Neo-Nazi Ukraine Protesters’ Fight Ain’t Ours; Fought for Chechen Muslims Incl Boston Tsarnaev Bros; McCain Calls Jew-Hater “Brave”

By Debbie Schlussel

John McCain and Kelly Ayotte want America to get into the fight by Ukrainian protesters against Putin and Russia. And Barack Obama’s sayin’ the same stuff. It ain’t our fight. And it certainly isn’t America’s fight to side with neo-Nazis, who are at the core of what’s going on in Ukraine. Yes, neo-Nazis, many of whom fought with and on behalf of Chechen Muslims. You know, the Boston terrorists’ homies. In case you don’t remember, Ukrainians were among the most brutal, ferocious Nazis. See John Demjanjuk. And they taught their children and grandchildren their Jew-hatred. Ask any Jew from Ukraine (I have several friends who fit that description) why they left, and they’ll tell you about the extreme anti-Semitism endemic there for what seems like forever.

Right Sector Leaders @ Independence Square in Kiev – Note the Muslim Keffiyeh . . .

rightsectorkiev

Dmytro Yarosh, a Right Sector leader, @ Independence Square rally in Kiev, Ukraine, February 21, 2014

Hmmm . . . Vladimir Putin, a once, always, and forever KGB chief, versus neo-Nazis and Islam-enablers? While it’s kind of like Alien v. Predator, I think I’ll stick with Putin. Or, better yet, stay out of it . . . which is absolutely what America should do. We definitely should NEVER side with neo-Nazis. Ever. And don’t put any faith in the Klitschko Bros, including boxing champ, Vladimir, who are trying to lead Ukraine. They proudly hang out and appear with the neo-Nazis. (And do you think it’s “just a coincidence” that the Pussy Riot Russian band of flasher chicks protested in solidarity with the Ukrainians, last week during the Olympics, by wearing masks that looked exactly like those worn by the Munich Olympic Muslim terrorists who murdered the Israeli Olympic team?)

First, there’s Aleksandr Muzychko a/k/a Sashko Bilyi. Head of the leading Ukrainian nationalist group, Right Sector–the most prominent group in the Ukraine protests, he says he’ll “fight Jews and Russians for as long as blood flows” in his veins.

Back in 1994, Muzychko, aka Sashko Bilyi, arrived in Chechnya to join separatist forces. [DS: that means Muslims, including the Tsarnaeve Bros of Boston Marathon fame.] He took part in numerous battles with federal troops, mainly in the capital Grozny, and personally knocked out three tanks, six armored personnel carriers and a SP vehicle.

According to media reports, he led an entire federal forces unit (presumably the marines) into an ambush. As a result, it was destroyed by the Chechen separatists. For his military merits, the notorious Chechen militant leader, general Dzhokhar Dudayev, presented Muzychko with a “Hero of the Nation” award.

From The Washington Post:

The most aggressive element of the opposition is a group calling itself Pravy Sektor [DS: that’s Right Sector], a right-wing nationalist organization that critics liken to Nazis. It was Pravy Sektor that took the initiative in January as political leaders of the opposition wavered and came under criticism for inaction. Its helmeted members marched off the Maidan in Kiev and entered into a street battle with police a few blocks away. They seized the initiative, and that moment paved the way for the much deadlier violence, and then governmental collapse, of this past week.

What to do about Pravy Sektor now is a problem. [Lviv Mayor Andriy] Sadoviy said that the new interior minister has to try to establish communication with them and channel their energy in legal directions. It could be a daunting task, now that so much blood has been shed.

More:

US Senator John McCain dined with opposition leaders this weekend, including the extreme far-right Svoboda party. . . . Senator McCain later waved to protesters from the stage in Independence Square during a mass rally in Kiev, standing with Oleh Tyahnybok, leader of the anti-Semitic Svoboda party. . . .

The party was registered in 1995, initially called the Social National Party of Ukraine and using a swastika style logo. A 1999 report from Tel-Aviv University called the party: “an extremist, right-wing, nationalist organization which emphasizes its identification with the ideology of German National Socialism”. . . . In 2004 leader Oleh Tyahnybok gave a speech attacking what he called “the Moscow-Jewish mafia ruling Ukraine,” and in another speech declared: “the Moskali, Germans, Kikes and other scum who wanted to take away our Ukrainian state.” Despite the controversy his statements attracted in the West, Tyahnybok was voted Person of the Year by readers of Ukrainian news magazine Korrespondent last year.

In another outburst from the party their deputy chief, Ihor Miroshnychenko, wrote an anti-Semitic attack on Mila Kunis on Facebook: “Kunis is not Ukrainian, she is a Yid. She is proud of it, so Star of David be with her.” . . . Out on the streets of Kiev the red and black striped flag of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UIA) is regularly seen carried alongside flags carrying Svoboda’s logo. The UIA flag belongs to an anti-communist force that sought to establish an ethnic nation state under dictatorship during the Second World War. . . .

Public Jewish events celebrating Hanukkah have been cancelled due to fears of violence, with Ukrainian Jewish Committee spokesman Eduard Dolinsky warning: “Increase security everywhere, at every public Jewish place”.

After being pictured on stage at a rally with Fatherland leader, Vitaly Klitschko, and Svoboda’s Oleh Tyahnybok, McCain declared: “Those brave men and women should know that they are not alone. Their friends across the world stand in solidarity with them.”

Who you callin’ “brave,” Senator McCain? Neo-Nazis. That’s who. While your wife and daughter campaigned against California’s Prop 8, calling it “hate,” you hang out with the real hate, and call it “brave.” Disgusting.

The McCains wouldn’t know brave if it stared ’em in the face. And when hate actually stares them in the face, they clearly don’t know that either, since they call it “brave.”

It’s a BS made in Kremlin (the HQ of Soviet KGB colonel Putin). Telling that Neo-Nazi are the core of the revolution in Ukraine is exactly what colonel Putin wants the world to believe. False as usually.
Moscow – that’s the place where fascism is openly active – right under the Kremlin’s windows, not Kiev.

There was an article that Ukrainian Jews are scared and have asked for Israeli Security forces to go protect them. Yeaaaaah Right! They need to come to Israel if they want to live as Jews.

I need to know why there are ANY Jews living in the Ukraine. The Uks are notorious for their hatred of Jews.

Jews still there? Doomed, just like the ones still in Iran. Let the Ukies and Ruskies go at each other. They deserve each other. Predator vs Alien, indeed.

There were many Jews at Maidan. There is much less antisemitism in Ukraine than in Russia.

Mad Jewess… You are typical of the weak. You run off with that whole under your nose, and silence yourself out of fear and/or because the competition is REALLY challenging your value system.
I am an American Soldier, my Soldiers and I fought and died and sacrificed. WE NEVER GAVE UP.. You run and hide.
Do not be like these backseat drivers, sitting behind computers and playing know it all or expert. The critics who analyze/”moderate” the word “the” because they get power rush.

I am not seeking star status. My “associates” are former military and spouses, former and current government employees in agencies who know.
So MadJewess, how intellectually proficient are you?
bcbballmac at yeah who dott comm.

    Now!! To this topic.

Vladimer Putin is a man of character. He continues to out maneuver moulinyan obama.

You see, as Debbie has so bluntly articulated, the neo nazi’s and islam are of the same, womb rejected DNA. However, McCain appears to be lost in his own patheyicism. I can better say it with a child like riddle and limerick:

“McCain & obama, sitting in a tree, F.U.C.K.I.N.G”

That’s right, effing America into the trashcan. Neither of which, has the class or clout to resemble American value and stature. Putin, at this point, is better representing America.

Did I Just Day That??? Hmmmm….

Ok!! In a nutshell. Obama failed in Egypt; failed in Iraq; squandered Iran in fact, appeased Iran; failing Afghanistan; threw Israel into the toilet; murdered four Americans in Benghazi and to cover up further, Clinton says “what difference foes it make” Brian Terry was murdered on mexican border with weapons that HOLDER AND OBAMA provided to Terry’s murderer; has totally ignored Asia as a whole while becoming a butt buddy to muslim trash; is INTENTIONALLY dismantling the United States Armed Forces with the help of puppet senior military officers and the Department of Defense. And the list goes on and on and on and on and…..

That is just foreign policy. Let’s dabble in his FAILED domestic policy..

    Shall we?

So for those of you tunnel worshippers and womb rejected thugs of this obama piece of human inconvenience, who are both ignorant and stupid to comprehend
    failure, here:

Obamacare has destroyed that, which WAS NOT BROKEN, you know, the health insurance that allowef those of us who EARNED it, to maintain our health and yes, the insurance industry itself, is what needed to be brought down and overhauled.
When that little thug trayvon martin took a bullet, obama was all over it, you knoe po lil black boy yet everybody who cried THEE RACE CARD, not one of them was there. But, their psychic abilities psyed off. A garbage race.

When a White American Soldier was attacked INTENTIONALLY AND BECAUSE HE WAS WHITE, where was that filthy bastard who defended that martin thug? And, here is the key, THE WHITE AMERICAN SOLDIER was with fellow Soldiers WHO WITNESSED THIS HATE CRIME.

Obama and his flatulence, his administration, have destroyed American jobs in every aspect, steeling money from taxpayers, hired the IRS to gun down republicans mainly because theg smell his shit a mile away and unlike his supporters, have intellectual values not to mention most republicans are white…

So if Putin is batting a thousand versus obama, and if McCain, Kerry anf yheir idiotic boss want to support these two legged trashcans like they supported the muslom brotherhood in Egypt.. we need to habe their ass….

Oh, by the way, the video that was supposed to be the culprit that killed 4 Americans in Benghazi, is now VERY HARD TO FIND…… As for the Ukraine, Putins got it…

At the risk of getting flack and alienating the regulars: Jews stand alone, as they have before and as they always will.

With friends like McCain, Ayotte and Boom Barack-a-laka Boom (like Balfour, Roosevelt and Chruchill in the past), they have enough enemies as it is.

They saved themselves in WWII. They should be able to save themselves ASAP if they were to survive.

My 2-cents, rounded off to the nearest nickel.

The Reverend Jacques on February 26, 2014 at 4:26 pm

NO flack from me, Rev. I totally agree and have been saying it for years. We need to stop relying on men, even our own secular leaders. We have only Hashem and He will show that to us, no matter how dire the consequences. Jews didn’t cause the Holocaust and they didn’t bring it on themselves but there were “rabbis” telling the people in those countries not to fear the government and to stay put and trust Hashem to deal with them. Well, the ones who stayed for the most part perished and the one’s who left survived. There’s a thin line between trust in God and magical thinking. When you’re not sure, rely on the brains and common sense He gave you, not the words of some “rabbi.”

Meira on February 27, 2014 at 3:49 am

Russia is right to take a stand against fascism and anti-Semitism.

A regime that tramples underfoot signed agreements, that used street violence to oust the democratically elected government of the country and which withdrew rights from its national minorities is not one the West should side with.

We have all seen what happened with Western appeasement and the ill-fated Soviet deal with Hitler. Millions of lives where lost. The conflict in Ukraine is not our fight – and yes, Russia will keep it because it the historical center of Russian and Slavic civilization.

America should mind its own business and we’re not looking to get into a fight with Russia for a distant country in which we have no strategic interest. And Obama’s pitiful threats merely show Moscow it can go ahead and do what it wants. We have no credibility with our allies while the Russians are all business when their interests are imperiled.

Obama is no match for Putin in the grand game of geopolitical chess.

NormanF on February 26, 2014 at 4:34 pm

I am shocked that anyone with purported patriotic values would not want to support the cause of the neo-nazi ukies in their fight against communists and people who practice Judaism (or even if they don’t practice it). In fact, the US Government should not only give moral and financial support for these heroic freedom fighters, but should be fully committed to the cause by sending in US troops to help them to win this war, regardless of the cost in human lives or the vast financial expenditures.

In fact, I would like to see a draft instated so that we can demonstrate our commitment to the neo-nazi ukies. And if any of our young people should try to become draft dodgers because they are unwilling to fulfill their patriotic duty to the principles upon which this great nation has been founded on, they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Ain’t that right, “patriots,” “conservatives,” “anti-communists,” or any others who like to wrap themselves in the US flag?

Here we go again, interfering in foreign affairs that we should stay out of. Let’s send our kids into yet another Hornet’s nest so they can die. In addition let’s alienate the Russians. I find this interesting when the SECDEF is implementing cutbacks in our military, yet we may be heading into another military and diplomatic misadventure by sending our forces to the Ukraine.

BTW

Who pays for this expedition?

Peter on February 26, 2014 at 6:01 pm

Meanwhile, another so-called “conservative” – Jeffrey Kuhner – has also been taking the Ukranian neo-Nazis’ side, saying of course they should join the European Union and calling this unrest an “Orange Revolution.” (But then, he’s also propagandized for the Croatians who fought on the side of the Nazis against the Serbs in WWII, so what else is new?) He frankly belongs up there with Medved and Hewitt in terms of this issue.

ConcernedPatriot on February 26, 2014 at 6:38 pm

Never underestimate the abject stupidity of American mainstream “conservatives” who believe that because Putin is autocratic — and a Russian! — he must be against freedom lovers everywhere, including those in the Ukraine. It’s a triumph of sentiment over hard-headed realism. And it can get a lot of Americans, and Jews, killed. These people are hopelessly naive (or worse) about Eastern European affairs. As with the “Arab Spring,” they see rebels armed with faux-democratic rhetoric as noble and worthy of U.S. support.

As for me, if I support any Ukrainians, it will be Valeria Lukyanova, the “Human Barbie Doll.” Or maybe Ukrainian-American ethnic movie actress Vera Farmiga.

Oh, yes. Senator McCain is an idiot.

Seek on February 26, 2014 at 7:20 pm

I’ve been saying it for days now – the Ukrainian protestors are more like our OWS than our freedom fighting colonists. And that pretty blond lady they’ve pulled out of the pokey to be their replacement leader is just as bad as the guy she’s replacing.

Ruckus_Tom on February 26, 2014 at 7:40 pm

You know, it is a VERY interesting coincidence that these countries that have ingrained, moronic hate for Jews also tend to be crapholes for everyone else. The people in Eastern Europe may not have freedom, modern technology or even flushing toilets, but that won’t stop them from fighting against the jooooz.

Also, why would Jews actually be stupid enough to live in a place where they are hated so much pretty much everyone wants to kill them…AFTER they’ve been slaughtered so many times.

Its like a fox who’s lost his paw to a hungry wolf going back to the wolf and saying “my other paw is cold, would you let me put it in your mouth so I can keep it warm?” Hate to say it, but natural selection at work. You can’t have too much sympathy for the fox.

Sam on February 26, 2014 at 8:37 pm

I think this is a tremendously valuable column. Tentatively, though, I have to disagree with others here overall.

Obviously, I agree–how could I not?–with the fully appropriate ridicule of various “conservative” pundits, politicians, and “journalists” who turn a Ukraine opposition into a bunch of admirable democratic freedom fighters. What I can’t agree with is that we should side with Putin.

First, Russia (as very many Jews here know) is profoundly anti-Semitic, as was the USSR before it, as was . . . Russia before that. The Protocols didn’t come from Ukraine. Nor did Russian Jews love Russia so much that they wanted to stay there. So, I don’t see how anti-Semitism should swing our opinion. True, Russian leaders don’t march around with swastikas. But that has everything to do with Hitler driving Stalin to the Allies and all the Soviet “Great Patriotic War” propaganda.

Second, we should not look forward to any recreation of a union between Russia and any of its former Soviet Socialist Republics or its former Pact members. Ukraine is no threat to us regardless of its citizens’ anti-Semitism.

Third and related, I’d like to see Putin’s regime destabilized if it can be done cheaply.

Just as Putin aids Muslims that are useful to him while rightly killing Chechen and other Muslims that are not useful to him, so we need to have an anti-Muslim policy overall AND an anti-Russia policy. We can deal with the Tsarnaevs by not letting them into our country (and perhaps paying attention to Putin if he tells us some guys are trouble).

Because I so rarely disagree with Debbie on this kind of issue, I am less confident than I ordinarily would be in the argument I’ve made here. Still, as no one is making it so far (and there are plenty of Contrary Marys here), I thought I needed to make it myself.

Getting involved in Ukraine makes about as much sense as getting involved in Syria in my opinion and the same basic crew of people are cheerleading for what’s happening there.

McCain went off the deep end ages ago and has probably been compromised because nobody can be that stupid.

The links to neo-nazi groups are very disturbing and even more so because there is so little coverage of them in the media as far as I’ve noticed.

Frankz on February 26, 2014 at 9:29 pm

You are correct, Frankz! What is it with this MacCain?! As long as any scumbag happens not to like V.V.Putin, he is embracing him or her! As if Putin is the very worst thing, when we have Jihad, Dar-al-Islam, etc.
It was great for Jewish religious leaders to condemn without reservation the original “P…Riot” shindig at the Cathedral. Don’t this whores and pubic actresses know how inappropriate is to dress like Arab terrorists at Olympics?!

Lev on February 27, 2014 at 1:03 am

Without getting confrontational skzion.

Destabilization of Russia would be a disaster(I think there are attempts to do it cheaply) and your “anti-Muslim overall” policy would end being completely irrelevant.
It’s a nice idea. Who do you think would implement it though? The same people backing Al Qaeda insurgents in Syria?

America’s foreign policy is a joke at the moment in case you hadn’t noticed.
Nobody takes the US seriously any more. Certainly nobody in the Middle East, Russia or China. All the US is good for at the moment is creating “cheap” trouble alongside Europe with its media legacy influence.
Gives me no pleasure to say it but that’s where we are.

All that happens in your scenario is that groups like the Chechen separatists make huge advances alongside their neo-Nazi counterparts who are one and the same kind of people. They are in fact interchangeable.

This happens while you try to batten down the hatches at home and implement your imaginary no-entry Tsarnaevs policy.

It seems to me you’re trying to play grand architect without controlling any of the pieces on the board.

Therefore I have to say I don’t think much of your destabilize Putin’s Russia policy.

Frankz on February 26, 2014 at 9:57 pm

Frankz, I see you do not dispute my suggestion that consideration of anti-Semitism doesn’t make sense here (my first point). The material I’ve quoted from you is as relevant for a pro-Putin policy as for an anti-Putin policy. The same jokers would be “implementing” policy. In other words, it makes no sense even to discuss a pro-Putin policy, let alone advocate one, as such a policy would be completely discounted. (Putin has no need for an irrelevant promise of support any more than he would fear an irrelevant promise of opposition.) So should we just avoid discussing foreign policy?

The Puke-rainians were the ones that outed their Jewish “friends” and neighbors (who lived with them in the small shtetls) to the Nazis. The Ukrainians were more cruel than the Nazis. 1. http://buzzready.tv/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/TD6Nory.jpg

and . . .

Ralph Adamo on February 26, 2014 at 10:44 pm

Senator McCain later waved to protesters from the stage in Independence Square during a mass rally in Kiev, standing with Oleh Tyahnybok, leader of the anti-Semitic Svoboda party. (See pictures above.)

Svoboda, meaning “freedom,” has been enjoying a boom in success in recent years winning their first parliamentary seats in 2010, taking just over 10 per cent of the vote to become Ukraine’s fourth biggest party with 36 seats out of 450.

The ultra-nationalist group is aligned with other European far-right parties including the BNP, but their radical stance has made them a central force in the ongoing street protests.

The party was registered in 1995, initially called the Social National Party of Ukraine and using a swastika style logo.

A 1999 report from Tel-Aviv University called the party: “an extremist, right-wing, nationalist organization which emphasizes its identification with the ideology of German National Socialism”.

Although these neo-Nazi ukies are anti-Semitic to the nth degree, the US must nonetheless support them fully, and even commit our troops to the ground to support their cause because they are, after all, anti-communist.

And even if their brand of fascism is just as bad or worse than communism, we must all stand by our principles and support them in every way that we can, emotionally, morally, spiritually, financially, and militarily. I’m sure the many “anti-communist,” “conservative,” and “flag-waving” hoi polloi on this message board agree with me, at least in principle.

And further, I’m sure that they would also agree that if a draft were created to force Americans to wage war on behalf of the neo-nazi ukies, or any neo-nazis for that matter, they would agree that anyone who expresses civil disobedience by refusing to serve in the military to wage these wars is despicable, heinous, anti-American, and just plain evil, right? I mean, these are the “principles” that so many here stand by, right?

And if you are still not convinced of these “principles,” then perhaps you will swallow my “domino theory.” This theory holds that if the communists get total control of the Ukraine, they will expand to infiltrate and take over other neighboring nations. This theory proved to be absolutely correct in Vietnam, didn’t it?

Ralph Adamo on February 26, 2014 at 11:00 pm

Finally, I would like to add that I am shocked that little al, frankz, and others of their ilk would spit on the face of John McCain, who has served honorably in Vietnam. Such leftist political positions must not be tolerated.

The current U.S. regime WILL get into bed with neo Nazis if it furthers their new world order agenda. Just like they will support the Muslim brotherhood and Al Quaeda. The neo Nazi types in western Ukraine are mostly acting up because they are anti Russian and want to be part of the E.U. The west and the E.U. is using those people as “useful idiots” and will try to discard them when their usefulness is no longer needed. Ukraine is right under the shadow of Russia and Russia is not going to take kindly to interference. And they sure aren’t going to give up that port. I know overseas that the conservative/liberal labels are often opposite of ours, but when written in our newspapers and reported on our tv news, labeling these extreme grouos as “right-wing” just adds to the false ant-conservative narrative. These hate groups are extreme LEFTIST groups.

Debbie, I don’t agree with you often, but I must give you kudos on this one! Thank you for bringing out what the mainstream media seems to be ignoring….the strong Neo-Nazi/anti-semitic element that is playing a major role in the recent events in the Ukraine. This “element” has gained a stronghold in Russia and is rapidly expanding across that region of the world.

Dtrain on February 27, 2014 at 4:46 pm

Ralph sez:

“Although these neo-Nazi ukies are anti-Semitic to the nth degree, the US must nonetheless support them fully, and even commit our troops to the ground to support their cause because they are, after all, anti-communist.

And even if their brand of fascism is just as bad or worse than communism, we must all stand by our principles and support them in every way that we can, [blah blah blah]

And further, I’m sure that they would also agree that if a draft [blah blah blah]

What is it with the looooong, unfunny, sarcastic comments lately, Ralph? Anyone with a knowledge of Imperial Russia would know how it swept various lands into its control just as, later, the USSR did. Communism is not a constant here; Russian imperialism is. Your silly snark regarding dominoes couldn’t be less apt when dealing with perhaps the world’s most reliable imperialist power.

The problem with Vietnam was that it was resource intensive for the US, including stupid tactics costing many lives, and the horses from the main barns (Eastern Europe & China) had already left them (i.e., these countries were already communist). At that point, it’s hard to justify anything resource intensive with the exception of Western Europe.

I suppose, Ralph, that you also thought that Reagan’s efforts to bring down the USSR were also silly. Hey, it wasn’t our fight.

I am advocating a Semi-Cold-War policy on Russia because it seems to me that this is historically warranted. Naturally, we cannot implement anything with Barry Hussein in office.

    Soviet-Union is gone, dumbass.

Russian land belongs to Russia, simple as that.

If Ukrainians who fight for The Ukraine being a Ukrainian homeland with Ukrainian self-determination are considered “neo-nazis,” then Jews who advocate for Israel being a Jewish state as “neo-nazis” as well.

Equating European nationalists to “neo-nazis” is dishonest and shows a complete lack of regard for the interest of ethnic Europeans and actually seeks to silence the ones who stand up for themselves which is nothing short of totalitarian.

    PE, as I recall, you’re a nasty anti-Semite.

skzion on March 2, 2014 at 1:36 pm

Both Ukraine and Russia have their anti-semites.

But Russia is potentially a more problematic nation for Jews since Russia is a world power and Ukraine is not.

Russia all around the world is at least indirectly causing problems for Jews. Russia’s pumping arms into Syria is very concerning to Israel. Russia giving nuke materials and know-how to IRAN is very worrying to Israel

Also lets not forget that Russia gave the GREEN LIGHT for Nazi Germany to start WWII (along with Russia as a partner) as per Russia’ 1939 FRIENDSHIP Molotov-Ribbentrop pact with its pal at the time Nazi Germany. As per this Friendship pact with Nazi Germany…..Russia gave two years of fuel and war resources to Nazi Germany when Germany had only a month’s worth of war resources. Also Moscow/Stalin helped round up Jews for Hitler.

Google “Molotov-Ribbentrop pact” and “Soviet Story” for more information on the treacherous behavior of Russia in the first two years of WWII. The ONLY reason why Russia helped Jews in the later part of WWII (freeing concentration camps) is because Germany turned on Russia.

You do realize Stalin have been dead for over 60 years now, right? That Stalinism came to an end in the Soviet-Union, which in turn came to an end a few decades later, on December 25th 1991?

The north-west part have the legacy of being part of the Polish-Lithuanian thingy for a few hundreds years but Ukraine is not just a part of Russia, it is pretty much the historical center of Russia, very much like the 13 colonies for the US.

Who founded the ukrainian SSR, BTW? That is right, Lenin and fellow Bolcheviks did, divide and rule Russian lands.
Just like the Bolckeviks attempts to create a separate ukrainian identity ended badly in 1932, same starts to happen today, good riddance.

Problems for jews? That is the kind of things that muslim viewing this website will use very well.

Worry on February 28, 2014 at 7:44 am

This is truly very scary. We have problems with Obama but would John McInsane have been any better? He supports the same people. To think Nazis are taking over Europe again so openly and persecuting Jews on a nationwide basis is startling. Then to have the USA actually siding with them is even more so. What sort of people are leading us in DC? They don’t seem like Americans or sane people. I think we have puppets being controlled by neo-Nazis running this country as well.

McCain is visibly out of his mind and Obama just likes to party, hang out and try to look cool. This is what is in charge here. Meanwhile Russia is taking this very seriously and taking offense to the US threats. They want to recall their ambassador and they have a spy war frigate off of Cuba suddenly.

Okay someone in DC must have the same information we get off the net, so why are they continuing in this vein? The USA has no business in this conflict. If anything we should be for the other side that was removed.

Yes, Worry. This was all predictable.

skzion on March 3, 2014 at 5:35 pm

Senator McCain and my interpretations of “freedom fighters” are at at 180 degrees polar opposites. This guy seems to stick his foot in his mouth or his ass from claiming that Al-Qaeda fighters in Syria are freedom fighters and their chant of Allahu Akbar was their version of our God Bless. This guy needs to be voted out of office. Never thought I would type this but he does need to step down. I agree with you Debbie about staying out this and let the Communist(Putin)and the Fascists (Right Sector)battle it out with each other.

Mario on March 3, 2014 at 8:36 pm

Yes, the situation in the Ukraine is very much a case of “Alien vs Predator” as there are no “good guys” over there… Very much like the situation in Syria…

HOWEVER, the thing here is US credibility… The US under Clinton (together with the UK and Russia) have guaranteed Ukraine’s security… If the US does nothing or otherwise allows Russia to gobble up the Crimean peninsula (and/or whatever other Ukrainian territories) then no US ally (e.g. South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Israel) will be able to trust the US going forward…
