Pope Francis: Castro’s PosterPope of Oppression

Just Like Pope Pius XII: Francis Gives Kosher Seal of Approval to Castro

To my Catholic readers, I respect your faith and your Church’s struggle to keep it from dying out. But your current Pope, Francis, sickens me. I have no respect for him. Anyone who claims to be a world leader and discusses global warming with the Castro Bros, while his parishioners are oppressed and tortured by them, is a disgusting man who deserves no respect from anyone.

I was going to say something on Sunday, when I heard radio and watched TV reports of Pope Francis’ visit to Cuba and how he pledged he was “not going to make political statements.” Apparently, it’s now “political” and out of the Pope’s moral domain for him to speak out about thousands of Cuban Catholics who are thrown into jail for years, beaten and tortured, for daring to try to speak out and demand freedom, including their freedom of religion as Catholics. And if that’s “political” and off the table for him, then maybe he shouldn’t be a Pope. No, not maybe. Definitely. For certain. He has no business being in this position and turning a blind eye to what is still going on in Cuba, just as Barack Obama has.

But, then, the Pope actually did engage in political statements. He met with Fidel Castro and they had a circle jerk about the “tragedy” of global warming. Sickening. He’s worried about an unproven theory of the environmental crazies. But Catholics whom we know are torn from their families and tortured and killed for public speech, that he can’t mention. And this guy is your Pope? How can you stand for it?

Yes, I know the Pope is a liberal. You don’t need to be a good Catholic anymore. You can have abortions, engage in gay marriage, get divorced rather than seek an annulment, and you are welcome. And if you are a human rights abuser who tortures and murders thousands of innocent Cuban Catholics, that, too, makes you a welcome guest of Pope Francis.

My grandparents survived the Holocaust (and most of both sides of my family was wiped out in it) and, although it was much worse than what is going on in Cuba, I can’t help but think of Pope Pius and how he enabled the Nazis, as well as how his Vatican sanctioned Catholic officials who helped Nazis like Adolf Eichmann escape justice. Now, we have a close modern equivalent with Francis engaging in mutual orgasms with the Castros. It’s simply nauseating. And a complete outrage. (For those who don’t normally read this site, I’ve attacked the many unelected Jewish “leaders” who deign to speak for me and who also sanction this kind of crap.)

If you think I’m exaggerating in comparing Francis to Pius, I challenge you to read Against All Hope: A Memoir of Life in Castro’s Gulag by Armando Valladares, one of my heroes and one of the most courageous men still living today. As I’ve noted on this site before, Valladares spent more than 20 years in Castro’s prisons, being tortured, fed rotten food, and otherwise being subject to inhuman squalor, all because he was philosophically and religiously opposed to communism. And, yes, his religion was and is Catholicism. He was imprisoned from 1960 to 1982, and barely survived. And there are many like him with that fate in Cuba today, most if not all of them Catholic. If only the Pope had even a modicum of testicles and moral courage to speak out for them, instead of having a hip global warming orgy with the Castros. The Pope should read Valladares’ book.

Get Yours . . .

So, why are we celebrating this Pope? Why are religious Catholics tolerating him as he throws them and their religion overboard in order to stay afloat on a sinking ship of a dying religion? Why are religious Catholics saying nothing as the Pope turns his back on their brave brothers and sisters of Cuba, including the Ladies in White, whom the Pope refused to see and avoided like the plague?

I, for one, am glad I’ll be in synagogue praying during most of Pope Panderfest USA 2015. As for you Catholics, I don’t know how you can tolerate this fraud.

***

BTW, I’ve mentioned this on the site before: when I was a sports agent and represented some U.S. Olympic divers, I used to know a former Cuban Olympic diver, Rioger “Rio” Ramirez. He defected to America and, so, he never got to actually compete in the Olympics. Rio, a Catholic, was taken from his family at age six because they saw he had athletic ability. He only got to see his parents and siblings once a year and barely knew them. Instead, the Cuban state owned him and forced him to train for most of his young life. He was a good-looking kid, and he told me how terrified he was when Fidel Castro met with him and took a liking to him. Rio was afraid he’d be raped by Fidel (and fortunately that never happened). It’s more than a rumor that Fidel Castro liked to molest young boys.

You’d think a “liberal” Pope who is trying to escape the reputation of the past of molestation by Catholic priests, wouldn’t go out of his way to embrace an atheist who likes young boys and has probably had his way with more than a few. I mean, Castro is not even a Catholic, and the Pope is kissing his ass like there’s gold hidden inside.

Sad. Even more sad that the criticism about this is almost non-existent. I feel for the Cuban people on whom this Pope has turned his back.

Oh and this is the same church that has backed the Iran nuclear deal and denounced Israel for trying to keep the peace in Jerusalem.

The Pope could have met with Cuban dissidents and victims of Communism. He could have used his moral authority to highlight their demand for freedom and defended their right to practice their Christian faith.

Instead he sought face time with their torturers, murderers and jailers. History will not be kind to Pope Francis.

There are several other ironies:
– About the priest molestation “scandal,” interesting that those harping about all that as part of their master plan to bring down the Church, couldn’t care less about young boys who were sexually molested or abused by: a) prominent “gay rights” activists in the San Francisco area and elsewhere, or b) powerful, openly gay Hollywood executives.
– About Francis’ falling for the “global warming” baloney: In a sense, his adherence to this makes him a throwback to the Catholic Church of old, namely the era of the Middle Ages and the Inquisition, when Church doctrine held tightly to the belief that the earth was flat and that all other planets including the sun revolved around it, and came down on Galileo like the proverbial ton of bricks after he declared the earth to revolve around the sun – not to mention their torturing, even to the point of death, those who likewise were branded “heretics” and “non-believers.” (And while I’m at it, while today’s bought-and-paid-for “scientists” who swallow this untested theory peddled by enviro-loonies love to claim that they’re the heirs to Galileo’s legacy, based on their blind swallowing of this fraud plus their fascistic intolerance towards anyone who dissents from this scam, they have far more in common with Galileo’s persecutors – which would have effectively made Galileo the “climate change” skeptic of his day.)
– And then there’s the little issue of Obama peddling the most radical fringes of those who go way against Catholic teachings, as “representatives” of the faith, before Francis.

Nor do they care about boys raped by MOSLEMS!!!!!

Even in the darkest days of the Inquisition, popes and cardinals cared if CATHOLICS were persecuted, as they were by Moslems and by the Church of England.

On a lighter note, I wish all the religious Jews on this website a happy, healthy, kosher Succot and Simchat Torah.

Miranda Rose Smith on September 25, 2015 at 4:26 am

D, one of your better rants — totally agree. Francis completely illustrates the continued path of downfall of this church in it’s higher reaches. If you want assistance of any kind from this church it is better to be Muslim than any thing else other than Catholic. Just my opinion.

ra2216 on September 22, 2015 at 7:53 pm

Although not coming completely full circle in the church’s persecution of scientists and mopes like me (yet), we see academecians who would love to use the same tactics that were used centuries ago. How’s that progress coming retrograde-progressives? These same liberals would also love the tactics Castro uses, to this day, by branding us counter-revolutionaries, have the youth such as Rio snitch to the EPA when their parents expel too much CO2, or slaughter the cows when they fart too much, or whatever the supposedly man-made catastrophe du jour could be.
No worries, though. Obama will absolve Castro will absolve the Pope in what seems to be one freaky circle-jerk. G-d knows and sees all, which gives me solace. Having a Bacardi and Coke, with a little lime, while smoking a cigar when the Castro Brothers join their buddy “Che” in hell would be nice too, I admit.

“I’m just here for the glamor shots.” – Pope Francis

Pope Francis is seeking the approval of the world. He is the very model of a modern prelate in that he finds faith and personal morals so very boring, while grabbing on to political issues, such as Global Warming and Immigration. Pope Francis is the product of the social and political system of Argentina, which has been known for its adoration of Marxists and Fascists over the years.

Worry on September 23, 2015 at 2:39 am

I keep thinking of two very different individuals.

Gaber disproves the notion that youth is a passing fancy…. a 22 year old man can make use of the gifts G-d gave him to change the lives of others.

In contrast, the man old enough to be his father has amply demonstrated wisdom does not improve with age – he spouts the modern equivalent of crackpot flat earth nonsense.

I don’t always agree with Donald Trump, but I found myself nodding today when he said, “I’m tired of politically correct crap.”

We’re a society drowning in BS fertilizer that will never grow what we truly need.

NormanF on September 24, 2015 at 12:59 pm

As a Catholic, I am NOT celebrating this pope. The left loves him, which makes my antenna go up. I gave up altogether when Susan Sarandon praised him the other day.

Jean on September 23, 2015 at 12:44 pm

But your current Pope, Francis, sickens me

And rightfully so.

The Pope is the incarnation of the Beast as described in Daniel and Rev. His getting involved in global politicking was all foretold.

DS_ROCKS! on September 23, 2015 at 4:38 pm

Hello DS – I left the Catholic Church many years ago, and am now a Jehovah’s Witness. And the question I would like to ask the Pope (politely of course), in the unlikely event I ever meet him, is this. How does he understand Jesus words at Matthew 23:9: “Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One.”

How do you you understand them?

And surely the title “Most Holy Father” can only belong to the Creator, the Almighty God? Even Jesus never took such a title for himself.

I wondered why you see the Pope as the “beast” though? The “beasts” of Daniel and of Revelation are clearly identified as the political powers, human governments.

Now the Popes have certainly meddled in politics, rather than being “no part” of the world, as Jesus commands – and Revelation warns what will happen next.

I’m not Catholic I’m Southern Baptist as such I’m not really stoked that the Pope is here. I’m glad for my friends that are Catholic that they’re happy that he’s here. That is my liberal friends because my more conservative ones do not like this guy. My one friend that invited me to go to her church when we were teens really doesn’t like him. What Pope Francis did or didn’t do while in my future vacation spot Cuba illustrates what he’s all about. Instead of meeting with Cubans who are Catholic that are still being oppressed by his new buddies the Castro brothers. So much for him meeting with people he could actually help. But like a liberal he took the easy way out. Now he’s here in this country snoozing it up with the dumbo twins Obama and Biden. Along with the First Harpy and non medical Dr Biden. I know that deep down in his tiny little mind Obama is glad as heck that this guy isn’t like Pope John Paul. When this guys getting lauded by leftists morons like Susan Sarandon and F Chuckie Todd because of his stances on abortion and globull warming is it any wonder why more conservative Catholics have issues with this man.

Ken B on September 23, 2015 at 5:59 pm

Visiting American prisoners but not Cuban prisoners? Pontificating (literally) about global warming and how evil capitalism is? Pope Francis is a New World Order guy.

MomInMinnesota on September 23, 2015 at 10:31 pm

Its really that bad.

Its telling he’s cares more for environmental crazies and fighting capitalism than freedom and stopping the spread of Islam.

Nothing spiritual in this Pope’s ministry.

NormanF on September 23, 2015 at 11:22 pm

The Pope is not running for public office here in the United States. Therefore, on a more relevant note: Do you remember Sen. Clinton’s visit to Bashar Al-Assad in Syria?

Just thought I’d mention it.

There is NO Santa Claus on September 24, 2015 at 12:47 am

It’s telling that those who go ga-ga over “Pope” Francis (and praise him to the stars over his blind following of the “global warming” scam a la the Middle Ages Catholics’ “earth is flat” and other dogmas over which countless were tortured and killed for “non-believing”) are the same ones who, with prior Popes, wouldn’t give them the time of day because they (up to Benedict) held fast to, and taught the meanings of, traditional morality and sexual restraint as opposed to Francis’ “anything goes” mantra.

And those who are going after a Congressman (or Senator) who vowed to boycott Francis’ speech, have no leg to stand on whatsoever given how many Democrats had boycotted Binyamin Netanyahu’s speech before Congress advising against the Iran “deal”(sic).

It is also obvious Obama is taking full advantage of Francis’ leftist leanings by parading all sorts of fringies who go every bit against Catholic teachings, as “representatives” of the faith for him to meet and greet, while not even allowing those who hold to Catholic doctrine even within 1,000 feet.

ConcernedPatriot on September 24, 2015 at 8:38 am

Between you and me, I thought Obama’s insult to the Pope was well deserved – right on in fact even though I despise Obama.

Today’s Vatican doesn’t deserve the respect of decent people and this Pope is no saint.

But then he does as Debbie has aptly noted before, preside over a dying faith.

NormanF on September 24, 2015 at 1:10 pm

Pope Francis delivered a speech to Congress notable for its absence of explicit remarks about abortion, gay marriage and Islam.

But he hit all the liberal bromides… what courage to say that in open daylight.

He’ll never be like Sherif Gaber, an Egyptian Muslim turned atheist in hiding who has made pro-Israel and pro-science videos to the Arab World.

Telling people what they don’t want to hear at risk to your own life is the mark of moral courage.

The Pope didn’t risk anything in his remarks to Congress.

NormanF on September 24, 2015 at 12:48 pm

Absolutely right, as usual Norman. I did not watch the speech before Congress, having more important errands to run. But I heard excerpts of it on the radio in the car, and I found it particularly galling that the freaking POPE did not even use this opportunity to speak out against abortion and the appalling actions of the ghouls at Planned Parenthood. Instead, when he began to touch on the issue, ever so lightly, he turned it into a denouncement of the DEATH PENALTY. Yeah, I guess killing millions of innocent babies is just fine with him – or is too “political” for him to talk about – but the world really needs to do something about the rampant murders of convicted murderers. Honestly!

I do not feel inclined to cut this guy one inch of slack, but I do suspect that his speeches were written by other people, and I don’t know how conversant he is in English. One would think in a position like his that he would be, but since we all know that very few politicians and public figures actually write the words they speak from a stage, it is possible that a team of toadies wrote the speeches, as well as arranged and vetted, with considerable influence from his various hosts, the audiences for his tour.

One last thought. I know a couple who have always been staunch Catholics. They are raising their large family as Catholics, and sacrificing to send their kids to Catholic schools. The husband recently stunned his wife by telling her that he does not feel that he can, in good conscience, continue to go to the Catholic Church. He said everything about it has gotten so political, and so far away from the core teachings of the church that he was raised with, that he just feels disgust when he has to listen to a homily from their Mexican priest, exhorting them to embrace illegal aliens rather than exhorting the illegals to respect the laws of this country, or sit through a mass led by their other, openly gay, priest. He said that it is too hard for him to set aside everything that he was taught growing up, just so he can go to mass on Sunday and call himself a “good Catholic.” His wife is devastated, still blindly swallowing whatever the Church is dishing up, but when he told me this I said, “Welcome to the club. I dropped out of organized religion a long time ago. I did not lose my faith, but the denomination I was raised in became so political (left) and so militant, that I no longer recognized it. I did not leave the church; it left me.”

MIGirl on September 24, 2015 at 8:02 pm

Fortunately, climate change is not part of the Deposit of Faith
so Catholics are not obliged to adhere to it.

Elaine Steffek on September 24, 2015 at 7:01 pm

Pope Francis, unfortunately, has little concern for the “Deposit of Faith”. He actually hectors and berates those who hold to the old faith. Pope Francis gives aid and encouragement to those who have always loathed Roman Catholicism and all of its works. His “New Friends” want nothing to do with the actual church, but merely seek to use what is left of its declining prestige to further their own pet causes, such as Climate Change.

Pope Francis looked like a mule carrying the baggage of others during his Congressional address.

sanjay on September 25, 2015 at 12:14 am

All major religions whose main leadership has veered way to the left politically are dying off. The only, ahem, one on the ascent is Islam (and it doesn’t even count as a true religion – it is a toxic ideology that is absolutely lethal to freedom and liberty). And as Debbie and others have noted in the past, Francis did absolutely nothing to stem this tide. Indeed, to this day he is a staunch Islamopanderer.

ConcernedPatriot on September 25, 2015 at 7:34 am

I’m Catholic and I agree with DS. I don’t even like the Papacy and see it as illegitimate and obscene. Nothing supports man/boy love more than the Vatican in Rome. I don’t know how God tolerates it.

I may be wrong but I just don’t think I am. I couldn’t give two craps about him and his visit. DS said it all.

Skunky on September 25, 2015 at 11:11 am

MIGirl,

I agree 100% with your husband. I have told several priests that “I didn’t leave the Church rather the Church left me”.

Having to go to Mass celebrated by a quasi-open homosexual priest that is rumored to spend his nights at a gay bar sickens me–no as much that he is gay but the terrible hypocrisy.

Also the U.S. Church openly supporting criminals that are here illegally makes me sick–it’s all about donations and butts in pews, not about what is moral, legal and right.

Finally this clown Pope never had much to say about Argentina’s (where he is from) military junta that “disappeared” those who disagreed with it. Do a search on Pope Francis and the Disappeared.

Comparing the wonderful Pope John Paul II that Catholics and many non-Catholics revered to this clown shows how the Church is circling the drain.

JimmyPx on September 25, 2015 at 11:45 am

Keep a VERY close eye on this Pope and the Vatican. There is a reason for all this. The Catholic Church is a phony church, Mystery, Babylon The Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations. This is all in the Bible. Terrible, horrible, terrible things are going to start happening very soon in the world, far worse than what’s happening now. The “fix is in” and the Vatican is an integral part of it.

Soon The Beast, a conglomerate of Eastern and Western European nations, a religio-political system headed up by The Antichrist and the False Prophet, will soon appear. Worldwide slavery is just around the corner. The United States is dead, and this Pope’s visit is part of the stench of our death.

Debbie’s right, Skunky’s right, and everyone else here or anywhere who has trepidation about this Pope, the Papacy in general, or the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is all too correct.

The worst time of trouble in the history of the entire human race is right around the corner, . . .

and this Pope and the Vatican are key parts in the movement of this watch. But God will work this all out.

As a Roman Catholic, I am offended by this. You’re way to easy on Pope Frank here. In addition to courting the murdering Castro bros, peddling fake science and leaving Christians to evacuation, mass murder and sex slavery in the Levant, the guy has nothing to say to Kirchner about reneging on debts.

This guy’s more than embarrassment, he’s dangerous.

Alarmed Pig Farmer on September 25, 2015 at 1:11 pm

Our Alarmed Pig Farmer has a lot of horse sense with that last sentence. And I am qualified, because if I want to visit pigs I know where to go near to my home in PR, and I hang with horses on a somewhat regular basis.

Dangerous indeed, from one farmer to another, believe it, because we live in dangerous times. This pope is one of the titular heads of the behind the scenes events that are soon going to usher in what he, Barack Milhous Hussein Benito Obama, George Soros etal believe will be a New World Order.

Populations all over the world, including right here in the DisUnited Snakes of Amerika, are being subjected to national policies that are going to subjugate us all. We are being trained, or better yet, read Cass Sunstein’s book Nudge. The intellectual elite, along with their friends among the rich and powerful, believe in categorization, subjugation and heavy handed authoritarianism.

I know, because here in NYC, where I have been for about a month working, where I was born, raised and lived almost all my life, they’re all around me. There are people in this world who believe that it’s okay for there to be a few rich and powerful people in the world, as long as they’re on board with the right agenda.

Part of the right agenda is funding the push toward not National Socialism, but a worldwide version. They believe in politicians who believe in this collectivist notion of defining us all and ruling over us as though we were some sort of science project. Political Science. That’s their god.

Dangerous. This Pope is dangerous, this “president” is dangerous, and we are already aware of all the other leaders of the world, and what dangerous despots almost all are. It’s been that way since the beginning of time. People taking control of the various peoples of the world, and trying to shape society with edicts according to their belief system.

So, we have “global warming/climate change” and all the other things they use in their control of the at large media to shape our minds, and therefore our behavior.

Dangerous, indeed. These are dangerous times. Be afraid, be very afraid. And don’t be surprised when you wake up, boot up your computer or turn on your TV, and find out the leadership and political structure of the entire world has suddenly turned on a dime. They really believe in this, this globalist notion, they all think they’re so smart, so sophisticated, and we’re just here to be ruled according to their “scientific” notions of what constitutes a better society.

Dangerous. Oink and double oink to that. To all the regulars here, and all the occasional posters. Raise your hand if you were say, seven years old, and thought you were going to grow up to live in the time of the worst trouble in the history of the human race.

Nah, me neither, not when I was seven, I thought the world was going to evolve in to peace, love and someday we’d all teach the world to sing and buy the world a Coke.

Instead the whole world’s acting like it’s ON Coke. Irrational, moody, unreasonable, and about to blow it’s mind.

Alfredo from Puerto Rico on September 25, 2015 at 4:30 pm

There’s another noteworthy Nazi connection going on here in addition to the earlier ties of the Vatican to the Nazis. Observe that Fidel Castro is wearing Addidas sportswear in the photo above. And, in fact, Addidas is Castro’s favorite brand of clothing. I don’t believe that this was an accidental selection, as Addidas once had ties to the Nazis.

Addidas was founded by Adolf “Adi” Dassler and the company brand name that was later used was based on his name, using his nickname “Adi” plus “Das,” the first part of his last name.

With the ascent of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, Dassler and his brother joined the Nazi Party. Although Dassler equipped American Jesse Owens with his shoes in the 1936 Olympics, and Owens won 4 gold medals in the year he wore Adi’s shoes, Dassler remained in Germany and remained a Nazi. Dassler later named his company Addidas.

Of course today the company is a publicly traded company with diverse ownership, but its Nazi origins is a matter of history. That Castro would be attracted to used a brand with a Nazi history makes perfect sense when you think about it because the Nazis and the Communists have much in common.

I talked about this before, and, since I have much respect for Debbie and the important work she does, I have to repeat myself: the notion that Pius XII was an enabler of Hitler is a propaganda plot manufactured by the KGB, as one of its authors himself, Ion Pacepa, de facto Romanian second-in-command, confessed in detail in his book “Disinformation”.
Debbie is usually spot on about a great deal of things, but about Pius XII she is as wrong as one can be; immediately after the war he was praised as the one world leader more instrumental in protecting the Jews than any other, in fact, than all of them put together. Please read “Disinformation”. I’ve quoted before from other books that made the case for the great friend of the Jewish people that Pius XII actually was, but this one really lead us through the plot that made possible the superseding of what was then universal knowledge by lies, from the very beginning, and told by one of its creators and agents.
About Francis, on the other hand, I’m very unhappy to agree with you.

There is NOTHING that is good about this worthless attention whore of a Pope. He is the RC church’s equivalent of Jimmy Carter—“a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” I loathe him.

Things that he should press hard—opposition to abortion and gay marriage—he soft-pedals. Global warming is NOT in the gospels.
