As lies go, when a tv news anchor fails to air a significant news item that might be against one’s political leanings, is this not as much a lie as actually stating a mistruth? If you buy into this theory, then you would be hard pressed to find an honest news person on just about any channel/network.

I just read an article wherein Morning Joe and Mika said that Brian Williams shouldn’t be cast aside because of 1 or 2 or 3 mistakes. They made the point that the lies that led to the war in Iraq were much worse, and therefore, Brian should get a pass.

In ’69 I was with Charlie Co south of Hue. We were pinned down by ferocious small arms & mortar fire from VC positions to the south. Brian piloted that Huey in there like no other I’ve ever seen, plopped it down in a hot LZ & came out firing the 50 cal wiping those Marxists assholes out with single shots right between the eyes!

Brian then, laughing off a sucking leg wound loaded up the wounded, did emergency brain surgery saving a guy right then & there! Refused treatment from the corpsman and flew us outta there.

Brian Williams should’ve gotten the Silver Star for valor but, he was in deep undercover. Those VC Marxist pricks had an reward for his capture y’know?

A few weeks later, he rescued a puppy from a burning building. IS there anything he can’t do?
