborhood!”…NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!

England, metaphorically the parents we couldn’t wait to move out from but which, in their own way, still love us and have our backs…NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!

The U.S., whose 240 year transition from merely a dream of freedom in the minds of our forefathers to a force for freedom for all the world’s inhabitants is finally complete with the right to choose your own bathroom (apparently emphasizing the ‘trans’ in transition)…NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!

Although Obama does not directly disclose his true position on the U.S.’s use of atomics bombs against Japan, as Debbie’s article makes clear, he has indirectly given his position.

Obama is undoubtedly in the revisionist camp that argues that Stalin caused Japan to surrender, not the atomic bombs. At its core, this is a leftist version of history, making Stalin the true “victor.” So naturally, such an argument would greatly appeal to Obama, and I have no doubt that this is what he actually believes (or wants to believe), if he were questioned while being administered Sodium Pentothal (thiopental).

But the speech of Emperor Hirohito demonstrates otherwise:

——————-

“To our good and loyal subjects:

“After pondering deeply the general trends of the world and the actual conditions obtaining in our empire today, we have decided to effect a settlement of the present situation by resorting to an extraordinary measure.

“We have ordered our Government to communicate to the Governments of the United States, Great Britain, China and the Soviet Union that our empire accepts the provisions of their joint declaration.

“To strive for the common prosperity and happiness of all nations as well as the security and well-being of our subjects is the solemn obligation which has been handed down by our imperial ancestors and which we lay close to the heart.

“Indeed, we declared war on America and Britain out of our sincere desire to insure Japan’s self-preservation and the stabilization of East Asia, it being far from our thought either to infringe upon the sovereignty of other nations or to embark upon territorial aggrandizement.

“But now the war has lasted for nearly four years. Despite the best that has been done by everyone–the gallant fighting of our military and naval forces, the diligence and assiduity of out servants of the State and the devoted service of our 100,000,000 people–the war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan’s advantage, while the general trends of the world have all turned against her interest.

“Moreover, the enemy has begun to employ a new and most cruel bomb, the power of which to do damage is, indeed, incalculable, taking the toll of many innocent lives. Should we continue to fight, it would not only result in an ultimate collapse and obliteration of the Japanese nation, but also it would lead to the total extinction of human civilization.

“Such being the case, how are we to save the millions of our subjects, nor to atone ourselves before the hallowed spirits of our imperial ancestors? This is the reason why we have ordered the acceptance of the provisions of the joint declaration of the powers.”

. . .

Furthermore, as Alfredo as pointed out, Germany had already been working on the development of its own atomic bomb. If the Germans had succeeded while the U.S. stood idly by, well, you know the rest.
