Cosmopolitan Mag Blames Schlussel for “Tramp Stamp = Slut”

By “Sensationalist Pundit” Debbie Schlussel

Cosmopolitan Magazine–yes, that Cosmo Mag–attacked me this month. The August 2014 issue of the rag, er . . . “mag,” says I’m to blame for the conventional (and accurate) wisdom that women with tattoos over their rear ends are sluts. Ya mean someone actually thinks that isn’t true?

cosmomeganfoxtrampstampsmaller

debbieschlusselcosmotrampstamps

Longtime readers know I’ve written several posts on tattoos over the years, especially about tattoos on women. Some of my posts are about the sleazy “Tramp Stamps” a/k/a the “Official Marks of Skankdom.” In case you didn’t know, they’re the tattoos slutty women get over their butt-holes to tell the world: look at me, I’m easy! As I noted, a woman who is willing to allow someone to stab her repeatedly with a sharp needle for permanent graphics on her body is even less discerning in letting other foreign objects go in and out.

Amid typical Cosmo fare, such as, “HOT SEX Tonight: 24 Moves to Unleash Your Inner Bad Girl” and “COSMO’S SEX BUCKET LIST,” Cosmo writer Sara Stewart asks in her article, “Stop Calling It a Tramp Stamp“:

Am I a slut because I have a tattoo over my butt?

Um, yes.

She continues:

So says popular opinion, which dictates that this area is off-limits for ink if you’re a nice girl. Got lower-back artwork? You, dear lady, are a woman of questionable virtue. Where did this reputation start? I blame you, Wedding Crashers, in which Vince Vaughn gave us the oft-quoted, “Tattoo on the lower back? Might as well be a bull’s-eye.” I blame you, Sofia Coppola, for painting one on Emma Watson’s materialistic teen in The Bling Ring. I blame people who create Facebook pages like “The bigger the stamp, the bigger the tramp.” And I blame sensationalist pundits like Debbie Schlussel, who calls it code for asking men to “insert here.”

You mean it’s not? Um, why else does a female get a tattoo above her butt (and why don’t men generally get these)? Puh-leeze. Time for Cosmo and Sara to face facts. There’s only one reason to get “art” permanently affixed to your lower back: you want attention and something else focused there.

And, yes, you want the world’s men to know that the area is “open for business.”

Cosmo doth protest too much.

Signed,

“Sensationalist Pundit Debbie Schlussel”

(Thanks to reader Amber for the tip.)

LOL! Right on, Debbie!

Apparently they didn’t see “Wedding Crashers”

I loved Vince Vaughan’s famous line when spotting a bim with the tramp stamp, “Might as well be a bulls eye.”

I discourage tattoos for my kids, pointing out that NOT having one is a mark of an “individual.”

Cosmopolitan’s degeneration matches the degeneration of our culture and our society. When the magazine was founded, in the late 19th century, it was a literary magazine, and published works by some of the top writers of the day, writers who, at least up until a few decades ago were key figures in American Literature courses. These writers (Kipling, Dreiser, etc.) would cringe at the garbage the magazine publishes now.

Cosmo’s “sex bucket” list? Can you imagine what Edith Wharton, one of the early writers for the magazine would have said? But I guess the people at Cosmo wouldn’t care too much, because I doubt any of them would have heard of Wharton, Cather, London or Kipling.

The chronicle of a hedonistic debauched society.

Little Al on August 12, 2014 at 7:54 pm

It’s funny that Cosmo is basically championing the slut but objects when one calls a slut . . . a slut.

skzion on August 12, 2014 at 8:06 pm

I. DO. NOT. LIKE. TATTOOS. ON. A. WOMAN.
You talk about ruining what makes a woman attractive to a man, for me it’s tattoos! It screams, “I’m a tramp.”

Real Man on August 12, 2014 at 8:22 pm

Yes — but also (alternatively – depending upon the location and the content) “I am a man.” Equally — though differently — unattractive (to me).

And this, after the death of Lauren Bacall earlier today, who was anything but a you-know-what. Not to mention one more end in an era that once was in Hollywood.

Ah, the adventures of a slut…..

Reminds me of Tom Lehrer, the mathematics teacher, who achieved fame as the greatest musical satirist of all time. Here’s a song of his from a live 1960s show, relevant to this article’s topic. Lehrer’s political humor has not gone out of style with the passing of time. Some things just don’t change, I guess.

For that contributor to Cosmopolitan Magazine, let us define the word sensationalism/sensationalist:

Sensationalist->is a type of editorial bias in mass media in which events and topics in news stories and pieces are over-hyped to increase viewership or readership numbers.

That’s what the terminology means, and that person used a “logical fallacy” of “appealing to emotion(s)”.

http://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/appeal-to-emotion

And at the sametime, do I agree with Debbie allegedly claiming that women with tattoos on their buttocks and lower-backs sluts or tramps (similar to the Madonna Whore Complex argument), my answer is no I don’t necessarily agree with DS on that. I do however believe in “choice”, if anyone wants to ink up his or body with x-amounts of tattoos, it’s none of my business or the next persons business. Me personally, they’re tends to be good looking women who has tattoos on certain parts of their body, and I really don’t mind that much!

Sean R. on August 12, 2014 at 10:37 pm

All my kids wanted tattoos when they were teens – I told them I would never pay for them – they would have to pay for any tattoos themselves. They are expensive here, so that never happened – when they got older they saw how ridiculous they were, and that everyone and his dog has them – especially all those phonies in Hollywood.

Westkay on August 12, 2014 at 10:37 pm

My daughter was maturing during the height of the tramp stamp craze. Knowing her, I knew that using the “tattoos are forbidden” approach with her would be unreliable, so, I talked up tramp stamps all the time. I looked for every opportunity to mention the word.

We went to a family wedding and the bridesmaids wore dresses with the spaghetti straps (is that what they are called?) and all of them had tattoos on their shoulders. I didn’t like that look and I talked about it all the time. I thought it was trashy (IMHO).

I think it worked. She was adamant about getting a tattoo though, so she got a small half-dollar sized one on her foot. I can live with that.

Btw, that indirect approach has worked for other things too. It helped me prepare her for college indoctrination.

Rick on August 15, 2014 at 11:38 am

Yes, I am overwhelmed by the marvelous satirist who made fun of U.S. defense policy, various religious institutions, the Boy Scouts, and the rest of the overall culture that had made America great.

The iconoclasts of the late 50s and early 60 have been given insufficient attention, given that they ushered in the tragedy of the middle and late 60s, and the demise of America as we knew it.

Some of the regular contributors to this blog should rethink their views about this period of time.

Little Al on August 12, 2014 at 10:52 pm

I presume Stan Freberg would fit into that category you have described of “iconoclasts” who in their own way helped usher in our demise as a nation?

But besides what Debbie mentioned, no doubt tattoos are inexorably synonymous politically with liberal-leftism.

ConcernedPatriot on August 13, 2014 at 12:13 am

Well, for at least 5k years of recorded history, physical alteration for signal disfigurement to the body has been the mark of human life in lowered condition or quality, . . . animals no, because to any desired purpose, they are scored, or notched, or otherwise marked simply because, they are of the lower animal kingdom, and as such, nothing of the higher characteristic or evolving standards of decency can be at all attributable to them, . . .

PhillipGaley on August 14, 2014 at 1:36 am

And further in this way, I neither see nor sense anything which shows that, in meaning or import, the utility or effect of marks in the flesh of beings of the higher animal kingdom is now changed, but forever and anon, is yet held to be avoided as disfigurement, . . .

PhillipGaley on August 14, 2014 at 1:47 am

Okay, off topic now, but lighten up, Al. Tom Lehrer served honorably in the US Army and the US Army engaged him to write a song for them which they used in a promotional film.

To argue that the great iconoclastic and rebel comedians or satirists of the 1960s like Tom Lehrer, Mort Sahl, Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Jonathan Winters, Shelly Berman, Nichols & May, Dick Gregory, Bob Newhart, Woody Allen, Will Jordan, David Frye, Vaughn Meader, the Smothers Brothers, and Stan Freberg, among others, who made fun of institutions, politicians, etc., brought about “the demise of America as we knew it” is absurd. I would argue very differently that the demise of America is that we no longer have comics and satirists of their quality anymore, because, frankly, America no longer has a sufficient intelligent base to support them. Today, the “best” we have are Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert–two lightweights who can’t even write their own stuff and is thoroughly lame, predictable, unimaginative, and just plain unfunny. It’s like we’ve moved from the college of Nichols & May to the kindergarten junkyard.

So what about Tom Lehrer’s song “Smut” is not on target today–even 50 years later? What about it has helped society grow worse? Did his song the “Old Dope Peddler” inspire young people to take drugs? I would argue the opposite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTfuGeKPsZM

It’s satire. And a society that can’t laugh at it’s own absurdities is a sick society indeed.

Speaking of sick societies, ever wonder why there are no such things as Muslim Satirists? You won’t see any of their “comics”–if they can be called that–attacking any of the establishment and “respected” organizations, institutions, or people, or , at least, none that are still alive. But their “comics” do tell jokes about beheading Jews. Western society is turning more in that direction than in the direction of supporting comics and satirists of the quality of those of the 1960s.

Ralph Adamo on August 13, 2014 at 12:32 am

However, there is one Tom Lehrer song that has certainly helped to bring about the demise not only of Western Civilization, but has set science back several hundred years. This notorious song Lehrer is named “The Elements.” At the risk of poisoning some innocent minds who might listen to it, here is the link, but at least I have provided an appropriate warning:
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGM-wSKFBpo

Ralph Adamo on August 13, 2014 at 1:12 am

Ralph, I did say “ushered in” rather than “brought about”. There is a difference.

I’m not going to go into each one of them, but they were diverse. Dick Gregory went from being a civil rights activist to a raving lunatic. And I don’t see how it can be disputed that Lenny Bruce ushered in (not brought about — ushered in) in era where obscenity became the preferred means of communication.

During the time Lehrer was in the Army (mid-50s) he would not have dared act up. In those days the Army was drafting everybody, pre-Vietnam, and draft-dodgers were virtually non-existent.

But none of this addresses my point. The fact that you admire them so much for their cleverness doesn’t really have much to do with the role they played, nor does the fact that Lehrer was in the Army. So were the Communists during World War II, many of whom had much more responsibility than Lehrer did.

The use of words like ‘absurd’ doesn’t really address anything. Like sarcasm, epithets like that avoid the issue.

Yes, society was vulnerable at that time. Segregation was indefensible, as was the prejudice against Jews and other minorities. The social over-reaction of the 50s in some ways made our institutions easy targets for these bright young people, but, to use an overworn cliche, they threw out the baby with the bathwater. To see one side of their effect without seeing all of it is really tunnel vision.

And people not having the intelligence to understand them today? Seems like that might be a little racist. As a group, many Asians are among the most intelligent young people in society today. I would be surprised if very many of them would have appreciated Lehrer and the rest of them.

Little Al on August 13, 2014 at 2:41 am

And I guess you didn’t read the rest of my comment too carefully either. Yes, Lehrer did sing some innocent songs; not all of them subverted our institutions, but the attacks on religion, nuclear defense, etc., did.

By the way, not having intimate knowledge of Lehrer, did any of his songs in the 50s attack segregation, racism in general or prejudice against Jews?

Little Al on August 13, 2014 at 2:47 am

“By the way, not having intimate knowledge of Lehrer, did any of his songs in the 50s attack segregation, racism in general or prejudice against Jews?”

This is an interesting question. Ralph?

skzion on August 13, 2014 at 10:34 am

“And people not having the intelligence to understand them today? Seems like that might be a little racist.”

Al, in other contexts the could certainly be taken as racist, but actually, right here, I didn’t take it as such (due to my own perceptions, which will become clear in a few seconds); the reason I decided to post an observation here now, is because it addresses a grim — meaning not only a sad reality, but — more importantly — a dangerous one: the profound (and more likely than not, irreversible) “dumbing-down” of our society in general. The Progressives have been working on this (likely their #1 goal, in fact) under-the-radar, for the past 100 years (but most prominently, during the past 50 years) and they have succeeded in this magnificently! I say that I didn’t take the comment as racist, because the “dumbing-down” applies (in terms of absolute numbers, if not necessarily of percentages within groups) overwhelmingly to the white population of the nation. Truth be told, and to get right to the point, our “current two” “of-age” generations — i.e., those of the age-group who have recently graduated from college (say, within the past 10-15 years) as well as those who are currently of the age-group that is still in college — are (by and large — of course, as is always the case, there are a few notable and marginal exceptions to the rule) complete morons. This is not their own fault, actually: as I said, it is entirely by design; it is the work of the Progressives who have entirely infiltrated the Education System (from K – 12, & the Universities) as well as the Entertainment and News Medias — their onslaught has been ubiquitous and relentless. These kids and young adults know absolutely nothing about History, nor Current Events, nor Political Theory & its Implementations, nor Mathematics, nor Science, nor Literature (Classical, as well as Modern & Contemporary) nor Engineering, nor Finance and Economics, nor our Declaration, Constitution & Bill of Rights, nor Religion, nor Philosophy. 25% – 30% of recent college graduates don’t even KNOW which country it was, that we fought against, and won our Independence from! (that’s from a poll which was conducted about 3 years ago). And never mind, them not being able to name any of the Founding Fathers: they don’t even KNOW WHAT the “Founding Fathers” (as a concept) ARE! (that’s from a more-recent poll). I forget the exact percentage, but in that same poll, a significant number of them believed that George Washington was our 2nd President — that he had taken over the Office after Lincoln — our “1st” President — was assassinated. But they can name just about every Hollywood and Music celebrity’s current boyfriend/girlfriend/animal-friend, and who’s cheating on whom, on a moment’s notice! And this type of ignorance is not something that merely consists of an absence of knowing mere facts (which could — conceivably — be remedied by a willingness, on their part, to accumulate and assimilate — I.e., to “learn” those facts); no, it is FAR more crippling of a handicap than that, unfortunately: the truth is, these young people have never been taught (intentionally-so) HOW to learn — HOW to think — HOW to ask the relevant questions within an area one wishes to learn in, and then to proceed to gather the corresponding relevant information, and to weigh the veracity/falsity of the facts, hypotheses, and theories which one has gathered, and finally, to arrive at conclusions, through the use of judgment (gained from both previous learning, and actual experiences in the real world, in real time). In fact, it’s even worse than that, because these young people haven’t been taught the value of even HAVING the INCLINATION to do so! (that’s why we’re MUCH Worse-off today, than we had been, during the Great Depression — at least, in those days, the population consisted of people who were hard-working, motivated, ambitious, and fiercely-independent — they’d rather have died, than have taken what they referred to as “Government Assistance” — these days, the population not only isn’t ashamed to accept it: in fact, THEY DEMAND it, because they’ve been told all of their lives that they’re ENTITLED to it). I said that this is dangerous, because the continuity of our Constitutional Republic, over time, depends upon our having the “safety-net” of each succeeding generation which is equipped, and enthusiastic about, taking over the reins of preserving adherence to the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the virtues embodied in the Declaration of Independence. This is precisely WHY the dumbing-down of the general population WAS the #1 goal of the Progressives; morons and imbeciles (“Useful Idiots”) of course, make for the best mindless (and defenseless, and utterly-dependent) sheep.

As for the Asian portion of our population, they may very well be the exceptions to all of the above — but they don’t constitute enough of a percentage of our population to make a rat’s whisker of a difference, overall (at least, not yet — and not for the foreseeable future).

And that’s all just in reference to the level of our young people’s Intelligence — it doesn’t even begin to address the vacuity of their Moral core (i.e., the level of their Moral understanding/comprehension and actual actions/behaviors).

Anyway — I wish you the best, and I hope I’ve helped, in brightening-up your day! 🙂

Still Educating the Idiots on August 13, 2014 at 3:46 pm

Part of the problem is that some of these satirists made fun of things that nourished a society capable of understanding them.

And, skzion, yes he did: “National Brotherhood Week.” Lehrer was and is a misanthrope.

      Occam's Tool on August 13, 2014 at 4:58 pm

OT–As Occam has pointed out, Tom Lehrer hit on racism and anti-Semitism to some extent in his song “National Brotherhood Week.” But even earlier than that, in the 1950s, he composed “I Wanna Go Back to Dixie.” Here’s a live performance from 1967: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7CJovhhVq8

Like many of the rebel comedians of the 1950s and 1960s, Lehrer was Jewish–but, as he put it, having more to do with the delicatessen cultural sense, than the religious sense. (Other prominent Jewish rebel comedians from that period were Mort Sahl, Lenny Bruce, Nichols & May, Woody Allen, Shelley Berman, David Frye, among others.) Although Lehrer never wrote a song specifically targeting anti-Semitism, he touches on it in his song, “Who’s Next?” The theme of that song is nuclear proliferation. Like many of Lehrer’s political songs, this one is still topical, though instead of “Egypt,” you’d have to substitute “Iran.” But otherwise, right on target.

Ralph Adamo on August 13, 2014 at 9:13 pm

          OT–And here’s a Japanese take on Lehrer’s “The Elements”:
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljsUVDOcYB0

Although Lehrer is a mathematician by trade, he has exceptional verbal creativity and often uses unusual and witty rhymes and verbal references that can’t readily be translated to other languages.

Ralph Adamo on August 13, 2014 at 9:21 pm

Who do you think was behind the nuclear proliferation movement?

Little Al on August 14, 2014 at 3:44 am

“Who do you think was behind the nuclear proliferation movement?”

I don’t know the reason for your question, but the answer in general is that the USA and the USSR were behind it in the 1960s and the USA and Russia are behind it today–so things haven’t changed much there. Russia has been the direct culprit, but the USA hasn’t taken action to curb it either, so they are accomplices. Iran is a case in point. The USA has not only taken steps to allow Iran to obtain that capability, but has pressured Israel not to take any actions against Iran.

There are historical records that demonstrate that John F. Kennedy was working with Nikita Khrushchev to curb nuclear proliferation in the last year of his presidency, which, of course, did not sit well at all with either the US Military nor the Soviet Military establishments. (JFK was also making plans to pull the US out of Vietnam against the wishes of the US Military, which wanted to escalate US involvement.) Conveniently, JFK would be assassinated in November 1963 and Khrushchev would be removed from power not long after so that Leonid Brezhnev, a Soviet hardliner would carry out the Soviet Military’s policies. As a consequence, nuclear proliferation accelerated in the 1960s, and that’s what inspired Tom Lehrer’s song “Who’s Next?”

[The bomb was originally developed largely through the work of the top scientists of the world, many of whom were Jews (Oppenheimer, Szilard, Teller, Bohr, Von Neumann, among others), so it would not be a surprise that Israel would independently develop nuclear capability without US assistance.]

          Why do you ask?

Ralph Adamo on August 14, 2014 at 1:29 pm

It is nice you get a mention for this Deb. Nothing that isn’t patently obvious to everybody anyways. But the tramps that wear them, the guys that like doing those tramps (and appreciate the free “tip” that she is a tramp), as well as the friends of said tramp are all unwilling to call a spade a spade.

I don’t care if somebody wants to advertise on their body about their poor taste or low class. But when they get upset that their chosen advertisement (whatever it may be, including other fashion acoutrements, hairstyles, clothing, etc) is read for what it means? Tough.

It’s a softening, deceptive attitude that is behind it. Similar to the metaphor “Did she SLEEP with him?” What? Sleep? Like on the floor, while he slept in the bed? Oh that isn’t what you mean? You mean she let him DO her? That sounds skanky and cheap, doesn’t it? Yeah, let’s go with “sleep”… it sounds like something a swaddled baby does or an innocent angel.

Or, “I didn’t fib, I just didn’t tell the whole truth..” Oh? You didn’t bare-face LIE? You didn’t intentionally deceive and make a fool of another? You aren’t such a bad person. Why you can’t be called a liar! You’re good people!

Ralph, re the nuclear disarmament movement, if you don’t know why I am asking I really don’t want to take the time to answer. When I started commenting on this blog, I thought most of the people would be conservative. I found out, to my dismay, that a number of people, while considering themselves conservatives today, and taking conservative positions on a number of current issues, still accept left-wing dogma on a number of historical issues.

When thinking about it, I concluded that possibly some of these people used to be further to the left than they are today, and their fondness for liberal causes and issues of the past is a residue of this previous commitment. I really don’t want to take the time to deal with these issues anymore.

One of the biggest laughs of my life had to be about three or four years ago when Eva Longoria decided to show her ass to the world. Previously having only done the occasional topless thing I guess, and a lot of scantily clad stuff, she let the world see her ass. Sure enough, she has one, too. ROTFLMAO!!!

I mean, I was thinking, either she doesn’t mind being called or thought of as a slut, or she doesn’t know that’s what people call it. ROTFLMAO!!!

As a matter of fact, there was an article/slideshow circulating recently on those semi-dangerous* to view Hollywood gossip type sites about Hollywood girls with tramp stamps. Yup, Eva was on the list, LOL!!!

Dermatologists report that tattoo removal exceeds that of new tattoos today. There is hope after all.

#1 Vato on August 12, 2014 at 11:46 pm

What do tattoos really mean today? At one time, tattoos defined your “caste” level in society.

At one time, it was a mark of manhood in the certain wings of the military to get a tattoo. In the 1950s, it was used as a marketing tool to get people to smoke cigarettes, where male models could be seen wearing tattoos, smoking, and attracting pretty girls. Today, among males, it is still promoted to create a “bad boy” image–that will be attractive to girls and women who find “bad boys” boys more interesting and attractive than a straight, well-mannered and cultured male without ink.

With girls and women, the process has been slower. The primary means of marketing has been through certain popular female celebrities with tattoos. Women tend to be fashion copycats and are seldom originators of style. And more of the than not, men are the leaders in directing their fashion preferences. This isn’t a sexist statement. It’s simply a matter of fact. And the same is true for fashions of men, but men feel less pressure to emulate some dictated fashion styles than women do. That’s just the way it is, in America at least.

So what do tattoos mean to women today? They are a way to express “individuality”–even though they are hardly being individuals at all when they do it, which is the irony of it all. They also think that’s an act of “rebelliousness”–even though, again, it has far more to do with conformity than it does with rebellion. Frankly, being an individual and a rebel today is a tough thing. It takes thought, it takes action, it takes doing, it takes learning. That’s a whole lot more difficult than simply getting some ink injected into your skin.

Sara is amusing. Women have arrows on their exposed midriffs pointing to the appropriate areas. It is rather like denying that the arrows on an atm machine show where the card is inserted.

The best “Tramp stamp” I’ve ever seen was the cover of this so-called magazine shown at the top of the article. In addition, how anyone with an IQ above that of a turnip could defend a woman having a tramp stamp – and it is a tramp stamp – on their lower back defies all credibility. The next step in the degeneracy race to the bottom will be Sandra Fluck having seven birth control pills tattooed across her back with the caption, “YOU pay for it.”

I am not too fond of tattoos on men or women. It defaces an otherwise beautiful creation of G-d. Nevertheless, it serves no useful purpose whatsoever to broadly claim that women – and not men – are of questionable virtue for getting tattoos.

Their brain cell population may be a bit challenged, but …..

Before Wedding Crashers came out, I was walking behind a young gal who at the top of her butt crack had the tattoo “Lucky You”. The lettering was about 1 inch high so you couldn’t miss it. I wondered at that time have many guys read it while getting “lucky” with this gal. When I went to see Wedding Crashers years later and watched Vince Vaughn’s character make the “bulls eye” comment, I laughed but remembered that tattoo.

Hey Y’all! Forgive me if I go on RE other columns but my time is short and I wanted to MAKE time to say hi and proclaim my on-going solidarity. To make a long story short, I miss having the time to come see and learn from my very fav and VITAL web site, this one!

Anyone who slags DS (RE this post) just doesn’t get it. I’m proud to agree with her and be on her side. She sees the truth when others are lost in the ether. Feminism is still stupid and a big-time destroyer of many of the great things USA once had to offer. Proud to be on DS’ side regarding this and many other things!

I LOVED there was a column on that woman-hater George “Clueless” Looney. I was NOT shocked to read the woman disrespecter was gonna marry a Moooooooslim. He’s as predictable as mental illness in a Libtard! Of course he never respected any of his vagina receptacles he used (and let’s face it, they let that fool use ’em…) ’til he came across a Moooooslim one. THAT alone shows how satanic that graying tosser is! It would be comical if it wasn’t so annoying and Islamopandering.

I deeply regret the most vital reading I have missed here. I noticed Samantha Power was interviewed in a few rags last month. I just came across one where it shows her crypto upside-down US flag in her office. Not shocked by that but wish peeps would wake up to her and her estrogen-filled “wife”. It also confirmed what I finally figured out last year…she did NOT care about genocide ’til it was about Islam. I’m gonna see if DS has a recent column on that freak…

At any rate, I wanna spend the time I have left checking out some of DS’ columns I have missed but I am working on something VERY interesting. I mentioned it to DS in an e-mail. I’m researching something I at first was dubious about but so far the fact-checking is working out…

Everyday, when my time for vital research is limited (meaning, mostly from THIS SITE) I remember what I learned here and I use it to guide me in the proper direction. I think I’m on the right track but not as squarely as I would be if I could be here as much as I want. I feel the void daily.

And as I have always said, those most ignored are the people who SHOULD be listened to the most. That has been proven to me more this year than I even previously thought. Frightening and sad, but that is the trajectory and zeitgeist of 2014!

All my best, y’all! 😀

    Great observation.

Hello Skunky! I enjoy reading your comments on this site.

It’s funny that while I’m reading this(I’m at work) my co-worker is playing that God awful song by Beyonce Single Ladies. Yes ladies like Sara I hate to break it to you dear. The tattoo that you have above your derriere is called a tramp stamp. Deal with it as it is just one of those things like the sky is blue, the grass is green and your breath is kickin’in the morning. Also things like feminists are hags, hippies stink, liberals are brain dead, Cosmopolitan sucks, Al Sharpton is a crooked racist and Eric ObamajockHolder’s Department of Justice is the Department of Just-Us. Or also known as the Black Liberal Grievance Department.

Very Good Miss Debbie. Well written , short, and to the point.

William on August 13, 2014 at 4:17 pm

Hate the tat, always have. Have seen some female agents with them in the past. And yes, they were, are, tramps. I guess if I were to get one, it would say, “open upon death.”

WilliamMunny on August 13, 2014 at 7:07 pm

Skunky,

Welcome back. We missed you.

Sometime a tattoo is really a mask, hiding behind a false image. So perhaps a man may feel insecure about his manhood, and feels that having the image of a woman’s body tattooed to his own body will enhance his manhood.

Geraldo Rivera, for example, has a tattoo of a Star of David, as though to convey that he is a “serious” Zionist. Though no serious Zionist that I know, Jewish or not, would ever think to put such a tattoo on their his/her body. Jewelry, okay. But a tattoo? No way.

So when push comes to shove, Rivera reveals his true colors and shows that not only his no Zionist, but he is actually an Islamoterrorist-pandering leftist pretending to be conservative. His Star of David tattoo is a mask, or, in his case, a total fraud, an act of deception, though most people here are smart enough not to be fooled by him.

You can see that in this clip of Rivera arguing with some Fox hostess commentators, who, although they present some good points, seem unable to verbally get out the gloves and knock Rivera out cold, much as he’s asking for it. (I believe that Fox deliberately casts these polite hostesses as commentators so as to avoid such knockouts. Surely if Debbie were on the couch hammering him, Rivera would be in tears and walking off the set in shame.)

But note how when Rivera is cornered by one of the commentators, even with her relatively soft approach, Rivera has to bring his Star of David tattoo into the discussion as though the fact that he has this “proves” he must be a true Zionist. Only a phony would stoop to that argumentative tactic. Here’s the clip:

I thing these tatoos look good and stylish. They certainly do not make a woman a slut.

Darth314 on August 14, 2014 at 1:15 am

I’ve always called those tattoos “stink ink”.

Also, could there be an element of racism in tattoos? I’ve noticed that generally tattoos don’t go so well with darker skin (but maybe a metallic or fluorescent pigment would do).

Good to see you getting some positive attention and publicity.

Sincerely,

The Air Force has, “Aim high.” Tats above the crack, “Aim here.” Would a “target rich environment” be out of line? Perhaps, chicks with “tramp stamps” could improve their image with, “Exit Only”? A “Wrong Way” sign? The “Our Father”? LOL.

Sick_Boy on August 14, 2014 at 8:47 am

SB, mexican criminals get the virgin mary tatooed on their backs, supposedly, to keep other inmates from making them their putos.

nadie on August 14, 2014 at 10:35 am

Gives new meaning to, “Our Lady of Guadelupe pray for us” no? LOL!

      Sick_Boy on August 14, 2014 at 5:21 pm

Ha, don’t agree with DS everytime, but gotta admit she is funny as cr*p and this one is right on. The womans’ tramp-stamp fad seems similar to the current urban male fad of wearing the pants down around the thighs.

waynesteapartyworld on August 14, 2014 at 9:37 am

Only sluts get tatoos and only sluts read that rag Cosmo! My children were forbidden to get tatoos and they thank me for it now.

MRobs on August 14, 2014 at 10:52 am

There is a definitely correlation between the number of tattoos/piercings and the likelihood that a woman is a stripper [expressed mathematically as: %stripper = (number of tattoos/1) + (number of piercings/2) x 100]

John the Statistician on August 15, 2014 at 2:50 am

    John, that was brilliant.

skzion on August 15, 2014 at 10:38 am

Wanna say hi back and I have missed y’all too!

I just had the time to read DS’ column on “Bridget Gabriel” and I enjoyed it especially because I have never known the truth about her but knows DS does and I hope to read her future columns exposing her.

Remember this, in 2014 all the people who should be listened to are being ignored and the con jobs are getting away with being truthful. It’s at a dangerous level now and that is NOT hyperbole.

I’m working on something (regarding 2 other people) who are blowing the whistle and no one is listening. That’s why I am proud to read this site and learn from it…and I have missed some real VITAL info from here since the start of the year.

Keep on reading and keep on looking for the truth tellers!

Skunky on August 15, 2014 at 2:02 pm

I have read this site for a long time. I don’t always read it, but I always enjoy it when I do. DS is outstanding. This article is another great example. Debbie displays brilliance, femininity, and wit that is fun and informative.

Wear the Cosmo critique as a Badge of Honor, Debbie! If they agreed with you, we would all be worried.

The other thing I always loved about Debbie’s site is reading the comments. I always enjoy reading DS Rocks, Alfredo from Puerto Rico, and others. However, SKUNKY is the shizzle!! I loved reading her commentary on Debbie’s commentary. Where have you been? (I hope everything is okay…)

PDMac60 on August 15, 2014 at 4:34 pm

Christy Mack, a porn star, got her tattoo on her back that said “Property of War Machine”. War Machine is a MMA fighter on the run from the law (and Dog the Bounty Hunter) for brutally beating up and nearly killed his girlfriend…guess who? Christy Mack.

She is the definition of a clueless skank with too many “tramp stamps” on hers.

Bob on August 15, 2014 at 5:07 pm

I just about threw up when I read the Cosmo author’s sentence about Lena Dunham being nude on her stupid HBO show. And yes, Sara (Cosmo writer), you are a slut if you have that tramp stamp.

Stewart Michie on August 19, 2014 at 3:55 pm

I agree 100% – a woman with a tramp stamp is presumptively a slut!
