Famous Actress/ObamaFan Has Armed Police Bodyguard @ College Graduation to Avoid Little People Fellow Grads

By Debbie Schlussel

A famous actress gazillionaire Obamanik was afraid of being approached by fellow classmate “little people” at her college graduation, so she had an armed bodyguard. And you paid the tab to guard this spoiled brat.

Obamabot Snob Emma Watson w/ Her Armed Cop Bodyguard

Actress Emma Watson, who says Barack Obama is her hero and “a hero to the world,” showed us that she has an Obama-esque attitude toward the “little people” at her graduation from Brown University, this past weekend. Yup, her snobbery is so great that even her fellow rich kid classmates at Brown are the “little people” from whom she felt she must separate herself.

Watson had a tax-paid plain clothed, armed police officer–yup, that’s right! a real life “evil” gun–protecting her from the fellow rich and privileged and their parents, lest they might approach her and ruin the oxygen flow in her sphere. Um, why?

Miss Watson’s high-security approach to her graduation ceremony at Brown University is a marked contrast with her stated aim of having a ‘normal’ experience as a student at the elite US college. In the past, the 24-year-old has played down her celebrity status, claiming to have never been asked for an autograph on campus – a sign, she said, of her normality. . . . But as she picked up her degree in English Literature alongside 2,000 other graduates on Sunday, she remained in constant sight of the undercover officer.

Lots of celebs went to and graduated from Brown, from JFK, Jr. to Bruce Willis’/Demi Moore’s daughter, and none of ’em had armed, tax-funded police following them around like lapdogs. Remember when Brooke Shields–who was far more famous at that time than Watson is now–graduated from Princeton? She didn’t have a bodyguard. And here’s a tip: nobody really cares about Emma Watson. She ain’t that big a deal. Not even close.

Reader Lisa:

Hello . . . she’s not that famous. Its Harry Potter, not Star Wars, lol!!! Oh please, the Unabomber lived in the same Rooming house as my Dad at Harvard and he was a celebrity, haha! Ok, he wasnt a celebrity at that point, lol . . . .

Alot of celebrities go to Ivy League schools and they make a big deal about wanting to “blend in” and be quiet about it. Emma, you aren’t that famous.

But, hey, she thinks she’s that famous. And she also thinks Barack Obama is a “hero.”

So she’s zero for two.

Oh, and by the way, she’s one of the many mindless celebs who did that silly #bringbackourgirls Twitter crap. Judging by the photo, apparently Brown grads are so gifted and worldly that they don’t know how to make a hashtag or number sign.

emmawatsonbringbackourgirlsobamasmiling.jpg

Um, Emma, #bringbackyourhumility. Assuming you ever had any.

And that’s debatable.

Funny that someone who pretends to care about some poor kidnapped Nigerians is actually more concerned with the trappings of the ultra-vulgar rich.

Exit question: has crime really been eradicated in Providence, Rhode Island . . . or should that city’s cops be doing something more important than serving as undercover little-people-blocker for B-list movie stars?

I thought that Watson didn’t even do her own “hash tag” poster, which is why she didn’t get the hash tag right.

skzion on May 27, 2014 at 5:51 pm

LOL – I think she did it just not to be associated with your average ordinary #bringbackourgirls lumpenproletariat. She’s a little bit more difficult to put in the box.

Frankz on May 27, 2014 at 8:29 pm

She should offer herself as a hostage replacement. That would impress me. 😉

    worry01 on May 27, 2014 at 11:30 pm

I wonder if her sorority house was called “Gryffindor West.”

Joaquin Closet on May 27, 2014 at 6:06 pm

I don’t know – she sounds more like a Slytherin alum.

ConcernedPatriot on May 27, 2014 at 11:34 pm

Yes, Brown is notorious for its catering and affirmative action policies towards children of celebrities, or celebrities (loosely defined) themselves. Academic standards are drastically relaxed for these individuals.

Brown is also notorious for its Sex Week capers. I wonder how Watson reacted to her classmates during Sex Week.

Little Al on May 27, 2014 at 6:23 pm

And of course the idea is to increase the university’s endowment.

Little Al on May 27, 2014 at 6:29 pm

Celebrities live in their own mental ghetto.

My place in flyover country hasn’t witnessed a murder in over 60 years and the streets are safe to walk at night.

Heck you don’t even need to lock the doors in some places in this country!

Emma Watson hasn’t gotten a clue about America. And us riff-raff have lived our entire lives without needing to be followed around by an armed bodyguard.

NormanF on May 27, 2014 at 6:31 pm

I wonder if this woman who got an armed guard believes in strict gun control for the little people? (Just like Mayor Bloomberg, Howard Stern, Rosie O’Donnell, Dead Ted Kennedy, and countless other celebutards).

This is why Debbie remains our queen.

The average American has never even heard of Brown – but it’s still a disgrace that that dump even got ADMITTED there, let alone that she graduated. Sickening to think of the good students who get passed over every year to make room for mouth-breathers like Emma Watson. Of course, the real question is why the good students would want to be around people like that in the first place.

U.N. Owen on May 27, 2014 at 7:03 pm

I’m ashamed of myself for even knowing this, but Brooke Shields graduated from Princeton, not Brown.

U.N. Owen on May 27, 2014 at 7:06 pm

I’m lost. How was she able to employ a police officer for a personal affair and charge it to the tax payer? Here in Cali, if you need cops for a funeral escort, or cops for a nightclub venue, the individual has to pay. How did she pull this off? Or did she pay this from her own pocket, if she did, then its not a big deal.

Btw I dont know who this girl is.

Why didn’t she pay for her own security?

MominMinnesota on May 27, 2014 at 8:59 pm

Lots of off duty cops do security duty as a way of “moonlighting” and yes, the private party pays so that needs to be clarified here.

For my first marriage, there was lots of loot in the house and we’d had a rash of break-ins in the neighborhood. I suspected neighbor kids who were semi-squatters, so I got my mom to hire an off duty, but WE PAID,

M: They are not allowed to use their badges for that. Her badge is being used. DS

Meira on May 28, 2014 at 5:09 am

Hmm, ok. I was under the impression that off duty cops always had their badges and guns.

I have another question people,Sans politics, take politics completely out the picture, is it a bad thing to declare the president your hero, is he a bad man, or is it you are a conservative/repub and hate him politically?

I mean he graduated college, married, two kids, blah blah blah, seems normal to me. As for me, no human alive or dead is my hero.

Big D on May 27, 2014 at 7:20 pm

If he lived next door to me, was a VP at John Hancock, I wouldnt think he’s a bad guy , I’d probably like playing ball with him on Sunday mornings, certainly no hero……but, Big D, he’s the President, his policies affect my life, he sucks as a leader….

HK on May 27, 2014 at 7:37 pm

Big D to be honest without politics what is Obama?
A black guy in the White House – that’s all. Sorry, that’s the way I see it.

Frankz on May 27, 2014 at 8:44 pm

I don’t dislike Obama because he’s a prominent black man Big D OK?
Do you always have to ask the same type of question every time somebody gets flak who racist conservatives are supposed hate because they’re racist?
Do you not notice everybody getting flak here?
What do you want me to tell you?
Last time it was Oprah. Next time it will be the next guy.

Frankz on May 28, 2014 at 12:23 am

If she was sitting next to me, with or without the guard I wouldnt have known who she was.

HK on May 27, 2014 at 7:26 pm

Looks like there aren’t very many Harry Potter fans around here. Me, I’ve never read the books, as I don’t like juvenile works, but I watched one of the movies, and it SUCKED.

In fairness to Miss Watson, at least she’s not a high school dropout.

I just realized (not being a tweeter) that the content of the hashtag isn’t correct, as there should be no imbedded blanks. Miss Watson must have paid one of the Affirmative Action undergrads to do the sign for her, as I expect she knows better. But Miss Watson had to get the “serious face” holding the sign done quickly, so no chance to get a better sign made.

Did Mommy and Daddy till you how wonderful you were today are have they left you alone in there basement.

Big D, I did not like Bush nor Obama, as they both ran up the debt to record numbers with nothing to show for it. They have both driven business overseas, and weakened our military. Obama puts welfare before work. Obama is anti-Israel and since his first day in office has been a mouthpiece for Islam.

His administration will prosecute those who his Attorney General labels racist if the alleged perp is white, but he never prosecutes black racists for civil rights violations.

His administration has tailed and investigated reporters, used the IRS as a weapon, sent weapons to drug dealers in Mexico, has raised taxes on the working people, and set a medical plan in place that will cripple business.

He also badmouths America outside of the country. He is not only a bad person, he is a rotten f.ck. Good enough for you?

Jonathan E. Grant on May 27, 2014 at 8:54 pm

I never met an intelligent person that went to Brown.

halevi on May 27, 2014 at 9:17 pm

“…is he a bad man?” Yes, Marxists always are.

“…graduated college”? He did? How are we supposed to know without seeing any of his transcripts? That can’t happen because we’d all see he was in college as a foreign student.

“…married” To the daughter of a Chicago ward boss. She had a $300,000 a year no-show job. Wouldn’t be where she is but for affirmative action.

“…married” Legally to his beard Michelle, between trips to Chicago bathhouses.

“…two kids” WGAF? Lots of gay black dudes on the “down low” have kids.

“…blah blah blah” Forged Selective Service registration (a story broken by Debbie). Invalid Social Security number. He’s an identity thief, and hence, yes, a criminal and an evil man.

CornCoLeo on May 27, 2014 at 10:33 pm

It is amazing that Providence sprung for this security detail. She is more than capable of paying for that nonsense herself. Leftist are quite often the most grotesque elitists. Emma is a mediocre actress with an outsized ego.

worry01 on May 27, 2014 at 11:28 pm

Brown University was also the place where then-NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly (speaking of Mayor Bloomberg) planned late last year to give a talk about fighting crime and terrorism in big cities such as New York – and was shouted down and heckled by the jackbooted thugs-in-training (a.k.a. “college students,” all of whom effectively ran interference for violent criminals, drug dealers and gangbangers on one side and HAMAS, al Qaeda and Hezbollah on the other) to the point where he ended up cancelling. That, plus Brandeis University’s pulling the rug from Ayaan Hirsi Ali amidst “protests” from HAMAS supporters and Condoleezza Rice’s (a.k.a. “Condi Clueless” amongst followers of this site) cancelling a Rutgers University commencement speech after herself coming up against the anti-free speech thugs who likewise are euphemistically called “college students,” are yet more examples of why allowing 18-to-20 year olds to continue to vote is extremely dangerous for America’s continued survival and very future. But back to Brown, in that context obviously Ms. Watson fit in perfectly like a glove (O.J. Simpson’s, perhaps?), given that snotty attitude.

ConcernedPatriot on May 27, 2014 at 11:31 pm

Unfortunately, many of these students, young adults away from home for the first time, are going through an identity crisis. And certain professors are more than happy to refashion their identity — to get them to feel they are Making a Difference. This is why so many college students are radicalized. It makes them feel engaged with the world.

Some will grow out of this; unfortunately, others won’t.

Primetime on May 27, 2014 at 11:37 pm

There’s a good reason why 18 year old’s are the target of military enlistment, TV ads, etc…
I’d prefer they be allowed to drink alcohol than vote.

theShadow on May 31, 2014 at 10:23 pm

Debbie, reading about Emma Watson’s liberalism and its hypocrisy that goes with it is not news. What really got my eyebrows up is that she has an armed POLICE guard not a security guard aka rent-a-cop, mall cop. That means that the city is paying a big chunk of change since I am assuming, from California rules, that the police woman is being paid her going salary, plus overtime, and of course her benefits are added to the cost. I would like to know how did Ms. Watson was able to get a police officer at taxpayer’s expense?

I would not be surprised that the Mayor of Providence and the President of Brown Univirsity have some cronism going on in providing this bodyguard.

Incredible that people still think that the liberals and especially the entertainers really care about them.

Mario on May 28, 2014 at 12:25 am

See at least J.E.Grant gives an intelligeable answer. Thorough and complete. A person can actually glean something from him. Unlike this Gordito moron.

@ DS Rocks. No one asked for your foolish response.

@ Frankz. You put words in my mouth. I asked how come he couldn’t be considered a hero? Mr.Grant answered quite intelligently. A very clear concise answer. Poignant. Many like yourself and DS Rocks could learn from that man.

BigD on May 28, 2014 at 1:58 am

    @Big D
No, you were really asking why people would deride Emma Watson for being an Obamanik – anyone who follows you on a regular basis knows you’re going to ignore the substance of the disagreement and point out the accomplishments of the person you’re defending.

You always do this. With Oprah it was hey look how successful she so don’t hate on her.
With Obama you kind of struggled to find something not related to politics so you pointed out what he has common with millions avergage people.

BTW a big part of thinking that “Obama is her hero and a hero to the world” is going along with Obama politically obviously. She wouldn’t very likely think that if he was running on a conservative platform would she?
Because aside from politics he’s done very little heroic except as you said, “graduated college, married, two kids, blah blah blah”.
Doesn’t exactly qualify him for “blah blah” world hero status does it?

It’s poignant Grant has patience for this crapola but sorry not me.

Frankz on May 28, 2014 at 2:26 pm

    how successful she *is*

HK on May 28, 2014 at 9:27 am

She hardly even attended Brown. She I believe went and did some studying in Europe. I guess it is normal and received lots of credit for it. However, she did NOT actually spend four years on campus. In fact it took her five years to graduate.

In NY there was an article sheer she demanded her room mate sign dome non disclosure agreement. Another spoiled rotten Limey who thinks her s**t dies nit stink. I hope her room mate told her where she could stick that agreement. Supposedly she did not even like Brown and wanted to leave. She probably pissed a lot if students off.

Glen Benjamin on May 28, 2014 at 3:49 pm

The Price of Admission: How America’s Ruling Class Buys Its Way into Elite Colleges by Daniel Golden, scathingly attacks Brown. Celebrities, and kids of celebrities, are lavishly welcomed instead of far more deserving students. Golden says that Brown is the worst offender in this very corrupt game.

Nicole on May 28, 2014 at 5:18 pm

It figures that not only is Emma Watson a stuck up loon but she’s the typical liberal in love with Obummer loon. I will admit though that I watched the first Harry Potter movie were Hermione was the annoying no it all that you just wanted to hit upside the head with your magic wand. I couldn’t rad the books as they just aren’t my cup of tea. I do have a question for Emma and the other idiots that inhabit Hollyweird. What is up with the love for Obama. I for one just can’t understand the love for a man who has been an absolute FAILURE as president. Everything that the man has touched has turned to stinky mud. The Obamanation also has more scandals than the last democrat weasel to being the White House. Odimwit has also used the government to punish his enemies in a way that would make Nixon blush. Brown must be so proud to have another empty headed libdunce to graduate from its hallowed halls.
