FLASHBACK: Schlussel in 2002, “Will America Become the Next France?” YES!

By Debbie Schlussel

Thirteen years ago, in 2002, I warned that we would soon become “La Prochaine France,” the Next France, in the column I’m reprinting below. As I said then, French immigration policies were so lax that even French authorities didn’t know how many Muslims were in their midst, but at that point it was 25% to a third of the French population (though the numbers I reported in the column then were the “official stats” and were much lower percentages), fast moving to the fifty percent point, which would probably arrive by the year 2025–just a decade from now–or relatively soon thereafter.

kouachibrothers

At the time, right after the 9/11 attacks, I figured America would follow France in a few generations or at least a few decades. But I was wrong. The rapidity of Islamic immigration and birth rate, and the eager capitulation of our institutions, authorities, media, education, and entertainment to the demands of Muslims have hastened our arrival to becoming the next France. We’ve already had our own Kouachi Brothers (now being called the two “Frenchmen”–Um, NO, THEY. ARE. MUSLIMS.) in the form of the 9/11 hijackers, Nidal Malik Hassan, the Shoe, Times Square, and Undie Bombers, and countless others. I’ve had several very serious death threats, all of them from Muslims. Getting the feds to investigate and do anything about the Muslims in our midst who threatened to rape, torture, and murder me was like pulling teeth. As I’ve recounted time and again on this site, they treated me like the perpetrator and the Muslim would-be rapists, torturers, and murderers of me like the victims.

(And even those on the right attacked me for even reporting the threats to the FBI. Thomas More Law Center lawyer and Michelle Malkin buddy Emily Zanotti thought it was funny and praised and promoted the death threats, comparing me to a “special needs kid” for reporting it to authorities. The American Spectator continues to employ as a blogger this supporter of Islamic murder against me. Rush Limbaugh Guest Host/Red State owner Erick Erickson and Right Wing News/Town Hall columnist John Hawkins praised and promoted Zanotti for doing that, calling it funny and “snarky.” Hawkins was a paid blogger for David Horowitz’s FrontPageMag, and the uber-phony Horowitz continued to pay him and give him a forum, despite Hawkins’ praise for the promotion of Muslim rape, torture, and death threats against me.)

As you read the column, keep in mind that President Bush wanted to institute the same thing that Republicans now pretend they oppose (but do nothing to stop) with President Obama’s announced amnesty plan. And note that Hezbollah supporter and Islam sympathizer Jihad Darrell Issa is a (false) hero of the right because he’s been endlessly elevated, promoted, and drooled over by FOX News and many conservative online media sources, despite doing nothing but empty grandstanding on everything from Benghazi to the IRS with zero results. You should note that under President Bush–in the years since 9/11–the number of mosques in America doubled as did the American Muslim population. And 40% of the American Muslim population growth under Bush was from immigration he and the Republicans did NOTHING to stop while they wasted billions on a useless behemoth called Homeland Security, which seems to care neither about the Homeland (unless that’s Gaza or Riyadh) nor Security.

I marvel as people criticize French law enforcement authorities for not endlessly tailing the Kouachi Brothers, especially Cherif Kouachi who was convicted of trying to join Al-Qaeda in Iraq, which has since become ISIS. (The French said it became too costly to tail him after a while.) We here in America didn’t tail Tamerlan Tsarnaev, despite warnings from Russian intelligence that he was a radical. The lame Valley Girl “excuse” is that, well, the Russians never called us back to give more information. Uh-huh. And the halal dog ate my haram homework. Bush and Obama Administration FBI and Army officials knew about Nidal Malik Hassan’s extremism and jihadist bent, and yet they promoted him every step of the way until the Fort Hood Massacre. This ain’t the frog-eating surrender monkeys. It’s us.

Our Justice Department, FBI, and CIA leaders (both under Obama AND Bush) are partying and hanging out with the most radical Muslim leaders in America, rather than spying on them, even though several of them maintain mosques in Dearbornistan and Dearbornistan Heights where those heavily involved in Hezbollah are recruited and where fundraising and planning for their efforts goes on, all untouched and unwatched by us.

And remember the Undie Bomber? Well, as you may recall, just a few days later, a Muslim “businessman” with no luggage came here on the same flight from the Netherlands and caused a scene on the flight. I know from intelligence sources that the man, who claimed he was coming to Detroit for business, was tailed by American law enforcement authorities to a Washington, DC-area mosque. But then our Keystone Koppers lost him, and we don’t know what he was up to, with whom he met, or where he went.

Yup, we are no different from the French, minus a Croque Monsieur or two (soon to be banished because it has ham in it). We have the same idiocy, the same pathologies as they do–the same idiotic immigration policy, the same idiotic pandering to Islam, the same weak quisling mentality. And we will have (and already have had) the same results as the French.

Will America become La Prochaine France? Yes. It’s just a matter of how quickly. And in some ways–many ways–we are already there.

And, by the way, all of this in France should be no surprise to anyone. But it seems so many have forgotten the annual Muslim rioting and burning of cars by French Muslims, er . . . “youths” (as Fox News called ’em after its large shareholder Prince Alwaleed complained to his buddy Rupert), something that began en masse in 2005 and has continued ever since; that they’ve forgotten the attacks in Toulouse, and the French Muslim’s attack on Jews at the Belgian Museum, etc., etc., ad nauseam. None of this has been a surprise to me, since I warned about it back in 2002 in writing (and well before that on many radio and TV appearances) . . . .

Will America Be the Next France?

By Debbie Schlussel

Will America be the next France-and become a radical Muslim country?

Or will it remain the home of the free and the brave?

That depends upon whether you agree with President Bush or Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colorado) on immigration.

Bush wants to open the floodgates and Tancredo wants real reform.

Bush wants amnesty for all illegal immigrants currently in the U.S. – to grant them citizenship. This will be the last time, he promises. We’ve heard this before. In the ’80s, Congress passed identical illegal immigrant amnesty legislation. That was the last time they’d ever do it. They promised. But now is really the last, last time. Or so they claim, until the next time, which will be the last, last, last time. And so on.

To add insult to injury, Bush, with the aid of Arab-American Congressmen, like Hezbollah mega-fan Darrell Issa (a/k/a Jihad Darrell) (R-California) and Nick Joe Rahall (D-WV), have repeatedly passed legislation to make it easier for undesirables to immigrate to this country.

Why is Bush doing this? That’s easy. We are being shamelessly henpecked by Mexican President Vicente Fox and a host of pro-immigration radical Muslim groups operating within our borders. They know that the amnesty program doesn’t differentiate between Mexican illegals and those who pledge loyalty to Al-Qaeda while planning homicide bombings and other terrorism.

Instead of thinking, “Gee, the Census reported at least 100,000 illegal Middle Eastern immigrants, all of whom are potential terrorists,” White House political director Ken Mehlman and senior Bush political advisor Karl Rove took Tancredo to the woodshed.

Rep. Tancredo, head of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, complained that Bush’s “open door” border could lead to more terrorism on our shores. “Then the blood of the people killed will be on this administration and this Congress.”

If we do not listen to Tancredo, President Bush will help make this country into a nation ruled by radical Islam-maybe even democratically elected, at first.

That’s France’s problem. With few controls on immigration, there are now between 5 and 10 million Muslim Arabs in that country of 60 million. The range in numbers of Muslims there is so vast because nobody knows for sure exactly how many there are. One thing is for sure: in the next 50 to 100 years-maybe sooner-France will become a Muslim nation. Demographics dictate it.

There is a reason Yasser Arafat’s wife, Suha, and daughter reside in safety and comfort in France. The country is dominated by Arab Muslim immigrants from North African countries–Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. Tunisia, by the way, was home to Arafat and his terrorists for much of his pre-Palestinian Authority exile.

Remember Zaccarias Moussaoui, now standing trial as the would-be 20th hijacker of 9-11? He’s a French national of Algerian descent. (Last summer, before 9-11, French intelligence warned the FBI that he received training in Al-Qaeda camps. But while in France, he was untouched by those same authorities-just as his computer hard-drive was untouched by our authorities prior to 9-11, due to an over-abundance of Bush political correctness.)

Right now, Islam is the second largest religion in France. There would be nothing wrong with that, if it were a moderate form of Islam, such as Sufism. But the raging anti-Semitism and violent crime-wave of gangs that has accompanied the increase in Muslim immigration and birth in France is illustrative of radical Islam. Don’t like the wilding of New York’s Central Park thugs, or the gangs of South Central? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Come to France’s city of Roubaix, which The Atlantic’s Christopher Caldwell nicknames “The Harlem of France.” With over 40 percent immigrants, mostly Middle-Eastern, unemployment is 26 percent, crack and other drug use is high, and so is welfare dependence. The unions, controlled by “Maghrebians” (North Africans, ie., Arabs) only hire Maghrebians. Violence rules.

Aside from the massive Arab Muslim immigration, there is French reproduction. It’s no coincidence that France was one of the first countries to use RU-486. Its non-Muslim Arab population practices birth control like nobody’s business. They are not reproducing much. Contrast that with the high birthrate of Muslims in France, most of whom are religious and do not use birth control.

None of these factors is exclusive to France. They can, will, and already have been exported to the U.S. due to lax immigration restraints. That is why groups like the Dearborn, Michigan-based Arab American Political Action Committee-a group whose officials support homicide bombers–stressed relaxed immigration policy as a requirement for endorsing candidates at all levels. That included endorsed candidate George W. Bush, who fiercely competed with Al Gore for that endorsement.

It is also why groups like Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)-a Hamas front-group, according to former FBI Counterterrorism Chief Oliver “Buck” Revell-support weak immigration restraints. In 1993, CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told the Minneapolis Star Tribune, “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.”

Similarly, Islamic Society of North America President and Hamas supporter Muzammil Siddiqi, said, “Allah’s rules have to be established in all lands, and all our efforts should lead to that direction.” (Pakistan Link, “Issues and Questions,” Oct. 18, 1996). He’s the one who delivered the Muslim prayer at the National Cathedral Service and then hung out with the President at the White House, just after 9-11.

President Bush is a little too comfortable with radical Islamists who support free immigration to the U.S. with subversive motives. Like he said, “You’re either on our side or the terrorists’ side.”

I know on which side Congressman Tancredo is. The question is, on whose side is President Bush?

America must not become La Prochaine (Next) France.

Neither the Bush nor the Obama administration will release the part of the 9/11 committee report which details Saudi funding of 9/11 hijackers. This was effectively a Saudi government run operation, but Bush and Obama (and Clinton) are very tight with the Saudis, and don’t want to “embarrass” them.

Great stuff, Debbie! Enlightening to see that at one time you (no criticism, I used to believe it, too) thought sufism was “moderate Islam”.

Uighurs= Sufis
Chechens= Sufis

Guess not…

Your flashback article was a very early prescient warning, to say the least. CNN keeps “reporting” that this type of situation could never happen in the US! This is because in the US the Muslim population identify as Americans. Such complete lunacy!

They also say “they can’t yet definitively confirm that Jews were targeted, the grocery may have been a random choice to attack”. Really??? Just a coinky dink…sure. Almost a day doesn’t pass that Jews aren’t targeted somewhere in France. In the last 10 days, a Jewish man was beaten by a gang of Islamists on a bus and a young Jewish teenage girl was raped by another gang of Muslim terrorists. I’m sure that there were many more incidents that I didn’t read about.

And now, more disassembling by the Republicans.

Most of their comments seem to be centered around the cartoons. They are criticizing the mainstream media for not publishing the cartoons. Cruz has made this criticism, along with a number of pundits associated with Fox News.

All well and good. Of course the cartoons should be published. But that is not the main issue here. The main issue is the failure to defend our country against illegal aliens, terrorists, etc. We let them in, we don’t monitor them while they’re here, we pander to them, and this is the main issue that must be confronted if we are to be secure.

Yes the cartoons should have been published, but compared with the measures needed to preserve our security, clearly a secondary issue.

America already became France on 9/11. Nothing done at the root of the problem then either, and FYI t’s a word that begins with a capital ‘I’ and ends with ‘slam’!
You are right Little Al. As usual the politicians, media, etc. are sidestepping the issue.
    …everybody, Hey Look!…a DISTRACTION!!!

‘America already became France on 9/11.’

      What does this even mean?

I know you people blame the French for everything but even so…

Juliette on January 9, 2015 at 11:43 pm

It means that like so much of the French we have become complacent liberals who ignore the real problems with the world around us. We lost so many more than 12 lives on 9/11 to the same people that murdered yours. Blaming the French?…no. How could we? We set the precedent on 9/11. We…did…nothing.

theShadow on January 10, 2015 at 1:00 am

We should definitely be concerned about a right wing backlash against muslims and multiculturalism. Or at least, that’s what the media is telling us to do. Of course, it makes perfect sense, right?: Fear the ones who MIGHT possibly do something, in response to terrorist attacks against them, NOT the ones who have already PROVEN a propensity to slaughter other human beings.

As Dr. Savage says, “Liberalism is a mental disorder.”. There can be no other explanation.

Tribuckeye on January 9, 2015 at 5:47 pm

The tragedy is that it’s impossible to elect anyone like Tom Tancredo, who was the only clear thinking person on both the immigration as well as the Muslim issue. There will be a lot more Paris like attacks before we start cracking down!
