I’m BAAAAACK! (& Where I’ve Been – Homeland Security Stuff)

By Debbie Schlussel

So sorry I didn’t post anything yesterday, even though I was dying to, and thanks to all of the readers who wrote with concern for my welfare. I’m still here, thank G-d. I was out for the entire day at a deposition at the Department of Homeland Security in Detroit.

As some readers may know, as part of my legal practice I represent a number of federal agents, including several in Homeland Security (which primarily means ICE–Immigration and Customs Enforcement). I left for the deposition at about 9:00 a.m. and didn’t get back until after 7:00 p.m.

Can’t say what it was about or give any more details than that. But the dep lasted all day, and it was grueling. I hate sitting in one place for so long. I’m a free spirit and like to stand up and move around.

The Homeland Security building where we did the deposition is cool because part of it was the first hospital ever built in Detroit, sometime in the 1800s I think. It’s right near the water/northern border, and you can see Canada across the river. There are a couple of cells in the building, where I hear they keep illegal aliens who “will be immediately deported” (no surprise that the cells appeared empty).

In any event, I’m back and have so much to put up. I have a review of Pierce Brosnan’s new horribly anti-American, pan-Muslim movie, which debuted yesterday, and a whole bunch of other stuff. New stuff coming up in the next few hours.

So stay tuned, and y’all come back now, ya hear.

Thanks for your continued readership.

Mr. Popik has a point there.

A couple quotes from Debbie’s entry that interested me.

” Iā€™m a free spirit and like to stand up and move around.”

Yes, me too. Some of my best thinking and motivation toward certain projects comes from having the freedom to do that, including launching in to a flexibility routine while pausing to check or send e-mails, and plan my day.

“. . . and you can see Canada across the river.”

Okay, well as long as you didn’t say you could see Russia. ROTFLMAO!!!

Hello Debbie, I have been watching your work since 2008 when details about the illegal illegitimate Barack Obama decided to slither out from under a rock and run for president. The evidence of his paper thin resume is all over international news to including now genocide by taxpayer funded M-16’s in the bloody hands of Obama’s Syrian rebel murderers.

I am sad it has come to a point in this country where US employees have to file suit to to do their job and seek justice.

I mention you and your work from time to time through the counterfeit draft registration data you wrote about in early 2008. We are still working hard out here to try to get justice.
Just yesterday I left some more info at my congressman’s office to remind him we still want action.

Thank you for what you do.
