Michael Savage Attacks Jews, Yom Kippur, Israel; Praises Islam, Muslims

By Debbie Schlussel

Why is Michael Savage attacking Judaism and religious Jews and praising Islam and Muslims?

savagenation

yellowstar.jpgswastika.jpg

Last week, on the eve of Yom Kippur, Savage attacked Judaism, mocked the Jewish fast day, and made fun of Jewish prayers. At the same time, he continued his phony tune that he’s had for at least a month, in which he continues to call Islam “one of the world’s great religions” and insists that ISIS isn’t Islamic and is just a perversion of Islam and not anything like what most Muslims believe, when it is exactly that. He’s also said that Israel is behind ISIS, and in that he thinks just like the conspiracy theorist Jew-haters that populate the Islamic world.

When I was on Michael Savage’s nationally syndicated radio show a few times, several years ago, my late father was dismayed. He warned me that Savage was a self-serving, egomaniacal nut who was all over the map and didn’t make sense. Well, per usual, father knows best. As I told you a while ago, Savage went off the deep end, long ago. He turned into nutty Alex Jones with a New York accent. He’s frequently had on openly anti-Semitic commentators, such as Paul Craig Roberts, who insisted–without disagreement from Savage–that Barack Obama, Susan Rice, and Hillary Clinton are “neocons, who all have dual Israeli citizenship.” Roberts also blamed all of America’s foreign policy problems on the Jews, with no disagreement from Savage. Do I need to tell you that is absolutely false? Do I need to tell you that this is the same kind of hokum you’ll hear at the David Duke Fan Club Klan Kostume Kontest? Who needs Mel Gibson, when you have the “Savage Nation”?

So, on Thursday, as I was driving back from a meeting in downtown Detroit, I listened in dismay as Michael Savage laughed at observant Jews and read from our prayers in the Yom Kippur prayer book, mocking them as absurd. He attacked what we wear to synagogue on that day, and he went on and on and on in a way you might hear on the local Arabic-language jihadist radio show. And, yet, Savage has plenty of Jewish listeners who couldn’t care less about his anti-Semitism, his open self-hatred. Yes, I know Savage is a JINO (Jew In Name Only), but he is an anti-Semite. Make no mistake. The stuff he said about Jews and Yom Kippur wouldn’t be tolerated if it were about Islam.

And, yes, Savage has bent over backwards over the last month or two, praising Islam and its followers and taking great pains to sound exactly like Barack Obama in saying that ISIS isn’t Islamic and that real Muslims don’t behave that way. Really? Ever seen how HAMAS and Hezbollah and the governments of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates behave? Ever seen the honor killings and beheadings practices by Muslims all over the Western world? ISIS is EXACTLY how Muslims behave. Very typical, in fact.

But why point that out when Savage has attacking Jews on his agenda?

Savage has said more than once in the last few weeks that Israel helped create ISIS as an excuse to take out Assad, which doesn’t even make sense because one has very little to do with the other. Assad is opposed to ISIS But it’s an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory popular in the Muslim world, as all anti-Semitic conspiracy theories like it are. And, these days, Michael Savage has a lot in common with that world. Less in common with decent, sane Americans. Savage is not a conservative. Just a demagogue who once had a weird, skinny-dipping relationship with the late, openly gay Allen Ginsberg. But Savage found a way to make money spouting what he thought people wanted to hear. Now that he has this national show and is in his winter years, he says what he really believes. And when it comes to Jews and Israel, he’s in the same tent as the most extremist of imams.

Savage has also said–as his evidence that most Muslims are good people–that Muslim restaurants need the Jews as customers. (He says this because he’s fawned over at some San Francisco area Persian restaurant.) Um, not really. Actually, not at all. Go anywhere in the United States, and while you’ll find some moronic Jews (who put their stomachs before their brains) eating at terrorist-supporting Muslim restaurants, such as Al-Oumara in West Bloomfield, Michigan, most Muslim restaurants have largely Muslim and Gentile customer bases. Regardless, it’s irrelevant and anecdotal and doesn’t do a thing in the face of overwhelming evidence that most Muslims choose extremism as their religion is inherently extremist, from their koran to their Hadith, to their imams. It’s just the way it is, shishkabob or not.

I’m told by those in the know in the radio biz that Savage, who eats on the air and sometimes slurs his words, has come to work drunk and done his show off the wagon. But he seems very sober and aware in his hatred attack Jews and defending Muslims.

Moreover, aside from the fact that he’s a kook, you have to wonder what Cumulus was thinking giving him a national slot in what is afternoon drive time for most of the country. He plays music that you’d have to be in your late 70s and early 80s to remember. That’s why 25-54 ratings for Savage’s show continue to fall. In Detroit, WJR is not even in the top 15 stations in that key demo, whether it’s during Savage’s show, Rush Limbaugh’s show, or the boring, irrelevant shows of any of the other old fogies on that station. Confucius say, if a tree fell in the forest but no one was there to hear it, did it make a noise? That’s WJR. Nobody is listening. At least nobody who isn’t in AARP’s and Depends’ prime demo.

If you are a decent American, you won’t support Michael Savage a/k/a Michael Weiner, whether it’s patronizing his advertisers or buying his new book.

That book, “Stop the Coming Civil War,” has an ironic title given the anti-Semitic, self-hating, pro-Muslim author. He isn’t doing a thing to stop a civil war. He’s provoking one. And he’s on the wrong side.

Just a few years ago, the UK wouldn’t allow Savage in because the country said he was too anti-Muslim. But he’s done a 180. And, now, his Jew-hating conspiracy theories will fit right in there.

There is nothing “savage” about this guy at all. He’s just the weiner he always was.

Debbie: Michael Weiner (“savage”) is an attention-craving infant. Do not feed the beast by giving him the publicity he seeks, i.e., saying he attacks Israel, and promotes Islam. He LOVES it when people talk about him this way. What really gets to him is when you announce what he really is: “MICHAEL SAVAGE: INFINTILE, ATTENTION-CRAVING NITWIT.” With this more accurate headline, you will illicit the proper emotional response from Weiner. You should also challenge the nitwit to a debate and threaten to kick the sheis out of the nitwit, and expose him as too cowardly to go head-to-head with you. Of course, Weiner will then invite you on, but be prepared for him to immediately silence you the minute he starts losing–which would happen within literally minutes–given his blatant ignorance. But as long as you lay in your points thick and fast, he won’t stand a chance.

Of course, your spelling should be better than mine. Meant “infantile.”

Ralph Adamo on October 6, 2014 at 6:34 pm

Also it is elicit not illicit. Haven’t listened to Savage in quite a while. Is he still ranting against Israel? I ask because he seems to have found favor with friends of mine who are not anti-Israel.

Michael Savage is someone who is desperately trying to find an audience, as his show ratings collapse. He has gone the way for Art Bell.

Worry on October 6, 2014 at 7:03 pm

This sort of thing is not new for Savage. For years, when he wanted to masquerade as a social conservative, he claimed that the loose morality that we are all against is just fodder for the Muslims with what he says is their high standards of morality. He would say that provocative clothing, etc. gives the Muslims ammunition to attack our culture.

I think talk radio in general is in eclipse. More and more, people are realize that most of them are just shills for the Republican establishment, and they are sick of this stuff.

I take the views of older people seriously though. Especially with the progressive dumbing down that has taken place for the last half century now, the over-65 population is more likely to have had traditional education and upbringing than the younger people who in many schools and parts of the country have been brought up in PC environments and have never really experienced, in larger and larger proportions, the traditions that made this country great.

Like Oprah said in so many words, and now echoed by Zeke Emanuel, the liberals are enthusiastically waiting for them to die off.

Little Al on October 6, 2014 at 7:13 pm

I agree talk radio has its place in this country.

A lot of it is entertainment and Savage is not a serious political commentator, he’s an entertainer with a screw loose. Rush Limbaugh is is someone more mainstream but he too, entertains.

People should not make more of them then they are or give their views more weight than they warrant.

And with Savage, his views are crank, downright preposterous and don’t make a lick of sense. That’s why G-d gave us brains.

Bottom line: treat talk radio hosts exactly like you treat the rest of the media, with appropriate skepticism and know when they’re pulling over you a fast one.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 8:15 pm

Many, many years ago I was urged to listen to him. At the time I had never heard of him, so I tuned in one day. Irrespective of his content, I never considered him the least bit entertaining and never listened to him again.

#1 Vato on October 6, 2014 at 8:00 pm

He was always a crank. But increasingly, he’s become deranged – it wouldn’t surprise me to see him convert to Islam.

No decent conservative or decent American should have anything to do with Michael Savage.

Proof if you need it, people like him fall off the wagon. But that’s their choice.

NormanF on October 6, 2014 at 8:05 pm

The reason I am frustrated with talk radio is that it really does have potential to mobilize a viable conservative movement in this country.

While I like being entertained, I would really like to see the hosts take up, consistently, some of the issues that really need to be taken up, like foreign policy, affirmative action, cleansing our country of illegals, etc.

It seems as though the fools on talk radio and those who listen to it mutually reenforce each other.

Little Al on October 6, 2014 at 8:26 pm

Don’t blame talk radio for the inability to “mobilize the conservative movement”. Place that blame on the alleged conservatives, who are more concerned with carting their eight year old daughter to cheerleading practice four nights each week and watching American Idol, than they are paying attention, listening to talk radio, voting against self-serving, socialist scum, like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, et al, or even realizing that their freedoms are being eroded each and every day.

Trigeek on October 7, 2014 at 11:19 am

Every once in awhile he will jump in to defend any comments made against Barrack such as last week a caller said Obama was on the side of muslims and Savage went nuts explaining “but that doesn’t mean he’s a terrorist, lets not go to far afield.”

THE MANGOG on October 6, 2014 at 8:29 pm

“Just a few years ago, the UK wouldn’t allow Savage in because the country said he was too anti-Muslim. But he’s done a 180. And, now, his Jew-hating conspiracy theories will fit right in there.”

The UK also wouldn’t allow a certain car-loan fraudster (who shall remain nameless) in the country, likewise branding her “too anti-Muslim” – ironic, considering the scheme she had been engaged in (before jumping like a typical opportunist onto the “anti-jihad” bandwagon) involved Muslim straw buyers.

But as to Savage: Prior to his showing his true colors in this regard (and “turning Alex Jones”), there were warning signs even when he was at his ratings peak. Whenever the subject of Jonathan Pollard came up, for example, Savage would yell and scream that he was against Pollard’s release and that Pollard should rot in jail the rest of his life – in effect joining in with the other Jew-haters on that issue – and repeating the usual canards they circulate to justify their opposition. And this while Savage was masquerading as “pro-Israel.”

I have not listened to one of his shows with a consider amount of time to really have an opinion of the guy, it had always been in passing and I believed I always changed the station, it was a while ago since I’ve heard him last, so I’m not completely sure, however, I was always under the belief he was a conservative guy.

At any rate, If Debbie says he sucks, then I’m going to trust her judgement and feel good about not ever taking the time out to listen to him. Sounds like an insincere, disingenuous and a FRAUD! (As Skunk would say)

His opinion that Muslims are ok people. The reason I’ve had so many scathing opinions of them recently, I had to deal with an Iranian recently because of work, nah, they aren’t good people.

I enjoyed his show years ago when he was espousing “borders, language and culture”as defining this country. And I liked his view that “liberalism is a mental disorder”,however I haven’t listened to his show in quite awhile and now I’m glad I haven’t.

It makes perfect sense. As long as sunnis are killing Shias, nobody has the time to oppose Israel.

It’s Islamic State not ISIS. That’s what they call themselves, why don’t you get with the program?

Also everybody knows Islamic State were created by the misguided notion that Arabs will ever be able to handle something remotely resembling democracy known as the Arab Spring.

One of the worst presidents in American history gave that his special attention and everybody knows he doesn’t have a very big attention span so that’s a big deal.
Huge financing from Qatar and a helping hand from Erdopig in Turkey – ongoing.
Of course who could forget probably the most important contribution – Saudi Wahhabi Islamic teachings exported across the globe.

Not that facts matter to you anyway.

I occasionally have listened to him on the way back from work, but I’ve stopped because, like Debbie says, he is all over the place and never makes any consistent sense. He has that inconsistent behavior typical of alcoholics and drug addicts.

One day he pretends to be pro-Israel and has a pro-Israel guest. The next day he is blatantly anti-Israel. Also, he claimed he has not been to Israel since the late 70’s. With the money he makes, his personal boycott of Israel is proof that he is anti-Israel.

DS_ROCKS! on October 7, 2014 at 10:30 am

The main thing to know about Savage is that he is all about selling his books. That’s the be-all and end-all of his show. He often says inflammatory and contrary things just to provoke reactions and, above all, gin up hysteria for his book. For that reason, you have to take with a huge grain of salt anything he says. Hardly a minute goes by without him telling us the title and he often spends whole segments reading from them. He started hawking his latest book a full 10 months before it hit the shelves.
Unfortunately, almost every radio host who writes a book does the same thing and I read that audiences have shrunk dramatically in the last couple of years. Until the syndicators put a stop to this abuse of the airwaves, talk radio will continue to die.

John S on October 7, 2014 at 10:56 am

John, you are right but you just reminded me of something else…Glenn Beck (his show is on Satellite…another shyster if there ever was one and a more ANNOYING one than even Savage) does the same thing. At least Michael Savage gives his books away to his abused audience in abundance…Glenn Beck is so bloody cheap he don’t give NOTHING out for free. Not even when he harasses people at least WORKING on Friday mornings for his “Moron Trivia”. (I think people are morons but I think it’s awful to bother people WORKING…he should call up single mothers on welfare for his game…then it would be fitting he gives ’em NOTHING!)

Beck is a maudlin FRAUD! He’s sickening. Savage gives his books out for free but I have never, ever heard Beck even give out a bookmark!

What has happened to the representatives of REAL Conservatives?

    19Skunky on October 7, 2014 at 12:52 pm

Savage will not “admit” to being Jewish. That says it all.

skzion on October 7, 2014 at 11:14 am

Austrian Chancellor in the ’70s Bruno Kraisky never admitted to being Jewish, he named himself “citizen of the world” hoping that will eliminate any Anti Semitic ensue does towards him. Yet just 1 look at his face/eyes, it became obvious he was a Jew. The same with that Radio show blubberer Savage.
The eyes of a Jew always “gave him away” ….you can change your name to Rodem or Clinton…your eyes will spell your real name, be it Gold or Mandelbaum.

NormanF on October 7, 2014 at 12:13 pm

You heard right, DS! I remember that show, too! And I bristled and I am not even Jewish!

Savage is indeed a narcissist. If one can’t see it by now, you need to see a neurologist. It’s just me, me, me all the time. It’s sickening. I have him on as background (his show plays late at night here) and don’t even hear what he says. I’m not missing anything.

DS nailed it on his equivocation on Islam. It annoyed me all summer long (when I actually heard him expound on it and it was quite a bit!). Why (I have wondered) would anyone buy his book on the Civil War when he won’t even see Islam as one should? That’s a deal breaker from the word GO!

He also said waaaaay back in 2008 that Obama-Putin won’t be that bad. Oh yes, I remember that like YESTERDAY! I never forget it. He treats his staff like sh** too.

I had a mishap with my beloved iPod this spring so I have not listened to the radio shows I loved (and the only super-great one was cancelled a year ago “Quinn & Rose”–for political reasons, of course…) for so long. I’m very much rusty on many things due to it (and most shows SUCK today anyway!). The two shows I listen to are Levin and Savage. DS has long told why Levin is a fraud but what is absolutely humourous is that those two HATE each other but you can tell Levin listens to Savage EVERY. DAY. I am deeply amused by his love to listening to a dude he hates like poison. It’s just a funny scenario to me on a psychological level. I feel that way about Rachel Maddow but I never listen to HIS show! LOLOL!

Good on DS. She laid it out truthfully! Indeed! Nothing but shysters everywhere you look!

Don’t listen to Mikey Savage much. With what he’s saying now it’s kind of sad but not surprising because he is all over the map.

japple on October 7, 2014 at 3:49 pm

You know what Debbie and others, I don’t listen to Michael Savage’s show anymore (I stopped listening to him back in February with his hysteria and using relativism, etc.), and I’m thankful that I gave up on Savage. With him saying that “Israel created ISIS to overthrow Assad” is totally absurd and needs “evidence” to back up and ratify.

Since Savage made this BS claim, he needs to back up what he said by showcasing “legit” and “viable” sources for this accusation, otherwise, he’s just another wingnut and a conspiracy-monger. He (Michael Savage) did made another and similar claim about a year ago in August that “Israel is/was pulling Obama to occupy Syria”. Savage claimed that Israel was pushing the US for a military strike against the Syrians and hoping that actions will or might neutralize Assad’s regime/government, vice-versa. And I’ll give the direct quote of what Savage said:

“It’s Israel pushing the United States and England and France and Italy and Germany to strike [President Bashar] Assad. So it’s Israel that wants Assad’s air force neutralized.”

DS, I’m not the least surprised that Savage accused Israel’s government (and yes, Israel’s government is corrupt like all governments globally) of forming ISIS, last I’ve learned from independent and non-partisan sources that ISIS was created and funded by the “Saudis” and NOT Israel, so Michael Savage is full of sh*t in his analysis with complete fallacies!

Sean R. on October 7, 2014 at 4:10 pm

It’s probably true that Israelis were blasé at the time, that’s about the most you can say.
Savage I’m sure doesn’t have any evidence. Who needs evidence when you’re speaking to people who believe Jews control American foreign policy and the world?

Maybe I’m listening to a different Michael Savage than you guys. This guy is one of the most openly critical of radical Mooslims and willing to actually talk about the threat of Islam vs. the West.

I don’t think all conservatives see the world in a pro-Jew, anti-Jew prism. Among the conservative talk shows you get a plethora of complex views, and similarly among the listeners. So for a person to say things that aren’t 100% Israel propaganda hardly makes them an anti-Jew. Most conservatives aren’t Israelis or Jews. It’s a bit odd to radically attack them when they don’t espouse identical Israel or Jew viewpoints.

I have Savage’s shows from last week on podcast, but haven’t listened yet. I’ll check them out this week and see for myself. I just find it hard to believe he’s apologizing for muslims, Obama, or insulting Jews. Hell, he’s one of the few talk radio heads that ever discusses religion stuff at all. Even if it is more from a spiritual side than a particular denomination’s viewpoint.

P: No. More like you just aren’t listening. Period. He’s repeatedly attacked Jews and Israel and bent over backwards complimenting Islam and Muslims and differentiating them from ISIS. You need to wake up and hear what he’s actually saying, not what you remember him saying years ago and still wish he was saying. His attacks on Jews and our religion is NOT spiritual. It’s anti-Semitic. PERIOD. Stop making excuses for the unacceptable. DS

PitandPen on October 7, 2014 at 5:16 pm

Norman, I think you’ve gone overboard here. I’ve tried to a transcript where Savage “has bent over backwards over the last month or two, praising Islam and its followers and taking great pains to sound exactly like Barack Obama in saying that ISIS isn’t Islamic and that real Muslims don’t behave that way.”

That, of course, doesn’t mean that Debbie is wrong. I do not listen to Savage, and Google isn’t infallible. Nor is it all that difficult to make sure that interviews are not transcribed. If they are not, a search will be useless.

SKZ: I don’t make stuff up. He has bent over backwards over the last couple of months praising Islam, just as Norman says. You cannot find a transcript of this or most of his shows. Google doesn’t have them, period, so you wouldn’t find them. But it happened, repeatedly. You expect me to tape every radio show? I can’t even stand listening to it. DS

skzion on October 7, 2014 at 5:42 pm

Fair enough, Debbie. I have only watched Savage once (his TV show) and have heard him only a few times–long ago. I have always found him nauseating, even if I happened to agree with him.

I am sure that PitandPen is wrong and you are right. But I still think that Norman’s comment was a bit extreme given P&P’s usual comments here. Now if P&P were arguing that Savage was not an anti-Semite, that would be different.

Finally, I assume that anti-Semites are pro-Islam, and those who are pro-Islam are anti-Semites. This is logically necessary, but it sure does seem to be true in the world.

skzion on October 7, 2014 at 8:02 pm

Oh Debbie, please. I think you misunderstood him or maybe he was being sarcastic. I have never heard him say something anti-Jewish. Yes, he has criticized some Jews and Christians WHO NEEDED IT. I dont blame him for that. You’ve said plenty too in your time, woman.

Alright now on October 7, 2014 at 8:22 pm

I have to agree with you about this guys latest uptick in being a moron. I actually was entertained for a bit by the clown. I noticed quickly that he was a huge egomaniac. Constantly referring to himself and how great he is, how much he has accomplished in his life etc. Shut up and talk about something interesting would be good advice. I don’t listen much to him anymore so I missed his muslim fawning. A couple of weeks ago there was a pretty news active day and he came on and acted like a kid overwhelmed with his homework. He voiced his frustration with too many bad things going on and he just couldn’t take it anymore. What the hell, that’s his job to discuss things and give opinion but he sounded a little drunk and I thought I was the only one that thought this, now I realize I have company. I thought his 1600 am competition hit the mark a while back when Savage took a little time off when Thayrone stated he was tired of the mans boring self promo and book selling and poor choice of music that he always has on hand. I got to where I couldn’t listen to Hannity either, but Savage has lost me totally. He used to denigrate the civil servants pretty regularly as well, while tooting his own horn like when he compared his climb to the 3pm slot to crawling across broken glass.

Michael Savage is appalling. For a while, he displayed some wit and insight, even if crudely expressed. But he’s squandered it over the last several years. He’s just another Muslim admirer. As if Dinesh D’Souza, Paul Craig Roberts and David Stockman weren’t the essence of right-of-center Islamophilia, this Weiner dog may have them all beat.

Or just vanity turned sour through years when mainstream recognition was craved?

I trust Debbie’s account of what happened on Savage’s show (there were disturbing signs earlier, discussed on this site), but I am apprehensive about any replacement.

The Soros-organized Left makes and executes detailed long-term plans to, e.g. undermine “recalcitrant” state secretaries of state as a means to fraudulently swing close elections. No doubt comparable LONG-TERM programs are in place to take over and CO-OPT talk radio, one host at a time.

Just listened to the relevant sections in the YouTube recording of that show.

That man is battling his inner demons–in front of everyone. He is so mixed up and conflicted about himself. Where does one begin?

And he is dead wrong–factually dead wrong–about some pretty basic things…like Islam.

Which makes one’s jaw drop when he then attacks so many others for being backwards, stupid, uninformed, superstitious, etc…

What does that tell us? What he doesn’t realize is that onlookers can sort him out fairly easily and quickly by applying some basic principles of psychology.

It’s himself he loathes, not those he attacks. It’s that simple.

Professional jealousy that’s all. And Israel can take care of themselves. They’re smart IQ MENSA people and have h bombs. Does that make me a antitty Semite?

Professional and intellectual jealousy. Savage is a god.

To answer your question, Is, you are probably an anti-Semite, but you are definitely a moron. Savage a god? (I will omit detailed mention of your numerous grammatical errors.)

    Sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff.

Hmmmmmmm, no, can’t be peanut dust, probably just a lone antelope interloper. Don’t think a horde of elephants is headed here.

One more time. Sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff, performing check for Halal cart lamb on grill.

Hmmmmmmmmm, probably just a white liberal beetle.

Okay, I think I can put away the Mr. Clean and the mop. Gotta go.

I didn’t realize this about Savage. I was wondering whatever happened to him, as I have been unable to find him on the radio anymore and hadn’t heard about him in a couple of years. From DS’s report, it sounds like Savage has done a “Little Green Footballs” — like Charles Johnson, Savage’s “Inner Leftard” has come out of the closet, I guess.

Savage has always hit hardest at the decadent sectors of society: pervs, addicts, red diaper doper babies, Hollywood child molesters, (and a whole lot of) etc. It then makes sense he would allow for a favorable, relativistic attitude toward bigoted cultures whom share his revulsion for all things “a threat to America”.

T: You don’t make sense and neither does he. If he’s against sexual pervs and child molesters, he should be against Islam. But instead, he’s anti-Jewish. DS

Savage is a maniac. He should be arrested for treason. Shame on his producers.

Has anyone in the comment section actually listened to the show, I listeNed to the show that the author quoted Mr.Savage and I just want everyone to know that everything in this article about Michael Savage loving Islam and hating Jews is absolute bull.

Bob Schloppenstine on October 20, 2014 at 6:28 pm

Michael Alan weiner, who masquerades as Michael “savage” is a self loathing Jew.
“savage” NEVER admits he’s Jewish, he says he’s the son of “Russian immigrants”. “Savage” mocks Jews in a faux Yiddish accent and always talks about Jews in demeaning stereotypes.
This guy is a sick manic and his regular listeners have an IQ around room temp.

This is very interesting. I used to listen to Savage because my father liked him when I was in high school. I always Savage was a European nationalist and Zionist and that he hated Muslims because of those two beliefs of his. It seems like I was mistaken. A lot of people on the right-wing are Anti-Jewish because American Jews tend to be leftist (obviously there are exceptions like Savage and Schlussel), that might explain Anti-Jewish attitudes Savage has.
