EXCLUSIVE: Major Dem Donors Discriminated Against Pregnant Chick – REAL War on Women

By Debbie Schlussel

The real “War on Women”: when major liberal Democrat donors discriminate against pregnant women. That’s what happened when Florine Mark, Hannan Lis, and Lisa Lis, who gave tens of thousands of dollars to the Obama campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and Democrat candidates nationwide, discriminated against a pregnant woman and recently settled with her for tens of thousands of dollars. And you won’t read about it anywhere but here on DebbieSchlussel.com.

The REAL War on Women: Major Dem Donors Florine Mark & Hannan & Lisa Lis Discriminated Against Pregnant Women

Mark, and her daughter and son-in-law, the Lises, own The WW Group, one of the largest franchisees of Weight Watchers franchises in the world. They are multi-millionaires and far leftists who are also JINOs (Jews In Name Only) and support various liberal, anti-Israel, and anti-Semitic causes. As I told you several years ago, the Lises held a legal defense fundraiser at their mansion for an indicted HAMASnik Jew-hater, just a few days after PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) terrorist Imad Hamad and Hezbollah agent Osama Siblani held a fundraiser for the man. Hannan Lis also paid to bring Leonard Nimoy (yes, of Star Trek fame) to Detroit to pimp his anti-Semitic nudie book, featuring naked women defiling Jewish religious materials.

And last week, Mark and the Lises’ privately held WW Group settled a federal civil rights lawsuit brought against the company by the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC) on behalf of a pregnant woman against whom the company discriminated.

Wendy Lamond-Broughton joined Weight Watchers and lost 30 pounds following the birth of her child. She decided to apply for a job with The WW Group, and was told at her second interview that she would not be hired because she was pregnant again. The WW Group recently settled the suit for only $45,000, which is pizza money for them, a drop in the bucket.

While I understand that Weight Watchers’ pitch is all about losing weight, it’s illegal to discriminate against women based on pregnancy status, pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. And, as we all know, if the Koch Brothers did this, the story would be headlines internationally and part of the BS about the so-called “Republican War on Women.” But with Mrs. Mark and the Lises, the story was barely a blip in local Detroit-area news and their status as major Dem donors wasn’t mentioned anywhere . . . except here.

Hannan and Lisa Lis gave thousands of dollars in campaign contributions to Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Charles Schumer, among many others. They also gave at least $30,000 to the DNC Services Corporation a/k/a the Democratic National Committee. Ditto for Florine Mark, a major donor to the Obama campaign, the DNC, and Democrat candidates. Don’t you just love how the politicians whining about the “war on women” are taking oodles of money from those perpetrating that war. Mark and the Lises were also consistent major donors to John Dingell, who they know has one of the most anti-Israel voting records and is an open supporter of Hezbollah, which murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and Embassy officials in cold blood.

Mark and the Lises are good friends and supporters of the Clintons, and I’m sure they’ll donate plenty for Hillary’s 2016 run for Prez. Mark actually took her granddaughter–the Lis’s daughter–to meet Bill Clinton at the height of his impeachment and expressed her support of the President’s right to get oral sex from interns and lie about it under oath.

She won’t hire hard-working pregnant chicks, but has no prob with men who get oral sex from the youthful hired help.

Maybe Florine Mark wanted her granddaughter to be the next Monica Lewinsky.

BTW, after I last wrote about Hannan and Lisa Lis, Mr. Lis contacted me, and I had the e-mail exchange with him, below. (For background info, you should definitely read this article, “Who Are Hannan Lis & Tim Attalla?,” first, so you’ll see these New Year’s greetings and invitation weren’t the kind and generous gestures they may appear to be.)

Hannan:

Thank you for your New Year wishes. Shanah Tovah to you and your family, too. While I appreciate your invitation, I observe Shabbat and do not drive on the Sabbath, so I would be unable to attend without doing so.

Regardless, I would have to decline your very nice invitation, anyway. As we both know, your e-mail invitation to me was not sent in a vacuum. As you know from my recent article about you, we have fundamental differences of opinion that cannot be bridged over challah [DS: challah is the braided bread, over which Jews say a blessing and which they eat before meals on the Jewish Sabbath] and kiddush [DS: kiddush is the ceremony of saying a blessing over and drinking wine before meals on the Jewish Sabbath].

I oppose the enemies of the Jewish people. You fraternize with them, orchestrate awards for them, and raise money for their legal defense funds. I oppose illegal drugs and those who are involved in drug gangs that murder in the name of distributing them. You raise money for those involved with those gangs and their legal defense funds . . . when they are Palestinians. I oppose a moral equivalency summer camp that considers Holocaust denial as a legitimate viewpoint and treats Jewish kids and Palestinians–many of whom end up becoming terrorists–as equals, not as terror victims and their aggressors. You send your kids to that camp and raise money for its continued existence. I oppose Congressman John Dingell, one of the most anti-Israel members of Congress. Your family and PACs in which you are involved promote him and give money to his campaigns.

And I respect the Jewish religion and its traditions and paraphernalia used in performing religious observances. You welcome to town those who do picture books featuring naked women who desecrate them (your friend Leonard Nimoy’s “Shekhina”).

Again, I very much appreciate your classy letter and invitation and I return your wishes that the new year bring you and your family health and happiness.

Thanks for your invitation. And I hope the New Year is a good one for you and your family.

Debbie Schlussel

Of course, my kind wishes and niceties at the end were as sincere as a Congressman using the description “my esteemed colleague” on the Floor of the U.S. House. I do not give well-wishes to the enablers of my enemies and those who would destroy me.

Far lefties like this really think I’ll be charmed and awed by their mansions (which they attained by marrying the right spoiled lefty rich girl), and that this will bridge the wide chasm between my mainstream, morality-based views and their whacked out, off-the-deep-end ones.

Not a chance.

Besides, everyone knows that the Left’s claim of a “war on women” was concocted for the purpose of justifying their own war on the unborn, on the family, on religious liberty, and on life itself. Aside from this issue, I was under the impression that what was done to Ayaan Hirsi Ali at Brandeis University was more indicative of a “war on women” than the Democrat demagogues are letting on.

@ Debbie: Such a satisfying two-move game of chess were your email exchanges with Lis. A case in point for the advisability of knowing your opponent well before commencing to lob a round of mischievous subtle fire. No sooner had Mr. Lis turned with snicker and wink to Ms. Lib, er Lis, boasting “checkmate” were your fingers at work on your keyboard in reply. Checkmate, indeed.

Okay, fun hyperbolic supposition; but not the your”checkmate” smash back into the Far Left court.

But aren’t you sorry having had to decline the Shabbat dinner invite? Think of the fun-filled evening you missed toasting abstract principles that fly in the face of real life experience. Just imagine all you missed out on; and the enrichment you could provided for your hosts and their other guests. Who better than you to offer discourse on global warming’s effect on popsicles, for instance?

Right on, Debbie!

Is the woman pictured in the pink jacket alive?

#1V: Funny you should ask b/c I was going to note that the woman in the pink jacket, Florine Mark, has had so much plastic surgery that she now looks like an embalmed male-to-female transsexual and is very hard on the eyes. DS

LOL: “Is the woman pictured in the pink jacket alive?”

    Ya, like “Weekend At Bernie’s”

    DS_ROCKS! on April 16, 2014 at 12:07 pm

DSRocks: She does look like she’s been embalmed, doesn’t she?

I am surprised that the interviewer did not say to the interviewee, ” though we acknowledge your ability to get pregnant, we only hire and support those who believe in and practice their ‘female reproductive rights’.”

I’m shocked, SHOCKED to find a double standard and hypocrisy among JINO’s and Liberals. If the applicant had stated that she found herself pregnant and quickly went to the nearest P.P. abortuary for her “Women’s reproductive health,” she would have been hired in a heartbeat. Love your responsive post to the “Invitation.” You are always classy and factual, even in the face of the enemy – and they are the enemy.

Victoryman on April 16, 2014 at 9:23 am

A wonderful response to a liberal JINO. This is a true story. A friend attended a Seder dinner which was followed by a short talk by the host a very successful businessman. In his talk he focused on the main problems of the world. Problem number one? You guessed it…climate change. Jews who are so successful and smart also must have a mixture of insanity in their brains.

oops sorry for the typos

I met Leonard Nimoy at a signing of some sort at a toy store in suburban Philadelphia in 1974 when I was a lad. I forget what he was promoting and it was coincidence that I was there (always bored by “Star Trek”), but I am surprised that he’s still alive. He seemed pretty old to me back then, but I suppose most adults seem old to a 12-year old.

DS_ROCKS! on April 16, 2014 at 5:55 pm

Probably Star Trek merchandise. We had all the action figures and tasers and I even had blueprints for the Enterprise. Little did I know they’d be worth a small fortune 30 years later. Yes, I have a Trekkie streak.

I liked “Lost In Space” much better. Dr. Zachary Smith and Robot were one of the funniest comedic duos ever on TV.

      DS_ROCKS! on April 17, 2014 at 2:16 pm

        @ DS ROCKS…

The Robot still echoes the sentiments of most intelligent, informed Americans regarding the Comrade in Chief and his band of clowns: “Warning Will Robinson…Danger!!!!”

IceNoMore on April 18, 2014 at 9:41 am

Kudos to you Debbie….will they(JINOS) ever get it ?

I don’t mean to offend, but I don’t understand these people. Did the Jews in Germany act so stupidly, too.
