Ivan Lopez & Fort Hood Shooting #2: How Did It Happen Again? Another “Mentally Ill” Massacre?

By Debbie Schlussel

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost five years since the Fort Hood Massacre by Nidal Malik Hasan, and even harder to believe that less than five years after that massacre, a similar attack happened again, with three murdered and 16 injured. Is it impossible to stop an attack like this on a military base, where some soldiers are armed? I thought they changed the police and made soldiers surrender their arms on the base. So how did this guy pass muster? As I’ve asked before, “Is America Just Incompetent?

forthood

And isn’t it odd to you that we have this rash of “crazy” people who engage in these successful rampages at military installations and so on, and yet while the attacks appear to be “random” attacks by “mentally disturbed” people, they also look very well planned. It’s not just this. It’s also the guy at the Navy Yard, Aaron Alexis. And in both these cases, the perpetrator was killed, so we have no way to know if these were instance of mental illness and PTSD–as is claimed–or well planned jihad. And we’ll never know for sure. The same goes for the gunman who shot his way onto the USS Mahan at Naval Station Norfolk last week, in a little-reported story that strangely went under the radar. Ditto for Miriam Carey, the “crazy” woman who drove her car like an assassin on Capitol Hill and near the White House, last year, and was shot dead by Capitol Police. Was she crazy . . . or testing the system for someone else?

Whether or not Ivan Lopez, the now-dead shooter and military man behind yesterday’s attack, was really crazy or just crazy like a fox, it begs the question: How Could This Happen Less Than Five Years After the Previous Fort Hood Massacre? Something isn’t right here. And I’m not talking about Lopez’s mind. He was, in fact, never diagnosed with PTSD. He was merely in the process of being examined and treated, reportedly having “sought” mental health treatment. In fiction novels–which we failed to take heed to before 9/11–jihadists could train people like this to fake the symptoms. In fact, the Al-Qaeda handbook–as I’ve pointed out many, many times before–recommends recruiting mentally ill, mentally disabled, or otherwise easily discredited individuals for jihad. That’s what they do. That’s what the Detroit Terror Cell did.

How do we know that’s not what happened here? We don’t. And we’ll never know, now that this guy is dead. (BTW, despite that, I’m glad he’s dead–we don’t need endless Nidal Malik Hasan charades with anyone else.)

What do you think really happened here and how and why did it happen again? Are things really as we’re being told with this “deranged” gunman, “not tied to terrorism”?

FOX news referred to someone’s description as “soldier on soldier violence.” Of course, islamic jihadist Hasan was characterized as “workplace violence.” I suppose that in the not too distant future the 9/11 attacks will be dubbed as “flight path errors!”

Will never get the real scoop on Ivan Lopez — Mullah Barry must protect his moslem “outreach” at all costs! The dopey three star general said it wasn’t terrorism, but then said ALL options are still open! Words no longer have meanings to this jihadist regime in DC. Every attack is defined as “not
terror related” by the regime!

Alas, there is no opposition to this alliance with islamic terror from our congress. Lies, stonewalling abound on so many issue and scandals — yet Wimp Boehner is merely scheming
to provide amnesty!

I suspect that there is more going on than meets the eye. Also, it is rather bizarre that Fort Hood’s security was once again so lax.

The main problem is Islamic terrorists do use mentally unstable people to “test” the system. What they have discovered five years going on in the aftermath of Nidal Malik Hasan’s jihadist rampage is that security at Ft. Hood remains lax as ever. Stuff to know if you’re planning attacks on sensitive American targets.

We don’t want to be bothered by this possibility – or prefer to dismiss it as the random attack of a crazy gun man. After all, if there is nothing more menacing behind it, we get to live on with our assumed sense of invulnerability.

Islamic terrorists take full advantage of that mindset. The unanswered question is not when they will strike again but rather where. And we’re not serious at all about the probing attacks around this country and taking appropriate measures in response to them.

Another 9/11 is waiting to happen in the future. Count on it.

It said in one article that the building where the “crazy” Doc Nidal had his shooting spree was razed. I suppose the precedence has been set so they’ll raze the buildings where Lopez went jihad.

I now see that this is a conspiracy by peaceniks to ultimately force the Army to raze all of their buildings, all the soldiers with no place to go will then realize the foolishness of war and go home.

Why speculate? Better to wait than to spread erroneous info!

Oh Johnny, you just wait. And wait. And wait. While the story is buried and forgotten.

    What a dumbass.

very tragic..but, people have continually dealt with intense emotional grief and loss without carrying out wanton murder and public massacres…this phenomenon has become too frequent

This guy killed 3 innocent people & injured many others before killing himself. Muslim or not, this is a terrorist act.

It smells like another false flag. Sandy Hook woke me up; my nephew is autistic and I just didn’t believe that an Asperger’s kid afraid of loud noises could do that. There’s a lot to tell, but the bottom line on something like Sandy Hook is to take away the Second Amendment rights of Americans to own guns. Anyone “crazy” (Obamacare decides if you’re crazy) or has served in the military will not be allowed to own a gun in the United States.

The news today (not reported in the mainstream media, of course) is that there was a Craigslist ad for Fort Hood “crisis actors,” just about a month ago. There was a “jihad” warning about Fort Hood a day or two before this happened. I have a very hard time believing that another Fort Hood massacre could happen under these circumstances.

The facts don’t matter and never will. Government will act right away–to declare that you’re crazy and to take away your guns. Thanks for serving the United States of America!

At least this time the dumb bastard killed himself. To bad that they just paralyzed that scumbag Hasan when they shot him. It is sad that this happened at Fort Hood again with our precious soldiers having to die and be injured. That and the fact the Obama butt monkeys in the media are falling all over themselves saying that Lopez was in no way linked to terrorism unlike Hasan. Speaking of Obama butt monkeys the Army upper Chain of Command still believes that the soldiers at Fort Hood should not carry guns while on base. We all know that Obama doesn’t really give a rats you know what about the troops and that Hagel and Army Sec. McHugh are dullards. However the JCS Chairman and Army Chief of Staff (both 4 star generals) should know better. I guess those cushy jobs at the Pentagon are just too good with Odimwit as CinC. With that knucklehead(thanks Moochelle) in charge you can expect more “workplace violence” on another military base.

Other possibility (maybe) — I noticed that many if not most of these shooters were on some type of prescription meds in the SSRI family. A look through the PDR shows some pretty hideous side-effects such as homicidal actions, etc. Given what I saw of Army medicine during my career I would not put it past the MEDDAC folks to take the easy way to treatment (give ’em pills) rather than the full spectrum medical / psych support regimen. Just my theory…

Wake up dummies the enemy has systematically hypnotized people like Lopez and the Maryland Naval yard shooter to do these killings.

Their goal is to wear down our society and get guns outlawed so Obummer’s buddy Putin can stroll right in and takeover.

Kendrick on April 4, 2014 at 2:48 am

Since there is no defining ‘Islamic terrorism’and a culture that commands that all views are of equal value in the multicultural view- then the ‘rage’ is equally valued or rather dismissed.
It didn’t happen like this 25 yrs ago, and earlier in America and the west. But the ‘rage’ that would be mentally ill and ‘terrorists’ and illegals-aren’t they deemed ‘undocumented workers’, and the the mentally ill are called ‘disenfrancised’?
We used to call nuts ….. nuts, and serial killers, homicidal evil maniacs.
Now it’s politically incorrect to be so….. hateful, as to name such things or denote the unacceptable status. Now- we have to discuss their ‘issues’. So, normative behavior is
bigoted, and all the losers are the ‘oppressed’, and what you get are a huge collection of sociopaths who are ennabled to take this path to their destruction and a whole bunch of others.

mgoldberg on April 4, 2014 at 7:14 am

This is another shooter who was reportedly on SSRI medications, like most of the non-Mooslim shooters before him. It seems obvious that there is a link between these SSRIs and the phenomenon of mass-killers that show up and start killing people for little apparent reason. The so-called “MSM” doesn’t ever seem to cover this, likely b/c they get big ad money from pharmaceutical companies, and also b/c they like to push their gun-control agenda.

All these crazies who attack government targets are also minorities.

*Islam’s 2nd MAJOR SIN versus Muslims in US Military & State Department*

Why has the Obama administration failed in so many of its responses to Islamic jihad? Why such a tepid American policy of “stand down” whenever a strong military counter-thrust has been called for (as in the infamous Benghazi “stand down,” disarming American soldiers in Afghanistan, officially emasculating the rules of engagement with jihadist Muslims, demanding that US soldiers undergo sensitivity training with respect to encountering Muslims, deliberate deferring any significant retaliation against ISIS, etc.)

The answer lies in the fact that Muslims hold outstandingly significant, intimate positions of decision-making in every chamber of America’s Department of Defense and national security institutions. And the most elementary research on the “Major Sins” of Islam leads us to an undeniable conclusion, based on the fact that Muslim-on-Muslim killing is second-worst of all the major sins in Islam, an utterly unforgivable sin, a sure ticket to eternal damnation.

Let’s not forget that Mohammed divided the world into into 2 camps only: the dar-al-Islam (the world, or “house” of Islam, the Muslims) and the dar-al-Harb (the world or “house” of War, inhabited by the kafir, the non-Muslims). Muslims who have been radicalized into believing in this duality consider themselves to be soldiers first, above all other identities, engaged in a cosmic struggle against the inhabitants of the House of War, who are always on the attack. In any war, it is forbidden for a soldier to harm a fellow soldier in any way. The Mohammed mindset believes that the house of War is always on the attack and that Islam is always the victim and is therefore always on the defensive. Jihad is thus Islam’s “just war” against the world of the kafir, or unbeliever. It follows that deliberately killing a fellow Muslim is killing a soldier of Allah, no different than if a soldier were turn his weapon on a fellow soldier in the same foxhole, the worst form of treason, worse than desertion from the army of Islam, aiding and abetting a determined enemy that is perpetually at war against the house of Islam.

In June, 2007, US Army psychiatrist, Muslim Maj. Nidal Malik Hassan, gave a lecture emphasizing this conflict of loyalties in the Muslim mind, and warning that Muslims within the ranks of the US military could at any time go rogue, react violently against orders directing them to go overseas and participate in the killing of fellow Muslims. In conclusion, he offered the suggestion that the Department of Defense “should allow Muslim soldiers the option of being released as ‘Conscientious objectors’ to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.”

Two and a half years later, on Nov. 5, 2009, Maj. Hasan himself, shouting the Islamic battle-cry, “Allahu-Akbar” repeatedly, massacred 13 members of America’s armed forces at Fort Hood, wounding 32 others. Hasan later declared everlasting allegiance to ISIS. As a result of this jihadist atrocity, the State Department was forced to bow to Maj. Hassan’s warnings concerning Islam’s ruling against Muslim-on-Muslim killing; even to the point of changing the American oath of citizenship this year (2015) to accommodate future Muslims who would otherwise object to serving in the US military on religious grounds, Muslims who could possibly go rogue, forever exempting them from military service.
This is one example of how a kafir-dominant country can capitulate to Islamic terror and institute an Islamic law above its own laws.
This is one example of how a host-country’s carelessness (or complicity) can enable an Islamic law to replace a previously established law in that host county.

Muslim Valerie Jarrett is Obama’s closest advisor. Muslim Huma Abedin is Hillary Clinton’s closest advisor. Muslims in the US government who are members of the Muslim Brotherhood and who hold high-level positions in determining policy, especially military policy, are serving Islam first and the US government second. And their unflinching awareness of the unforgivable sin of killing a fellow Muslim dominates every military decision, every national security decision that they are asked to make. It is these compromised Muslims, so fixed in purpose to avoid putting another Muslim in harm’s way, who are influencing America’s domestic and foreign policy regarding treatment of their fellow Muslims at home and abroad. It is these compromised Muslims that have so intricately put the brakes on the war on terror.

There is thus good reason that all Muslims should be immediately dismissed from all branches of government, including the US State Department, and especially all branches of the US military, including all US intelligence organizations, great and small, for Islamic law dictates that Muslims are obligated to protect, defend, and fight for their own fellow Muslims, too many of whom believe that they are superior to the unbelieving communities in which they live, excluding all other human-rights laws framed by unbelievers in all non-Muslim-majority nations.
