Chris ChrispieCreme: Of Course Gov HAMASfan Knew About Bridge Lane Shutdown

By Debbie Schlussel

Of course, Chris Chrispiecreme a/k/a Chris Christie knew about the George Washington Bridge lane shutdowns. He was in on it, and it had his full approval. If you believe the Gluttonous Gov’s denials, I have a bridge to sell you . . . the lanes of which were shut down for a “study/survey.” ChrispieCreme has a history of bullying and payback, and a history of behaving like an oafish, fat spoiled kid. He’s childish. This ain’t new. It’s just Christie. (I suppose, though, that since former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal just announced that he believes Christie was unaware, that is the final word!)

colclink.jpg

Halal Egomaniac ChrispieCreme Definitely Knew About the Bridge Shutdown, Probably Ordered It With the Zeal He Salivates Over a Twinkie

And while some have compared the bridge scandal to Obama’s outrageous IRS harassment of tea party and conservative non-profits, this is worse because it might have cost lives. What if an emergency crew needed to get over that bridge to save someone? That someone would have died in the hours-long crawl of traffic. It would have been a great time and opportunity for one of egomaniacal ChrispieCreme’s Islamic terrorist pals to bomb the bridge and kill who knows how many thousands?

Whenever an elected official gives an interminably long press conference–as ChrispieCreme did today–claiming, “I didn’t know,” he knew. Whenever he fires his Chief of Staff who was clearly pulling the strings, that person is the fall guy. Christie knew. And if–by the unbelievable chance he did not know–that shows his incompetence and inability to be an effective governor. If a major bridge shuts down in the state you run because people under your control close all but one lane to do a “survey,” it doesn’t matter if you knew. It shows you made poor choices in staffing and hiring and confidant selection, and that you are so out of touch with what’s going on that it didn’t occur to you to look into it and put the kabosh on the “study/survey” and open the lanes. So Christie failed, even if he didn’t know. But we all know he knew. If you don’t think he knew, like I said: bridge for sale.

This is a guy who picks HAMAS supporters for judges. This is a guy who gets in the way of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s legitimate deportation efforts when they try to remove an admitted HAMAS terrorist and fundraiser from U.S. shores. Frankly, that’s more important–and much more of a disqualifier, or should be–in ChrispieCreme’s Presidential White House kitchen donut dreams. But no one seems to care about that. Yet, those incidents indicate Christie was in on the bridge debacle. Christie attacked critics, including me–who objected to his HAMAS judge and his blocking of the deportation of HAMAS terrorist Mohammed Qatanani–“crazies.” Because that’s how he reacts, like a child, like a big, fat donut addict with zero maturity and zero discipline to do the right thing, to consider the facts, to worry about what’s good for America, rather than what’s good for the sector of voters who might serve him up a halal donut.

Chris Christie knew about the bridge. He likely ordered the shutdown of most of the lanes at rush hour. That’s the kind of stuff he’s always done–his whole career. He doesn’t care about what’s right. He cares about what’s good for Christie and Christie only. And he does what’s easy. And he’s out of control. That’s why he got gastric bypass surgery to shrink his stomach. ‘Cuz the guy couldn’t exercise even a modicum of self-control and STOP EATING and start exercising. He’s a lazy schmuck. A calculating scumbag and a slob at the same time. Nothing happens in that Governor’s office that he doesn’t both know about and approve (and control).

Chris ChrispieCreme should resign, but, sadly, this fathead may be the GOP nominee in 2016, and Hillary Clinton will eat him for lunch, along with his donuts.

I guess I will have to throw my 2016 White House vote away on whichever nut is the Libertarian Party candidate for Prez, because I will NEVER vote for ChrispieCreme. You pick a HAMAS supporter for judge, you block deportation of an admitted HAMAS terrorist who raises money to blow innocent people up, you’ve lost any chance to ever get my vote, despite what the fools tell me about, “well, you gotta vote for him to stop Hillary.” Nuh-uh, I don’t.

Let’s hope Ted Cruz transcends him so I can vote for someone who truly deserves to be in the White House.

BEHEADED BODIES OF 50 SYRIAN CITIZENS FOUND IN ALEPPO AFTER OBAMA-BACKED JIHADISTS WITHDRAW FROM AREA

Where are the Congressional hearings on Obama’s support of these savages? The silence of the media is bloodcurdling.

Obama wanted to wage military strikes on behalf of these jihadists. But the leader from behind had no one in front of him so he moved on to his next debacle…..taking down Israel.

The money quote in this article is the last line, “Washington has remained indifferent to warnings by Russia and other world powers about the consequences of arming militant groups.”

“Beheaded Bodies of 50 Syrian Citizens Found in Aleppo,” Ahlul Bayt News Agency, January 9, 2014
Beheaded Bodies of 50 Syrian Citizens Found in Aleppo

The corpses of 50 beheaded Syrian citizens and several reporters of the Al-Nusra Front have been discovered in Al-Ayoun Hospital after withdrawal of the militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) from the area.

Mohammad Qaranieh known as Seifollah, a reporter affiliated to the Al-Nusra Front, has also been identified among the bodies.

The conflict in Syria started in March 2011, when sporadic pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of western and regional states.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.

Washington has remained indifferent to warnings by Russia and other world powers about the consequences of arming militant groups.

I was at the gym the morning and seen some of his press conference as I was finishing. D.S I guess you found a sucker to buy that bridge you’re selling because I believed him.

I was about to come on here and give him props for delivering a sound mea culpa, but I guess there is much for me to learn about C.C. I admit though I don’t much about the man, but he sounded convincing. I suppose I’m a sucka because its hard to believe someone would be so petty as to seek revenge for not supporting him. However you state that this is his character and always has been. Good to know.

BD: Remember, politics is showbiz for ugly people and has just as many working actors in it, probably more. DS

Big D on January 9, 2014 at 3:09 pm

“he sounded convincing.”? Convincing? Someone once spoke to the effect that, the blind naiveté of the innocent makes them most efficient tool of the malevolent spirit.

Although the thing might have been successfully done, I wonder if Governor Christie shouldn’t maybe stick to opening his mouth for pie and donuts, . . . for all the practice he’s had in prevarication, I would say, he’s still just a rather poor liar:

There is a common character attribute—a flaw—and in one place recognition was given by Shakespeare, in which Hamlet says: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”, . . . well, . . . methinks the large Gov. Christie breathes a new stench into it, . . . in just one speech, 25 uses of “sad”, . . . 25. I guess it’s another case of the old: “If you don’t believe me. I’ll say it again.”, . . .

But in a larger way, similarly, not ever did Hitler give orders which spoke to genocide, directly. That not withstanding, early on, he simply advance the careers of those who actually did give the orders to design and build “the camps”, and who organized and initiated the riots and so forth, . . . Goering, and Himmler, . . . well, . . . children, . . . and, all human beings can see and tell which side of the bread the butter is on, . . . So much of what went on, Hitler simply was not informed of, . . . and of course, neither is Obama, . . . and, . . . neither is Governor Christie, . . .

Phillip Galey on January 10, 2014 at 10:44 pm

. . . . and Colonel (“I don’t know nothingk.”) Klenck? Yes, well about half the time, most sincerely he did not know, . . .

Phillip Galey on January 10, 2014 at 10:47 pm

Four days? Even if he didn’t know at first (and of course I agree that he did), it would not possibly have taken four days to find out that this exceedingly disruptive event was just political payback. A major glitch during the opening of school and he couldn’t figure it out in four days?

I know the donuts taste good, but sometime in that four days he should have been able to figure it out (as I said, I know that he knew & approved it ahead of time.)

I think he’s had it though. Maybe the Republicans will nominate an illegal alien to run for President. If they can be lawyers know, why not political officeholders?

Little Al on January 9, 2014 at 3:21 pm

In 2008 I tried predicting the Repub nominee for pres and I said I have no idea, but for sure, it won’t be McCain. I was close to making a comment on here that Christie doesn’t have a chance to win the Repub nomination in 2016, but my predictions have been so bad, that I’m not making any more. It doesn’t seem to make sense that the Repubs would choose a traitor to the party and to the country’s best interests as a prez nominee, but it happened in 2008 and it can happen again.

David on January 9, 2014 at 3:31 pm

I’m no big Christie fan even though I voted for him, but I think you – Debbie – are getting hysterical.

No EMS team would have to cross the GW bridge. If someone in Fort Lee was sick they would be taken to a hospital in NJ Like Holy Name not a hospital in Manhattan.

This “scandal” is all about knocking out one of Hillary’s potetnial rivals. Chicago style. The funny thing is I don’t believe Christie was ever going to run.

P: Wow, are you ever clueless! You don’t think Christie was going to run when he suddenly got stomach stapling surgery (b/c Americans won’t vote for a morbidly obese slob) and has all but announced? You have no idea about whether they might have needed to get EMS ON the bridge b/c someone had a heart attack. In fact, police were blocked from going over the bridge in an investigation of a missing child. And EMS says four 911 calls were delayed, including a 91-year-old woman who had a heart attack and died when she finally got to the hospital. This was brought up at Chrispiecreme’s press conference today, and he said, “well, the cause of death is debatable.”

How sad that you are partisan on this and worried about his chances against Hillary. Given your excuses, I guess Obama’s IRS harassment of conservatives is okay, too, and those who are rightfully upset over it are just “hysterical,” an easy insult to sling without any backing. The only Chicago-style stuff here was Christie and his staff shutting down the bridge to get back at an opponent. That is big government statism crap no different than what the Soviets used to do. Funny how many of your comments on this site are negative, pointless rants against me and my writing. So, I guess you think Christie’s coddling of HAMAS terrorists and appointing their supporters as judges is okay. SAD. DS

Pete on January 9, 2014 at 3:44 pm

Christie is also a gun-banner. No votes from me, no votes from any NRA member. He’s a loser and shouldn’t run.

L: Not only is Christie anti-Second Amendment, but he is pro-global warming, supports illegal alien in-state tuition, and so on. There is NOTHING conservative or Republican about him (other than that establishment liberal Repubs want him as their ’16 Prez candidate). Being a fat bully doesn’t equal “conservative.” DS

luagha on January 9, 2014 at 4:07 pm

    Debbie:

In fact, Christie just gave New Jersey’s illegal aliens an amnesty a la the DREAM Act.

Any one who puts illegal aliens in consideration above Americans will never get MY vote!

I believe in securing our country’s borders. Christie couldn’t care less about that than he did when he shut down Washington Bridge in his own state.

The guy is an opportunistic scumbag and political sociopath to boot.

NormanF on January 9, 2014 at 8:59 pm

Yeah, I read that he just signed the illegal alien in-state tuition bill today. Got to stay in step with the rest of the Republicans.

Little Al on January 9, 2014 at 4:25 pm

Someone DID die. A 91 year old woman by the name of Florence Genova died after the ambulance was delayed due to the George Washington Bridge closure.

Paula Malka on January 9, 2014 at 4:34 pm

I agree DS,I’ll never vote for him ever for anything. I’ve voted in 14 presidential elections and the sad thing to me is that of those 14 elections 12 were votes against what I considered the greater evil to the country; not votes actually in favor of the idiots I did cast the vote.

RA2216 on January 9, 2014 at 4:41 pm

Notwithstanding that Christie is hardly anybody’s idea of a “conservative” (especially his support of HAMAS supporters), one factor in why some people are in arms over the coverage of this Bridge scandal has been the selfsame media saying zilch over the numerous Obama scandals (not just the IRS harassment of Tea Party and conservative non-profit groups, but also Fast & Furious and Benghazi [and the death counts from both incidents], his retributory vendetta against Arizona over his efforts to stuff that state with illegals, his and Holder’s tying the hands of states trying to get control over voter fraud, and so on); plus the Fort Lee mayor going on MSNBC to speak about this. But as Debbie has noted in this case . . . “Crispy-Creme” Christie knew and was in on it from the start. And her latest variation on the old “I have a bridge to sell you” routine is priceless.

CP: The mainstream media was all over the IRS harassment of conservative groups. I read and saw reports on it for days when the story first broke–all of ’em in the mainstream media. Not so on the other stories, but you can’t really say that on the IRS stuff. That was all over the place. In fact, CBS News and NBC News did groundbreaking stories on it. DS

Listening to the marathon press conference this morning on one of the NYC all-news radio stations, I heard Christie use the phrase “callous indifference” at least twice, either in that form or each word used separately. Does anybody have a final count over how many times he used those words?

ConcernedPatriot on January 9, 2014 at 5:24 pm

DS_ROCKS! on January 9, 2014 at 5:36 pm

Debbie,

Thanks. I have to agree with you . He’s a RINO in more ways than one. I hope this incident knocks him out of the Presidential race. I’d vote for Ted Cruz over “Mr. Big” any day of the week. The GOP doesn’t need another lame duck running against Madame charm in the Presidential race.

Peter on January 9, 2014 at 7:19 pm

I had the displeasure of listening to Fats Christy while my boss listened to National Puke Radio. He’s trying to cover up the fact that HE KNEW what was going on with the bridge shutdown. Debbie you are right in that doing something like this us right up Crispy Creme’s ally. The people who think otherwise are the same ones who think that Odumbo didn’t know about the IRS scandal or PIAPS not knowing about Benghazi. Remember this fat slobs speech at the RNC Convention. It was all about him. We also cannot forget his sucking up to our in-great president. This guy also wants to get into the White House frig so bad that he can taste it which in his case wouldn’t be a good idea. When Hitlery runs or in her case slow walks in 16(if you think she ain’t running you don’t know the PIAPS).If the GOP puts up Christy she will clean his clock. I’m with you also Debbie in that I think Ted Cruz would be a great president. Anyone who gives douchebags like McCain, McConnell, Boehner, and Gonzo, er I mean Cantor fits is alright in my book.

Ken B on January 9, 2014 at 8:15 pm

Debbie,

I won’t vote for someone who places American lives at risk – and who is enabling Islamic terrorists to do the same.

Nuff said. If he is the GOP nominee in 2016, I’ll vote for the Democrat to send my party a message.

This guy should NEVER get near the White House, period.

That’s how little I think of Chris Christie as a future presidential aspirant.

NormanF on January 9, 2014 at 8:54 pm

The only thing more overrated than Christie’s chances are Hillary’s. Although our side has too many gutless wonders and airhead hacks to defeat the Clinton machine, her problem is that she’s grated on too many within her own party. She couldn’t hold it together in the 2008 primary, and won’t in 2016 either.

Marco Rubio or maybe Rand Paul will win the GOP nomination, and lose to some Democrat empty suit. O’Malley, maybe, or possibly even Biden. All conventional wisdom says the GOP should win easily, but I think the media is too far gone, the bureaucrats too entrenched, and the general populace too stupid for us to take the White House for a while.

Brian R. on January 9, 2014 at 9:03 pm

And of course “Boob-io” is as much total slime in his own way as the Pauls, Issa, McConnell, Boehner, McCain, and the other RINO cast of characters. Oh yes, and the fathead “Crispy-Creme” Christie especially.

As for the networks’ coverage of the IRS harassment of tea-party groups: At the time they were reporting on it (even though there seemed to be a sense they were dragged into it kicking and screaming and couldn’t wait to drop it at the first opportunity), I had ditched cable TV for a combination of financial reasons (in our Obamaconomy) and the fact that the pickings on all channels (both broadcast and cable) were getting worse and more in league with what one finds in a sewer. So I was in essence out of the loop on that. Still, that they covered that at all is remarkable.

And now we hear comparisons of ChrispieCreme’s conduct on this issue to Nixon at the time of Watergate. Which is already as old as the whole “polar vortex” talking point from the recent cold snap.

ConcernedPatriot on January 9, 2014 at 9:15 pm

The problem with humanity is humanity itself. When politicians have too much to lose, the will say and sometimes do anything to retain their sense of power. The kind of things that CC said are the same kinds of things most criminals would say at arraignment. It is hard to believe that those who were so close to him would ever make these kinds of decisions unless they knew their boss would want them to or had in the past. When it backfired (someone did die after all) you know that sacrificial goats are going to turn into speed bumps and then the epic stalling, lying, obfuscation, etc., will really ramp up. The ultimate template to lay over everything is the lie.

QiPo on January 9, 2014 at 9:31 pm

Some people seem to have real difficulties understanding what really happened in the George Washington Bridge Scandal. I am here to ‘splain it all to you.

The official story goes something like this….

Gov. Chris Christie’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Bridget Anne Kelly, thought up an idea all on her own. As retribution for Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich’s failure to endorse Christie, she decided to shut down several lanes of the George Washington Bridge to create a big traffic mess or worse. (For those of you who haven’t been on the GW Bridge, the traffic there is dreadful even when ALL lanes are open, so you can use your imagination what shutting some lanes down would do.)

To get her evil plan going, she sends an e-mail to top Port Authority official David Wildstein that said: “Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.”

Wildstein responds to Kelly’s e-mail: “Got it.”

And then some lanes of the Bridge are shut down. Christie, being the good guy that he is, was just so busy working on programs to help the citizens of New Jersey that he had no idea what was going on, and was caught completely blindsided by Kelly’s evil master plan.

But after many weeks had passed, Christie, possessing sound investigative skills, almost as strong as his commitment to honesty and integrity in government, eventually determined that Kelly was behind this evil scheme and he took prompt, heroic action.

Christie described Kelly as “stupid” and “deceitful,” adding, “I’ve terminated her employment because she lied to me.”

Okay, now that you have the official story. I will ‘splain what really happened.

First, the top members of a governor’s staff do not do ANYTHING of significance without the explicit instructions of the governor. They are exactly like soldiers and must carry out orders with absolute loyalty to their superior. They do not think, they do not reason, they do not question. They carry out orders. Period. Are you with me so far? (If you’re still having trouble understanding this, ask yourself when was the last time that a Press Secretary for a politician ever said or did anything other than what his/her boss told them to do?)

Second, so yes, that means Christie gave the orders and Kelly carried them out.

Third, now, some of you may be “thinking”: “Hey, I just heard Christie say what really happened, and he said that he wasn’t involved and he seems very sincere and I believe him.” Well, I have some bad news for you. Yes, although they are elected officials, politicians do, in fact, lie to the public. And yes, they often may appear quite credible when they do. But being able to “act” goes with the profession of politics. And a politician who lacked the ability to conceal his/her lies wouldn’t be a politician very long. The ability to act is once of the requirements of the profession.

Finally, today, a citizen has to learn how to decode the prevarications and canards of the politicians if you want to know what’s really going on. So, as a public service, I’ll dissect some of Christie’s statements so you will understand what he’s really telling you:

For example, consider when Christie described Kelly as “stupid” and “deceitful,” adding, “I’ve terminated her employment because she lied to me.”

Here’s the translation of these statements into truthful ones:

“Kelly was stupid for putting my instructions in an email. That was very dumb. It creates a document trail that could point the finger at me. You don’t see ME putting stuff like that in emails. I know better.”

“I was really deceitful, not Kelly, but I’m the Boss, and so her head is going to roll, not mine. That’s the way the game is played when we get caught.”

So that’s it, folks. Will Christie ever admit the truth? Not in our lifetime or his.

Will Kelly admit that Christie gave her the order and she just carried it out? Very unlikely. That would be tantamount to saying, “You know, I’m sick and tired of these lying politicians who throw their employees who carry out their instructions under the bus when we get caught. So you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to blow the whistle on lousy politicians like Christie and bring them down. And I don’t care that I’ll be blackballed for the rest of my life, and my life and those of my loved ones will be destroyed by those politicians and their goons.”

Therefore, expect a little “investigative” charade to follow. But when all’s said and done, it’ll be a Warren Commission type conclusion: “Kelly acted on her own as the lone nut in this case. There is no credible evidence implicating Christie.”

One thing that you won’t see Christie do. Christie won’t take a lie detector test to prove that he’s innocent. Although I’ll admit to you that Christie is a fairly decent actor (–I would cast him corrupt cop roles in TV dramas if I were doing a teledrama–), he would flunk a lie detector test because he doesn’t believe his own lies. Remember, he’s a liar, not stupid. All politicians remember the last time a politician tried to prove that he was telling the truth by taking a lie detector test. That was many years ago in Philadelphia. Mayor Frank Rizzo took such a test to prove that he wasn’t lying, but he flunked it! Can you imagine the public embarrassment about that? And from videos of Frank Rizzo, I’d say he was a far better actor than Christie.

As I often do, I will close on something funny, for your amusement. Some politicians are not only good actors, but some seem even possess talent as stand-up comics. Consider this clip of the late Sen. Arlen Specter at the Improv:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIFJygPvsTg

Tony Soprano would have had any one who crossed him the wrong “sleeping with the fishes.”

It all begins and end with The Boss. No one does anything on their own initiative.

And if the top guy doesn’t really know what the heck is going on in his own organization, he won’t be the top guy for much longer.

Organized crime bosses know who they are. They don’t make excuses.

But Christie prefers to play dumb than owe up to his own actions! Let’s face it; he ain’t a New Jersey Wise Guy.

NormanF on January 10, 2014 at 1:12 am

Thanks for the clarification, Ralph. I couldn’t make head nor tail of the NYDN’s account and Debbie really kind of went off on the Krispy creme jokes and fat comments too much to make it clear. My computer was down for a couple of days so I may have missed the main story. It had to be underhanded politicking with the PANYNJ tho for any of this to happen in a seemingly legal manner. And having grown up in Hudson County and hearing the tales from the Hague days which left a lasting legacy, I don’t doubt your account at all.

Christie is all about the pork.
Sure he lost the election and we have now have 4 years of Obama thanks to him but he did it for the Hurricane Katrina victims right? Wrong.
This corrupt fat little CAIR poster boy has no self control besides being a creep.
Even the stomach staples didn’t seem to do much.
If people find that appealing then hey – hope you get stuck in traffic on a bridge somewhere.

BTW the BBC is portraying him as a maverick who thinks out of the conservative box and is crossing its fingers he can make a come back. You can hear the plaintive tones in the voices of the commentators all but wishing him a speedy recovery.
Sure they know how corrupt he is but he’s their kind of corrupt and he won the election for their guy.
If you think they’re impartial when it comes to US presidential elections forget about it.
They don’t forget that kind of thing.

belugajedi on January 10, 2014 at 3:49 am

Amazingly, there are quite a few fools, dupes, and ultracretins who still believe that Christie is innocent.

I’m not sure logic is going to persuade the mentally deficient of the truth, but I’m always willing to try.

Assume for a moment that Christie actually were innocent.

Okay, then. What would he do the minute he heard about the mess being caused by the lane closings?

He would have gotten on the phone immediately to David Wildstein, the Port Authority official that HE appointed and was in charge of the Bridge closing. Wildstein would have told him exactly what happened.

Did Christie contact Wildstein to “find out what happened”? No, he didn’t.

Instead, Christie says he called in his staff and told them they have one hour to tell him what they knew about the Bridge lane closings. Christie then says that nobody came forward.

But Christie’s story makes no sense. Like I said, if he really were innocent and wanted to get to the bottom, he would have simply gotten Wildstein on the phone and gotten the truth out of him. Wildstein was appointed by Christie and took his ORDERS from Christie.

So, Christie story is total bullsheis. He obviously not only knew all along what was going on, but he was responsible for the order. It’s the only logical explanation.

Ralph Adamo on January 10, 2014 at 3:54 am

What is so sad about this country is that two scumbags (pardon my French) Christie and Clinton are front runners for nomination for the presidency. I would rather vote for Putin who is unfortunately a Russian patriot. We no longer have patriots in this country.

Jerry G on January 10, 2014 at 9:30 am

Then there are the moderate Republicans (sorry for the duplication). Perhaps the most hypocritical is Guiliani, who focused on Christie’s ‘great performance’ yesterday. That seemed to be the main issue for him. The former mayor did acknowledge that ‘if he was guilty’ there would be more problems though. Can it be that an experienced former prosecutor such as Guiliani could not figure out what every here was able to understand — that he certainly was guilty and that this could not have happened without his knowledge?

Then there are the ‘conservatives. Some, like Nikki Haley, stil considered conservative for some reason, also announced their de facto support for him. Others though are ‘silent’. Why would someone be silent if they actually were opposed to Christie and what he was doing? Why wouldn’t they say something, as the people here on this blog are doing?

It seems like they aren’t really opposed, deep down to Christie and what he represents. They aren’t realy opposed to much of anything the Dems do either. They flit from issue to issue, going on after a pretense of making an issue of something, to something else. The opposition to Obamacare has become much more muted in the last few days. The Gates book only had a life of a couple of days.

The main continuing issues seem to Benghazi and the economy. The economy — raising the debt ceiling every few months and going along with the Dems’ spending. Some opposition.

And Benghazi? Deplorable from all sides, but a very narrow issue. Mentioning Benghazi enables a pretense of being concerned with foreign policy without having to oppose Obama on the deeper issues of the Mideast such as the pandering to Islamic terrorists and the fight against Israel.

It would be nice if a credible third party develops. The Socialists before World War I did not win many elections, but help bring about the growth of government and partial redistribution of wealth that occurred in that era.

Little Al on January 10, 2014 at 9:43 am

Love it. All that cuddling with Obomber, down the drain. Poetic justice. He thought he would get the “reach around” from the media for assisting Obomber in 2012, but he didn’t anticipate they were reaching around to put the jumper cables on his donuts. Couldn’t happen to a nicer Sopranos wannabe.

Sort of funny, but Hillary is gearing up for disappointment: Mullah Barry shows no signs of leaving the WH, golf and endless campaigning when his term is over. Wimp Boehner is giving Him
everything he needs to saty on ….

“I knew nothing – NOTHING.” I first heard about it from my media man who saw it on a newspaper’s website, etc.” This cheap politician in a large suit sounded just like Obambi. I suffered through his “Heartfelt apology and a portion of the “Press conference.” More pap for the Sheeple and lowinfomofo’s. If anyone out there is swallowing the B.S. from Christie, I have a bridge to sell you…….and if you reply in the next ten minutes, I’ll send you a second bridge……absolutely free. (Just pay shipping and handling.) This story is just beginning…….the fact that Mr. Wildstein immediately took the 5th is telling. The state run media loves this event since they can now completely ignore Obamacare, Benghazi, etc.

This just in folks. Now that Christmas music has stopped playing on my favorite radio station it gave me an excuse to go slumming. On Vannity’s radio show he had on former Christy rah rah girl Anne Coulter. The poor dear was all on Christy’s large backside not too long ago. Now she’s done a supposed 180 calling big boy a corrupt politician. Well duh Ann. Anyone with half a brain knew that the amnesty loving, Islam pandering, thin skinned windbag is a corrupt POS. No wonder he and the O’Clown looked so good in those after Sandy pictures.

Chris Chrispicreme makes poor choices of staff just like Barack Obama does (Eric Holder, Hillary Benghazi, et al). Barack Obama doesn’t deserve to be President; neither do Hillary Benghazi nor Chris Humungous.

NormCBS on January 11, 2014 at 2:53 pm

And now the lawsuits against Christie have begun. And well they should, though I doubt that Christie will be end up having to testify. However, Christie has pledged to pay the public back for the “mistakes” of his “renegade” underlings who “misunderstood” his wishes. Here is his public statement:

Ralph Adamo on January 11, 2014 at 9:11 pm

Business as usual in the Garden State. But actually, it’s the Port of New York and New Jersey that runs the bridges and tunnels, not the State. That is an independent and I believe private body. http://www.panynj.gov/about/ This isn’t to excuse Christie. He should have known but I’m not sure he had any authority to stop the survey. Fort Lee is not a large community and it’s actually State Rte. 4 that feeds into the bridge on the NJ side. What Christie SHOULD have done was sent the State Police to assist although that access has been a nightmare for over 30 years. I grew up in that area and I know it well. Rt 4 is totally inadequate as a feeder road coupled with the fact that the GWB spills out into city streets in Upper Manhattan or the cross borough highways. However most of the traffic at rush hour is Manhattan bound commuters from the Bergen County suburbs. It is scandalous that the governor had no knowledge of this mess and he must be held accountable. I do wonder why all the blame is being passed onto him and there is nary a word about the PANYNJ who bear the brunt of the responsibility in reality.

M: Huh? Clearly, you don’t get it. If the State didn’t have the authority, his top advisers would not have been able to order the bridge study that shut down most of the lanes. Clearly, they DO have control. They had control to start the problems. They had control to stop them. DS

Meira on January 12, 2014 at 6:47 am

No, Debbie, that’s not how PANYNJ works. They are autonomous with their own police force. NJ/NY policing, both state and local, end once you get on that on ramp. It was the PA police that told everyone not to panic but to stay in the Towers on 9/11.THEY, not the NYC or various NJ police forces closed down the bridges and tunnels during the crisis.
I lived there for 36 years and commuted those routes. Also the President of St. Peter’s College in Jersey City was a PA Commissioner when I was a student. THEY HAVE TOTAL CONTROL. It is THEY who commissioned the study and it is THEIR police force which said yea or nay to traffic flow.

M: WRONG. Christie’s people got the study to be performed on the bridge. They admitted as much in e-mails. They had the power to stop it. E-mails from the guy who heads the NY Port Authority showed he didn’t know what was going on and wanted to stop it but couldn’t, proving your theories are wrong. DS

Meira on January 12, 2014 at 1:14 pm

Ok, Debbie, I saw Ralph Adamo’s clarification. Apparently with having no computer for almost 2 weeks I missed the initial story. You are right but he still had to go thru PANYNJ to make it look kosher. And that was my original question, why is no one going after them? They could have refused with impunity. But as an attorney, you really believe E-mails from a guy who is a about to be nailed for a major fiasco of this magnitude? BTW, it was a guy at PANYNJ who bluntly refused to give my newly discharged. MBA ex-husband a job because he had served in the US ARMY during Viet Nam. The guy actually told him he wouldn’t hire him for that reason. They are not the good guys.
I hope your gloating at my error made your day.

Meira on January 12, 2014 at 3:55 pm

Oh, and first you say the emails practically admit they were coerced and then you say the Head of PANYNJ claims he didn’t know what was going on but wanted to stop it. Huh? The PA is a very powerful, autonomous body. I doubt they could be coerced unless they wanted to and unless the head guy knew about it. The governor is the instigator but they are definitely passing the whole buck to him when they are to blame for agreeing.

Meira on January 12, 2014 at 4:04 pm

All I have to say is I didn’t vote in the last election for either candidate because of what I know about Christie and supporting Qatanani. I voted on certain ballot issues but decided not to vote for either candidate because of what I know about this.

And I know a lot. I live in Northern NJ and I work for a company which I later found out that my boss belongs to his Mosque. ICPC. Very disturbed what I found about this Mosque although it doesn’t find the silly propaganda in the way some people think extremists are as they are more sophisticated then we give them credit for and partly we are losing because of our arrogance and our own support of liberal causes that help extremists flourish which I will explain here.

But I have to say it isn’t just Chrstie. THey play this game of claiming they are Moderates. He also has a Dommestic VIolence organization called WAFA house. I have noticed that at this job they hire single women and even clients they have are taught to take sides in a family dispute and hate the father and feel the women is a victim which is just disgusting and immoral. If one case is like this ok but when we see it again and again something isn’t right. I susepct for THIS REASON SOME LAW ENFORCEMENT in NJ support Qatanani

In fact Qatanani has used the abuse excuse himself claiming Israel emotionally and physically that he has neck and back pain and he was forced to make confessions. Have heard that one before.

I also have to say shame on the Jewish community and shame on my parents. As I have found this out does anyone do anything to help me out of this job. THe answer is no. In fact my father wants me to ask for a raise in this job. And he is Orthodox. I am not worth much because I am a near sided guy that has his own problems but still. I think they care more about Domestic Violence (even though the reality isn’t that women 100% good and men 100% bad in the first place) then the fact this man is not a Moderate in any way shape or form. In fact in the video on you on his trial he has Rabbi Dovid Feldman of Jews not zionists defending him.

In fact this DV stuff is exactly how Qatanani can push his own extremism that any man who disagrees with his crazy positions he can try to get the women to divorce him and this will shut all men up. Men without fathers are more prone to have any inhibition to engage in anythinmg. But his behavior is much different then the cartoon image some have on extremists and I hate to say it but just as some Jews hate MUslims because they feel their culture isn’t feminist enough for their tastes Muslims hate us for the same reason and feminism tends to favor higher numbers and group think so we lose in this case. They hate us because of Leviticus 15 and these laws that were demanded if we had a temple which also I feel the Jewish establishment include Rabbis find as a threat because after all if we had a temple a Cohen would do the service not a Rabbi.

Here are a few videos on this Qatanani. The first on his deportation hearing. Notice Rabbi Dovid Feldman claiming he is Moderate. Yeah, ok. The other are documentaries which show the alliances this Qatanani is making which he has Priests and Rabbis supporting him as well although as can be seen going to those Christain Groups that have a problem with Israel and some Reform and Conservative Rabbis although to be fair it is a small number of those and they ARE NOT IN THIS VIDEO only the Priest and some women who defend their male Priest religious leaders doing this. And Law Enforcement defending this Qatanani.

adam on January 12, 2014 at 10:54 am

No, Adam, our community will not help you get away from an Arab boss. Even if you were unemployed and really desperate, they would not help you find work. A Jewish guy did give my husband work once but required Shabbat work! Business declined but my husband’s busiest day was Monday, in furniture sales, yet! He never sold a thing on Shabbat.
If you want to work for a Jew with Jewish values, come to israel.

Meira on January 12, 2014 at 1:18 pm

I have the same situation now where a Jewish guy gave me employment but wants me to work on Saturday.

But most Orthodox people by the way in the USA who have interviewed in the last few years are very mean and petty to the point that even non-Jews are embarrassed by them for their reason for not hiring a co-religionist.

But anyway. I do have some family in Israel on my mothers side and sad to say they are only interested in helping Jewish women and not Jewish men and the big shot in the family is a social worker who the Rabbis love who they can hide behind to throw fathers out of the home. The Rabbis can’t handle men who disagree with them and my family I am sorry I am not happy with what I have seen on Facebook and otherwise. I don’t see it as Jewish values. Some want to practice Exile style Judaism in Israel which is absurd as many aspects of Judaism have nothing to do with God but us imitating the worst behaviors of organized religion.

Also the men who live in Israel never have an opinion on anything and the women promote the male Rabbi. If I didn’t know any better I would think the Jewish men are being persecuted by someone. This in Israel. So I don’t know what to say anymore.

We have our own very serious problems which some want to focus on hating Islam all day to pretend we don’t have serious problems. That is all I have to say.

adam on January 12, 2014 at 8:20 pm

Adam, I know some people here will get upset by what I’m going to say but that is more common in the Ashkenazi community where men are encouraged to study Torah and only study Torah while their wives go out to work and they get child support. The Social work system here is evil. But we are not part of that community and the men we know are men.

Meira on January 13, 2014 at 3:55 am

Chris Christie is a good reason to shake up the primary system. The primaries are a way to rip off the rest of the country, with these north eastern political elites calling the cards on who’s who in their exclusive point of view.

Christie is not of value outside the state of NJ, and he’s certainly not welcome in Colorado, but you can bet they’ll try to foist someone like that onto us again. By the time this political contrivance reaches Colorado, the east coast has already made the choice…which frankly does not ever suit the rest of the US very well.

All these election tricks of the trade, like that which the Chicago boys and media first foisted on Florida during Gore’s frantic assault on the Constitution is now seen as standard operating procedure. The north east, wins by hook or crook, and they’d like Colorado voters for example to believe that they’ve actually got a choice in the matter.

Who knows why north eastern states know better about the west than even the residents themselves? That’s the danger; the elitist arrogance that both Christie and Bloomberg pose to the rest of the nation. Ha Ha Ha, yeah and they are the prime reason the Electoral College must stand!!

Let’s just say, the rest of the country is likely not sad, nor surprised to see him under investigation. I think it is funny though, about how serious they were, or that they even thought he’s a viable candidate.

d on January 13, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Come on this is worse than the IRS scandal? A bridge lane shutdown is worse than government suppression of political enemies. Have you jumped the shark Debbie? I hate Christie and think Christie is a blowhard and wont vote for him. However, Ted Cruz was not born in America like Barack Hussein Obama. And even if Obama was born in Hawaii, he gave up his citizenship when he lived in Indonesia. I am a birther and WE BIRTHERS will challenge Ted Cruz’s eligibility. Love Cruz but love the Constitution even more. I hope Alan West jumps in.

He was the ultimate thug life champion for the fat older set instead of the young hip hop set. Unfortunately that is not enough of a platform to base a political career on. He was praised for his rough gruff nature rather than his accomplishments. In the end what made him popular seems to be what is doing him in.

Basically he has been running on hot air. At some point, the balloon had to land.
