How Much Your Super Bowl Party Stuff Really Costs
Below is an interesting graphic from yesterday’s Wall Street Journal, showing how much the raw materials in common Super Bowl party fare really cost. Obviously, prices also include labor, electricity, equipment, rent, and other variable and fixed costs, as well as profit. But commodity prices are down. Yet, in the Obamaconomy, prices haven’t fallen. Imagine how much these items would cost if taxes were lower, there were fewer government regulations, and unions and minimum wage didn’t come into the mix. AND if there were no ObamaCare.
Your government is not necessarily your friend. That is a truism that is often forgotten.
