National Religion Study Shows WHAT?! About Islam: Scary & Ominous

By Debbie Schlussel

islamiccrescent.jpgdanger

Pew Research Center’s Religious Landscape Study shows some scary stuff about Islam, but none of the media is telling you about it . . . except me. And it’s scary. It shows what the Bush-Obama post-9/11 immigration reward to Muslims has done to America’s landscape. Again, it’s frightening, but nothing I haven’t been warning you about for decades. Here’s the info you need to know that you won’t read anywhere else:

You’ve probably seen today’s news stories about the decline in religion in America, as indicated by Pew Research Center’s survey of 35,000 Americans. Every major media outlet, from Reuters to the Wall Street Journal, is reporting that the number of areligious or non-religious Americans–whom it defines as those who do not believe in G-d, do not pray or attend religious ceremonies, and so on–is growing. But here’s what the survey also found . . .that isn’t being reported by the media: that while Christianity–and almost every other religion is declining in America in percentage of followers–only two religions are growing, and one of them–Islam–has more than doubled in just seven years. That’s from 2007-2014. (The other growing religion is Hinduism, which nearly doubled. Judaism grew, but its percentage change was negligible according to Pew–.2.) This is a trend that began before 2007, though, as Muslims immigrated here before then and gave birth to a lot of kids. That’s how it more than doubled.

pewreligiongrowth

The numbers on Muslims were first released back in May, but they come from the same religion study whose “religiosity” numbers were released yesterday. And in those numbers, Muslims’ belief in their religion declined only ever-so-slightly. The only religious followers who were more religious, according to the survey, are Evangelical and Black Christians. While the percentage of Americans who believe in G-d has fallen to only 63% and the number of members of all religions who do not believe in G-d has risen significantly, only one religion has few atheists among its followers: Islam again. Only 1% of Muslims in America don’t believe in allah. They are devoted and fiercely driven. (I can’t wait ’til the Pew survey on how many of them would support ISIS at least some of the time, but I’m not holding my breath.) As I always say to the intolerant liberal morons who knock Evangelicals, “Oh, so the Muslims are much better, right? You’d rather we live in a Muslim nation?”

I’ve noted again and again on this site over the years that the reason we haven’t been overtaken (yet) by Muslims the way Europe soon will be, is that we have a strong Christian backbone among our population. As I’ve noted, Europe is full of atheists and the areligious, many of whom are either looking for something (which they find in Islam) or are very wimpy and let Muslims run over them (currently going on in Europe). And I’ve been knocked by atheists for saying so. But do the math. When Christianity declines and atheism grows, Islam grows and takes over. And that’s what we’ve seen in Europe.

It’s also, sadly, what we are seeing slowly happening here. And not so slowly, since we continue to import hundreds of thousands of Muslims to U.S. soil.

I’ve been warning about it for years, and mocked for years for saying so. But in a few generations, who will be mocking whom when your great-grandchildren must wear burkas and pay the jizya . . . if they manage to survive beheadings and forced conversions.

Muslims believe in the hijra–taking over non-Islamic lands through immigration (and then through childbirth). Muslims have been warning us for years of their plans, as many of them name their American mosques, “Dar Al-Hijrah”–the land of the hijrah.

So sad that nobody got the message.

We are all–all of the nations of the world–Dar Al-Hijrah, now. And we’re just lying down and enjoying it. Pathetic.

I have taken your warnings seriously. Judeo-Christian values will not survive the loss of religious belief. The growing trend toward violence and uncompromising intolerance are signs of this. Identity politics are antithetical to harmonious living or shared values. Islam is filling a vacuum created by Western social decay.

Nice job, Debbie.

Even though according to anthropological and scientific studies, it is a fact that STILL here in the US, those of us who are secularists (me being Agnostic, and no, you don’t necessarily need religious beliefs to know what morality is, etc.), the number increases on a regularly basis.

But I still do believe in the traditional aspects of “freedom of religion” in our 1st Amendment, of keeping your religious views and your belief in your own God to yourself, and not make your faith influential. For the better part globally, the only faith that’s making their religion a public influence is “Islam”.

Despite what both administrations of the Bush and currently the Obama administration, the Muslim populace here in the States remains at an extreme low percentage (and yes more and more Muslims are becoming apostates of leaving and denouncing their faith); and both leaderships are “pluralists” of giving a little too much treatment to a specific community.

Sean R. on November 3, 2015 at 8:02 pm

Any “morality” that you think you have originated from Judaeo-Christian tenets.

    DS_ROCKS! on November 4, 2015 at 12:32 pm

With all due respect DSR, I have to ultimately disagree with you about morality and where it originated from, “morality” derived out of the “Age of Reason” and also the “Enlightenment” in western Europe around 300-500 years ago (in other words, morality is a philosophical term and NOT a religious terminology), and the “conservative moral-sense” was popular with the philosophies of Edmund Burke in the 17th century in England (Burke was Irish born, but served as a politician in British parliament), and from Adam Smith’s philosophy in the 16th century, mainly from Smith’s novel, “The Theory of Moral Sentiments”!

      Sean R. on November 5, 2015 at 11:12 pm

Sean R., obviously the growth in Islam here already takes into account those leaving Islam. It is net growth.

I don’t agree that a religion can’t have “a public influence.” The problem is when any system of beliefs imperialistically attempts to destroy other religions or secular freedoms.

As for an “extremely low percentage of Muslims,” Jews make up about 2.2% according to a quick search I did. That, too, is extremely low. Does it make no difference for America? I think of Muslims as anti-Jews. They too make a great difference; alas, it is always for the worse.

skzion on November 4, 2015 at 6:34 pm

“The problem is when any system of beliefs imperialistically attempts to destroy other religions or secular freedom.”

It looks a question, but to respond to that Skzion, is that let us say that if a specific belief-system as you elaborate attempts to hijack and undermine the philosophical’s of that societies culture and values, then I believe that the government ought to have debates on why such scenario is occurring in their nation.

And if such detrimental situations continue, then the state ought to propose incentives to stop that certain belief system to “stop” their attempt take over of that society. I’m typically am NOT a statist, but on that circumstance, which can relate national security, then the state must step in.

      Sean R. on November 5, 2015 at 11:23 pm

Well Sean, at least you’re consistent in calling on religious people to keep their religion (particularly Christians and Christianity) to themselves and out of the public square. Of course, the religions and adherents of atheism, agnosticism and secular humanism make no such demand on themselves. The Declaration of Independence claims that our rights come from God. I guess those who signed that document weren’t keeping their religious beliefs to themselves and were in fact trying to influence people. And the 1st Amendment protects the free EXERCISE of religion, which means you have a right to proselytize, speak out, try to win converts and influence others, the culture and the laws.

Your statements that you believe in the “traditional” aspects of the 1st Amendment and then make a false conclusion about the Amendment show that you neither believe in the Amendment nor understand it. Or maybe you do and are just trying to deceive.

Concerned Citizen on November 4, 2015 at 8:03 pm

The Declaration of Independence uses the word “Creator” in its most famous sentence. But I don’t view this mean that the signers were attempting to “push” Christianity. Creator is a relatively neutral word that would not be limited to Christianity. There’s no “God the Father” or “Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” It’s just a generalized word of Deism. And the First Amendment makes it pretty clear that the US Government should not be in the religion business.

As for the growth of Islam in the US, we should all keep my encapsulation of what that means in mind. On many occasions, I’ve noted that although Jews represent less than 0.2% of the world’s population, they win 25% of the Nobel Prizes in science, medicine, and economics — i.e., the real achievements benefiting mankind. Yet, no Muslim has won such an award in more than 15 years even though Muslims represent more than 25% of the world’s population — and that’s despite the fact that the Nobel Committee is very pro-Islam, giving Muslims the soft, subjective Nobel Prizes for “peace” and “literature” at every opportunity. The difference is one of values, principles, and culture. As far as I can tell, Muslims are the only “religious” group in the world where its practitioners are taught to hate and to desire to murder at the earliest possible age.

Ralph Adamo on November 5, 2015 at 2:26 pm

“Of course the religion and adherents of atheism, agnosticism and secular humanism make no such demand on themselves.”

My friend, you made a “straw-man” logical-fallacy in your comment about Atheism, Agnosticism and Secular-Humanism, I’ll define the three in a nutshell.

Atheism: ostensibly means the disbelief in any God/Gods/Goddesses, etc. Agnosticism: Is a view that the truth values of certain claims, especially metaphysical and theistic claims such as whether God exist or not (in other words, unsure and can’t clarify on it), the divine or the supernatural exist are unknown and perhaps unknowable. And Secular-Humanism: is the philosophy of life stance that embraces human reason, logic, morality/ethics, and philosophical naturalism whilst specifically rejecting religious dogmatism, supernaturalism, pseudo-science and superstition as the basis of morality and decision making. Therefore, NEITHER of the three are religions, religious beliefs, doctrines, et al.

“The Declaration of Independence claims that out rights come from God.”

There is a philosophic in the Declaration of Independence does read “God” per-se, however though, it does NOT constitute to the “Christian-God” or any Abrahamic God, but rather the Declaration describes “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God”, its nature’s view of God agrees with deist philosophy and may even appeal to those of “pantheistical” beliefs.

“Your statments that you believe in the ‘traditional’ aspects of the 1st Amendment and then make a false conclusion about the Amendment show that you neither believe in the Amendment nor understand it.”

I intrinsically understand our 1st Amendment and what it stands for, it has a plethora of methodological stances in it, the precise meaning of “freedom of religion”, clearly stems to that: you can practice your religion, or worship your God(s) of you keeping your faith for a personal observance without any interference by the state/government or any organization. It doesn’t mean that you make your faith an influence (and on this sequence, it’s the adherents from the “RoP”/Islam that’s doing such crap) in public, whether it’s the government, politics, science, education, or any social-institutions!

      Sean R. on November 5, 2015 at 11:39 pm

Despite certain attempts by middle of the road advocates to dilute the Founder’s concept of God, a full reading of their own words finds that their concept of God came from none other than the Bible, or the so-called Judeo-Christian God. Their concept of God did not include any and all Gods, or concepts of same.

We need a leader with the backbone of a Churchill to speak the truth to the people. And take action.

Primetime on November 4, 2015 at 12:19 am

I agree w/ Debbie’s observations. However, one thing worth pointing out – it’s a lot easier to double in size when you are ~1% of the population – as is the case w/ Muslims, Hindus or Jews. A lot more difficult when you start at 78%.

Infidel on November 4, 2015 at 1:02 am

Clearly Muslims have had more success at “doubling” than Jews who were about 3% of the U.S. population 60 years ago and are today less than 2%. At the rate the former are increasing their numbers while the latter are stagnating, I expect Muslims will outnumber Jews in the U.S. within the next 10-12 years.

I wonder if, given his claim that America was not a Christian country but rather “one of the largest” for Muslims, this change was one objective in Obama’s planned “fundamental transformation” of America.

Raymond in DC on November 4, 2015 at 6:35 pm

Scarier still is the amount of Protestants voting Democratic if the religion totals are true in the Pew poll. Their totals dwarf Catholic liberals and Jews and Muslims are minimal !! So, though the other religions are growing, uneducated Protestants are enabling this trend due to lack of interest; again if the numbers are true!?

John Collignon on November 4, 2015 at 9:59 am

Another excellent article on the subject of the influence of Islam.

Note, the one size fits all, my way or the highway approach of Islam, not to mention the violence including beheadings (see recording of Nick Berg beheading)is similar to the British King’s actions that were cited by the revolutionaries in the Declaration of Independence.

And having prayed at the the Kotel – the Western Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh ??????? ?????? ??????? – We are thankful for all that You give to us in Your triuneness, for the comfort and conviction of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh, for all that You do for us, for all that You teach us. We thank You for guiding us to live our lives in Your will, in Your purpose, in Your plan for us. We thank You for Your protection from worldly influence and danger, for bringing us gently to a deeper knowledge of You and what Your will is for us, with Your love, mercy, grace and redemption through Yeshua HaMashiach.

Charles Kolb on November 4, 2015 at 3:04 pm

Charles, at first glance I wasn’t sure what you were talking about. Praying at the Western Wall? Some typical Jewish mishmashed sentences with Hebrew and English? Then I noticed “redemption through Yeshua HaMashiach.” That means you are proselytizing here, just as, I expect, you proselytize at the Kotel, appearing either Jewish or respectful of Judaism, all the while preying on Jewish souls.

skzion on November 4, 2015 at 6:39 pm

Also ominous is a recent video showing that a majority of Hillary supporters – mostly women, naturally – advocate the imposition of Sharia law in America. Yet despite a true “war on women” being waged by Islam – FGM’s, forced wearing of burqas, honor killings, being treated like chattel, etc. – these same women fall for the Left’s version of a “war on women” which in this context means a reassertion of the cause of life and fighting for the unborn.

And what CP notes is why liberals really are a sick bunch, and why liberalism is truly a mental disorder. If Dr. King and Gandhi were running on the Republican ticket, they’d be branded radicals, extremists and Tea Party nut jobs. We really are already dead and buried.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 4, 2015 at 4:10 pm

Alfredo, King and Gandhi wouldn’t be running on the the same ticket. Gandhi was racist against blacks. He fought against apartheid which separated Indians from whites while living in South Africa but at the same time spouted some nasty opinions about the black population there.

Marla on November 4, 2015 at 4:54 pm

Okay Marla, I stand corrected. If you like, I will also sit corrected, and if you wait about an hour or so, I will be laying down corrected. Let’s not forget King’s ill-fated deal with the Democrat Party to throw in with them, and perhaps doing “his people” a terrible disservice to this very day and beyond.

What I was trying to analogize was the American left’s love for both men, and making a point about the mental disorder that is liberalism.

This is Alfredo taking a powder until perhaps the NFL playoffs are under way. Would you believe, the Super Bowl? The NBA Conference Finals? The Soap Box Derby quarterfinals in South Central Northwest Detroit?

Let’s try this again. We can substitute Porky Pig and Wally Gator for King and Gandhi.

Errrr, would you believe Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley? Yogi and Boo Boo Bear? Charlie Brown and Snoopy? Pig Pen and Lucy? Wile E. Coyote and The Roadrunner? Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor?

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on November 5, 2015 at 12:14 am

“Oh my goodness!” as Shirley Temple would say…

Some months past, I referenced the Ten (10) Commandments in my Reply – probably as a starting point for Ethical / Moral / non-Predator behavior in civilized societies.

Ouch…I got a negative hit Reply for that one.

So, allow me to ask:

1. What objections are there for using them as guidelines?

2. Specifically, Note definitions of “KILL” vs “MURDER”.
See: http://jpfo.org/rabbi/6th-commandment.htm

3. Historically, THE CODE OF HAMMURABI as well as SUMMA THEOLOGICA (Thomas Aquinas) and THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (Moses) – all were attempts to civilize-socialize mankind away from barbarism, enslavement, and destruction.

4. Did it take a “divine entity” to convey a moral code of behavior to mankind? Or, did it take an awareness by those who saw a middle position for themselves between the Royalty of the time and the General Population in a secure, protected leveraged position?

In any event I believe side by side comparisons of religions will reveal objective answers and contrasts to be used in one’s personal, objective analysis.

For me, I only ask this: WHY THE HELL WOULD ONE FREELY CHOOSE TO BECOME A MEMBER OF A RELIGIOUS BELIEF SYSTEM THAT WOULD RETURN ONESELF BACK TO A MILITARISTIC, MISOGYNISTIC, BARBARIC, THEOCRATIC SOCIETY SUCH AS ISLAM IS SHOWING ITSELF TO BE?

Debbie, I believe your earlier statement:

“Muslims believe in the hijra–taking over non-Islamic lands through immigration (and then through childbirth). Muslims have been warning us for years of their plans, as many of them name their American mosques, “Dar Al-Hijrah”–the land of the hijrah.”

Here’s the even scarier statistic:

https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists/@@wanted-group-listing

Less than 1% of the U.S. population but 93% of wanted perps of U.S. based terrorism and terror related crimes.

But according to the portion of our population that refuses to call terrorism, well, terrorism, this is called racial profiling. Schmendricks!

There is not only Dar Al-Islam and Dar Al-Hijrah awaiting us, but also if the North Carolina situation is any indication, Dar Al-LGBT (in lieu of an Arabic translation for that term). That subgroup’s fanatical drive to replace existing Judeo-Christian values with amoral, subversive, debauched, dissolute, hedonistic “values” designed to tear society apart, is on par with what Muslims have been systematically doing in this country and all through the West.
