Border Patrol Hating, Hezbollah Supporting GOP Rep. for California Statewide Office?

By
Uh-Oh. Hezbollah supporting, Border Patrol hating U.S. Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) a/k/a “Jihad Darrell” is being talked up again as a potential candidate for statewide office in California.
Jihad Darrell, the multi-millionaire who constantly praised then-Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat (for having nice little hands and a great sense of humor!) at the height of Intifada violence and right after the Passover massacre, is mentioned in an article in The Hill, which focuses on liberal Dem Rep. Jane Harman’s possible run for California statewide office.
Jihad Darrell, who is tight with terror host state Syria, got a ticket for speeding at the border. He responded with a “Do you know who I am?” redux, but the brave Border Patrol agent gave him the ticket anyway. Issa then tried to deunionize the Border Patrol (there was no DHS then) and is continuing to try to shut down Border Patrol checkpoints and offices at various points in his district. Jihad Darrell pretends he is for tougher immigration laws and enforcement, but the opposite is true.

Jihad Darrell Issa: Crybaby, pro-Hezbollah, anti-Border Patrol Republican

No surprise, given that the Jihadist Congressman has lied throughout his career–about his spotty military record, about how he stole his business from its founder in a tricky court maneuver, about his criminal past, mysterious arson at his company’s buildings, holding an employee at gunpoint, etc., etc., etc.
If Issa is the best the GOP has to offer in California besides an aging “Conan the Barbarian” movie star, the party is in trouble. Rep. Mary Bono is also mentioned on the GOP side.
Great. Sonny’s last wife and Jihad Darrell, as the country’s largest state’s best Republicans. No wonder the GOP keeps losing there.
We think the best of the bunch is State Senator Tom McClintock, a true conservative. We’d love to see him win his bid for Lt. Governor (as a start). We only wish he lived in Michigan, so we could vote for him.

I have been saying this for 10 years, Debbie. California has more conservatives in this state than people realize. There are enough here to turn the tide of the liberal wave of cess, but we’re always given such stellar choices like Darrell Issa. Darrell Issa is the State Assemblyman in the next district north of me (76th), I live in the 74th. I can never understand how this guy continues to get re-elected, and now could possibly have enough support behind him to make a run at a congressional or senate seat. This guy is an embarrassment, and I don’t think the people in his district really know who the hell this guy is! They just vote “anyone but the Democrat” without thinking.

I’ve heard of that McClintock guy. I kinda like him. Great work, Debbie.

That is the problem with safe districts. California republicans sold their soles the last two reaportionments in return for safe districts.
The only reason to vote republican is democrats.

Well we have a governor who is a moron, he bans .500 caliber ammos ( http://www.barrettrifles.com ) so the ammo manufactures made a .499. We’re having special elections but Arnold SSchwarzenegger would rather spend millions on elections and allow multinational corporations to be in California, live off taxpayers money than to support its people. He also flips flops on true conservative issues and conservatives are protesting him. Issa is his Arnie’s Lapdog and I’m getting word that Issa, with the left party and Arnold wants to ban bolt-action rifles.
Is Michigan accepting new immigrants from California?

Hezbolla supporting, border patrol hating…

For an example of a bad Republican/conservative, we have Darrel Issa, who’s now running for office in California.

While from a relative standpoint to your views Jane Harman may be considered a “lefty”, she is hardly a liberal compared to most in the Democratic party.
She is one of the few non-Southerners to be on the Blue Dog coalition of “conservative Democrats” and has very pro-Iraq war and pro “war on terrorism” views.
On social/enviromental issues she is more centrist and sometimes fairly liberal, but again most in the Democratic party consider her to at the very least be more conservative then most Democrats, somewhat like Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. Some even consider her to be to the right of Arnie at least on average (I know he is pretty liberal for a Republican, but just making a point).
Not an endorsement (I’m not from Calif. anyway and don’t really know all the candidates), just setting the facts straight.

Hairymon, if you love your freedom, stay out of California.
