“Post-Racial” Season’s Greetings From Ferguson

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s trite but true: a grand jury would indict even a ham sandwich. And yet a grand jury that met for 25 days over three months didn’t indict Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson. And this with race-obsessed professional racist, Attorney General Eric Holder, pulling the strings, running the show, and breathing down their necks.

darrenwilson

fergusonseasongreetings

So, what does America–“post-racial” America with Obama (the false declarer of the claimed state of post-racialism) as President–get in response? Despite Obama’s empty lip service pleas, the predictable race riots, 150 gun shots, none of them from police–police and a National Guard who were essentially castrated into tear gas users. Gunfire so bad a no-fly zone had to be instituted like a war zone in Afghanistan or Iraq.

The photos showed Wilson was beaten and bruised. The testimony showed that many of the backers of Michael Brown, the “gentle [violent] giant,” didn’t actually see what they claimed they saw. They admitted to it and/or changed their stories. Still others were caught in lies and refused to change their stories in the face of concrete evidence and overwhelming testimony that Wilson was the victim, NOT Brown.

But, no matter what, don’t confuse the race mobs and their race merchants-in-chief with the facts. They don’t want to hear it. They’re too busy in “peaceful” protest burning down strip malls–many of which are filled with stores owned by their fellow minorities. Too busy setting police cars on fire and wilding all around because they want “justice” that consists of exactly non-justice.

Darren Wilson did everything right. He was a good and dedicated police officer who treated a criminal thug the way criminal thugs who try to beat police officers and may take their guns, should be treated. Black police officers treat Black criminals this way on the streets of Detroit and other urban settings every single day. But skin color is the ONLY thing that matters, that mattered here, in Obama’s “post-racial” America that is at the same time Eric Holder’s “cowards about race” America. We know who the cowards are. It’s the people burning and shooting up the streets like babies who didn’t get their way, “grown” babies equipped with high-tech killing toys.

We saw how the gang of “gentle giants” behaved last night. How they behaved for months in order to bully officials and the grand jury, etc.

But there should never have been a grand jury. And if skin tone of the beaten and bruised cop weren’t different from the aggressive now-dead criminal, there never would have been one. If the race merchants–from Jackson to Sharpton to Crump to, yes, HAMAS CAIR (which regularly ignores slavery of Blacks by Arab Muslims all over the world–many of these masters are CAIR patrons)–hadn’t whined in their regular grievance theater stage, there never would have been a grand jury.

Still, the grand jury inaction against Darren Wilson won’t help any. He’ll never get his life back. He’s had to do a disappearing act. He’ll never be able to be a cop again or set foot on the streets of Ferguson . . . or many other places in America. Darren Wilson followed his training and followed the law and did what he had to do to preserve his own life. And, yet, for many intents and purposes, that life is over, even though he is still alive. There are death fatwas against him. And always will be. And criminals went free. The Washington Post reported that a drug dealer Wilson arrested went free because Wilson–out of concern for his own safety–couldn’t appear in court to testify against him. So did other felons. Congrats, race mobs, you helped put another drug dealer and more violent criminals back on the streets to deal to your kids. But, hey, I guess that’s not a big deal if you can get Whitey.

The pictures and the testimony the grand jury saw (and we didn’t for months) said it all. But I didn’t need that to know the ultimate truth:

America is not better off without police officer Darren Wilson off the streets and now in fear and hiding.

But America is definitely better off without Michael Brown, the actually not-so-gentle giant.

****

One morning late last month, a St. Louis courtroom filled up with prosecutors, lawyers and press who wondered if they’d catch a glimpse of a vanished man. The man, police officer Darren Wilson, hadn’t been seen in public since Aug. 9, when he shot and killed an unarmed black teenager and found himself in a wave of national fury. But here, at this unrelated preliminary hearing, Wilson had incentive to appear. He’d been asked to to provide testimony against an alleged low-level drug dealer — somebody he’d wrestled to the ground and handcuffed 20 months earlier, in an arrest that won him a Ferguson city commendation. Now Wilson just had to recount the story to a judge.

The courtroom players took their places for just one in a series of rapid-fire hearings. A few minutes passed. The judge called the defense attorney and prosecutor into whispering range, and soon it became clear: Wilson wasn’t going to show, his absence emblematic of a remarkable period in which the central character of an explosive national story has gone totally dark. Judge Mary Schroeder then dismissed the drug case for what she called a “failure to prosecute.”

“The defendant and I, we walked out the door, said, ‘Thank you, Jesus,’ and shook hands,” said Nick Zotos, attorney for the defendant, Christopher Brooks. “You could not make that case without [Wilson].”With Wilson in hiding, some of what he accomplished on that force is being undone. Days after Wilson no-showed at the Brooks hearing, the St. Louis County prosecutors’ office said that several other pending felony cases were being dismissed because they “could not proceed without the testimony of Wilson.” . . .

With Wilson in hiding, some of what he accomplished on that force is being undone. Days after Wilson no-showed at the Brooks hearing, the St. Louis County prosecutors’ office said that several other pending felony cases were being dismissed because they “could not proceed without the testimony of Wilson.”

I repeat:

America is not better off without police officer Darren Wilson off the streets and now in fear and hiding.

But America is definitely better off without Michael Brown, the actually not-so-gentle giant.

Darren Wilson is a decent man – the kind of man who as a police officer does more than arrest suspects – he helps people and saves lives.

But in today’s America, thugs are elevated over heroes and good people are held in utter contempt.

The grand jury did the right thing – it refused to give in to a lynch mob. But for all that, the reasons Ferguson is burning has nothing to do with Wilson.

We live in a country bereft of G-d, of morals and of decent manners. That too, is an America Obama has done much to undermine and remake.

And we see what it looks like and its not a good sight to behold. Wilson may never again work as a cop and that to this country’s profound loss. Above all, the real victim of all this racial Kabuki theater is Black America itself.

As Debbie has pointed out, grand jury indictments are generally easy to get. However, after reading-up about this subject, I did not realize just how RARE grand juries had voted NOT to return an indictment. If past history is any guide, the odds of not getting an indictment are about 0.01%! (From 2009 to 2010, 11 grand juries out of 162,500 cases voted not to return an indictment.) That’s 1 out of 14,773! In a politically charged case like this one, where lives and property were threatened if a non-indictment result occurs, that makes the “no indictment” decision all the more powerful and meaningful.

Ralph Adamo on November 25, 2014 at 6:36 pm

It’s not Obama out there in the streets burning, looting, and throwing rocks at reporterettes.

Our ‘leaders’ ought to be blamed for not doing a very powerful job of standing up for truth and justice. But then, who elects these leaders?

Before anybody wants to call this a racial thing, let’s not forget that plenty of white liberals were on the wrong side in this one as well. Foolishness and amorality are not limited to black racist rabble rousers.

Burning and looting their own communities is what black racist trash does. Reality is a b*tch. What should be the bigger concern is how ‘authorities’ spent the last couple of months acquiescing to these evil, childish mobs.

Any one of us could be the next Darren Wilson or George Zimmerman. Left to defend our very life against a black criminal, and if unsuccessful: lost it. If successful: have it ruined.

PitandPen on November 25, 2014 at 8:36 am

This is the kind of Community Organizer activity that Huesein Obama knows. Obama and his type require there to be racial hatred and division. He stokes the fire of black hatred towards whites. And its the blind liberal white people who put him and his kind in office out of some ‘white guilt’ complex. The black community is taught by their Community Organizer leaders to foster a mentality of hatred toward whites and are taught to harbor resentment to this society.
Hugs,
Kare

My advice to Officer Wilson is to get out of this country and stay out. Not that he has done anything wrong nor has he acted in any other than an honorable way but the black racist Eric Holder is after him and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some sort of crappy federal indictment handed down. Unfortunately we’re still stuck with both Holder and Obama.

Welcome to the Kafka-eque 2014s. Where anyone can have their life irreparably blown to smithereens when they are innocent. Where the truth doesn’t matter, PC-nonsense is King and the character and intelligence of many are below whale sh** in the ocean. What a wonderfully scummy place it’s devolved into.

After all the holding back and farting around about the “news” (that was pretty elementary if one knew the facts) the chaos still ensued. That is because the powers that be knew it would and were going to let it happen. THAT is the America we have now. Obola-Putin will never be hurt from it, nor Nancy Pelosi, burn-victim-faced Valerie Jarrett or Samantha Power. The people who were done in by the effluvia in Ferguson are just the people the Democrat Party uses their stupid-ass trickery on for those fools to keep their Donk-asses in power. Imagine if those effing morons would wake up and have their brains start to sputter some spark? They would be smart enough to know they’re being used and abused and stepped on by self-indulgent frauds.

This is what it’s like to live in 2014. I go out and see more mentally ill nutters everywhere I go. People are more crazy and amazingly more stupid than ever. I know my photo says “Bogan Street”* but it should say “Bogan World” because that is what we are living in and I hate it!

*Bogan is another way of saying moron or idiot in Australian slang.

Skunky on November 25, 2014 at 10:18 am

There are times I come on this site and attempt to explain the mind state or point of view of the “hood”, but on this one I’m even baffled. Mike Brown was a ruffian and it was clear as day, video evidence. There were half-ass protest even in my city 1500 miles away, for what? The kid tried to take a cops gun, that tells me Mike Brown wanted to die, he was begging to get shot. I’m beginning to think that many Blacks will just rally behind anything ” just because.” Is it that many want to feel connected to the 60s when there was reason to rally? As I stated above, I’m baffled, I have no answers, just throwing some mud against the wall to see what sticks. Geezus Chryse!

Misdirected energy, lawlessness and savagery that doesn’t help sociologically at all.

Something off topic, but iterates my confusion even more. I was on the gossip site and there was a article about Mayor Barry and the headline was “Crack Mayor” dead. The Blacks who committed especially from D.C are pissed, and defending the now dead mayor as if he was Ghandi. I’m thinking this man was busted tricking with hookers and smoking crack, you voted him in twice, what do you think he will be remembered for? These people want Harvy’s blood. Too funny. They are angry. A mayor who gets caught making decisions like that, couldn’t be all that great. Is anyone from D.C, did he improve the city, or was he just a butt of every joke told? So yes I am baffled just as you are people.

The great divide continues. Educated vs uneducated? Idk

MrBigBrain on November 25, 2014 at 10:21 am

Big Dummy weighs in with this vapid vomitus, “Blacks will just rally behind anything…”

Do you think this is a “rally” (just like every other riot [or “wilding” that gets under-reported]?)

You’re a bigger moron than I thought – and that says a lot.

    DS_ROCKS on November 25, 2014 at 8:59 pm

The disappointment on Zippy’s face was sure evident when he was talking last night. I’m guessing that if he’s disappointed, then the right decision was reached.

DJH on November 25, 2014 at 10:49 am

I almost had to laugh watching the split screen of Obama calling for calm while at the same time people burning down a community. The saddest part is the people looting and burning only hurt themselves. They can not scream about having no jobs since they burned down many places of employment. They can not whine about a lack of goods and serves since they looted and burnt down these businesses.

After watching what has turned out to be a very good series so far (Gotham) I turn on to the news to see our doofus president do what he does best. It must have pained him to make that speech last night where he only mentioned Brown’s family and nothing about Officer Wilson. The Community Organizer-in-Chief once again stoked the fires of racial unrest instead of calming things down. Now we have fools burning down their own neighborhood. The grand jury for their part did a good job in not handing down an indictment. Those of us who took the time to follow the evidence instead of an agenda knew that Brown’s behavior lead to his death. What law abiding person goes into a store and thinks that it’s ok to steal and intimidate persons smaller and weaker than yourself. In my book that’s called being a bully. Now fast forward to his confrontation with Officer Wilson. According to Wilson’s sworn GJ testimony Brown was belligerent and physical with him. The photos above prove it. Yes I know racist ingrates like Sharpton, Crump, Jackson, Holder and O’Bogan (thanks Skunky) don’t do well with facts but they are stubborn things right. Also back to my point what law abiding person prevents a cop from doing his or her sworn duty going so far as assaulting him or her. Michael Brown wanted to be thug life and it cost him his own. I wish Officer Wilson and his new wife the best of luck going forward because thanks to the people noted above they’re going to need it.

Ken B on November 25, 2014 at 11:13 am

Thank you, Ken B! You said it, as you are always wont to do! & I love O’Bogan! That is too good!

I find nothing more embarrassing than crapping on arrogantly about something I don’t know much about but that doesn’t stop the un-embarrassed ignorant these days. Embarrassment about being devoid of facts stops NO BODY these days.

I detest that little, estrogen-filled fembot-ty vagina, oops I mean vegan! One would think he would be soooo embarrassed to tweet out something that is not a fact or being so bold as to announce he knows NOTHING about the case. Guess he was too busy being a hipster-doofus pervert and looking for gluten-free and and tasteless vegan food rather than knowing that “The Gentle Giant” bull-rushed the cop and not the other way around.

I’m so sick of the arrogant bogans! Nobody is embarrassed by being misinformed.

The price of justice? Apparently it is a 12-pack of malt liquor looted from the local party store and a barbecued police car. I wonder what the 911 response time will be for the next Ferguson emergency?

The collateral damage that should now be borne by outrageous US pimps and whores like Jesse Jackson and Sharpton, who both espouse to being reverends, is very noteworthy, and hopefully will finally seal their reprehensible demise, once and for all. But I doubt it.

Between the one blatant fraud who once headed up the Rainbow Coalition and misused money from it to surreptitiously pay the women who mothered Jackson’s out-of-wedlock child and whose Democrat Congressman namesake son is now in prison for political malfeasance, in Illinois; and the other MSNBC sonofabitch who incited vulnerable black Americans in the Tawana Brawley rape by white men hoax, among other similar cases of seditious opportunism; and as much as it is a dark day for the people of Ferguson MO, and even the parents of Michael Brown, these two provocateurs, specifically, should be shunned by not only white people, but by the African-Americans who have been railroaded into this mess, virtually, by them. They are the quintessential scourge that leads to societal bankruptcy. They should be charged with treason, for their actions; which have caused deaths, incalculable injuries, and great expense to innocent people across the nation, and, furthermore, paint America in a most degenerate light, domestically and internationally, but most of all, falsely.

They give religion and patriotism a tainted name that should not be tolerated by law-abiding citizens of any stripe, color and/or political persuasion. They are criminals and subversives who add nothing to the dignity of the law or its spirit.. Let there be no doubt about that. Will the grand jury of public opinion now sentence these two Benedict Arnolds to a life of perpetual misery, such as they have disgustingly been instrumental in foisting on others? That would be most appropriate. I think.

theoffaltruth on November 25, 2014 at 12:09 pm

I told a neighbor this morning that if this “gentle giant” had been ANTHING but black, most would have said, “Well, another dumbass got killed attacking a police officer. Such is life…or death.” No riots, no burning, no looting. People crying that poor Michael was unarmed. You go for an officer’s weapon, ugly things WILL happen. What if Good Ol’ Mike had taken Officer Wilson’s gun. Think HE was going to just had it back?!? I doubt the lying witnesses will get charged for obstruction of justice, but it would be appropriate.

WilliamMunny on November 25, 2014 at 12:57 pm

Why are people spending time discussing the Grand Jury’s decision not to indict? There are only four issues worth discussing:

1) The rhetoric, behavior and influence to riot of the race baiting merchants of hate, including but not limited to Jackson Sharpton and Dyson.

2) Why civilized people would riot like this (Are they civilized)?

3) This is a two parter.

Part 1) Why did Michael Brown’s parents (and other parents like them) raise their child in such a way that he became a thug?

Part 2) Why is no one criticizing Michael Brown’s parents for failing to raise their child properly.

4) Why were the race baiting merchants of hate allowed to force this to a grand jury? Normally these cases do not go that far.

I_AM_ME on November 25, 2014 at 1:05 pm

Hello I AM – yes, one thing that could have prevented this death, the subsequent riots, and further deaths, would be if all parents taught their children that stealing was wrong.

I would add another to your list of race-baiters: Obama.

Richard on November 26, 2014 at 10:04 pm

I mentioned via Twitter that there are 3 sides of the Ferguson story, with 2 of them being wrong.

At this point, one would surmise that in spite of his efforts, MLK failed the black community by not constantly re-iterating the need for discipline and allowing less reputable or reliable activists in his camp. Had he possessed a more iron fist inside a velvet boxing glove, you wouldn’t have punks and noisy slackers posing as “community leaders”.

I hope that saner heads can prevail, but not as long as people scream “entitlement”, “payback” and “victim” all over the place.

Just saying.

The Reverend Jacques on November 25, 2014 at 1:05 pm

If a Grand Jury could indict a ham sandwich, and it did not indict Darren Wilson, does that not mean the Grand Jury was rigged for an outcome that favored the white policeman who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager?

At Selma, there was no rioting, no burning of stores or anything else, no looting or shooting. It was real and it was effective.

What is the point of burning down your own community? and looting a Dollar Store, that is pathetic. Loot a Tiffany’s or Saks Fifth Avenue.

It seems 6 years of a black president has not improved much.

bobguzzardi on November 25, 2014 at 2:06 pm

This new building that we moved in has a tv playing in the kitchen, they keep it on cnn ( i notice that most public places keep the tv on cnn and not the other news networks, I think to be less controversial?) as I was walking they were showing Michael Brown stepfather standing atop of something screaming repeatedly “We are going to burn this bi*ch down” over and over again

So I_AM Me, there’s your parenting answer I suppose, well at least from the Stepfathers side.

MrBigBrain on November 25, 2014 at 2:08 pm

The Democrats were trying for a repeat of Trayvon Martin, which motivated blacks to vote in 2012. Some evil Democratic strategist thought that, if they found a situation similar to the Martin case, the ploy would work again. Clearly, it didn’t, and now they’re stuck with the nasty fallout.

I think Hillary Clinton would really like to put Brown to bed, and not have this drag on into 2016. It’s motivating whites, Hispanics, and even some blacks to run in the opposite direction.

Off topic: Grover Norquist endorsed Scott Walker. Unless Walker repudiates that endorsement, I’ll be looking elsewhere.

adam on November 25, 2014 at 2:26 pm

Unfortunately, we live in a bizarro world. Right is wrong and good is evil. It’s not just here in the U.S. It’s everywhere. The cops are viewed as being the bad ones. Israel is viewed as being oppressors and muslims are viewed as being good. I cannot figure out how or why we have become the way we are. Maybe it’s a function of simply having too many ignorant people in the world. Whatever the reason, it’s terrible and it does not bode well for our future.

Jeff on November 25, 2014 at 2:47 pm

Once again a legal decision is met with the usual rioting, burning, looting. It’s as predictable as Al & Jesse are. The “demonstrators” aka looting, leech, thugs) yell “JUSTICE” as they ransack a store. Theft = justice in the black community. Our family left Detroit in the summer of 1968. The prior summer was the reason for our departure from the once great city. As long as the black community keeps electing these inept, crooked, thugs to office, there will be more Detroit’s, Ferguson’s, Oakland/Compton’s, etc. But they don’t care. As long as the skin is black & the check arrives monthly.

MuzzCrusher on November 25, 2014 at 3:00 pm

Lived through Rodney King verdict, this reminds me of that. The looters are just looking for an excuse, they don’t care about justice, even as they chant it, they do care about “No Peace” though, as long as they get their free stuff and don’t end up in jail for their criminal acts

Dave in CA on November 25, 2014 at 3:03 pm

This Ferguson case clearly demonstrates that American society is as racist as ever–but not in the way that the race hustlers like the “Rev” Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson work so hard to disingenuously convey. And it starts at the “top”–with President Obama and his staff, who have done nothing to attack racism, but, on the contrary, have done a great deal of damage promoting it at every opportunity.

Yes, America is a racially sick society, as is the case in other nations as well. How else could a cop-killer like Mumia Abu-Jamal, who is black, kill Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, who was white, in cold blood–and then be declared a hero and a victim of racism?

(In France, on April 29, 2006, a newly paved road in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis was named Rue Mumia Abu-Jamal in his honor. That goes to show you just how sick and repulsive France is.)

If we had a real President as a leader, he would be making a speech like the one delivered by the judge played by Morgan Freeman, Jr. in The Bonfire of the Vanities. In that movie, based on Tom Wolfe’s novel of the same name, the mayor, the prosecutor, and the race hustlers want to convict an innocent man who happens to be white because a black youth was severely injured in a hit-and-run auto accident.

(Interestingly, in the novel the judge was a Jew, but for the movie, the filmmakers thought that there would be more balance to the racial issues of the book by making the judge black. But the movie still flopped, and I believe that the reason it flopped was because the public didn’t like being shown the real racism that exists in our society; the kind that seeks punishment of the Darren Wilsons of our society when they do their jobs.)

Here’s the speech near the end of The Bonfire of the Vanities after the mob is angry that the case against the white man accused of the crime is dismissed:

Burning cars, destroying stores (something that may drive shopowners into bankruptcy) aren’t forms of “protest,” those are tools of social engineering. Bringing chaos into a society is one of the Left’s favorite tools to impose leftist goals. By the way, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Obama’s Department of Justice begins a federal witch hunt against Darren Wilson based upon some “hate crime” legislation.

I sent a text to some Black friends of mine, and asked “Whats wrong with your people” I usually get a LoL, back, but not today.
I was sent back, How come you don’t think it was wrong to shoot him?”

What did it for me, was the strong arm robbery. That strong arm robbery in the convenient store, shows state of mind-Anger, Attitude-Violent, Combative, Mentality-Criminal. I think once you see the video, Mike Brown loses all support and credibility.

After you see the video, how can you not think he went for the officers gun, that he struggled with the cop, How? There was nothing gentle about that, nothing at all, it goes to show you that people can see the exact same thing and still remain illogical and un-reasonable.

If he was such a gentle giant kind college bound kid, what changed? What made this kid wake up in the morning and become a raving savage thug overnight, did he break up with his gf, was he kicked of a football team, had he been scolded and punished by his parents, did he just watch a marathon of Roots? There had to be a catalyst, right, since its so out of character?

See there is none of that, nothing, just raging madness, violent nonsensical behavior that lead to his own death. Darren Wilson was on the hunt for Black youth that day, how come he didn’t attempt to shoot the other kid?

I don’t think Mr. Wilson talked to the kids all politely when he told them to get out the street, he definitely felt challenged, but everything else falls in line, his crime partner says Brown took steps towards him, Wilson says Brown did a Geddy Up and started sprinting, so again somewhere in the middle, but he was coming towards him, again, the video, Brown loses all support.

MrBigBrain on November 25, 2014 at 11:41 pm

During the rioting of the 60s, a Law and Order movement arose, although Nixon fraudulently benefited from it. Today politicians are so cowed that you don’t even hear any of them, maybe with one or two exceptions condemning the lawless violence.

The reaction of the mindless celebrities is incredible, although I’ll acknowledge that some part of these comments represents marketing considerations.

How many ways is lawlessness praised by our political and intellectual communities?

Little Al on November 26, 2014 at 3:32 am

As if nothing else is new, just the other day David Horowitz – who only last year declared George Zimmerman guilty in the Trayvon Martin shooting, before the Florida jury exonerated him – was proclaiming viz the Ferguson mob riots that this shows how, and the extent to which, the Left is in solidarity with our enemies abroad and criminal elements at home. Duh…? Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this. Coming from Horowitz’ mouth, however, it reeks of hypocrisy.

I am sorry that I initially missed this article. Officer Wilson has now been forced to resign without severance pay or any benefits. For doing his job, he received the reward of an outcast. Officer Wilson is being treated like a criminal rather than those who have perpetrated acts of destruction and mayhem in Ferguson and elsewhere in the name of Michael Brown.
