Obama’s Israel Embassy Doing “Olive Tree Recon” for Palestinian Muslim Terrorists; Risks American Lives – Remember Benghazi?
Barack Obama’s U.S. Embassy in Israel has a new mission: protecting Palestinian weeds.
When you think of the U.S. Embassy in Israel (or any other country, for that matter), you don’t think its function is to seek out and protect olive tree saplings allegedly planted by Islamic terrorism supporters on disputed land they’ve usurped. But you would be wrong. Barack Obama’s U.S. Embassy in Israel thinks its mission is to protect olive tree saplings planted by Palestinian Muslims on land that isn’t theirs.
Over the weekend, a bunch of headlines once again condemned “Jewish settlers” on the “West Bank.” Yaaawn. The Wall Street Journal’s print edition headline was, “West Bank Attack Targets Americans” (the online version has a softer headline). Their crime this time? Well, they are alleged to have pelted a U.S. Consulate security vehicle with stones near a Jewish settlement on the so-called West Bank. In reality, only two stones were thrown, by the way. But the question is, what was the U.S. Consulate convoy doing there? Well, it was there to “investigate” and “protect” saplings planted by Palestinians on and near the Jewish settlement from being uprooted.
HUH?! How the heck is this a function of the U.S. Embassy in Israel? Do we see the U.S. Embassy in Brazil trekking to the Amazon to protect the Yanomami Tribes’ illicit drug crops and plantains? Does the U.S. Embassy in Rwanda drive a convoy to help protect the Tutsis’ plants from the Hutus? This is absurd and not the business of a diplomatic embassy on foreign land.
And, um, does anyone remember the name of that Libyan city, Benghazi? I mean, didn’t our embassy officials–including the Ambassador!–just get murdered, along with security? Why are U.S. Embassy officials now risking their lives to go check out some Palestinians’ plants? Why are they messing with and taking sides in a dispute? And why are they siding with Islamic terrorists and their supporters? Ask a single one of the planters of these olive tree saplings to condemn HAMAS. Good luck with getting even one of them to do it.
Did it matter to U.S. Embassy officials that these olive trees and, in fact, olive tree orchards, have been used to shield Palestinian Muslim terrorists who use these areas to hide and from which to emerge in order to engage in their mass murders of Israeli families on Jewish settlements? Nope. The U.S. Embassy, still NOT located in Israel’s capital of Jerusalem, has taken sides long ago. They hate Israel. They hate Jews. These are State Department pan-Arabist, pan-Islamic goons who wish there were no Israel. Hey, just like the Palestinian olive tree sapling planters! And just like . . . HAMAS.
Another interesting issue is that the two American diplomats in the convoy were headed to the Palestinian village of Turmosaya [also spelled, “Turmusaya”] to speak with villagers, many of whom, the Wall Street Journal reports, are “American citizens.” Hmmm . . . “oppressed Palestinians” are really American citizens who get American benefits. How did so many Turmosayans get to be Americans? Well, birthrate tourism. As I’ve told you in the past, thousands of Muslim women come here, especially to the Detroit area, to have their babies here, courtesy of you via Medicaid, and to get their kids U.S. citizenship. As I previously reported on this site, back in 2000, the U.S. Embassy reported that as many as 40,000 of Ramallah’s then one million residents had U.S. citizenship. And guess what? They vote . . . for Obama, for Hillary, or even for Elizabeth Warren.
More (and as you read this, ask yourself why a convoy of U.S. diplomats is escorted by a “Palestinian escort” and guided by Palestinians and how “safe” that is; also ask yourself why the Israeli government was NOT notified of this “mission” by U.S. officials):
A group of Israeli settlers pelted a U.S. consulate security vehicle with rocks near a West Bank settlement during a visit Friday to investigate allegations that olive trees belonging to Palestinians had been uprooted, according to U.S. and Israeli officials. The confrontation between U.S. guards and armed settlers—the first of its kind in recent memory—didn’t result in any injuries.
A consulate spokesman said the U.S. is “deeply concerned” by the incident, and that the U.S. is offering video footage to aid in the Israeli investigation. Photographs provided by a Palestinian escort showed the black U.S. consulate vehicle, a Chevrolet Suburban, with a dent on the hood and scarred on the side from the melee. . . .
Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said that authorities are investigating the confrontation, but noted that the U.S. delegation had not coordinated the visit with the Israeli army before venturing out to the site. The U.S. delegation had come to the olive grove to investigate a report that Jewish settlers had uprooted thousands of olive tree saplings a day before. A Palestinian resident of the nearby village of Turmusaya, who witnessed the confrontation while guiding the U.S. security detail, said settlers placed barriers in the road and a group of them started throwing dozens of rocks at the vehicle.
“There were about 10 to 12 guys, they started to throw rocks on the car,’’ said Said Raibe, the guide. “ . . . Guys from the consulate security got out of the car, and tried to talk to them.”
Um, if it was that unsafe, they would not have gotten out of the car to talk to them. You wanna see unsafe? Get out of your car and try to talk to ISIS . . . or “just” HAMAS.
The consulate spokesman declined to comment on what the settlers were carrying, and denied media reports that the security guards had drawn their weapons during the confrontation. Mr. Rosenfeld, the police spokesman, said only two stones were thrown.
The guards were serving as a security detail for two consular officials who were in another vehicle far enough away not to have witnessed the confrontation. The diplomats were there to follow the economic situation of the Palestinian villagers at Turmosaya, many of whom are American citizens. The Israeli army called in soldiers to calm the situation, and the diplomats canceled the visit.
“The U.S. government follows economic and political issues in the West Bank very closely,” State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said in Washington. “We are working with Israeli authorities in their investigation of the incident, including by offering to provide video footage taken during the incident. We take the safety and security of U.S. personnel very seriously. The Israeli authorities have also communicated to us that they acknowledge the seriousness of the incident and are looking to apprehend and take appropriate action against those responsible.”
Um, those responsible are the moronic U.S. Embassy officials who decided their mission was to “investigate” olive trees for Palestinian Muslim terrorism supporters.
So, the question shouldn’t be: why are Israelis or Jews attacking American embassy officials? It should be: why the heck are the U.S. Embassy and its Consulate using American dollars to aid the Islamic war against the Jews?
And if they do take the side of Islamic terrorists, why should they be immune in the war?
Why did we just spend over a decade in Iraq and Afghanistan to take up arms against Islamic terrorists and give American lives and limbs for that cause . . . while we use American diplomatic resources to side with those Islamic terrorists against our Jewish allies in Israel?

Excellent article. I wonder how many Jews who voted for Obama had any clue how rabid his hate is for Israel? Maybe they were ‘ignorant’ during his 1st election but how could they have been so deluded during his 2nd election? I do wonder what they think of Obama & his State Dept. after last summer’s war? The State Dept. has always been polluted with “Pan-Arabist Goons”, as you so rightly described them but I do not remember any other administration that has so actively made their hate for Jews front and center. Maybe, I’m wrong about that?
