SPOT ON! Cartoon of the Week – Must View

By Debbie Schlussel

While Homeland Security keeps preaching what they don’t really mean (especially in light of this weekend’s Superbowl)–“If you see something, say something”–this Dilbert cartoon, below, is a spot on statement about what really typically happens all over America today, including in the Department of Homeland Security. Thanks to reader “T” for sending.

Hi Debbie!
I have a friend who is a high level executive in the HR deparment of a well known IT company. Many of their IT engineers are in Mumbai India and she finds it difficult to work with them.

    Imagine that.

Because they aren’t used to being bossed by women. Muslims are a minority in India, still.

Superbowl half time show will have more fireworks then they planned for this year. I’m amazed not only at the unethical greed for money in this country but also the stupidity of our own governments security apparatus, HLS, NSA,FBI…. etc, which fails to heed all warning signs to apprehend so many terrorist cells operating in mosques that are rapidly built all over America today. But when we take in to consideration the love and pampering B.O. spoils them with I suppose I shouldn’t be.

It’s the nature of government offices to cause what they’re mandated to prevent and to prevent what they’re mandated to cause. Once you understand that, it’s easy.

This is a great observation. How I understand government is they/it does not like you, so anything they do or say or any program such as Obamacare or Patriot act is not done for the people, it’s done for the government AGAINST the people.

The Mollusks will be up in arms, issuing fatwas and screeching for blood and death on that one.

Like the joke about the American who was suicidal and called the Suicide Prevention Hotline to get help. However he was unaware that the organization had outsourced their telephone operations to Pakistan. When the man told the operator of his desire to kill himself the operator gleefully asked if him if he could drive a truck!

Dilbert should have suggested to PHB to outsource that work to Pakistan. Or Bangladesh.

I had no idea that Scott Adams has such kajunes

Reminds me of a great comic bit by Dave Attell, discussing how Security should be looking for real threats on air flights, say, guys like this: “What is the first name of the ticket buyer, sir?”

“Joe.”

“What’s that, again?”

” ‘J’ for “Jihad,” ‘O’ for “Overthrow your government…”

Scott Adams has passed more than a little wisdom on to me over the years with his DILBERT cartoon.

If you walk into the office of a large business entity and you see DILBERT cartoons all over the place, you know there is a morale problem among the workers. It’s a dead giveaway.
