EXCLUSIVE: Muslim Owner of Pizzeria in Balt Riots Won’t Condemn ISIS/HAMAS, Recognize Israel
Pizza Jihad: Papa Palace Pizzeria Owner Essam El Ghannam Won’t Condemn ISIS, HAMAS, Hezbollah; Won’t Recognize Israel’s Right to Exist
I would say, “I hate to say it, but . . . .” But I don’t hate to say it: I told you so. The owner of Baltimore’s Papa Palace pizzeria–which he claims was torched by race rioters–is an Egyptian Muslim who refuses to condemn ISIS and HAMAS and won’t recognize Israel’s right to exist, as I suspected in an earlier post.
Essam El Ghannam, who owns Papa Palace pizza store, recently contacted me in e-mails in response to my column regarding my suspicions about him and his beliefs and my statement that I wasn’t going to shed a tear for him yet or maybe ever. Now, for certain, it’s never. As you may recall, a gaggle of the online money-making establishment known as “Conservative, Inc.ers,” including FOX News, plagiarized a Baltimore TV station’s story on El Ghannam and cried over “minority” El Ghannam. But he did not have my sympathy. And he certainly doesn’t now.
El Ghannam told me he’s an Egyptian Muslim with U.S. citizenship (and very poor English). And he refused to answer my questions regarding whether or not he would condemn HAMAS and ISIS and recognize Israel’s right to exist. After repeated e-mails, the only thing he insisted on is that he has “Jewish friends.” Yup, the old “some of my best friends are [insert ethnicity here]” defense. Read our e-mail exchange, which should answer all the critics I heard from who insisted to me that El Ghannam was 1) probably Christian (he isn’t); or 2) probably not extremist and pro-HAMAS/anti-Israel (sure looks like he is, as his silence and refusal to answer my questions are deafening):

To: Essam El Ghannam essamessam10@yahoo.comWell, I need the answers in a written e-mail, please. It’s not that difficult. It’s either you condemn Hezbollah and HAMAS and agree with Israel’s right to exist or you don’t. Those are yes or no answers that don’t need a phone call or explanation. If you won’t answer in writing, I think we pretty much have the answers.

Subject: Re: Hi
To: Essam El Ghannam essamessam10@yahoo.comThis is not something that needs a phone conversation. It’s a quick yes or no. So yes or no, do you condemn HAMAS & ISIS? And yes or no, do you recognize Israel’s right to exist?
DS
And that was the end of the conversation. I never heard back from Essam El Ghannam again, which is predictable because, per the typical Muslim extremist who is on board with the program, he refused to specifically condemn HAMAS, Hezbollah, and ISIS in writing. Nor would he recognize Israel’s right to exist.
But he gave me the typical bullcrap you typically get from Muslims trying to snow you. They are the aggrieved and the persecuted, and we are the persecutors and perpetrators for asking them questions they don’t want to answer truthfully in writing and on the record. So, instead, they will act all persecuted and sympathetic, and tell us how their friends are Jewish [“I have so many friends of Jewish”], and all the other halal baloney. Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah, we are the world, we are the children. Nice fertilizer, though somebody else does the lawn here.
But he would NOT condemn ISIS. He would not condemn HAMAS. He would not condemn Hezbollah. And he would not recognize Israel’s right to exist.
So, sue me if you don’t like it that I’m not shedding a single tear for this torched-out pizza shop owner who won’t condemn groups that torch businesses–and people, including Christians, Jews, and fellow Muslims–on a daily, or rather, hourly, basis. He wants our sympathy for his claim that Black race rioters torched his shop (a claim of which I’ve seen zero proof and am not convinced has any veracity to it). But he has no sympathy for the victims of the Islamic terrorist groups he supports who regularly do this to others–Jews, Christians, other Muslims.
What goes around comes around. And that applies to extremist Muslim (redundant phrase) pizza shop owners.
So sad, too bad. Alhamdilullah [praise allah] for the poetic justice in it all.
Congrats, Essam El Ghannam. Your pizza is officially halal in all senses of the word.
Exit Question: how long ’til FOX News does an update on Essam El Ghannam and actually does its homework (ie., real journalism), like I did?
Answer: Never. So you can stop holding your breath now.
Great work! Though just for the heck of it, I would have asked him if he or one of his buddies torched the joint. And also remind him to stop lying on his menu about his “pepperoni” toppings that aren’t real pepperoni, given his halal menu–which he doesn’t put on his menu either.
