No “Black Lives Matter” Rallies in This Gruesome Death

By Debbie Schlussel

Have you heard about the tragic, torturous death of Tamika Hurd, a Black woman who was reconnecting with her Christian faith? Probably not. No “Black Lives Matter” rallies for her because of how she died and the identity of who did it.

No Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson media hype over this because Tamika Hurd’s Black boyfriend, Charles Campbell Jr., allowed her to freeze to death and did nothing to save her. No viral videos going around showing her freezing to death. Her Black life apparently didn’t matter because the guy behind her death is also Black. And Black lives only matter when the people who allegedly take the life are White (or “White Hispanic”), right?

A Benton Township man has admitted to leaving a woman outside his house to freeze to death last year. Charles Campbell Jr., 49, pleaded guilty Monday to involuntary manslaughter in the Feb. 22, 2014, death of Tamika Hurd, 32. Campbell was arrested in September.

He told Berrien County Trial Court Judge Angela Pasula that Hurd was his girlfriend. The two lived together at a home on East Empire Avenue. Campbell’s lawyer, James Jesse, said Hurd’s brother dropped her off at home the night of Feb. 22, “highly intoxicated.” “She went in and out several times. It was cold with a lot of snow. He (Campbell) left her there and went shopping, and when he came back she was dead.”

Berrien Assistant Prosecutor Cortney O’Malley said a police investigation revealed that Hurd had taken a shower and was wet when she went outside without a coat, hat, boots or gloves. She said that although Campbell did not lock the woman out of the house, he knew that she was too drunk to get herself back in. O’Malley said it was between 24 and 27 degrees that night. Pasula accepted Campbell’s guilty plea, saying he acted in a grossly negligent manner that caused Hurd’s death.

I agree that this is not exactly murder, and the woman contributed to her own death by getting so drunk and going outside wet. We all must take personal responsibility for our actions and our lives, and had she done so, she would be alive today. But the boyfriend had to know she wasn’t in her right mind (and he could have prevented this tragedy if he gave a damn), and so the plea is probably appropriate. It sounds like this guy knew this woman would die and just didn’t care (although the tears in his eyes in the mugshot do look real and remorseful to me). Do you agree?

If a White boyfriend had done this to a Black woman, don’t you think there would be media outrage times 1,000, with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jacksons recruiting the ghost of Johnny Cochran to file suit?

From the Family Funeral Home in Benton Harbor, Michigan:

Tamika gave her life to Jehovah and she was working toward baptism at the time of her death. She was a sweet, caring, likable person who loved children and life. Tamika was well known and those who knew her well will truly miss her. She loved her family and loved the times she spent with the ones she loved.

Tamika Hurd, Rest In Peace. Jesse and Al are resting in silence because her boyfriend has the right skin complexion. Ditto for all the BoBo White liberal hipsters who usually join in their riots.

It’s not just with Ms. Hurd’s case that some black lives matter more than others (i.e. those of criminal elements as opposed to the law abiding) to this front group for criminals whose financing was at least in part (from my recollection) by the likes of George Soros. They weren’t exactly out in force over the murder of NYPD Officer Randolph Holder, either. (And Al Sharpton had the nerve, when he declined the invite to appear at Holder’s wake, to claim that his presence would have led “others” to politicize his appearance – like he himself never politicizes anything?) Apparently, if you’re both black and blue (i.e. a Black person wearing a police officer’s uniform), your life doesn’t matter for diddly-squat, either.

It’s pretty easy to pick most people up and carry them, at least for a guy like me. Up to about 180 lbs., I can lift most folks up in a frontal style carry, with both palms up. You put your right (or left) hand underneath the upper part of the back near the shoulders, your other hand underneath their knees and the person will then be lying in your arms, and you can walk with them wherever you need to go, even it’s upstairs.

I don’t know what is the maximum weight of a person I can carry in this manner, but this woman’s face does not speak 180 lbs. Her boyfriend could have gone outside, implored her not to get feisty with him, and informed that he was about to pick her up and bring her inside. A gentle conversation about the cold, which they might not be feeling, and how a person in their state might be extremely susceptible, will usually convince the person to accept a remedy.

I’m sure he’s big and strong enough to have done that much. And throwing someone over a shoulder usually results in being able to handle an even bigger person than the method I described above. He was probably thinking phuk dat bitch, and now is too late to do the right thing.

Tacit admission that black lives don’t matter when the murder is black on black.

What’s the murderer’s ” religion “.

Many black people understand that the “Black Lives Matter” group is bogus. They just don’t get any major media attention because they don’t serve the Progressive agenda and insist on focusing on reality. Here’s an example on YouTube:

I also agree withe involuntary manslaughter plea deal.

This is a tragic situation all the way around. Tamika Hurd seemed like she was a nice lady who didn’t have to die. If I was me I would have picked her up over the shoulder style and made sure that she stayed put. Now I know that as adult humans we are responsible for ourselves and our own lives. That being said being her boyfriend Charlie should have given a damn but he didn’t. Now as to the Black Lives Matter maggots these people make me sick. To me all lives matter just like former Maryland governor O’Mally said before he got punked into changing his mind by those lunatics. This is the same group that also punked old Bernie Sanders taking over his stage at a rally. I know that the dumbocrats running for president want the Black vote but good grief talk about having no courage in the face of stupidity. Speaking of stupidity how else could a group of people give credence to racist ingrates like Jackson and Sharpton. These two reperbates along with BLM don’t care about Black lives unless that life is taken by a White person. And good God do not let that person be a cop. We would never hear the end of it. This however doesn’t fit the racists narrative so all you will hear are crickets.

If the man did not want to deal with a drunk, he could have called the police. Hurd could have slept it off in jail. Instead, the boyfriend just left her out to die. “Black Lives Matter” could care less about actual Blacks, if they are not allegedly the victim of some White or “White Hispanic(as noted by Debbie.

Well, Blacks have affirmative action in employment, college, being pulled over by the police, etc., etc. I guess the next step is affirmative action re which lives matter.

Change the name of the “Organization” to C.B.L.M. ..Certain Black Lives Matter. If this “Movement” wants to have credibility, I suggest they change their the initials of their “Movement” from BLM to just BM.

I’m not sure this is manslaughter. She was an adult and voluntarily got drunk and put herself outside. I believe you do not have a requirement to intervene to rescue someone in danger. How do we know she didn’t commit suicide?

He should file suit against the racist alcohol manufacturer. Tamika was only guilty of one thang : D.W.B. aka. Drinking While Black. Outside of THE SHINING when have you heard of a white person getting drunk and freezing to death? That’s what I thought. Tamika is now in of eternal social justice thanks to her boyfriend.

PS. I bet the judge was a cracker…

The “RATIONAL” vs the “Irrational”.

The irrational Tamika appears to have been rational enough to shower – an attempt to get sober? So, why would she have run outside? Something seems amiss.

Mr. Campbell should have, rationally, known Tamika was beyond making rational choices about her exposure, so why did he leave her outside? He made an irrational decision too. Again, something seems amiss.

It seems that certain groups, social cultures, or mental midgets have a definite problem deciding rational decisions vs. irrational decisions.

Tamika severely paid for her decision…will Mr. Campbell pay for his gross disregard of Tamika’s life?

Civility and Humanity toward others has exited life’s stage.

Let’s rename the group BAM for what it obviously represents… Black Attitude Matters. (But honestly, I appreciate their use of the word black in their own moniker~I am so tired of typing African-American.)

While living in NY it was commonplace for me to hear things like ‘good riddance’ and ‘no great loss’ whenever a cop was shot and killed. Thing is that these remarks were uttered by blacks, often about black officers, and without regard for the lives of wives and children left behind.

So while their public clamor demands that ‘black lives matter’ their private demeanor proclaims violence, anarchy and the worthlessness of all lives but their own.
